Hey everyone. This is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology [https://nightlightastrology.com/].
Today we're going to take a look at the third and final trine from Mercury in Pisces to Jupiter in Cancer.
Seems like maybe not the world's most exciting transit to talk about. But this is actually the third time because of the forward, retrograde and forward back and forth of Mercury in Pisces that Mercury is connected with Jupiter.
And this isn't just any Jupiter. This is an exalted Jupiter who is Mercury's host that creates a reception between the two planets. And that reception, plus the trine, plus an exalted Jupiter, tends to be really healing and very positive and beneficial connection between these two planets.
I want to talk about that. I'll map out the timeline for you of their transits with one another, and then I'll give you a list of things to watch for granted that it's happening this week.
Also, I have been creating content in advance because my family is on vacation, so you've seen some guests come and go on the channel, and I, because I was recording out of order of my usual schedule, I forgot to show you what's on my altar this week. So I will also do that, and I apologize for some inconsistency around showing you what's on my altar week by week, especially as I, like I said, as I've been planning content far in advance.
So when my family leaves on vacation, it's all set to go. I got out of my normal rhythm, so I apologize for that, but in case you're curious, I got something fun on my altar to show you today as well.
Anyway, before we get into it, remember to like and subscribe, share your comments, your reflections. What is going on with all of you? It is always good to hear from you guys and to just know more about what you're experiencing of the astrological weather.
You can find transcripts of any of these daily talks on the website, that's nightlightastrology.com. If you're not yet subscribed, doing that helps us tremendously. We aren't trying to like fool the algorithm machine with crazy thumbnails. We're just here to create astrology content. So if you like it, if you value it, give it a thumbs up and subscribe. It helps us a ton.
All right. So on that note, I am also going to show you what is happening over at Nightlight right now. So a couple of promotions for the day.
One, go to the events page. Click on community quiet. Every single day of the week, you can join us for a time of sitting in silence, meditation, prayer, whatever you want to call it. We are trying to offer this so that people who enjoy the content on this channel can also have some spiritual community and a place to practice and take care of yourself each day.
Quiet practice is something that's been at the heart of content creation for me for, you know, 16 years. So anyway, the schedule is there. It's wide open. It's free. Hope to see some of you there. Come join us. It's Monday through Saturdays. We follow the same schedule, a little bit different on Sundays, but it's all explained right there on the page. The Zoom link is there to join. Again, it's all free.
Go to the monthly webinars. You can check out my talk on the sun coming up in April. I'll be telling you more about that closer to the time. And we also have the final speakers, the talk of our speaker series, coming up on the 28th so you can check that out as well. That's the end of this week. I hope that some of you will be able to join and enjoy that talk on the nodes of the moon with Jolly. Not that's free as well.
So just some good free stuff to make sure that you're aware of. The other thing that I want to turn you on to is our annual retreat. We actually still have just a couple of need-based tuition spots available. So if you'd like to join us in Mexico, we saved a few spots at the end for people who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend, like they couldn't afford it.
So we like to make sure that we always have a little bit of that need-based offering available in our program. So if that's you and you might like to come with us on this awesome astrology retreat in June, check that out. Email us if you're interested. Info@nightlightastrology.com.
Last but not least, check out the readings need-based astrology readings, tiered pricing, so that you can find a reading that meets your budget, and then I do horary readings, in case that's interesting to you.
All right. Well, let's open Nechepso and take a look. This is the new software program I've been using. I'll say more about that at the end of today's talk, in case you're interested in checking it out. I did do a live stream with the creators recently. So if you want to hear more about this kind of cutting edge software, I think it's really special. I've been very excited to use it. But anyway, I'll say more about that before we close. I'm an affiliate. I'll tell you how you can sign up getting a discount.
So what we're looking at today, Tuesday, March 31, is we're really looking at the, excuse me, the Mercury in Pisces that is coming into one final trine, one final trine with Jupiter in Cancer.
So Mercury is, obviously having gone through a retrograde. I'm going to actually do my little display thing here. I'm going to take out everything. We're going to get rid of the sun and get rid of the moon, Venus, Mars. We're going to keep everything in, except for these two planets. I'll even take out my nodes to keep this chart really clean. That's what I love about this.
Anyway, so what I want to do really quick is just show you the back and forth that has taken place over the past weeks. So if we go back in time, we're going to note that it was in direct motion that the two planets came together. To take it back like about a day, so here they are in direct motion through the trine. Mercury is in Jupiter's sign, so it has reception with Jupiter in a trine. Jupiter is exalted. That's February 16.
We take it forward just a little bit more. We're going to see that Mercury then approaches its retrograde. By the end of February in retrograde motion, it comes back to the trine of Jupiter, and it does so around March 8 through the 9th. So the 8th and 9th, the Mercury-Jupiter trine perfects one more time.
Then Mercury stationed and turned direct. And you can see that stationing happening right here on Saturday, March 21. And now it's turning direct, coming forward. And this is what's interesting to us, is that here at the start of this week, now for the final time, Mercury and Jupiter are getting back together.
So if you take that from mid-February through early April, we're seeing this three-part series. It's like a three-part Netflix special from these two planets.
And again, the reason that this is powerful is that there's reception. Trines are powerfully supportive. Reception is powerfully supportive, especially when the reception takes place in a trine, and then the trine is with an exalted planet. That's a really kind of about as subjectively positive as some of the details of an aspect could get, right.
So what we want to do is ask ourselves, what can we watch for? And then, if you feel like doing the tracking, look at the whole sign house of Pisces in your chart and Cancer. Think about the connection between those two houses, what they've been saying to each other from about the middle of February through right now.
But then, here's five things to watch for, given their connection this week. Over the next couple of days, we'll see them connect. Here's what you can note. Now this is taking into consideration their whole cycle, the fact that we're connecting in direct motion for the third time, etc.
The first one would be revelations and clarity after confusion. It's really simple. Anything that was delayed or lost or misunderstood or had to be revised may be now ready to be implemented or to be moved forward with somehow.
I'll tell you that I'm just submitting my book for publication after finishing the editing process. Not surprisingly, that took place through this exact timeline. So the editor is an 11th house kind of person, an ally, a friend, a colleague. The third house in my chart, where Jupiter and Cancer is, pertains to things like writing.
So you know, this process for me is really easy to see because it's been tied to submitting my final edits, working with an editor, finishing the edits throughout the back and forth that Mercury and Jupiter have had together.
But anything that went through a process that had to be revised, that might have involved something getting lost or being confusing or going through some kind of clarification process, you may find now there's greater understanding or clarity. Now you understand something that wasn't understood before, or that there's deeper meaning that's being revealed within a process that you've been through recently. And again, you can track these houses in this timeline. So that's the first one. Just things getting clear, things becoming coherent after a period of breakdown, delay, confusion or revision.
Number two would be restoration, and I'm thinking specifically about the opportunity for things like healing dialogue, healing communication, maybe with family members, Jupiter in Cancer, maybe with loved ones. Maybe there's a greater degree of compassion, forgiveness, emotional sensitivity or empathy available right now that can make understanding and connectivity easier.
And maybe it also allows for things like restoration, emotional repair or healing. Words are being spoken that may have a greater nurturing capacity or heightened sensitivity, that are more protective and bonded and connected and concerned emotionally. Any time that there needs to be an apology made, this is something like a great apology transit or reconciliation or some kind of listening or holding space rather than debating, defending, fighting, power struggling.
So I love this as just restoration, healing, connectivity, empathy, sensitivity, compassion.
Number three, the other thing that can come because of this connection is that if any kind of creative projects were stalled, and a lot of the times creative projects get stalled because you're not sure where to go next, this forward movement and forward connection may bring renewed inspiration, where the intuition suddenly tells you what needs to happen next.
Where there's been a lack of knowing where to go, where there's been a feeling of being stalled out, suddenly the creativity, the intuition, the imagination, something's ready to grow again. If something's been delayed or set back in its growth. In other words, you may find that the sudden insider knowledge about how to get things rolling or moving forward or growing again returns.
I would also say that anything intuitive, meditation, prayer, altered states of consciousness, an artistic process, subtle things like dreams or mystical states of awareness may be occurring under this transit and may be part of a process somehow. Maybe, for example, your spiritual practice is especially meaningful or is delivering some especially powerful insights right now.
The reason for that is that Mercury and Jupiter, when they come together in a trine like this, especially with Mercury in Pisces, can deliver non-ordinary insights. By that, I mean sometimes revelation comes to us very suddenly, not because we've put logical A plus B plus C together to bring us to some understanding, but because it arrives rather suddenly and unexpectedly without a normal logical process behind it.
Something like that could come about right now, like the way that you understand something through that random psychic hit that you get, or a synchronicity that occurs. I would watch for things like that right now.
The next one to me is all about emotional wisdom. When these two planets get together, if you've been going through difficult emotional experiences or processes from Mercury's retrograde in Pisces onward, then underlying lessons may now be available. Emotional maturity may be available.
This could also be a time where advice being given or received is very powerful. Mercury-Jupiter trine with an exalted Jupiter can be like mentorship, guidance, teaching, wise or elder sages or gurus or guides, somehow giving us protective, stabilizing wisdom or advice.
Also anything involving home, family, caregiving, the Jupiter in Cancer themes could be more important right now, emotional loyalties, emotional entanglements. This is also a transit that really is about speaking from the heart rather than intellect. Even though Mercury can be quite intellectual, this connection suggests a more emotional form of intelligence being more important somehow.
And then finally, I would say, and I kind of mentioned this earlier, but anything that, whether it's an agreement and a contract or a plan to travel somewhere, or an application process or whatever, if it was stalled out, or if you've been waiting for something, you might receive what you've been waiting for, or a process that was delayed may move forward again, or administrative or logistical, excuse me, matters that were stalled out or became really complicated may begin resolving themselves.
Anything that is showing up right now could be rewarding patience, you know, like if you had to be patient with a process or a review period of some kind, any long process you've been through that's reaching a state of conclusion, and now things can move forward because of it. That's very much what I'm experiencing with my book editing being finished, for example.
And any time these planets get together like this, after a back and forth, the idea that you may feel ready or clear about what you believe or what you know to be true, that you can act on and follow, as opposed to a breakdown of faith, or the appearance of doubt or of wondering, of kind of a skepticism, or like, I'm not sure, you may feel just a genuine sense of clarity and faith so that you can move forward with something.
So I know some of these kind of overlapped with one another, but all different angles that I have on what is really a very powerful transit this week.
I know it's not a sexy headline. People are like, Oh, it's not like Mars-Pluto. If it's not coming to completely mess us up, you know, I guarantee this video will get less views than like an eclipse video.
What always bothers me as an astrologer about that is that your ability to grow through what astrology has to offer is only as good as your ability to learn to see and feel all of the transits in astrology as they're moving through, not just the big ones.
It would be like saying that if you wanted to become a great filmmaker, that the only important thing would be to watch the blockbuster films every year. Well, some of the blockbuster films are going to include great art and great entertainment, and sometimes both. As Harrison Ford recently said in his speech, sometimes we entertain, sometimes we make art, sometimes we do both.
If you just watch the blockbuster transits as an astrologer, you know, it would be like watching only blockbuster movies and thinking you could become a really great artist of film. I mean, maybe that's a bad analogy, but you get what I mean. We have to take all the transits seriously and take them to heart and be curious and interested in them. Otherwise we're just creating a celestial tabloid.
So anyway, rant over. Carry on with your day. Have a good one.
And yeah, oh, my altar. I almost did it again. Let's not do that. All right, I'm gonna show you what's on my altar today. Where am I? Okay? Here we go.
So have you ever heard of Lenormand? It's a very interesting form of, it's like tarot a little bit, but it's very different. Let me make sure I'm pronouncing that correctly. Hold on, yeah, yeah. It's called Lenormand. I think it's Lenormand.
Anyway, someone told me about this as a really interesting sort of divinatory deck that is not identical. It's similar to tarot, but it's really got its own systematic logic. It's very interesting. I've been working with it, and so I put it on my altar, just to make sure that, you know, the right spirits, the right guidance come through as I'm kind of introducing myself to this new divinatory system.
Anyway, in case that's interesting to you guys, I like to explore things and learn about new things. I also like to be sure that when I'm doing so, I ask for protection and support. Maybe it's superstitious, but I feel like when I'm introducing myself to something new like that, I like to do it as respectfully as I can, you know.
So anyway, in case this is useful to you, all of you people who like to put weird shit on shelves, I like that you all like that the other day so much.
Anyway, that's it for today. Hope you're having a good one. We'll see you again next time. Bye.
