Bio
Susheela Willis (she/her) grew up in a family where the Jyotish astrologer was one of the first people you called upon the birth of a baby. But like many before her, her interest in astrology began as a kid sitting on the floor of a bookstore, poring over that sun sign astrology classic, The Secret Language of Birthdays. She’s been studying and practicing astrology ever since. Her most significant astrological education has been with Adam Elenbaas at Nightlight Astrology, where she now serves as a teaching assistant for the Year 1 and Year 2 programs. She’s also been influenced by the work of Chris Brennan, Demetra George and Chani Nicholas, to name just a few.
Susheela’s practice is rooted in traditional Hellenistic astrology and aims to help you remember that your connection with the cosmos is intrinsic and accessible. Serving as a translator between you and your chart, she bridges worlds—the archetypal and the personal, the symbolic and the tangible, the eternal and the fleeting—to make astrology relevant to your everyday life. Her readings are practical, conversational and collaborative. Together, the two of you will untangle your questions and curiosities.
Susheela lives in Toronto with her husband and two young kids. When she’s not reading charts, you’ll find her enjoying an audiobook on a very long walk, lifting kettlebells in her living room, or learning multiple languages at a time on Duolingo (currently French, German, Irish and Latin).
