Hey everyone, this is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology. Today, we're going to take a look at the new moon in the sign of Capricorn, which is coming up this week; we're going to look at it from the standpoint of not only the sign of Capricorn that the new moon falls in but also a number of contextual factors surrounding the new moon, that also play an important role in the shaping of this lunation cycle and its themes. So that's our goal for today.

Okay, so let's take a look at the new moon. I've got a bunch of different factors we're gonna be looking at this week for the new moon that I have written down in a list; I think there are seven of them. So here's the new moon in the sign of Capricorn, and let's take a look at a couple of the features. We'll just sort of preview them. So here's the moon in the sign of the new moon in the sign of Capricorn. This new moon is, therefore, in the domicile of Saturn, the exultation of Mars. It is in the third Deccan, which we're going to look at briefly, and then it's also in the bound of Venus.
So those are all the dignity factors that play a role in this lunation cycle. So other important details that are happening right at the time of the full moon would be Mars connecting with Jupiter exalted Mars and Capricorn connecting with Jupiter in Taurus and a trine just after Jupiter has turned direct. That's an important detail. The other thing that's important about this lunation cycle is if we take this lunation cycle all the way up to the full moon, which will be in Leo, then one important detail is that that full moon will happen with a T square taking place.
Here is the T square that's happening at the time of the full moon to Jupiter in Taurus. That Full Moon is something that you may remember Alex and I explored in the horoscopes for this month. You could go back and listen to the horoscopes for January if you want a breakdown of that full moon, which is, you know, a really significant full moon as well because of the ingress of Pluto into Aquarius.
So you can see that Pluto and the Sun cross into Aquarius right around the time of the full moon, which makes it an extra potent full moon that marks the aggressive Pluto into Aquarius.
The other thing is that this is a new moon that's in the third Deccan. I think I might have mentioned that. So there's a story that goes along with the Deccan that we'll be looking at. I have a little bit of information on the fact that this is a new moon that comes within a degree of the fixed star Vega. My Master Class series this winter includes four classes looking at how to begin working with the fixed stars in your natal chart practice. So, I thought it might be fun to include some fixed stars this month and some of our analyses. So those are some of the things we're going to be looking at as a way of understanding what this cycle is all about.
Let's begin by just starting with some of the basics. This is a new moon in a Saturn Mars-ruled sign. We say that because the domicile ruler Saturn with the exultation ruler is Mars, and it's important to note that Mars is actually in the sign of its exultation, which gives this new moon a very, very martial flavor, especially because at the time of the new moon you also see that Mars is applying in a trine with Jupiter in Taurus. So a very powerful earthy trine between the benefic Jupiter who's just turned direct and exalted Mars. What does that mean? Right? We're going to be looking at that, along with some of the third Deccan symbolism.
I think that there are some really interesting things that we can say about this signature around the time of the new moon. But to start with a new moon in Capricorn, By the way, Pluto is also culminating at the last degree of Capricorn in this moon cycle. So that's another signature that we'll be looking at here. So one of the features of Mars and Saturn when they work together in Capricorn, remember right now we have Mars and Saturn also configured to one another in a sextile. Mars and Capricorn, Saturn, and Pisces are sextile in one another Bible sign in degrees.
So, it is a very powerful collaboration between those two energies in the cycle. It's nice that Saturn's in a watery sign gives it a little bit mean so much Earth in Capricorn can be, I don't know, a little steely, you know, a little heavy there's, there's a weightiness to Capricorn, as you probably all know, that often, you know, signals things like responsibility, duty, authority, achievement through persistent hard work discipline, you know, and those are great qualities, especially when you need to get things done, where you need to take a big step in terms of maturity, growth, discipline, or focus, you need more of that this is a new moon that can give those kinds of things to you.
But you know, it's Saturn in Pisces, nicely configured with Mars at the opening of the cycle, brings a little bit of a romantic, emotional, empathetic sensitivity; it brings with a kind of wisdom that's come through maybe grief or suffering in the past, it comes through not wanting to miss how things feel, in addition to looking at the practical details of what needs to get done, or what needs to be accomplished.
It's not just, you know, put your nose to the grindstone and work hard and get a lot done, which is, you know, one of the most powerful things probably about this new moon is the amount of, you know, practical pop, so to speak, it's like wow, Mars and Jupiter configured to one another and earth signs, you can really get some things done, you can move sort of move a mountain feeling behind this new moon.
But Saturn in Pisces also says like, make sure you're moving the right one; make sure you're taking time to feel what you're doing. Bring emotional sensitivity and maturity to bear on the situation because you don't want the kind of ruthlessness that is the shadow of Capricorn to take over.
So a little bit of emotional tact sensitivity, the learning that's maybe happened in our lives because of, you know, more painful things that we've experienced that we can bring to bear on the constructive use of earthy energy in this cycle.
So I think that's probably one of the things to notice right away is that this cycle is about action, productivity, it's about moving Earth, which usually means physical, tangible changes are being made, where you go from an ideal level of visioning something to a practical level of implementing something, Earth usually means that within the cycle, actual things will change not just ideas, intentions, feelings, thoughts. It's a cycle when Earth is involved, where there's a translation into the changing of material things into new forms or into progressing something materially working on something materially.
So, again, just a quick observation: the new moon and Saturn and Mars are signs with the sextile between exalted Mars and Capricorn and Saturn in Pisces suggests that we don't want to just move or work or produce or take action and effect change for the sake of doing it. But with some degree of, you know, emotional wisdom and maturity that comes with having learned things that may be in the past that we're now bringing to bear on the cycle.
The other thing that I think is really important to notice is I'm going to jump around here a little bit on my list; actually, let's just focus on this one more time. So when you have this kind of a trine from Mars to Jupiter, remember, Jupiter's just turned direct, and this is a Jupiter that's also featured very powerfully at the time of the full moon. Remember what we said about the last moon cycle, which was in Sagittarius, we said that this moon cycle has to do with a reorientation of values, beliefs, and the systems or structures of order that shape and grant coherence and unity to our life. That's, that's Jupiterian structure. There's different kinds of structure. It's not like we can. I kind of gave some talks last month where I said, Look, Saturn doesn't have the market cornered on structure. Jupiter offers a lot of structure.
For example, when you think of the institutions in our society of morality, law, justice, government, religion, and education, those are all ideal institutions of Jupiter. Now, there's always a conversation between Jupiter and Saturn when it comes to the shifting of orders, ages, structures, and institutions, but properly speaking in their ideal form, our beliefs, ideals, and how they take shape in the world to grant some kind of coherence to our social experience. That's Jupiter. That's Jupiter's domain. Jupiter would be like the ideal of fairness or joy. justice or individual rights or the ideal society and how it should be run as a way of maintaining unity; those are all Jupitererian things.
When Mars is exalted in Capricorn, it wants to, it has a very, you know, at its worst, it's almost like machismo, it's such a powerful Mars. But this is also a Mars that's exalted in a feminine sign, and it really wants to affect change. Physically, tangibly, it says, I want to do things that make actual change. You know, when you have Mars in a fire sign like Sagittarius, so much of the change is happening on the level of vision and intuition. Fire was an element that was associated with the will, and Jupiter ruled fire sign we've just gone through a period of time where we faced the we faced adversity when it came to our ideals, our values or, beliefs, or visions. That's what fire is all about.
In ancient astrology, you shift out of a fire sign and into an earth sign, and as you remember, Mars was in Jupiter's sign. Jupiter is turned direct. Now Mars is connecting with that recently turned direct Jupiter and an earth sign, and it says the values are ready to be instantiated in actual things, and so you hear me say that in so many different ways with the cycle, but Mars exalted trining Jupiter is about beneficial actions, that accord with new values that are seeking expression in the actual material circumstances of our lives.
So it's about having the wind at your back and some momentum going to take actions that actually are integrations or instantiations of the kind of shift of vision or values that have been taking place over the past month or so, and it's a strong energy coming through at the time of a new moon, that's also in the last Deccan of Capricorn, which we'll talk about in a little bit. So just that kind of, like, you know, it's it really is like you have some power tools that you're, you're trying to build something cool like a, you know, like a deck where you can sit out in the summer and you know, play music or meet and talk with friends, it still requires that you cut some wood and lay down some lumber and build a you have to build the deck and so I if the change in values is like well gosh, Jupiter in Taurus, I'd love to have a beautiful deck and, or a garden or something, it's like, well, you're gonna have to move some earth, you know. So the energy is there to start doing that right now, and that's what's really exciting about this cycle.
Now, let's jump back to my second point, which I kind of again like you never know if I'm going to follow my order exactly. But the New Moon in the term of Venus, Venus, and Jupiter sign Jupiter just turned direct, and Venus will soon enter Capricorn. Let's explain that slowly so it makes sense.
So, the new moon is taking place at 20 degrees of Capricorn, which falls into the term of Venus. So there's also a strong consideration for Venus during this cycle, and we know that because Venus is also in Jupiter's sign, while Venus Jupiter is in Venus's sign, and the bounds of Venus and we know that Jupiter plays a huge role in this cycle by virtue of being in the T square with the full moon and remember, at the beginning of the cycle, Mars is also trining that Jupiter.
So you look at these, these little connections, or it's sort of like a spider's web of connections behind any moment in astrology, but especially at new moons, you want to pay attention to what features of the web are kind of connecting and lighting up. It's like there are certain patterns that are going to light up more than others. This new moon, although it's really strongly in the, you know, it's sort of more strongly a Mars and Saturn kind of deal, but it is in the bounds of Venus, and we also see that at the outset of the cycle, Venus is in the sign of Jupiter, well Jupiter's in the sign and bounded Venus.
So there's a strong, actually kind of subtle at first, but a strong role that Venus starts playing in the overall cycle. We'll see this when we talk about the fixed star Vega as well, which is interesting. But anyway, if you take this forward just a little bit. Remember, Jupiter has just turned direct, and Venus is in Jupiter's sign. So there's a way in which Venus is also sort of collaborating with Jupiter through this cycle.
Now, let's take a look at what happens if we move this cycle forward just a little bit. Venus is soon going to enter Capricorn, and not surprisingly, it does so just before the full moon now it as it; enters; the reason I say not surprisingly is because the full moon is going to strongly feature Jupiter, who is in Venus's sign and term, and Venus will then be configured to Jupiter in a trine, and Venus will be in Capricorn, the sign of the new moon. So what that means is that this is not just about moving Earth.
If you start off with the reason I use the image of like I'm building a deck that I can sit on with friends, and you know I play music or talk or sit out under the stars during the summer, or I'm building a beautiful garden that I can work in and, you know, grow things that are not only beautiful but useful. Gardens can feature herbs, plants, and flowers, and they can also feature vegetables.
There's a way in which the cycle seems to point toward productivity and tangible results, like, you know, setting a foundation, putting the bricks down for the beds, playing the lumber down to build the deck. But behind whatever you're building is a Venusian intention, and that's Jupiter, also being in the sign of Venus and the bound of Venus, and then Venus, practically speaking, Venus enters Capricorn and then starts trying Jupiter, and we know that the other thing that's really fascinating about this is that Saturn, one of the major rulers of the New Moon is also in the exultation of Venus and this is just little connections, you don't have to like, if it feels like galaxy brain, you know, don't worry about it. But these are just little connections to notice.
Saturn is in the exultation of Venus and also the bounds of Venus, well being configured to Jupiter, who's in the sign of Venus and the domicile of Venus, and then Venus enters Saturn sign and is configured to Saturn and configured to Jupiter. So, in other words, put that all very simply, this is not just about productivity and building or changing structural material things like the skeleton or bones or outline or the joints or something like that. This is also about changing material things that have a very close relationship to Venusian values; the shift in values has been about including Venus from the beginning because Jupiter is in Venus's sign.
A shift or reorientation of beliefs, ideals, and visions in our lives, according to Jupiter in Taurus, has to do with what is sensual, what is beautiful, what is stable, what is enjoyable and secure, peaceful and luxurious but also affords the degree of stability. So, a deck that's stable and well-built. But that's meant to host friends and, you know, you know, eating hors d'oeuvres under the moon and playing your music together. But this is what comes to my mind: building a bonfire pit. It requires stone and work and clearing land, but then you want to sit around that bonfire and talk, you know, or a garden, things like that these are, these are the images that come to my mind, but fill in the blank, right?
The idea is that the cycle is about building things that also are informed by a vision of beauty and enjoyment and sensual pleasure and luxury, and maybe some kind of stability, or peaceful reliable security, and so that's a big part of kind of what's going on here in this cycle with Venus, new moon in the term of Venus, Venus and Jupiter sign Jupiter just turned direct Jupiter in the bound and sign of Venus, and then Venus entering Capricorn right before the full moon and trining Jupiter while sextiling Saturn and there's so much affinity between Jupiter, Saturn, and Venus. So it's like the things that we're building are really in Venus's name, and it's a sight that seems kind of subtle.
But overall, you just can't underestimate how much the vision of practical progress is being informed this month by things that are Venusian. So, very sensual quality behind the energies of this moon cycle.
Now, number four on my list is the fact that the full moon will be in that T square to Jupiter, and it sort of just goes to show that we're still talking about some of the exact same things.
So, let's look right here. So here is the, put it right back there. Here's the full moon it's in Leo. It's with, you know, Pluto having just changed signs, by the way. A very powerful signature that happens around January 20, and then we have the full moon in a square with Jupiter, and Jupiter is in. Remember, Jupiter is in the exultation of the moon.
So there's a nice coherence between the moon and Leo and Jupiter in Taurus, and again, what comes to my mind with the moon in Leo is the kind of quality of the maternal and the queenly energy; the moon and Leo are like a queen. It's regal and powerful, but it's also sensual and beautiful and maternal. It's matriarchal, and when you call that into alignment with Jupiter in Taurus again in Venus assigned in Venus, it is bound with Venus and Capricorn. You know, hitting the sextile to Saturn training Jupiter was so much reception between all of them. I get the feeling that the theme of the month again is really about empowering changes that are very practical but in the name of some very feminine values. Peace stability, what are we nurturing? What are we devoted to? What is enjoyable, what is beautiful, what essential would be stable and peaceful? Those are some of the things that are most profound.
Now, this also has to do, I mean, when Pluto is entering Aquarius, this is not just a small shift of values or visions that are, you know, I mean, in a sense, you know, when I give an image like building a deck or building a bonfire pit or building a garden, I'm thinking about earthly things that you know, like as a Taurus rising that I like, you know, gardens, decks, and friends with the bonfire, all that there's Venusian value and there's like actual landscaping that has to be done right.
But when I think about this full moon in Leo, I also think about moving into a space where you feel like you have well; let me put it this way: my grandmother had a Leo moon; she was a Cancer sun with a Leo moon. Her kitchen, she ran it, like, kinda like a military commander. Right. But like a matriarchal military commander, you never felt like it was. It was warm and bright, and like it always smelled good, and it was like a beautiful ship she was running. She was a little queen in the kitchen. I say that because she was very short and actually happened to have been born on her birthday, by the way, on July 16.
But anyway, and I just, I'll never forget, though, as a kid being in that kitchen and being like, she is in charge here. This is like her domain, and she's very much like the queen of the space, and she, I mean, she like she can things. She made pies, she was like, and not only that, but she had a great relationship with the land, too, like she tended an apple orchard that she was, you know, involved in, they kept bees, and they had a Christmas tree farm, and she was very much someone who liked to work on the land, too.
Anyway, my point is that there was a sense of this being an opulent kind of kitchen garden, and she was the queen of that space. The changes that we're trying to make, the structures that we're trying to build are Venusian, and it's also about coming into a greater sense of, like, a relational domain that you feel like you can relax in and more easily and naturally express some degree of authority but not a patriarchal masculine authority, it's more of a power of the queen is like the power of a host, I'm here to provide to nurture to create this kind of flowing, sustainable, beautiful space within which to enjoy connect, and, you know, be in your body, and things like that.
So this Leo Moon is really interesting as it's in the square with Jupiter, and reflecting so much of the Venusian values, the moon will be in the bounds of Jupiter, while Jupiter is in the bounds of Venus, and the exultation of the moon. So you can, you can just get the feeling that the tarot card that comes to my mind is like the nine of pentacles, which shows this woman just kind of luxurious and cleanly looking in a garden.
Or it reminds me a little bit of the Empress card, a card of feminine power, authority, fertility, richness, and so if you imagine, you know, like, what is the image of the bonfire create, not like, Oh, I'm the king of the bonfire. But more like, I'm the host of people coming over to my house and enjoying something in the space, there's still a kind of hosting power or a kind of like, I would say, like a, like a nurturing power that the moon reflects, we're trying to build something that is about stepping into a space of authority over what we are devoted to, and in relation to what we're devoted to. Something like that.
I hope that's not too abstract. But that's kind of what I'm seeing around this. I mean, why, what, what is so exciting about having a deck that you build is that you get to host people, and in that role of hosts, there's a kind of power that you have, but it's not, you know, it's not a weighty suppressive kind of power, or a controlling kind of power, which might be appropriate if you're like the, I don't know, the, the chief of a crew of builders or something. This is more like it's about creating space in which to exercise a kind of creative maternal relational power. So anyway, yeah, I love this.
Okay, so then, number five, the New Moon, is in the third Deccan. This is really interesting because the third Deccan, if I can just bring this up, shows us this guy. This is the card that's associated with the third deccan of Capricorn to the final 10 degrees of Capricorn and one of the things that I like I'm just going to read you here.
As we've observed previously, here in goat season, Capricorn is the day sign of Saturn, and where we find slow Saturn with his glacial geologic timescale, matters of time inevitably arise, delays time, consuming complications, 40-year mortgages. Time is The great gift he gives you whether you want it or not, but the sun ruler of the decade as a timekeeper, too, and the orphic him to Helios, we come across this line, roughly guide of good works bringing on the seasons.
If Saturn watches over the long-term cycles of our lives as we ease into maturity, the Sun watches over the short-term promises of each day and what we make of it; there's a connection between seizing the day and fulfilling the life. Let's try a financial metaphor. As everybody knows, the precious metal of the Sun is gold. Most commonly, the metal of Saturn is thought to be led, but you can find reference to it as gold as well. If you can hold on to your gold for long enough without disturbing it, it will grow, accumulating interest with each solar turning in the end.
You see how that, in that line, it's really about fostering something like this can either be a sign of possessiveness and greed, or it can be a sign that sometimes comes up when there's a need to carefully preserve and develop things as the starting point of like a foundation of something and the pika trixs. The image of this decade is that of a man holding a book which he opens and closes, and before him is the tail of a fish, and this is a face of riches, the accumulation of money, and the ascent of business affairs trending toward a good end. Fish signify many things in many traditions, but among them are commerce and luck; Agrippa describes a woman chased and body and wise in her work. So, you know, there's another image of a sort of feminine entrepreneurial power. A banker gathering his money together on the table, the signification of this is to govern and prudence and covetousness of money and in avarice.
So again, you could have kind of like a Scrooge in the last decade and some of this whole cycle. I mean, there's a fine line between the sort of building something where you can exercise the kind of matriarchal hosting, stewarding devotional relational power and something that you're building that, you know, it is really about the accumulation of riches, wealth, luxury indulgence, and things like that.
In these commentaries, two strands of meaning emerge, good stewardship, the wise handling of resources, and miserly tendencies or actual greed; the fear of scarcity may drive both, and indeed, the same financially conservative manager might be viewed by some as prudent others are stingy. The word bank comes to us through a long line of European variations on terms meaning bench in one of those rare cases where Romance languages took a cue from Germanic languages rather than Latin. The idea is that money changers historically did their work on a flat, stable surface resting on the ground.
So anyway, the keyword I use for four cards is gathering, and she goes on to say, and I'll tell you this author in a second, I think, I forgot to mention it. Four of pentacles gathering of material resources, arguably the most literal sense of gathering seen here, it's not only the accumulation of goods or capital by an individual, be they a sovereign or not, it's also the dependability of one's family there to fall back on in rough times and while the four of pentacles specifically focuses on steady monetary accumulation, its lesson goes beyond concerns of capital.
Some things in life can only be learned through experience, and you may not even realize you're learning them day by day; you take risks, you make mistakes, and you course correct. 10 or 20 years later, what you learn from that process has us most into your bones, and you call it common sense. For square and unmoving, the lord of power is safe as houses and worldly as the day is long. This, by the way, comes from a book that I've been reading. It's called 36 Secrets of Mechanic Journey through the Minor Arcana of the Tarot by T Susan Chang. It's a great book on the decades, an authoritative text, and really, I like that one along with Austin Coppock's 36 Faces.
There we go. So what I like that she's saying about this final decade of Capricorn is that it coincides with so many of the themes that we've been parsing out through the combinations of Mars to Jupiter, and the Venus-Jupiter combinations, and the Venus-Saturn connections. There's a lot of Venus in this cycle, sort of under the radar, as I've been hopefully describing, and what that means is it's about you either using your resources and effecting tangible or practical changes that are rooted in something beautiful, something sensual, and moving into a kind of sensual, embodied power and authority like I described with the deck the garden, the bonfire pit, or like my grandmother's kitchen or something like that and there's nothing wrong with that kind of power. But it can also lean into the power the space of, like, greed or were opulence and luxury meat control and pride, and so you want to be careful with that shadow and, and it's also about it's also about walking the line between building things that are beautiful and enjoyable.
That gives you a sense of pride because you care for them, and they are the spaces in which you can create meaningful human relations and connections and joy and happiness. But also, the things that we build or create or design may be there because we think that they will empower our sense of worth, and that might be coming from a space of undervaluing ourselves or not being fully aware of the shadows of our ego like vanity, pride, greed, etc. So, some really interesting themes.
I think it's also fascinating that this New Moon is conjunct Vega, which is something that I was spending some time with. Earlier today, let me pull it up. So I like Astrology King because that's a great website filled with fixed star lore, and I'm just going to share with you what Astrology King says about fixed star Vega. It's interesting that it's the fifth brightest star in the night sky. The traditional name Vega, earlier juega, comes from a loose transliteration of the Arabic word meaning falling or landing via the phrase the falling Eagle. According to Ptolemy, it's the nature of Venus and Mercury and of Saturn and trining to Jupiter from the earth signs, especially Capricorn and Taurus. Isn't that interesting? It gives beneficence ideas reality, hopefulness, refinement, and changeability, and it makes natives grave sober, outwardly pretentious, and usually lascivious is that who says the word anonymous of 379. One of the oldest texts that we have on Fifth Star lore says that Vegas is like Venus and Mercury.
It's fascinating to me that there's so much Venus in this cycle and that Venus and Mercury's combination was traditionally associated with things like attractiveness, wealth, success in the markets, good luck around money in business, and things like that. So the star Vega is one of the brightest stars in the heavens; it is definitely of the nature of Venus. It was said to be a particularly good omen when big when Venus was connected to Vega.
Arabic for the falling eagle, Vega is the principal star in the constellation constellation Lyra, the brightest fixed star of the northern sky, and has a Venus nature with a blend of Neptune and Mercury. I think this is interesting because one of the major things that happens in the cycle, which we'll talk about next, is that Venus, during the midst of the cycle, goes through a square to Neptune. This means that there's a sense of what the ideal beautiful thing is here and also what the responsible, mature way of creating the beautiful and sensual ideal is.
There are questions about opulence, wealth, and luxury and trying to create something that's really beautiful and then also maybe leaning into indulgence or greed. So the heart is like Venus and Mercury; it is said to give a harmonious political and develop nature fond of music, and apt in science and art. This is the constellation Lyra, which can also incline one to deception or theft. That's interesting. Just again, just like the deceptive part of our material desires. The leader is an airy constellation that has the most marked influence on weather.
It goes on to talk about that a little bit, but it is traditionally said to be of the nature of Venus and Mercury. Good fortune, happiness, gifts, fortunate for love, and marriage gains by legacy and inheritance goes on to talk about some of the connections to business, art, and opulence, materially speaking and sort of like good luck around business and money and things that are marketable, profitable and sensual and also a connection to the arts.
So again, I find that to be an absolutely subtle note to pay attention to because it amplifies the sense that although there's all this earthy energy, the landscaping is happening to build the garden, right? There's something about this that has to do with what we think of as beautiful and satiating, like what's going to please the senses and what gives us a rich sense of stable, fertile pleasure in our lives. All right, and then finally, this cycle also speaks to the maturation of Venus, which I've been talking about a lot, but the reason I say the maturation of Venus is because as the cycle goes on, we're going to see this very interesting dynamic, where Venus is square to Neptune right around January 19.
Venus is square to Neptune, and this is happening. Right? Isn't it interesting that this is happening as Mercury is also trying Jupiter a bunch of trines to Jupiter. We have the moon on this day, exalted in the sign of Venus. Venus is square to Neptune, right?
So it's a very like it's a very Venus the day around the 19th, and yet, one of the major significations of Venus Neptune has to do with what we desire verses where the impulse toward pleasure is perhaps deluding us or leading us astray and shortly after this Venus will enter Saturn's sign, while Saturn is in Venus's term and exultation and so there's this way in which the cycle points to the sort of over the top, starry-eyed romantic bliss, seeking energy of Venus, but also the maturity of that as we're looking at practical, tangible use of resources, not going to extremes not being too indulgent and not losing ourselves in a kind of covetousness or lust. How do we build something that's beautiful but also mature? How do we, you know, honor our desires and what we're doing and trying to build while also, again, not sort of going over the top somehow?
It is a fascinating cycle, and I hope that this analysis was useful for all of you. As we start here, don't forget this Thursday, we begin our roots and spheres Moon circle, we meet at the new moon, and we discussed the cycle, and then we also meet under the full moon, and we discuss the cycle, all of the aspects and planetary energies and then we pair them with plant teachers. So we have a plant teacher that we work with, and we diet every cycle, and as we do that, we also pair intentionally crafted rituals that you can do or not in your spare time as a way of spiritually focusing for the month along with the plant teacher.
We also have guided journaling that we suggest, and then we come into the group under the full moon, and we reflect and talk about how things are going and really learn from each other's stories. So, it's a really nice community space to learn, grow, and intentionally work with the energies of the moon cycle.
You can check it out on the website nightlightastrology.com. It's not too late to join. We start on Thursday evening. We meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, generally speaking from five to about or 530 to about 7:30pm Central Time or 6:30 to 8:30 Eastern and what; else, if you need a little help because you're hurting financially, check out the need-based tuition option on the website under the Roots and Spheres tab which is in the courses menu. We'd be glad to help you out with any questions. Email us info@nightlightastrology.com. I hope to see some of you there, and I hope you guys will have a very nice moon cycle ahead. Alright, that's it for today. Bye
