Hey everyone. This is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology [https://nightlightastrology.com/].
Today, we are going to continue our exploration of Uranus entering the sign of Gemini by taking a specific look at what Uranus is most likely to disturb, rattle, or shake up. What established patterns is Uranus about to flip on their head, open up, revolutionize? Whatever words we want to use for Uranus, all of the standard words apply.
But I'm going to do some horoscopes today that are focused specifically on what area of life, what patterns are most likely to get broken up in your birth chart. It will be a kind of unique way of doing these Uranus horoscopes, and to me, it feels worthwhile, because as Uranus is making that ingress, oftentimes we get a loud announcement when Uranus enters that new whole sign house. So this will be, hopefully, another way of looking at this major ingress.
Right now, before we get into it, as always, please remember to like and subscribe, share your comments and your reflections. If you appreciate the approach we take at Nightlight, for us to grow, it requires the people who watch to just take that second to subscribe. Give us the thumbs up every day. We really appreciate it.
You can find transcripts of any of these daily talks on the website. Of course, that's nightlightastrology.com. Just a couple of promotions for today. Every day, I like to remind everybody that you can come meditate with me every morning, me and the gang, some of all of you, all of you lovely souls from the audience who come out and meditate every morning. It is so nice to hang out with you guys.

It's absolutely free to join, just my way of trying to create a little bit more community around this channel and the spiritual intention behind it, which is to take care of ourselves and to tend to the soul of ourselves and the soul of the world.
Go to the Courses page. Click on first year course. At the end of today's video, there is an informational talk that I give about the first year course. It starts on June 28. It's coming up soon. Can't wait to see you guys in classes. This is an absolutely epic program that is going to give you such a deep foundation in ancient, ancient Hellenistic astrology with a kind of modern archetypal fusion worked into it.
You can learn everything there is to know about the program. The early bird sale is in effect now, and we do have need-based tuition, which allows you to pick within a sliding scale if you're on a very limited income and need a little help to make it possible to study this sacred topic. We believe in accessibility at Nightlight for people who really want astrology as a part of their lives. I think that's really, really important. So hopefully that helps some of you out there to come study with us.
All right. Well, on that note, let's shift our attention over to Nechepso. Remember, I'm an affiliate of Nechepso, this brand new, awesome, cutting edge astrological software program. You get 20% off the program annually or monthly, whatever you decide to do for your subscription. It is an awesome program. We've done a few meetings with the staff. You can see those in the live stream channels, but anyway, the code to get the discount from me as an affiliate is in the comment section or in the description of the video.
All right, so let's get out the epic pen. You can see here that Uranus is just entering Gemini. Talked about this from a variety of different angles. Did some horoscopes last week, talked about the fixed star Procyon that Uranus is conjoining here at the opening of Gemini. Lots of interesting ways of approaching this. Today, I want to do some horoscopes.
And what I'm going to do with my handy display options is eliminate everything from our perspective except for Uranus. And we're going to do some horoscopes. And the focus of these horoscopes will be on what is most likely to be disrupted. But first, I need to qualify what we mean by disruption.
And actually, while I'm doing this, let me get Aries up on the screen, and we'll go through each whole sign house at a time. But before I do that, let's talk briefly about what we mean by disruption and why this disruption exists at all. So the basic Uranian perspective, which I have also described elsewhere since we've been talking about Uranus a lot lately, but the basic perspective is one of disrupting established patterns of perception and established paradigms or habits or behaviors.
The idea being that life keeps moving. Life is naturally fluctuating. Change is constant, and as we are evolving spirit souls journeying, sojourning through the cosmos, temporarily finding ourselves in new bodies and new lifetimes. That's the paradigm in which ancient astrology exists. So you don't have to believe that necessarily, but let's work from within that paradigm for a second and talk about the role that Uranus plays within it.
If you embrace that paradigm, then the soul, in its limitedness, can't possibly perceive all that there is. So we are, by our natures, limited. However, because we participate in the exact same essence of the universe and of divinity, we also have access to understanding reality and truth and divinity, because we're part of it. So there's a bizarre paradox, which is that we're in some ways unlimited, because our spiritual nature is at one with the entirety of reality.
On the other hand, we're very limited because we take temporary forms in time and space, and from within that perspective, our ability to understand the ultimate, so to speak, is limited by time and space, limited by a cognitive framework. So a simple way of thinking about what Uranus is doing is that within each lifetime, our ability to perceive ourselves as spiritual beings, as a part of the infinite, eternal oneness of reality, is always evolving. It's always unfolding.
And more of what we are and more of what is real is constantly in the process of being revealed to us, mostly through experience. Experience as a teacher, you could say, and that's just a metaphor. Just experience naturally as a part of the revealing of divinity, the revealing of truth, the revealing of wisdom. You just live. It's that simple. Just live. You don't even have much of a choice, you know, because life itself is eternal.
The living, the learning, and the unfolding and revealing of divinity is an ongoing, never-ending process, and one that, as far as I can tell, is not about reaching some final understanding either. But along that journey, we reach plateaus. You could say you reach a plateau as a musician or an artist, and you know when you're in a plateau because everything feels more or less known, and that creates a certain level of comfort.
If we didn't have plateaus and we were just always changing and evolving, there'd be something a little unstable about that, in the same way that humans naturally seek stability in life, especially as we progress in age. Many of us, not all of us, but many of us, gradually go from experimentation and adventure and seeking who we are and all this, and we gradually often become a little bit more settled. We settle in. We settle down.
Puppies: wild, crazy, excitable, everything is new. They settle in. They get heavier. This lady on the Hilda back there, when we first got her, she was like a wild moose in the house, just disaster. She settled in. She likes her walk, she likes her toys, and she likes sleeping. She's active, but this is one of her prime times to just snooze in the morning. She's really busy, and she settles in.
So life does this. We're busy, we're dynamic, we're expanding, and then we settle in. Uranus is that planet that is prompting us to move from a plateau or a place of settledness to continued growth, but the way that it does that is to disrupt or intervene with things that may be a little bit comfortable. For example, something Uranian: if someone knocked at our front door right now, and I'm sure I can't get Hilda to do it, but let's just see. There we go. So I just knocked on my desk. She is a guardian dog.
Sorry, Hilda, she's a guardian dog. But if someone were really at the door, she'd run. My door is closed. She might just run through it. Okay? So Uranus is like that. Uranus takes us from the plateau of peaceful, easy, but potentially somewhat sleepy, stagnant, and it's an awakener, and it disrupts patterns so that we can continue. It alerts us to a paradigm not being able to hold more of what is coming and unfolding. That's about the simplest way I know how to explain what Uranus does on an evolutionary level for the journey of the soul.
So what I want to do now, with that in mind, is try to give you horoscopes that are aimed at: this is what is going to be disrupted. This is where that pound at the door is coming that wakes you up. Okay? And let's frame it that way and see if it helps a little bit. So I'm going to go through all 12 signs. I'm just going to give you some brief ideas about what this might look like, what's getting awakened, what's getting shaken up, what is the knock at the door that disrupts the pattern, opens the paradigm, gets you off a plateau and moving in a new or different direction.
Okay, now, let me just collapse this. I recommend listening to this for your rising sign, because this will correspond with the whole sign house version of your birth chart, and these are meant to just give you a specific approach. Okay, so we're looking at this purely from the lens of what's getting disturbed, what's getting awakened.
Aries rising. Let's start with that. You've got Uranus in the third house. Cognitive, mental, emotional, psychological dynamics are the place of change: your perceptions, how you communicate, how you think, how your mind works, and anything that relates to a shake-up of things connected to the mind, like skills, your sense of ego, your behavior. This house was traditionally called the joy of the Moon, and so what Uranus is going to do is shake up the psychological, somatic dimension of your life.
It can shake up also relationships that you have to peers and people that may even act like siblings or peers, and even that kind of friendly, competitive dimension of how do I stand out from other people in terms of my mental, psychological, or intellectual makeup. So this is where the shake-up is occurring. This is where the lightning bolt, the awakening, the pound at the door that alerts you, is coming. Now, sometimes that means that you're going to be asked to change your mind. I think that's probably the most basic thing. So that's Aries with the Gemini third.
Let's go to Taurus. Taurus, you have it in the second. Talking about the shake-up, the pound at the door, the rattling of the cage that awakens you, and that liberates things, and that frees things up around assets and money, time, energy and expenditures, income and expenditures. We're talking about the environment of people and things that directly support you: food, diet, anything that's connected to your physical well-being, or anyone that is closely connected to you and supports you.
The second house kind of buttresses the first, and was thought of as the place of support. Supporters and followers are found here, but also anything that supports you in the material world, in terms of resources, assets, acquisitions and so forth. So this area of life is ready for a real awakening, a shake-up of what is normal, or, again, getting to a plateau. Maybe it's time to accelerate development.
And that could have a direct connection to things like money and business, could have a direct connection to things like diet and health. The reason that it has a direct connection to those things is because it's everything that is directly supporting you, and shake-ups within that space. So that's going to look really different. So think about that for you Tauruses out there.
Now, if you're a Gemini, it's so existential, because the shake-up is you. It is your body, it is your vitality, it is your identity, it's your sense of self. So you are ready for self-recreation: identity and psychology and bodily health recreation. The difference between, say, Aries with the third house, mental psychological stuff, is that it has more to do with social behavior. The first house really has more to do with how I see myself. The first house Uranus here is saying old concepts ready to go, new identities ready to be experimented with and embraced.
Your selfhood is the ground of a revolution, and that can also carry over to things like health, vitality, physical appearance, and anything related to the categories of identity that constitute your life. All right, so think about selfhood as the ground of the revolution, the knock at the door that wakes you from sleep.
All right, let's go on to Cancers. The 12th house for Cancers. And as someone who's been through the whole seven years of Uranus in my 12th when it was in Aries, I can say that because the 12th house is a place of unconsciousness. If you think about who you are, it's like a light. Every light it's directed, there'll be a shadow, like the sun casts light onto the trees, and then the trees cast a shadow.
So the shadow of who you are and of what you can't see, that's kind of occluded by your current understanding of life and reality itself. What lives in the most intimate, personal space of shadows connected to you as a living being exists in the 12th house, and Uranus is going to fling open the doors and pour light into that area so that you can start to see it.
So over the next seven years, things are going to happen suddenly to really make you aware of spaces that you could not previously understand or see within yourself and within your current understanding of reality as it's tied to your self-concept. For example, a very basic example for Cancers: if you are really caring and emotional, you may have experiences that help you detach and see things more rationally, because that's harder for you, and the Gemini space exists in your shadow.
So a healthy degree of rational detachment may be coming because you become more objectively aware of things that you simply couldn't see before, because of how an emotional way of seeing and living casts its shadow. You can always look at the 12th house like that relative to any rising sign. But whatever is getting stirred up in the unconscious that you need to see so that you can grow as a person, so that you can see more of what is real about you and about reality, is going to come pouring in through disruptive events. These are disruptive events that make you go, oh my gosh, I never saw that before.
All right, if you are a Leo rising, then Uranus is pounding on the door of friends and communities and socially defined versions of success and happiness, dreams that you have that connect you to the outer world, groups that you belong to, friendship circles, colleagues. The 11th house, remember, is a comical house, which means it is about bliss and happiness, but it's bliss and happiness connected to the social civic arena tied to things like career, influence, power, popularity, esteem, wealth, power, status.
A lot of those things exist in the 11th house as they do in the 10th, but it's also anyone and everything that supports the external connections in the world that give you some measure of belonging and happiness. And so what Uranus is going to do for Leos in this house is pound on the door and say there's going to be a shake-up in who you feel you connect with, in why you connect with certain people, in different kinds of groups or friendships, in different kinds of ways.
You're redefining what happiness or success looks like out in the world. Your new dreams are coming in and establishing long-term visions and perhaps new people or groups or communities that come with them. But the revolution is that the status quo with respect to how you're defining social belonging and happiness, groups, friends and communities, is going to completely shift and change. There's a revolution, a lightning rod being struck, being set into the ground there.
All right, let's go forward to Virgos. If you're a Virgo, then Uranus is entering the 10th house. Now, the 10th house is the place of career, and so the pound at the door, the thing that's rousing you from slumber, that's making you come alive and awake and off the last plateau you've been on, that's happening in the space of career. So that could mean that your career direction is about to change, or that what you do or the way in which you do it is going to change.
People, projects, the workplace is about to change because it's ready to evolve somehow, rapidly and sometimes suddenly and unexpectedly. New things will come into your life that you become interested in, and maybe you even want to change career directions entirely. Now, the other thing that can happen is just the subjects that you get interested in that start informing your career become a lot more eccentric, erratic, interesting.
I was recently, you know, I've used this recently and kind of joking around with people, from what Mala said on one of our monthly overviews, which was like, it's like David Bowie entering your house. David Bowie is entering your career house. It's kind of funny to think about it that way. Well, Uranus in this house is also disrupting how you understand the world, because this really is not just the marketplace and the space of vocation. It's about influence and power and the authorities that rule and hold sway over the civic and social populations of planet Earth.
So Uranus in this house is also shifting your orientation and perspective with respect to that public and civic domain. That could mean that your sense of where you belong or where you fit in in the world is also going to shift or change rapidly. So for Virgos, you watch for that.
For Libras, we're talking about this awakening. And again, the knock at the door that rouses Hilda from her sleep, the plateau you've been on that you're ready to evolve and keep climbing beyond, is the place of beliefs, of religion and spirituality. This is a dharma house that is ideally meant to help us understand the nature of truth, capital T. That doesn't mean we can ever fully understand or grasp, just like we said at the beginning, we're limited.
But paradigms, philosophy, beliefs, religion, spirituality, learning, study, the higher mind, education, sometimes even spiritual pilgrimage or travel abroad that expands and evolves you rapidly. Your beliefs are changing. And it could be also that there's a period of experimentation and even flip-flopping that has to happen, and deconstruction and deep questioning of long-held traditions or beliefs. But the evolutionary impulse is around belief systems and belief structures.
So for Scorpios, Uranus is in the eighth house, the place of karmic contracts in life. We are meant to be attached: attached to other people, attached to a body. Life is attachment. But in order for us to evolve, we also have to go through periods where we detach. You detach from your mother. You detach from your home when you go off and live on your own. If there is an unhealthy marriage, you may have to detach from that.
So the eighth house is a placement of attachments and detachment, and that process is the transformation of attachments and entanglements and detachment and disentanglement, for better or worse, is found here. That's why it's associated with death, because we're attached to our bodies and will be detached at death. That's why it's associated with transformation, because attachment and detachment can broadly be described as a process of transformation. It's an alchemy that happens in the eighth house.
And your life is ready to be completely revolutionized through new attachments and bonds forming and disentanglements occurring as well. And there will be very powerful versions of this over the next seven years.
Now for Sagittarius, Uranus is moving into the seventh house of marriage and relationships. And so the plateau that you have reached, the current space of what is in relationships, is ready to take a massive leap forward. There is an impulse to leave the comfort of familiar, established patterns or habits or people or relationship dynamics for the sake of total revolutionary change.
That impulse to change doesn't necessarily mean that you have to leave someone. It doesn't necessarily mean that you suddenly have to get married, either. Those are options, but it can also be about changes happening within existing relationships to free them up or make them more conducive to growth. If a relationship isn't contributing to ongoing evolution, spiritually, psychologically, it becomes stagnant, and then Uranus comes along and says something has to change, because if elements of our lives are creating stagnation, then the natural thing that tends to happen this lifetime or the next is that pattern will be broken open.
So relationships are the subject and area of life, the bliss, the happiness, the intimacy, the sexuality, the connection with others that is interpersonal, is about to shift and change. That can affect anything from the dynamics of current partnerships to future ones. All right, so that's for Sags.
For Capricorns, this is in the sixth house. Now, all of us face hurdles in life. We all go through adversity. We all have obstacles that we have to flow around or find a way through or remove. We all have hardships, and we all have labor and hard work that are a part of accomplishing anything: difficulty, whether it's getting over a cold or a temporary setback, or the long labor we have to put in before we see the results of something. That natural feeling of work is a bit of a grind, a bit of a challenge to be overcome.
This is the sixth house. For Capricorns, the challenges that come up, the adversity you face, the work and sacrifice you have to put in, become the ground of personal revolution for the next seven years. So you have to pick your battles and your efforts and your sacrifices wisely. This will naturally bring your attention to things that are draining and stifling and creating a kind of almost like a feeling of enslavement. That's a word that was used to describe the sixth house traditionally.
Well, how do you emancipate yourself from patterns? You're not going to emancipate yourself fully from the chop wood, carry water nature of life, because it just is, but you can do something to make it lighter, to make it easier. And the challenges you pick that you endure through can be meaningful, and they can be meaningfully chosen or rearranged sometimes. But this is a process now of facing different kinds of adversity, but this is the kind of adversity that will liberate your soul and the work that will be worth it.
So for Aquarians, this is in the fifth house, a place of creativity, creative expression of your essence. So things like pregnancy and children and connection to our children as extensions of us creatively are found here, but also anything that constitutes creative outpouring and romance and happiness and the joy that comes from living creatively, romantically, even sexually.
So over the next seven years for Aquarians, you're going through a period that's about the rapid evolution of your creative voicing in the world, of the joy connected with living creatively, of your creative essence. If you have reached some kind of place of stagnation or stuckness with respect to things like joy and creativity, the next seven years is about awakening, opening, and letting more of that flow, and finding where there are blocks that need to be removed creatively.
So that joy, happiness, sensual fulfillment on some level, this is the joy of Venus. The fifth house is so all of that can be opened more deeply and meaningfully while Uranus is in this house. It is a time of creative revolution and of creative freedom.
All right. Finally, for Pisces, we're looking at the fourth house, the place of roots, home and family. So this is like the foundation of your house. Sometimes they have shows where they pick up a house and then they put it on these huge trucks, and they literally move a house. I've never understood how that works. It seems crazy to me. I can barely pick up a Lego set for my kids without messing up the whole thing. But you know what I mean?
This is revolution at the roots: foundations, home, family karma, parental karma, your upbringing. There is revolution happening here that can awaken, that can liberate, that can free. And anything that's been stagnant around home, family, roots, parental karma, property, your living space is ready to be uprooted. There may be some elements of upheaval.
The other thing that Uranus can do here is shift the inner landscape. If the fourth house is home and property, it's kind of like the bedroom of the birth chart. This is where my bed is, my closet, my clothes, and the place where I rest. But it's also that interior, private space. And so what you discover inside of yourself in a more private, intimate sphere, what's awakening in that sphere, can also extend out into things like home and family environment, the karma that you're excavating from your ancestors, from your parents, from your upbringing. The healing that might need to be done in some of those areas could be quite profound.
So shake-up at the roots. The knock at the door is in this intimate, private, domestic sphere, so to speak, and that can affect everything from marriage and family dynamics. So that's what you want to watch for.
All right. Well, that's what I've got for you guys today. I thought it would be fun to look at this from the standpoint of what is Uranus going to disturb over the next seven years for the sake of growth, so we get off the plateau. That's a fun way of looking at it from my point of view, anyway. I hope it was interesting.
That's it for today. I'm going to sign off and tell you next about the year one program, which is coming up at the end of June. I would love to study with you guys. Come join the community. We have a great, vibrant community of really cool people. I feel like we attract the best. And it's not just a solo learning experience at Nightlight. We've got a community of teachers, tutors, inside and outside of class, resources, community spaces, as well as just, I think, an awesome curriculum.
It's all live. You can watch the recordings at your own pace, or you can be there live. But we teach live. We don't just do pre-recorded stuff. So anyway, hope to see some of you there. Check it out. We'll see you again tomorrow. Bye.
