Hey everyone, this is Adam Elenbaas from nightlight astrology. Today, we're going to take a look at all 12 whole sign house horoscopes for this new Moon in Gemini. I've called these flash horoscopes because they are just meant to be brief reminders of the topics activated by the whole sign house according to your rising sign. This will help you locate the new moon in the topical areas of importance within your birth chart. So that is what we're going to be doing today. We talked about the New Moon in Gemini yesterday at length in terms of the overall archetypal signature of this moment; I highly recommend going and listening to that for a fuller treatment of the new moon. But today, we'll do some horoscope reminders.
So before we get into it, don't forget to like and subscribe and share your comments and reflections if you have a good story to share. We always love hearing from you guys. Transcripts of any of these daily talks can be found on the website nightlightastrology.com. A couple of things are coming up. One is my next webinar. If you go to the events page, click on live talks, and go down, you'll see the 12th house in the world we struggled to see on June 13. This is the next monthly webinar talk I'm giving from 7 to 9pm. Eastern time, if you can't make it live after you register, we will give you that live webinar link, but we will also send you a download link of the recording to watch later if you cannot attend live. But anyway, that is June 13. Seven to 9pm Eastern time, we're going to be looking at the 12th house in the natal chart and the potential for the healing that exists in our natal chart through the 12th house.
In particular, we're going to be looking at the relation between all of the 12 Rising signs and the 12th hole sign that occupies the 12th house. The juxtaposition between those two signs offers us a lot of insight into the specific kind of healing that exists for each of us in the birth chart. So I'm really looking forward to that one.
Then, in July, I'll give a talk on Uranus's entrance into Gemini. Last month, we looked at Neptune in Aries. If you go back before that, you'll see the outer planets series in love that I did. You can purchase any of those at the shop or on the live talks page. Go to the Courses tab. The first year of the course starts in June. The next course, Ancient Astrology for the Modern Mystic, our first-year program in ancient Hellenistic astrology, starts June 16. You can learn more about it on that first-year page.
At the bottom, you'll find payment options, including need-based tuition. So, if you really want to study in any of our programs but need help to do so, you can apply for tuition assistance and use our sliding scale. We make sure none of that astrological education is accessible to people. So go to the Courses page again, click on horary. This course also starts on June 22. After I signed off today, I tagged an informational video about the horary program.
If you have never learned about horary, you'll get a little introduction you'll see a horary reading. And you'll learn more about those upcoming classes well, which is great; you do need to have a little bit of a background in traditional astrology to take that one already, which you could get by starting with the year one program we offer horary every June once a year so it will be there next year to have you started with your one you could always jump into horary next year.
Also, if you already have a background in traditional astrology, you could certainly jump into horror. So anyway, that is it for our promotions today. Now, let us turn our attention to the real-time clock. We're going to do some flash horoscopes today. So right now, you will see that the new moon is here we are on Thursday, June 6; Venus is at the heart of the Sun, still just separating from Cazimi.
The New Moon is landing at 16 Gemini with a little bit of a square to Saturn, Mercury, and Jupiter are just coming off from a conjunction. The two planets have been training Pluto. So, this is a dynamic that we have been looking at already. We looked at it yesterday in depth. And again, I recommend listening back to yesterday's video if you want a full, you know, in-depth treatment of the signatures of the new moon. What we're going to do today is look at all the sign horoscopes.
So what I'm saying is these are going to be brief, just sort of quick takes on the house positions of the stellium in Gemini. And I'm going to make some connections with the whole sign house of Pisces because this new moon also squares Saturn, so I'm going to be connecting two houses, Gemini and Pisces, through all 12 whole sign house horoscopes and just giving you a sense of what topics may be in dialogue this month and these are meant to be just brief and sort of raising your attention and reminding you of what to watch for. Remember that everybody's birth chart is really different, and the specifics of the birth chart make this, you know, somewhat difficult to get super specific, which is really hard. So, think about the house topics being activated here.
Aries
All right. We'll start with Aries, where we have such a focus on the third house, the place of our everyday environment. This is a place of the mind and body as environment, but it's also the local environment around you. There's a lot of activity happening with the New Moon in Gemini in that third house. All of these planets have a square to Saturn in the 12th house, which is a place that often acts as a kind of unconscious blind spot. This unconscious blind spot offers us the potential for healing and insight if we are able to bring consciousness to what is unconscious.
So for Aries this month, while there's a lot, there's a lot of energy and stimulating mental and intellectual energy. And there's a sort of bustling quality with all of the Gemini planets in your third house. They're being checked by Saturn in Pisces on the 12th, which is asking you to consider what are the hidden or unseen dimensions or elements of what's happening right now. What sacrifices are required of me? What parts of myself might I be leaving behind? What parts of me or of other facets of life are asking for inclusion and not to be left behind? And that's hard to do when there's a lot of exciting, stimulating energy and people and ideas swimming around in the environment. So those are the basic qualities that I see for Aries.
Taurus
Let's move on to Taurus. So for Taurus, we see so much energy in the second house around money and the development or acquisition of resources or a shift in how you're managing money or assets or what you're cultivating or what you're growing or what you're building. The second house is a place where it's about what we have, but it's also about what we're growing, developing, or cultivating in terms of personal skills, assets, resources, abilities, and so forth.
So, Taurus' are trying; there's a lot of emphasis on building, growing, and developing things right now. And maybe a kind of abundant flourishing of energy around money, finances, and resources; there's definitely a lot there. However, at the same time, Saturn in Pisces in the 11th house is asking us to consider a weightier or heavier or more or even more consequential set of long-term dreams, plans, or goals.
Saturn in Pisces in the 11th house, at its best, is like the voice of wisdom telling us that the road ahead requires more than just quick, changeable, exciting, dynamic, new, useful energy; it requires maturity, long-term vision; it requires some level of sacrifice. And also, who are what do we feel beholden to? Like, what are we building? What are our resources? What are we trying to cultivate? And also, who is what do we feel obligated to in terms of larger collective or transpersonal visions or goals?
So the other thing that could be just a very simple explanation would be that allies, friends, groups, and people in our lives are asking us to sacrifice something at a time where we are trying to build and develop new things. And there are people who need to require something of us or of what we're building. And so we have to compromise or give something of what we have to other people.
Or maybe it's about drawing boundaries in terms of what we feel we have, what we can give to other people, and what we need to keep for ourselves. So those are some of the tensions I could see brewing for Taurus around the Gemini-Pisces axis. Because remember, Saturn offers a little bit of a check. It's either the voice of maturity checking us or it's the voice of, you know, something that's being it's like someone or something that's demanding something we maybe even have to say no to.
Gemini
All right, for Gemini rising, the importance lands in the first house, the important signature of all these Gemini planets in your first house. And then they're squaring with the Saturn in the 10th. So we're talking about the relation between identity, character development, your sense of selfhood, your body, and your health, and we're talking about obligations and responsibilities, which are the weightier qualities of Saturn in the 10th house of career or public reputation.
This is a time when you may be feeling like you're ready to experiment or get creative or playful with respect to who you are and how you show up in the world; there's a need to recreate yourself. Yet, the question of how you recreate yourself is intimately tied to Saturn's obligations or requirements in the career house or in the house of public reputation or professional calling. And so you are remaking yourself in relation to either what you feel is most held back or prohibited by, and you're just saying I can't be held back by Saturn any longer.
Or it might be that you're saying I have to recreate myself and find different avenues of expression or happiness or freedom or creativity while also meeting the obligations and responsibilities that I have in the world. But how are you negotiating that check from Saturn in the 10th house, as there's also this very busy creative energy that has you thinking about who you are and who you're becoming and how you need to change as an individual is how we change in relation to responsibilities and obligations, especially around the professional world. Those are some of the topics that come to mind for Geminis.
Cancer
All right, let's go on to cancer. So, for cancer, we're looking at the stellium of Gemini planets in the 12. The check from Saturn in the ninth. This is interesting because there's a conversation going on right now for cancer, risings, about your beliefs, your worldview, your unconscious blind spots, your philosophical or spiritual commitments, your faith or your lack of it, your doubts, your, your worries, or concerns with respect to your philosophical or spiritual paradigm. You know, we all go through periods where we have to adjust or modify our moral, philosophical, or spiritual outlook, or we learn something new. And that new learning offers us some kind of feedback about ourselves. And with that feedback, we can then start to bring some light to a place that has been unconscious.
So, for Cancers, I think about the process of making unconscious material conscious through spiritual, religious reflection, learning, or maybe something rather studious, on the other hand, questioning things actively doubting and starting to question old paradigms. And allowing yourself to be curious but not necessarily committed at the moment, may be what is called for right now as well. So I look, though, generally at the place of beliefs, learning higher education in the place of that kind of unconscious space of the 12th house, and they are in dialogue with one another this month.
Leo
Let's move on. So, for Leos, we're connecting on the 11th. The eighth, which is really about these two houses together, is really about social contracts, which are the people, places, and energies that we want to associate with because they help us get where we want to go. So much of the 11th house is about that. Who are my allies, who are my friends, and what kind of people in groups and connections are conducive to the realization of my dreams and ambitions? This is the traditional meaning of the 11th house; there's a lot of focus on that for Leos right now.
However, Saturn in the eighth is like a weighty reminder that with various relationships come different kinds of karmic obligations and requirements, almost like karmic taxations. You want to be free and light and find advantageous social connections, but Saturn in the eighth is saying it's not possible to have all of those, you know, kind of exciting social connections without there being sometimes like a heavier level of obligation or, or heavier emotional realities, and consequences that come with the people and groups of people that we align ourselves with.
So we're talking about social contracts, and which ones are freeing us up and which ones are weighing us down, and having to also be very discerning about that when we think about what kinds of people, places, and things we want to align ourselves with right now. And which may be worth passing on. So yeah, careful consideration should be given to social karmic contracts. That's the way I would put it for Leos.
Virgo
Now we go to Virgos, and we see that this square is taking place between the 10th and the seventh. So there we have a strong emphasis on the 10th house, the place of career, the development, and growth of your professional life, your skills and mastery of various skills, your position in maybe accompany the management, the leadership, the potential for new creative directions to take shape in the career house. That's a strong set, especially having a Jupiter year for Virgos in your 10th house. Most people really enjoy Jupiter years in their 10th year in terms of the growth of their career and expansion of opportunities that come in a lot of nice things right now, I think, for Virgos in the 10th house.
However, it is very similar to our Leo risings. We have this check from Saturn in Pisces in the seventh, which has to do with the weight of our emotional obligations and responsibilities and commitments to other people, intimate and personal relationships, and how those relationships are, whether or not they're conducive to the continued development and freedom and happiness of our professional lives. You know, it's like some relationships are going to be helping us reach our potential, and some are going to be weighing us down. Some will, and some people will resent our happiness, our success, or our excitement.
Other people will add something really special to the development of our happiness and success. And they'll cheer us on, and there'll be people who can contribute. But there's an intersection for Virgos right now between the path of creative and professional development and the responsibilities or obligations that you have to other people, especially in intimate or personal relationships. Certain relationships may be ready to end or shift, you know, in a very serious manner, because Saturn in the seventh is very consequential; it tends to bring, you know, periods of deeper weighty or more consequential outcomes in relationships.
Libra
Okay, so we get to Libras. And we are now looking at the connection between the ninth and the sixth. For Libras, there's so much focus on the house of the higher mind, our beliefs, learning teachers, and places or settings for learning, travel, and abroad. Saturn in Pisces, for everyone, offers this kind of gut check and sense of obligation and responsibility to whatever we're learning. And as exciting as it is, there is some need for deeper emotional maturity, commitment, and sacrifice on behalf of that exciting energy in the ninth house; it's like if you're studying something, you get really excited about it. And that's often enough to, you know, send you on your way.
But very soon, you start to realize, Oh, if I'm going to really take this seriously, it's going to require a lot of sacrifices, it's going to require a lot of effort, it's going to require work, and that I chop wood and carry water over and over again, for a long period of time, if I want to take the excitement and turn it into, you know, actual mastery of a subject like going to school requires a kind of long term process of learning and writing papers and writing a thesis. And so the excitement, the doors that are sort of opening in the ninth house for Libras, very exciting. But you are going to be squaring up to the level of sacrifice, commitment, and effort required emotionally from you with respect to these, which kind of stimulates a new direction as the month goes on.
Scorpio
All right, let's go to Scorpios. So for Scorpios, we have the Gemini energy in the eighth, and we have the check from Saturn in the fifth. What's interesting is that the typical eighth-house fifth-house connection has to do with the relationship between creative satisfaction and a fifth-house concern, like, am I creatively satisfied? Not all the time, no one nobody can be. But enough, you know, do I have? Is there enough? Are there enough experiences in my life? That is where I feel creatively happy with what I'm doing. And Saturn in the fifth is really calling that into question for Scorpios. Right now, it's like, well, that's not an easy thing to answer when Saturn is in your fifth house. In fact, Saturn in the fifth will often come up during a period of time when you are really looking for more fun. You're looking for a healthier relationship with creativity and pleasure. But you're having a hard time finding it.
So, there's a lot of feedback when Saturn goes through the fifth house with respect to creative fulfillment and sensual enjoyment or happiness in life. Now, Saturn in that house spends a long time in that house, but when it hits this, like a big stellium like in the eighth house, the connection is there between concerns over creative fulfillment and pleasure. And the interaction of that topic with your relationships and what they either provide you with or withhold from you.
So all of these planets in Gemini in the eighth house, may, for example, bring new karmic contracts into your life, new people, and but with not just new people, but the exchanges of what people give you and what you give in return, what the give and take of relationships, and what exchange of values and resources are coming into your life through other people right now, that's intimately tied to for as exciting as that Gemini stellium looks in the eighth, by the way, meaning that there could be some really valuable nice resources coming in through new people and new relationships, or new resources coming in through existing relationships. Either way, it's immediately being checked by Saturn, who's still in the fifth house, asking where and how I find creative satisfaction or pleasure in life. So that's the dynamic that I would pay attention to if I was Scorpio rising.
Sagittarius
Alright, let's go forward to Sagittarius, where we now have the square between the seventh and the fourth; Gemini stellium in the seventh is focused on relationships, love, sexuality, intimacy, and the social dimension of our life in general. So there's a lot of emphasis on that right now for Sagittarians. Opening your life, opening your mind to new people, and opening your thoughts. Transformation of both mind and body through other people is pronounced for Sagittarians. Right now, Saturn offers its sort of superior square check over the cycle. The fourth house, which is the place of ancestral, our ancestry, it's a place of home, family, and parents living environment. And so when Saturn is at the base of your chart, there's history, there's a really there's a weighty, deep emotional history of things that you've seen and faced and gone through, in your, in your ancestral karma.
So the relation between ancestral, familial, or even just the karma of your living environment or setup in life right now, any and all of those themes are also there assert that Saturn in the fourth is asserting itself through the superior square over the New Moon in Gemini in the seventh suggesting that for as I don't know, as exciting as the stellium in Gemini looks, relationships are having to immediately work with kind of old weightier emotional themes around home family ancestry in the past. So it's just something to think about there. Don't be surprised if those two subject areas are meeting one another.
Capricorn
Okay, so let's go on to Capricorn Rising, which places the Gemini energy in the sixth and then Saturn in the third. For Capricorns, what comes to my mind immediately is mental and emotional health. When so many planets are in Gemini in the sixth house, there's a strong emphasis on communication and relationships. The sixth house is a place where there's always something to work on; there are always challenges to overcome.
There are always sacrifices to be made for things that we care about or people that we care about. Then, the check from Saturn in Pisces in the third suggests that there are heavy things swimming in the environment emotionally. And so you put those things together, and you get to your themes around relationships, emotionally and mentally. And I think you yourself may be navigating challenges around mental-emotional health. That doesn't mean that there's anything diagnostically wrong, per se, but it could be that it's just a month where it's just a little rough.
There are some choppy waters mentally and emotionally, and you're having to navigate tricky situations in your relationships in how you communicate, paying attention to people's needs, and maybe even having to make some sacrifices on behalf of people who love and care about finding peace and harmony and trying to keep things light while also not skipping over deeper, more consequential themes that have to be considered. But I see this for Capricorns as a month of trying to ride some waves, you know, ride through some difficult waters when it comes to mind and emotions in relationships, and The theme of resilience and playfulness as a way of moving through heavier material comes to mind like keep it lighthearted.
Aquarius
Alright, so Aquarius excuse me, Aquarius, we take the Gemini planets in the fifth, and we square to Saturn in Pisces in the second. So, the connection between these two houses has a lot to do with resources and the focus on creative creativity, joy, and satisfaction. The fifth house, often called The Joy, is derived from one's Dharma and has to do with the satisfaction that we get from living in touch with a creative essence. And that creative essence expresses itself differently in, you know, in every individual's life.
But right now, there's so much focus on creativity and the development of the creative side of life, as well as just the side of life that says, I'm happy today. This was fun. This was enjoyable. So is life. Do I feel happy? Am I doing things that are enjoyable? Do I feel creatively satisfied? Of course, it's a house of pregnancy and children and so many other things. Well, there's so much emphasis there for Aquarians right now. This is truly revolutionary for Aquarians with Pluto; also, in your first house, you're shifting your identity in relation to creative expression. And there's like a call to become a little bit more lighthearted, which is always good for Saturn-ruled signs on the ascendant.
Both Capricorn and Aquarius often need help with that. But we're also looking at the intersection of creativity, happiness, and resources. Do I have what I need to pursue the things that I want? Saturn, in the second, could say, well, you don't have the time, money, energy, or resources to do things that are creative, or that's irresponsible, or something like that. So I would be careful of Saturn as a kind of killjoy in the second house, trying to limit what you feel like you can do creatively or trying to tell you it's not the time or it's not responsible for having fun. And I'd be very careful of that.
On the other hand, I wonder if you're trying to you're really trying to get a clearer sense of what you have available, what resources are there for you to use wisely, and, you know, incrementally toward the realization of some creative dreams. Saturn in the second can certainly provide like the, you know, especially being in Pisces, which is Venus's exultation, and Venus sort of being at the heart of the Sun in the fifth, I really do feel like a wise evaluation of resources with an eye toward long term creative plans, and projects that are meant to provide more happiness would also be a great way of pairing these planets together in the month ahead.
Pisces
Okay, so finally, put Pisces on the ascendant, and now we have the Gemini stellium in the fourth with the square from Saturn in the first. And so you think first about the emphasis on the home family living environment. And with the new moon in space, there's like a new season or a new cycle that's getting started with respect to the roots of your life, what home looks like, or what you're doing to create a new living environment or a new sense of emotional security, which is kind of like, like psychic nest building in the fourth house.
So you're working on your roots, you're working on the home space, or you're looking maybe even to heal old patterns around home family, or there's new themes or events taking that are there sort of appearing with respect to the topics of home and family. All of that would be consistent with such an emphasis on the fourth house. Now, the check from Saturn in the first is interesting because Saturn in the first is quite existential. Saturn, in the first, says, Who are you? You know, and sometimes when you're let's just let's, I'll come up with a specific example.
So let's say that you are thinking about moving to a new location or new apartment or buying a new home. And as you are looking at your options and trying to determine where you're going to move, the question that keeps coming up is Yeah, but I'm just not sure that this place is me. I'm not sure that this is an accurate reflection of who I am or who I'm becoming, and that might be due to the fact that Saturn in the first house is quite existential and often makes it very difficult to get a clearer sense of who we are and who we are not.
And so Though, you know, deeper existential questions around identity, and where your life is heading and who you're becoming, or what you have to let go of, which is in process with Saturn in the first house, is coming into a conversation with this kind of new, exciting, bubbly energy around home family, roots, living environment, etc.
So, it's an existential month for Pisceans with respect to the future of home, family, and roots. And there's a powerful intersection right now between questions of who you are and who you've been with respect to things like your living environment or your home or your family. So that's how I would see that one. And that is our final horoscope.
All right. So we'll leave it there for today. And again, I call these flash horoscopes because they're just meant to be very brief and just sort of hit on some of the topics that the New Moon is activating. For many of you, the most specific manifestations will exist in relation to the specifics of your birth chart. But at the very least, you now know which topics in which houses are being activated through the astrology of this cycle, and hopefully, that points you in the right direction.
So we'll leave it there for today. I will be back tomorrow with more, and after I sign off, you can learn more about the horary program if you'd like to. Alright, I hope you guys are having a good one. Tell me how this ends up manifesting. I'd love to hear your stories. All right, take it easy bye.
