Hey everyone. This is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology [https://nightlightastrology.com/].
Today we are going to take a look at the upcoming conjunction between Venus and the sign of Taurus and Uranus in Taurus. This conjunction is happening at the final anaretic degree of Taurus, and so it carries some weightier significations that have a lot of history behind them. I'm going to give you five things to watch for today with that in mind. So I hope that this will be enjoyable.
Tomorrow, we're going to do horoscopes on the Venus Uranus conjunction. And these horoscopes will also reflect on the past seven to eight years of having Uranus in Taurus. So we'll do some horoscopic work on the same topic. Tomorrow, we'll round out the week with a guest on the Fourth of July, who will be here giving some horoscope and tarot card pulls for Uranus entering Gemini, which happens next week.
And really that that big shift will be the focus of next week, after we look at this culminating moment for Uranus at the end of Taurus. So that's our agenda for today. Before we get into it, as always, remember to like and subscribe. We have done some research and found that there are a lot of people who watch regularly but are not yet. But are not yet subscribed. Takes a second to do so, and it really helps us grow. We appreciate it.
You can find transcripts of any of these daily talks on my website, which is Nightlight astrology.com. Check out all of our readings and courses. We have four years worth of professional curriculum, a monthly Moon circle. We have master classes every year, in person, events, monthly webinars, Speaker Series, all sorts of good stuff that you can check out over there when you are there right now.
The only thing I'm promoting today, go to the events page. Click on live talks. You will see that on July 10, I'm giving my next webinar on the ninth house. This was a house that is in Indian astrology, associated with some of the best, subjectively best, good karma that you have in this lifetime. Why and why and how is that also connected to things like religion, spirituality, higher learning. We're going to talk about this in this in this month's upcoming webinar. So I hope to see you there.
When you register, you'll get the link to attend the webinar on July 10. But if you can't attend live, you get the recording replay link afterwards, so you will be able to watch it and keep it in on like this online. We use Thinkific so everything's housed there. You can keep any talks, any classes you take with us, are all housed there. So get to keep that and watch it whenever you want.
So anyway, on that note, let's turn our attention to the real time clock and we're coming in. Let me just get this set up here, Wednesday, July 2. Here we go. All right. Okay, here we go. So you can see right now in the sky forming is the conjunction between Venus and Uranus in the sign of Taurus. We take this forward just a little bit. That conjunction will be exact, Friday, July 4.
Now I have a guest. I'm going to be away with family, uh, on Friday, but I have a guest who is coming in. She's a kind of a visionary psychedelic artist named toad. She's come on the show before. It's been a while, but she does really fun kind of intuitive tarot card reading. So I had her come on as a guest to do horoscopes for Uranus into Gemini, that will take place on Friday.
So today and tomorrow, we are prepping for Friday's conjunction between Venus and Uranus at this last degree of Taurus, which will happen early Friday morning, July 4. That's central time here, around 7am then Venus immediately shifts into the sign of Gemini, Friday into Saturday. And then we're going to see that by Monday, Uranus will also shift into Gemini.
So Venus's conjunction with Uranus is sort of ushering Uranus across the threshold into the new sign of Gemini. We're going to think about that today as we delineate this transit, this conjunction between the two planets, and what it might mean. And tomorrow, we'll do horoscopes for all 12 signs that act as a reflect back on what we've learned in this whole sign house, that Uranus and Taurus has been traveling in for the past seven, eight years, since 2018 but we'll also kind of think about that those horoscopes tomorrow in terms of the conjunction between Venus and Uranus as well.
So today, we're sort of setting ourselves up for that. We're going to give you the five things to watch for. Now these five things to watch for are never really in any order, like most important to least, or anything like that. They're just five things that if we turn that archetypal jewel of whatever planetary combination we're looking at, you're likely to see one of these things reflected back in your experiences over this time period now, in no particular order.
Number one, this moment could very well serve as a kind of finality or a culminating moment, as I like to say, the 20. Ninth degree is an anaretic degree. It's a it's a degree that marks the finishing or completing of a process. That is why tomorrow we're going to be doing horoscopes to look at the totality of Uranus is transit in our birth charts, but Venus hitting a conjunction to Uranus just days before Uranus changes signs, and right as Venus changes signs, could mean that what we're looking at is a kind of final breakthrough for Venus.
Now, the reason that I focus on Venus here is that Venus is the ruler of the sign of Taurus, and therefore has been the host of Uranus journey through Taurus since 2018 May, when it first entered. So one way of thinking about this final conjunction between Venus and Uranus before Uranus changes signs, is that this reflects a kind of final shift for things that are Venusian.
Now that's going to be specific to a particular topical Arena in life that we will be looking at through horoscopes. But broadly speaking, Venus represents things like love, relationships, beauty, pleasure, style, harmony, sisters, women, friends. Venus, in our lives, can represent so many different things, but this may be a moment this week, this next couple of days, where something that has a lot of history behind it is reaching a final moment of transformation, a final moment, a final word, a final breakthrough, a final shift in perspective that has been in the process for quite some time.
It's been in the making, I should say, for some time. The process reflected by planets conjoining at the final degree of a sign is always a lot weightier, because there's an implication that a planet having gone through an entire sign is reflective of an entire process. So again, one very basic way of thinking about this in the next couple of days is that this is a big, kind of culminating moment, a kind of grand finale for Venus and Uranus together.
Uranus has been in Venus's sign these seven, eight years. So think about it from that perspective. Look at how any shifts that are happening carry with them the weight of a long, slow process that's been taking place in the Taurus ruled area of your birth chart, and also with respect to anything Venusian, again, think beauty, style, friendship, sensuality, pleasure, happiness, relationships, love, intimacy, sexuality, style, appearance, even Venus often has to do with things like our our our happiness and our pleasure as it is, rooted and expressed in our bodies.
So final breakthrough for Venus, number two, would be that this moment reflects a major shift in our lives. Elementally, I've been thinking a lot about the elements lately, and this, to me, is a great moment to explore what it might mean for Uranus to be shifting from Earth and into air. Venus accompanies Uranus. In that transition, she will change into the sign of Gemini Friday Uranus by Monday.
So it is as though Venus and Uranus together are signaling a shift of some kind in some area of our lives, or broadly speaking, from earth to air. What might that look like? Well, there could be like, I would say, broadly speaking, we might be going through a time where things have been relatively fixed. Taurus loves, routines, habits, security. And those are all we could say, um, earthy values in the sign of Taurus, right?
What does the routine look like that creates a sense of stability, security, comfort, ease, pleasure, safety. Even this May this re the shift from earth to air may reflect more changeability, a shifting of perspectives or an openness, a curiosity, a playfulness, less rigidity, more innovation, more experimentation. Uranus is already that way, but has been held in check somewhat by the fixed, earthy, practical and sort of methodical nature of a fixed earth sign.
So could this moment between Venus and Uranus at the end of Taurus also be ushering us from earth to air, with respect to more fluidity, more curiosity, more openness, more playfulness, more experimentation? I wouldn't be surprised to see that happening mirrored some way in for the long term, shift of Uranus into Gemini, but mirrored some way in what happens over the next couple of days, there could be a with respect to the forms that Venus likes, suddenly, rather than one form, there are many a double bodied Air sign tends to enjoy or. For multiplicities or many versus something relatively more fixed or singular.
So also, like just opening to a plurality of pleasure, a plurality of people, a plurality of relationships. Not surprisingly, Venus Gemini, often associated with polyamory, not saying everyone, everyone's gonna become polyamorous overnight, but it's that. It's that kind of openness to a variety of perspectives or a variety of different experiences or tastes or pleasures or values or styles that may be taking place, and you could almost see it marked by certain small kind of, kind of little moments over the next few days, um, I could see a shift in communication or perception, or the mental framing of Venus taking place in the sign of Taurus.
It's, it's an earth sign. It's very practical. It, um, it could. It could be the kind of thing where we're we're suddenly thinking about something very differently, or open our mind, opening our minds to almost like a different perspective on something, or there's new fluid communication, or opening of perspectives or dialog about something that would be a really interesting thing to watch for.
We could also see new desires, attractions or pulls, magnetic like Venus is taking place over the next three or four days, that sort of announce a shift from earth to air. Ooh, suddenly I'm moving from something that's been very stable into a variety of new kind of sparkly attractions that are pulling me out of the familiar and into less less familiar. Could also be that we suddenly care a little less about stability and are much more interested in flexibility and openness.
So anyway, all of these things that I'm kind of moving around some of the same ideas in different in different words, with different words, but it all reflects a shift from earth to air that we could see in the next couple of days. I would also say that one of the things that can happen is the shift from earth to air, put in a slightly more specific way, might be seen as a change of form or function.
One very interesting little detail, and I'm going to pull this up on the screen again so I can show you is that these two planets, Venus and Uranus, conjoining at the final degree of Taurus are in the bound of Mars, while meanwhile, Mars in Virgo is in the bound of Venus, and the two see each other from the perspective of a whole sign trine with Venus in the superior position.
This, to me, seeing a kind of mutual reception through Trine through earth, could mean that there's a kind of a revolutionary shift. Maybe it's been a long time coming. Maybe it's got the momentum of a long history behind it at this 29th degree, but it finally brings about a change of form or function. It's as though the purpose for which something is being used or the purpose that it serves is shifting or being realized in some way, or a form or a function, is shifting significantly, maybe opening up spaces in our lives that haven't been open, that could be reflected in the shift to air that closely follows.
It's funny to me, though, because there's a very clear way in which there's something kind of practical and effective that's shifting or being realized. You could say, through the mutual reception by bound that Venus and Mars have, I could again, I would see this as like a very practical shift of form or function that then facilitates greater experimentation, freedom, flow, etc. So watch for this to be kind of like a very practical, earthy moment of breakthrough that maybe dovetails very nicely into some form of flexibility or some more adaptive open, openness that follows.
Well, this is so effective that it created more space, more time, more of an arena for experimentation, change of form or function, though broadly speaking. Now anytime Venus and Uranus get together, we have the basics, the textbook, basics, esthetic, sensual, artistic, relational, revolutions. By revolution, what we mean is really a shift or a turn that's sudden, quick, sometimes a little bit erratic or disruptive with Uranus, but often facilitating breakthrough of energy that's been stuck or stagnant, a sudden shift.
Shift that frees things up, or often where there's been a feeling of being stuck or blocked, suddenly things are flowing. Also the sudden disruptive nature can be about the disruption of values, esthetics, pleasure, relationships. So don't be surprised if things shift rather suddenly, and with this 29th degree, it may pack a little bit more of a punch than a typical Venus Uranus dynamic, which is already strong.
But then add in that anaretic degree, and you might have any of the following Venusian forms of revolution just being a little bit stronger and more impactful than usual. Finally, impatient, impulsive and erratic experiences. This This is always a Be careful of watch for this. You know, kind of be careful to temper any real reactive energies so Venus Uranus conjoining can bring up, you know, something's attractive, and I act on the impulse so quickly, so suddenly that I end up creating chaos in my life.
Venus Uranus, dynamics are quite common when, rather than addressing a problem in a relationship, someone chases an affair with without, you know, considering the consequences. And you know, maybe I need to talk to my spouse, and if things are able to be worked out, then great. And if they're not, then I can move forward in a way that's clear, rather than impatient and trying to jump from one thing to the next without resolving the thing that I'm stuck on.
So that real, that real like impatient energy. I'm not trying to preach to people about what they ought to do morally or what I was just I've seen that scenario enough, and then people end up regretting later that they didn't slow down and use that revolutionary impulse to create a breakthrough where it's most needed, but because something's stuck over here, I'll jump to something over here.
It's very common in Uranus oppositions, for example, during the midlife to say, Oh, I'm feeling stuck in my life purpose. So I'll go buy a car, right? It doesn't solve the problem. That's the point. So be careful of the impatient, the impulsive and the erratic nature of the contact between these two planets. There's no, I think there's no reason to believe this can't be a very creative and fruitful and sort of dynamic, fun, revolutionary energy.
An impulse, is not always something that needs to be controlled. Sometimes it's something that just needs to be trusted. But we can know the difference if we listen inwardly and use our discernment. It's important not to forget discernment, even when enjoying the presence of an appearing creative impulse. So we can do both anyhow, these are five things to watch for today.
I hope that they're helpful. Tomorrow, we'll do horoscopes, and we'll reflect back on what this final breakthrough for Venus might mean, given the seven years of Uranus in the whole sign house of Taurus in our charts. So some horoscopes in coming. I hope that you are having a great day today and a great week, and we will see you again tomorrow. Bye.
