Bio
Rachel Rawlings studies and practices traditional astrology. Her consultations are rooted in Hellenistic and Persian techniques, combined with modern methodologies. Her approach is to help clients understand the planetary signatures in their natal chart, identifying themes that are active and pointing to areas of strength and challenge, believing that an astrology reading has the capacity to shed light on and bring validation to life’s circumstances and experiences. This method has brought healing and a sense of empowerment to her, informing her desire to help others connect to their own inner freedom and internal wisdom through the unique signatures in their natal chart.
After a period of self study, Rachel began courses with Nightlight Astrology in 2020, taking all four, full-year programs. Since then, she’s also studied under Demetra George, Dr. Benjamin Dykes, Kelly Surtees, Michelle Corbesier, and larry arrington.
By day, Rachel works as an administrative factotum, often joking that her job is the junk drawer of the office, where she manages, liaises, and coordinates random bits of everything that keeps business flowing. After hours, she moonlights as an astrologer, writer, editor, and yoga instructor, while also maintaining the curious mind of a student, continuously studying under teachers and mentors.
Rachel has held astrology consultations since 2022, publishes her writing on Medium.com, serves as an editor, notably for The Mountain Astrologer magazine during 2021-2024, and leads yoga classes and workshops in her community. Most importantly, she is a mom to three adult kids and a nine-year-old rescue dog.
