Hi everyone this is Acyuta-bhava from Nightlight Astrology and today we are going to take a look at another birth chart. This client today comes from one of my classes she volunteered her chart for me to demo for my YouTube channel. So thank you to to her for giving us something to talk about today. The purpose of this series that I do on birth chart demonstrations is to give people at home some tools for interpreting birth charts, especially if you're studying on your own and you don't have the time or the resources to be taking a full time class. At the same time I use these videos to demo and promote my upcoming programmes. So my new programme ancient astrology for the modern mystic begins in June You can learn more about it on my website nightlightastrology.com, go to the courses page and pick up on the first year course you can read all about it there. If you have any questions you can email me info at nightlightastrology.com. It's a one year programme that will teach you all the basics of Hellenistic astrology, all of the appropriate delineation techniques, philosophy history, it's a really rich programme. With a tonne of extra bonus content and breakout study sessions and group form you can email me with questions throughout the year got guest lectures that come in. So the earlybird rate is in effect right now all the way until the start of class, you can take advantage of that and save about $500 off the tuition. There's also need based tuition if you are on a budget tight budget, if you're a single parent, whatever the case might be, over 50% of our students are on some form of need based tuition that we try to try to make sure that our programmes are really accessible. So check that out.

Let's go ahead and dive into our birth chart for today. So our guest client is allowing me to do some delineation work on her birth chart so that we can learn some some cool techniques. And I'm also going to do a little bit of forecasting for her. So one of her questions that she's wondering about is whether or not she will be able to make some kind of income doing at least maybe part time consulting work as an astrologer after she finishes her astrology training, which she's doing through my programmes right now. And we'll be taking the second year class coming up this summer, she just finishing her first year programme. So that was one of her questions. And she also just wanted to know what if anything is coming in the realm of relationships? Do I see any upcoming opportunities for relationships, she's currently single. So I'll try to address those questions at the end. But first, she's also letting me tell you some of the interesting details about her life and placements in our birth chart for the sake of our learning.

So a few things that stand out like when you look at a chart. I've been emphasising this in recent videos that almost all of the information you need is going to be found by understanding how to read a planet in a house and how to read the ruler of a house in another house. For example, what does it mean, in this chart that the seventh house ruler, which would be the planet that rules rules the seventh house so that means Libras? In the seventh by whole sign, Venus is going to be the seventh house ruler. What does it mean? That Venus, the ruler of the seventh place of marriage, is in the first place in her exile, an Aries and retrograde? What does that mean? What could that possibly indicate about loving relationships? Venus might be a planet that we look to for love and relationships if Venus wasn't already in the seventh or ruling the seventh. But in this case, because Venus is the ruler of the seventh Venus is going to really tell us the story about love and relationships. Well, let's start breaking down that Venus a little bit. So when you have Venus in Mars's sign, and in the first house, opposite to the seventh, the story of independence, individuality, potentially power struggles, or the struggle to remain free or independent in loving relationships, or maybe the tendency to be too independent and to struggle being in a monogamous or committed relationship of some kind because of it could be part of what we're delineating here. And the reason for that is that Venus, a cooperative planet is in the first house which is a house that's more independent in nature. And it's about your your own selfhood. Venus is also in a Mars ruled sign, which has more to do with selfhood.
4:22
The same time we see Mars itself, which we always want to look at for the counteraction effect, which means if Venus is in Mars is signed and what is Mars doing in the chart at the time of birth? Well, here's Mars in the 12th house, what is the 12th house in essence, it is the house that carries things away from us whether it's our control our sanity or health, our sense of who we are what we're doing in life, it is in a sense to lose our ability to control the situation or ability to have our own hands on the steering wheel of life. It is a place where planets in this in this house or that place itself carry away from being in control or carry something away from us as in loss of something, that's one of the most basic could say archetypal meanings of the 12th house. And there's a deep explanation for that, that I've gone into in previous videos, I won't today so much but we know that Venus is little debilitated in Mars, a sign may have conflicts between independence and dependence more pronounced. And then we see Mars in the 12th house of things that get carried away or that take us away from our centre or something like that. When I look at this chart, initially, this was the first thing that jumped out at me is, wow, that's a difficult combination for the marriage house ruler. What could this mean? Venus is also retrograde, which means Venus will give things that look beneficial, but then sometimes take them back or reverse them. That's one of the core meanings of retrogradation. There's other meanings too, but we'll just stick to that one for now. Especially the idea of taking back something that's been given when a benefic is retrograde, like Venus or Jupiter. Now, when Venus is retrograde, taking something back will also be indicated by the placement of its ruler. So we also have its ruler Mars in a house that tends to take things away from us. And so overall, here we're seeing something that is given that is then taken back or lost, or may involve some kind of hardship. And, you know, when I see Venus debilitated in Mars' sign and then it kind of debilitated Mars in the 12th, I start thinking about partners who are either abusive, who have drug problems, who may end up at worst incarcerated, or who may be lying or hiding things, or possibly that there is some really self destructive tendency in who one chooses for a partner. Those are some of the low hanging fruit of this kind of combination. There are other things that are more perhaps sophisticated or nuanced than that. But when I, you know, was talking to her about her biography she had two different marriages, and children from both marriages, both to military men, both who were abusive, and one who ended up in prison, and one who had a drug problem. So drug problems, prison, abusiveness, two divorces, two marriages. So that's the hard karma of this chart around marriages.
7:27
Now, someone may very well say, you know, in a reading, what good does it do to sit down with an astrologer and have the astrologer tell you something you already know, especially something that's been so difficult, like, what would the value in that be? Well, first of all, astrology is something that works best when you build a relationship with a client that spans out through many years in many sessions. So seeing an astrologer that you like and work with somewhat regularly, say, once a year, over the course of a decade of your life, that's really when you're going to get the most out of astrology. People might say, you know, well, that, that certainly works out well, for the astrologer who's trying to keep a business. It's true, but at the same time, like what other form of therapy or counselling works in just one session, or work sporadically, you know what I mean? So, it is, it's like, it's not just a business play, it's literally true that the astrology works the best when you see someone regularly. When you're first establishing a relationship with a client, who may not know a lot about astrology. Maybe there's someone you're working with who does know a lot about astrology, in which case, you may not have this kind of conversation in the first reading, because they already know everything about like this about their chart, they already know that this these placements are related to these kinds of events like, you know, abusive partners, or a partner who goes to prison or something like that. But in the case that they don't, what you're trying to do in the beginning, is just show them that astrology has the power and ability to accurately and carefully describe the kinds of karma that they've already experienced, they need to client needs to know - this is something I teach my students - that you that astrology has the ability to accurately predict the past, the present and the future. And a first session is often about just getting to know the lay of the land, what have you been through already? What kinds of things have you experienced? And what that does initially, for a lot of people, it gives them the trust that astrology can also accurately Tell me about my inner life and about what might be coming at any given time in the future. And then a skillful astrologer will of course, at least be able to act like a good friend does in a coffee shop and give you down to earth non-professional advice. By that I mean, our job is not necessarily that of a counsellor or a therapist, though it could be, you could have a role to play as a counsellor or a therapist with someone because you have that training, but if not then what I see the astrologer doing is basically trying to give people advice about how to handle different things in the birth chart. For example, someone might hear this combination, as my guest client/student did and say, well, is that ever going to change? You know, will I always just be doomed to have this same kind of relationship? And the answer to that is, of course, no. It could be. I mean, some lives live out certain kinds of difficult patterns from start to finish. And there's not a lot of change in the same way that some rain storms last for a whole week, you just have a rainy week and it's just like, Man, it's been like 10 days in a row of rain. So that does happen. But more often than not, especially when you have planets in cardinal and mutable signs, which is what the planets representing marriage are in right now you've got Venus in a cardinal sign a fire sign, Mars, the dispositor in a double bodied water sign, those kinds of it were fixed, I'd be a little bit more hesitant to just say, Yeah, this can change. Anyway, those are those are some technical notes about modalities. But you typically want to, you typically want to give the client the advice that like, yeah, of course, these things can change. If you've grown and learned from the experiences, then it stands to reason that things typically get better for people in life as they age and mature and learn lessons.
11:16
So it might be a good part of a reading to talk about that a little bit and say, like, what, what have you learned from those experiences? And what will you take forward? What will you will, how will you approach a new relationship when it comes in or whatever. So, there might be in the same way that you would act like a good like a friend would to another friend, not feigning to have all the answers in the world, but just trying to be a good year good listener, and trying to help a person, you know, have hope and faith about potential for change, and helping people understand what planets are involved in what to watch out for, and things like that. And also transits, when are the transits coming that might indicate a new relationship, which we're going to talk about a little bit. So at any rate, back to the basic point, which is that astrology is going to give you if it can accurately describe the karma of your life, it first of all, just helps you to understand that there is karma in your life, that you are working within a karmic reality, and just that alone, wakes people up so much, it wakes up within them the realisation that the gods are real, that my soul is real, that karma is real, that my actions matter that, that I have certain inborn destiny, a destiny path in the birth or things that I'm going to learn and experience. And then I have to make something good out of those experiences, all of that comes in merely by the power that the chart has to describe the experiences we've already had. And sometimes people will also learn new things about themselves in the process, or they'll learn about new areas of life, or they'll hear something put together in a way that they've never heard before, that suddenly makes sense of a pattern they've experienced that they haven't been able to put their finger on. So there's a lot of really good things in an initial session, especially with someone who doesn't know a lot about their chart already. And just describing things, even though it might seem like a waste of time. It's really not. I mean, a good amount of my clients are returned clients, they come back again and again. And so that first session is often the one where you're just trying to build an understanding of what your destiny path has already been. And then usually spend some time within that session talking about what's to come as well. But I call my first sessions, my story building sessions, because like, we need to know what the story of your life has been so far, you may know it, but for me, the astrologer I don't and my ability to be a good forecaster for you is also dependent upon my ability to try to read and understand your story and then modify my understanding of the symbols as we speak in that first session. So at any rate, really challenging stuff around relationships in this chart with those two placements.
13:52
There's some other challenges in this chart. For example, one of the challenges that I see very clearly here is the Sun moving into a square with Saturn. Now, just when I look at a Sun, Saturn square, one of the things that I asked right away is what's the story with one's father. Sun Saturn contacts, maybe save the conjunction, but squares and opposition's especially those those transits are often times going to suggest a certain kind of challenge around one's father in particular. So this person never knew their father. They didn't actually ever meet or hear about their father. Their the information about their father was kept from them and from their siblings growing up, never met them and as an adult, finally was able to get information about one's dad and then found out through getting that information the dad had already died, so this woman never met or knew her father. And that's the sun Saturn square, where there's something withholding about Father or there might be something very difficult or out about father like father's very controlling or suppressive or father is condemning or father is absent. But sometimes those son Saturn opposition's or squares are going to be problematic in that way. Now, the other thing that strikes me about this son Saturn square, is I wondered right away about the story around money and children. Here you have the sun and Taurus in the second house, whose mission is you could say financial self sufficiency. And the sun is obviously going to describe something of the plotline of our life like a movie. And it's square to this to Saturn, in the fifth. It could tell a story about children and the burden, weight discipline duties, or challenges around children and pregnancy, as the fifth house is a place of children and pregnancy, so I asked, you know, what about children and the connection to finances. And of course, this woman has been a single mother, a single mother providing for several children on her own after those two failed marriages, where the one partner went to prison and the other had a drug problem. So the story of her life has also been in typical sun Saturn fashion about the feeling of hard work, perseverance. And you know, that where's the sun wants to be bright and luminous and noticed and seen, and joyful, and free. Saturn is going to be more about the limitations or constraints that are going to confine or require, you know, it's like the constraints of necessity that surrounded the Sun. So you're seeing that coming from the fifth house of children, and it's in this tight relationship that was applying the sun was applying to square Saturn from the second house of money and resources. So a big part of her life story has been about providing for children as a single mother. And that's that has been a constraint on her life since she was very young. She's been working in the same job since she was like 18, or 20, or something like that. So it was was really young, she's been working in the same job her whole life, and has also had some success with her own business, which has been a cleaning business that she's had on the side. So this, you can also see by virtue of the fact that the Sun and Mercury are in the second place together in this chart suggests that the plotline of the life has a lot to do with becoming self sufficient, Mercury in the second is a great sign for people who want to be entrepreneurial, or who want to develop or hone their own skills or resources and make them profitable.
17:49
So the other thing here that I think is pretty interesting is that when you look at this chart, and you go, okay, what's looks subjectively like the most positive thing here, and it's definitely the moon Jupiter, contact in the third, the third house was called the joy of the Moon. And when the moon is in Jupiter, when the moon and Jupiter are co present together in the same sign, there's often just a sign of good fortune or abundance or the environment giving back things that are beneficial. I wondered immediately about this being one of the more subjectively pleasant, or happier positive areas of her chart, right. And it turns out that she has worked for an educational company that does testing, like testing software, testing data, she's worked there since she was a young woman, and, you know, worked her way up. So Educational Testing and data she's worked in. So there's the moon Jupiter contact, which is paid her well has honoured her and let her you know, advance and do well in her life in that area. Also, she has inherited some land or property from a sibling. One of the interesting things about this chart is that you'll see that the moon when she was born, is void of course. So the Moon void of course, is moving into the fourth house of home and family, and land and property. And when the moon is really void, of course, meaning it's not making many more aspects in the sign that it's currently and that's a modern definition. And it is also just about to change signs. You can read this as a kind of progression. So one thing that we see the moon doing is moving from the house of siblings into the house of property where it picks up dignity and goes into its own sign. So she has had help from her brother in terms of getting a home and property. And in terms of also getting employed. Her cleaning business is facilitated because her brother is in real estate and she cleans his properties.
19:59
So there's been this really nice benefit that's gone from siblings right into working in homes, getting a home for herself, etc. So the third house here is a really subjectively positive area of her chart, because you've got both the moon and Jupiter in that house together with the moon in the process of moving into its own domicile in the fourth from the third. So the environment around siblings ends up directly having this very big benefit on our life, you could also look at the fact that the fourth house is exaltation ruler, Jupiter is in the third house of siblings, another way of looking at it. So these are some of the most, you know, like, potentially positive negative areas of the chart, you know, overall, there, we could go do some other things, too, that I'm not going to go into, for example, Mercury's also moving into a square with Saturn, which is an interesting placement in this chart, the moon is in a square with Mars, which one of the stories of her life that I won't get into so much is that she had major conflict with a very unhealthy mother figure that she also had to individuate from this is the same mother that kept from her and her siblings all the information about their father. And later in life, she had to cut her mom out of her life entirely. That's very Moon Mars square.
21:12
But at any rate, I hope that in seeing this delineation, you can just pick up on how simple some of these things are. To see in the chart, how simple it can be, like, you know, really simple information in a chart, like a Sun Saturn square between the second and the fifth, or the Sun and Mercury in the second, or, you know, the seventh house ruler here, Venus with its dispositor, Mars in the 12th. Like, some of those things, you know, if you, if you just learn how to read the ruler of a place in another place or a planet in a house, you get a lot of information that can go a really long way. So her question was, do you see an upcoming relationship? And also, when do you see any possibility for me to make some money doing astrology on the side? She has to keep her full time job for benefits and everything like that she's married to her full time job, but she wants to know, is there any? Do you see any chance for me to kind of launch a side project of doing some readings for people and making a little bit of money from it? So let's talk about that first, because that, to me, is the most promising piece right here. Now, there's different ways you can do this, I'm going to break this down in a slightly more modern way, rather than a traditional way, because some of the traditional delineation techniques are actually more complicated. I like using modern outer planets by transit for this reason, because they can be really effective in describing what's coming up. So yeah, one of the things that we see here is the planet Uranus is about to move over Mercury in the second house. Now, on the surface, this could mean a variety of different things. But one of the things that it could mean, because Uranus typically, is one of the good signifiers of astrology in so far as Uranus was this sky god and is often associated with progressive, eclectic, so esoteric technology or subject matters. People who like to think about celestial sciences in general often have strong Uranian signatures in their chart. There's a really nice actually article written about that by Richard Tarnas. Or like, it was a little book on the planet Uranus, if you ever want to look that up. Anyway, Mercury in the second house is going to be naturally innovative when it comes to making money. This is why the sun and mercury in the second are often a good sign of someone who will do something entrepreneurial at some point, for example, starting her own cleaning business working with her brother, you see the ruler of the third house of siblings in the second house, innovative Mercury doing some work with brother. Now, the other thing though, is that Mercury, just like Uranus, Mercury was the traditional ruler of astrology. And so you're on a Sun Mercury in the second house. Could you see someone you know, printing out some business cards, developing a website, starting a blog, maybe launching their own podcast, creating some content starting to get some readings under their belt with Uranus on Mercury for a good portion of this year, plus a good portion of next year. Within that three degree range? Yeah, and this will sync up with her finishing the first year programme where a lot of my students will end up jumping into reading for people on some level. And it'll finish when she's finishing up her second year programme, at which point a lot of people will also get a lot more serious about reading for others. So the potential of Uranus on mercury in the second between now and the end of 2022 is a great sign for innovative or original ideas that could produce money or income. It could also mean that there are some unexpected disruptions or a change of course, or change of direction that's somewhat unexpected, perhaps around the business with brother. And I wouldn't see that as inherently negative here. But for example, you know, is there some kind of change in the way brother is doing business or changes in the properties that he owns that you're cleaning or something like that? Yeah, you could see some disruptions or changes. Usually the virtue of your honest is that it frees you up to do more or to do, you know, it's the kind of transit where if you see Uranus, it's not quite like Jupiter, because it can be more disruptive and erratic than that. But Uranus transits often give us that feeling of breakthrough, or of greater freedom or independence or breaking out of old or familiar trends or patterns. So Uranus on Mercury can certainly do that. And that's what I would anticipate as the most positive sign of potential, you know, breakthrough and finances.
26:00
Now, if you add to that, that next year, this individual is also going to get eclipses over and over and over again, in the sign of Taurus by the end of 2021, the nodes of the moon change signs, and they go right into, they go right into Taurus and Scorpio. So yes, you're going to get that back and forth between the second and the eighth house, which often results in major changes financially, a bunch of solar eclipses in the second house, during that period of 2022, especially in the spring of 2022. You've got you're going to have a solar eclipse, and that's in in Taurus in the spring of 2022. Right when she's finishing her second year programme, so I would say yeah, there's some really good opportunities here for new financial up new streams of revenue or income or business, you know, and the more kind of provocative and outside of the box that they are, the more it matches with Uranus in general. Now, that could also come with potentially some costs around children, as Uranus will also be hitting a square to Saturn in the fifth house. So maybe there's some, you know, maybe the, maybe the kids are needing some financial there. Maybe there's some bills that come up with the kids, right, that could be a thing as well here. But I like this, generally speaking, and it's not a mistake that your interest in astrology starts pouring in, and becoming more, it becomes more feasible to do astrology for a living or to make some amount of part time, money on the side. From 2018 onward, as soon as Uranus entered the second house of money and finances starting to provide that boost going over her Sun as she gets close to starting the astrology programme and stuff like that. So you'll often see that kind of thing happening, if there's an opportunity for someone to you know, make money doing astrology, even if again it's only like part time, there's, I'd say most people are going to start part time and then move to full time as they develop clientele anyway, so she never know, I've seen some people who thought I'd only going to be doing this part time, and then they just suddenly it just explodes. And you just never know when that's gonna mean that's certainly that's how it happened. For me, I was not anticipating that I was like, I'm gonna try this and see if it goes full time. And it just did.
28:22
Okay, so the the next question that was asked, had to do with relationships, and when we might see a relationship coming through. Yeah, there is. So in zodiacal releasing between 2024 and 2025, November 2024. to July of 2025, she will be in seventh house period ruled by Venus. So that tracks pretty well. That's in 2000. What did I say? 24. That I just I just forgot what I just said. Yeah, that's 2024 November. The other thing that's really interesting is that if you go beyond the eclipses in 2022, and into 2023, and a little bit into 2024, that's when eclipses start coming through the first and the seventh houses, eclipses in the seventh house in 2023. And into 2024 just a little bit, will then dovetail with the zodiacal releasing period in 2024, that focuses on the seventh house. So I would say broadly speaking, probably midway through 2023, and all the way to like the first half of 2025 is your next very strong relationship period. And then knowing your chart, my advice for that is just be very sure upfront that you're with someone who's sober, that you're with someone without secrets, that you're with someone who's mature, maybe someone who's also had to raise kids or, you know, someone who has experienced being, you know, the maturities of, you know, adult parenting, because that's a place that you're at in your life, make sure that this person has a job that they're stable, that they share similar values with you that they don't think astrology is cuckoo, you know, stuff like that, it's just make sure you're make sure that you don't make, you know, whatever your blinders might have been in the past, it's kind of like, just really, you know, carry a little placard around with you that like has the steps on it, you know, like step one, make sure that they don't have a history of, you know, violence or drug abuse, or, or something like that, you know, or whatever the case might be, you know, whatever your list is just, like literally just carry a little thing in your back pocket. You meet someone during this period, you can pull it out and ask myself these questions. I know, I really want to be in a relationship. But, you know, are my unconscious patterns being brought up right now. So, you know, it's sometimes it's really just that simple. And it's also, you know, to me, it's like, also, just be hopeful. If you've been single for a while, and you've been very careful and, you know, discerning about partner choices for a while, and you're committed, you've learned and grown from those other relationships, there's no reason to think that the karma around marriage and relationships has to remain identical to the previous experiences. So remember, our we have we have a progressed chart, you know, we have zodiacal releasing periods that bring out different facets of our chart at different periods. Just because your chart says there's some difficulties lounge around love and relationships, that clearly they've defined a good portion of your life with the way with kids and marriage and what's happened with what happened with those spouses. But that doesn't mean that those karmas are active at every stage of your life, or that they may not be active just at earlier stages in your life. That's kind of the mystery of a birth chart. And that's why we use so many other timing techniques to figure out what's blossoming at what point in time.
