A New Moon Stellium in Aquarius

Today we are going to take a look at the New Moon that is happening tomorrow, February 11 in the sign of Aquarius, and we're going to take it through all 12 of the houses today to give you a sense of how this New Moon might be impacting you personally. So a few things about this, this New Moon cycle. It is a very powerful one, I'm only going to focus on the traditional seven planets today just to keep it simple. There's a lot to say about Uranus and Saturn. Still, we'll probably do another video on that before next week when they conjoin.

But today I want to point out some basic aspects involving this Moon cycle because it is arguably one of the more potent moon cycles of the year because of the massive amount of planets all lining up in Aquarius. So it's important to understand some of the subtleties of this cycle. And then we're going to walk it through the houses. Alright, so first of all, this is a Moon cycle with all planets in an overcoming square to Mars. However, Mars is in the domicile of Venus, so it has reception with Venus, and it is also in the exaltation of the Moon. So a New Moon that has power over Mars and Venus in Venus's sign. And Venus also has power over Mars. So what does that mean? It means that there's a lot of Mars is basically like a hired a hired man in this, in this particular New Moon cycle working on behalf of the goals and long term ideals of the Aquarian stellium. And there may be conflicts, challenges or obstacles or some degree of contention. But ultimately, Mars is going to end up you know, being more of a servant in this case than an impediment. You're going to see Mars sort of soften, soften and come into service of the ideals of the Aquarian New Moon, and you may not see it right away. These are, these are omens and signs of things to come in the future. As a cycle unfolds, that cycle is exists in symbolic time, there's no one hard or fast way to determine when you'll see that play out. It just means as we walk it through the houses today, this area of life, something new is getting started, it's gonna need the action, and the courage and the assertiveness of Mars, it could run into some problems or contention or conflict, but all of the resources are there to overcome those things. Given that Mars is really in the service of the Moon and Venus, who are going to nurture build, you know, and grow whatever it's indicating in our lives, you know, with more harmony and fluidity. So that's a really good sign like I really this is one of the more powerful and I think positive Moon cycles of the year.

You can also see that as the New Moon is forming, Venus and Jupiter are getting together. This is also happening as Mercury is starting to recover and move into its Morning Star phase ready to announce something ready to bring something out after a process has been taking place in this Aquarian area of your birth chart. Also all of it is brought to you by Saturn. Saturn in Aquarius is very strong. It's a forward thinking Saturn. Saturn in Aquarius looks at the future and it gets better as it ages. And this is in a fixed air sign, Saturn ruled, a lot of Saturn power. There's something benefic or beneficial, ambitious and forward thinking that we're trying to plan or move toward that is getting planted as a seed around this New Moon cycle it's going to take a while to play out and then again along the way, you might run into some entrenched difficulties or obstacles but likely to overcome them because Mars is getting overcome by all these planets and is actually also dependent upon them that gets got that reception from both the Moon as its exaltation Lord and Venus as its domicile ruler. So so that's the big picture here. And some of those details are important.

If you think about Mercury emerging as the morning star, there's going to be a lot of enthusiasm in time about something that we're planning on or that we're starting to develop or cultivate or a future that we're starting to look toward. It's a fixed sign both both Aquarius and Taurus, so it's going to take a while. Fixed means it can last a long time once established, but fixed signs when they become a part of an initiating phase in life, they often also take a while to get off the ground. When are you going to see some of the fruits coming, I would say that some of the most beneficial fruits are going to come later in the summer, let me show you. So when you get into July, you're going to notice that there is a Full Moon. So here you can see the Full Moon forming between the sun and the Moon in Aquarius, right. And at that time, there's going to you're going to have another contact from Jupiter and Venus, they're opposing one another at that point in time, the benefics, that's not necessarily a bad thing to be opposed. So you've got the benefics coming back together again, at the Full Moon in Aquarius later in the summer. This is about July 23. So whatever seeds are being planted right now, I would say one more literal timing device that you could use would be to look at the Full Moon in Aquarius in the summer.

So there's one more, and you'll have so you have two full This one's August 22, you got another Full Moon in Aquarius with Jupiter this time. And also what's nice about this one is you're getting a nice Trine from Venus to Saturn. So these two Full Moon I would think would be the fruiting point of the lunar cycle that's getting started now or one potential place of manifestation. Cycles are different for everybody, though, you know, karmic cycles are they come and go in our charts very, very differently because of the specifics of each birth chart. So that's just kind of a general rule of thumb is where's the new moon planted look to the part of the year where the sun's in the opposite sign, you get a full moon in the same sign that the New Moon happened in.

So what I want to do now is take this through the houses, we're going to begin by putting Aries on the ascendant. And I'm just going to give you a few key things for every house.

So for the 11th house, New Moon, if you're an Aries rising, this is forming in the place of groups and allies and colleagues and benefactors, it's, I would say that some a seed is being planted socially, there's development through collaboration, there's a promise in the future that will involve beneficial people or influences coming into your life changes within an existing organisation or company that you work for. And it's going to take a while because this is the succeeding house. But there, these are long term visions and changes that are going to start to occur. And it looks like again, for the most part, this moon cycle is beneficial. And it's also going to tie in with the square to Mars to something around finances for you. So that's the Aries outlook. I'm going to go to Taurus.

That's my own rising sign. I'm stoked for this because I will be in the next moon cycle announcing my new class that I'm starting, a brand new programme that I'm launching this year, new reading schedule, new reading structure for my personalised readings will be coming out in the next few weeks. All stuff that I had in the works. And you would think as an astrologer be very aware of all this stuff, but I'm not. And so when I looked at it as I was doing all this, and I go Oh, yeah, of course, it's going to fall in line with this New Moon in the career house. So that's it. If you're a Taurus rising, the developments may be happening around your career, your work your business, maybe relationships in the workplace. Now if you don't have a job, this can mean that you find one It can mean that you changed jobs, it could also mean that you start a business or that you receive some kind of training. It could be something that's preparing you for the future in relation to job or work. But it's also it's coming you know, it's gonna come into dialogue Mars in your first house with what you're willing to do or not do or how much you want to work or not work or how you feel your own identity fits into the developments happening in your career. So that's a little bit for Taurus rising let's take it forward to Gemini rising.

For Gemini rising and falling into your ninth house. I'd love to To hear stories from my Gemini rising people about this massive amount of attention that's been placed on your ninth house, I also find that Gemini rising people are very intelligent and thoughtful people. But sometimes a little bit more on the skeptical side, less likely sometimes to like commit to a religious or spiritual path or just one teacher or just one activity. There's often like a multiplicity, I'm not saying anything you all probably don't know. And I love this about Gemini, some of my actually my best friend, since childhood is a Gemini. I wonder what it means, though, to have so much fixed energy in your ninth house, where typically people are going to see that you're going to see people committing to things like teachers, or programmes or learning or something developing in that ninth house of higher education, spirituality, religion, foreign countries that looks like it's long term and could reflect like a deeper level of commitment intellectually. Now, that's coming in touch though, with Mars in the 12th, which is, you know, maybe your own self destructive tendencies or influences in that environment, like conflicts or challenges. I can imagine if you're in an academic environment, you're a Gemini rising, that you could be dealing with certain degree of conflict or toxicity in the academic environment with Mars in the 12th. Looks like you're going to overcome that. But there is there might be some challenges there with Mars in the 12th.

Let's move on to Cancer rising, it's going to put it in your eighth house. That's a place that I define as karmic debts. You guys have heard me say this before? What do I owe to other people? Or what do they owe to me emotionally, psychologically, karmically? It's hard, it's broad, right. But often, it's also financially: loans, debts, taxes, penalties, fees, things that we owe other people, or, again, things that other people may give to us. That's why you will see inheritance associated with this place. Oftentimes, there's also this theme of benefiting from someone else's misfortune. I know that sounds really crappy, but someone say, you know, gets fired, and then you take their job, to why'd you didn't do it that you know, but you end up benefiting from it. There's also sometimes this eighth house emphasis on mortality and the reality of mortality, you guys know that I put out a call for Cancer risings to share their stories with me and my overview for the month because I mentioned this in that video as well. And I got some really interesting stories from people. One of the things that came up that I thought was really interesting is this woman was sharing that she's had a company, her business, all of a sudden has a whole new level of expenses that she's paying to other people all the time now, and it's kind of changed your business model. And things are going well, but there's like all of these things, she has to pay other people. So, you know, it could be like that, too. But also the question of spouse or partner's resources or money that can come up, investments, things like insurance or protection against loss, questions like that, and this may tie in with Mars to some challenges or impediments that are to be overcome, surrounding groups or friends or within organisations. I think I told you guys, my wife has a Cancer rising. So, you know, she's involved in a whole bunch of different professional groups and has noticed that there's been some real turmoil in some of the groups that she belongs to professionally, like forums and stuff like that online. And you know, she had the question like, well, do I say anything? Or don't I? You guys have probably been in a similar situation. It's like, not always easy to know what the role is and it's probably likely that peace will overcome the difficulties here. But anyway, those are a few things for Cancer rising, let's move on to Leo rising

It's going to land in your seventh house of relationships. So the focus is on development, looks very positive in relationships, may find that there is some conflict with your work in the world, your career overlapping at the same time. Leo risings. Tell me your stories. How is that showing up for you? I'd love to hear more about that. One thing that I sometimes scratch my head about is, you know, how when you see a square between the seventh and the 10th, right, which you see all the time, but when you see it, how how, what are the different kinds of stories that we can see aside from relationship issues and work issues coming up simultaneously, because there's lots more there, for example, one thing that is going to be pretty common is when when people are thinking about getting married and having kids, there's always question about the sacrifice of some degree of freedom in the world. If I become a parent, I won't have as much freedom if I get into this relationship, I might have to move. So sometimes the conflict is going to be almost about challenging some degree of autonomy or freedom that you have in the world. I'd love to hear your stories on that one too. All right, so relationships for Leos.

Virgo, it's in your sixth house. So that house, one of the things that that house was related to was Mars god of war. It was literally associated with soldiers and the selfless sacrifice of people who die for a cause. But also servants servitude and slavery, as well as some sort of selfless service, sacrifice hard work, blood, sweat and tears, disease and sickness, chronic health problems. And yet, one of the things that's really interesting there, this is a Saturn hosted New Moon, is that malefics in this house will often mean that there is difficulty but that it's overcome. It's like a weird like treats like kind of thing. So a new moon in this house, overcoming adversity that comes to mind here, and the perhaps the square from Mars. The adversity is either rooted in or has something to do with religion, higher education, learning, foreign countries, foreign cultures, something like that. Or it could be that there's something about beliefs and practice that that's always a good ninth house, sixth house connection, but overcoming different kinds of adversity, hard work, self sacrifice, this is something that you're you're building, and it looks like, you know, good fortune is gonna come from it. But this would be the one where, you know, there's more of a theme of having to overcome something on route to this desired future. So are working very hard to get somewhere and I think it will pay off. All right, so that's Virgo rising, let's go to Libra.

So when we bring Libra into the ascendant, this goes into the fifth house. One thing that I love about Indian astrologers, they say that this Western astrologers called this the house of good fortune and enjoy Venus, Indian astrologers say that, among other things, they say about this house that this is the good stuff that you get from previous lifetimes. So I like this for Libra risings, I really like the idea of something very positive developing this month, and sort of inheriting some good fortune this month, there is the sense of building something that will grow in the future, but perhaps being able to do it because of things that are given or inherited or received or just like beneficial things that come your way that serve to help you develop something that you are hoping to develop. That's one thing about the fifth house is just sort of like here's some good fortune. And the other thing about the fifth house is that it's related to creativity, joy, you know, Pregnancy children, great transit for having kids or getting pregnant, potentially. Saturn there, maybe it takes a few tries, or maybe it's you know, it's a little there's a little bit of the arduous quality to it. And like for example, you know, sometimes it takes a few tries to get you need some fertility treatment or something like that. But this would be overall for Libras a good sign of like, joy, creativity, good fortune, kind of coming in through this. Now the challenge is going to be from Mars in the eighth, which would probably have something to do with things that you're obligated to in relationships with other people, or the kind of karmic debts that come up and act as an impediment or potential conflict for you. But they'll probably be overcome again, because ours is being overcome, has good reception with Venus in the moon.

Alright, let's move this into Scorpio rising where we're going to put this big stellium now in the fourth house of home, family, family, karma, living environment, parents property. And here we're seeing is the development of a cycle. Over time, it's gonna take a while to build, but it's something new that's growing and developing that looks very fortunate around home and family buying a house settling down, you know, marriage and kids, those kinds of things can happen when you see new moons in the fourth house. But there is some degree of conflict around home family and the topic of marriage or challenges from spouses or partners. This would be the kind of thing where you could see a new beginning after getting through a divorce. And it's like a little tough to establish something new, but you're overcoming past adversities in relationships, or you're moving and you're dealing with a partner who's having a hard time you know, packing their boxes or something like it could be it could be something kind of silly like that. Okay, so tell me your stories if you're a another one that I love to see are the angular conversations with a fourth seventh connection right now. How is that playing out for you if you're a Scorpio rising?

Alright, let's put Sagittarius on the ascendant going into the third house. third house is one of the more I feel like it's it's often a more abstract house to explain or define. Because it has so much to do with the mental and the mental quality of the immediate environment that you're in. Anything from media technology, communication speech in the mind in its everyday comings and goings. When you see newness here, like a big new moon cycle coming, I'm thinking of things like okay, you're going to build a new website, you're going to develop a new blog, you're going to learn a new skill, you're going to write a new song you're going to need to express or communicate yourself in a new way. It can also mean however, that there's just really fortunate influences coming into your immediate environment to make it easier somehow. Technology that benefits or a new computer or something like that gives me that feeling, especially because Mercury is also retrograde in this house suggesting that you might be revising something to make your life easier. And of course, the square from Mars is going to provide a little bit of contention in the sense, okay, maybe this is me, there's some hard work or adversity that has to be overcome. Or maybe this is about sorting out different kinds of influences in the environment that are hostile somehow, but you know, that they will, they'll, they'll become, they'll be willing to compromise, they'll be willing to work for the good here. siblings, neighbours, neighbourhood, you know, those things could also be involved in the story somehow. So again, that's an interesting one. So just tell me your story.

Capricorn rising, we're putting it in the second house - money! Your your this cycle is all about developing things around business or your resources, financial planning, could start a business with this, this new moon, you might be overcoming certain kinds of what do I want to say, a conflict of resources or values with Mars in the fifth house, or differing some kind of different creative ideas about how resources should be used or how something should be implemented. You could also see conflicts between children and finances or children and money costs or expenditures coming up relative to kids. And also, the new moon in the second house, generally speaking, again, it's going to take a while to play out, but you're planting a seed here in a garden, that is that will yield its fruit. And it what is the fruit of the second house, it is things that you can rely on as resources to prop up and support you in life. So that can be a little abstract doesn't have to be financial or just like monetary, it could be that you're developing an internal resource of some kind that will be there to aid you in time. All right. So that's if you're a Capricorn rising.

If you're an Aquarius, rising, it's in you this is happening in your first house is very existential. When it's in your first house. It's like, Okay, this is about me, this is about personal change, personal growth, physical health, or appearance in the world. You know, a new moon in the first house is often a time where you're like, I need to, you know, reboot and and upload version 3.0. You know, this is there's a new me that needs to come out. And that can express itself in so many different ways. The new mean might mean something new in a relationship, the new mean might mean something new, you know, at work, or it could be something about your health that needs to improve, reuse take more seriously, but it's a very personal moment for self inventory. And then the square the little bit of challenge or conflict comes from the fourth house, Mars, living environment, home family, karma, etc. should be able to overcome those things. But those two areas are working together.

Alright, finally, we put Pisces rising on the ascendant, and we have this big stellium in your 12th poor Pisces, your 12th house year, you know, on the on the on the positive side of the of this, it is very positive, I don't mean to sound that might immediately make someone go, oh, man, the 12th house is the joy of Saturn. That's the place that Saturn rejoices. So this isn't a bad thing. But it is a place that might point to more seclusion or isolation, or solitude, or needing to distance yourself from the world somehow, or owning your otherness, whatever that might mean. It could also be an indication of turning over a new leaf in relation to your most self destructive patterns like that, that's might seem a little counterintuitive, but a new moon in that place with benefits could mean hey, I'm really becoming aware of something that undermines me and I'm going to take care of it. This is also in in dialogue with Mars in the third house, this could be about overcoming some difficulties mentally, or in the everyday environment, you're really going to be addressing it. Again, I think these are things that has that has the look of something that can be overcome this month, because again, Saturn in a difficult house, oftentimes you're going to see the more productive qualities come out from Saturn in the 12th and the ability to overcome hardships or difficulty or to use that, that more of that almost mystical, contemplative hermit side of the 12th house to your advantage.

So that's what I'm seeing for all 12 signs. Sometimes you're going to see the fruits of a cycle like this appear within by the Full Moon, right and that's one level of manifestation which will, we'll pay attention to in the moon cycle ahead. But also don't forget that we have a couple of Full Moons in Aquarius later in the summer that will echo all of these new developments that are happening right now.
