Hey everyone, this is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology, and today we're going to take a look at Jupiter's re-entrance into the sign of Aries, which is coming up right around the winter solstice if you're in the northern hemisphere, of course. So I thought it would be a good one to look at because I think it's the biggest and probably most exciting transit of the year that we have left as we're coming down the homestretch of 2022. So I figured, why not.
Tomorrow, we will be looking at the astrology of December, my friend Alex Amorosi, a colleague of mine, will be joining me, and then Friday, we'll be doing horoscopes for your sun and rising sign. So a couple of good things to look at here. Before we get into it today, don't forget to like and, subscribe, and share your comments that help the channel to grow. We really appreciate it when you guys do that. Transcripts of any of my daily talks can be found on my website if you ever want to read through what was said. That's @nightlightastrology.com.
Well, I have to start off today with an announcement. I am super excited and thankful to announce that we have crossed the 50,000 subscriber mark. Thank you, everybody. It's a milestone; never in my wildest dreams that I think when I started this channel that we would get this big. It's crazy. And my prayer is that we would continue to grow as a team, a staff of people who are here producing this for you, and me as a content creator, providing you with the best possible astrology content that is spiritually uplifting, entertaining, funny, poignant. And we have a lot of you all of you to thank for that for sharing your comments and your stories and just being a regular part of what makes this a special place to hang out.
So thank you to everybody. Some people were giving me all kinds of suggestions over the past month about how we might celebrate and aside from a dance party. I'll leave that to, like all of you brilliant Tik Tok errs out there ever, people who have actual dance skills. And we thought the second most popular thing we got was, well, you should get a cake, you know, a cake that has like, you know, celebrating, so we got a YouTube cake. If you want to see a video, we posted just a short video from my cell phone. I was talking to my kids about this and how we could get them involved. And they were like, well, you get a cake. What if we got to smash it in your face, which actually a few people had mentioned to me as well. So I was like, You know what, let's do that. That'll be fun. And my kid will be a memory my kids will never forget. So if you want to see that video, by the way, we posted it, you can see the disaster that you guys created. No, I'm kidding.
I also am really, of course, we're in the middle of promoting our Kickstarter. Right now, we are trying to reach 1608 backers by the New Year; we still have a long ways to go before January 1; I'm going to take you over to the Kickstarter page right now and tell you about two new exclusive rewards that we have put up in celebration of reaching 50,000 subscribers, and which I hope you will be able to take advantage of so every year we try to raise support to support my staff, there are ten people behind this whole production that make sure that I'm able to get all of this done. It takes four to six hours every single day; I pour a lot into it. So we try to gather your support at the end of the year. And we try to make sure that we give you something nice in exchange when you donate to support the channel. So you can pick a reward when you donate. The link to the Kickstarter is in the comments of this video or the description of this video. And when you go there, I want to tell you about two special rewards.
One is a podcast series a 12-part podcast series that I have just released; it was not previously on the rewards listed. And I have just released it. The only place that you will have access to this exclusive podcast series that I am doing starting in the fall of 2023 will be through this Kickstarter, I will not be for sale on my website, and I will not run a sale on it anytime. In 2023. It will only be for those people who donate at this particular tier that will receive this podcast. So this is the only place you can get it. Here's what it is. It's called the Oracle Speaks. In this 12-part series, I will be exploring the Divinitory nature of astrology. So the thesis of this series is that astrology isn't exactly an empirical science, that it's more like a form of divination, which means that if you want to become good at astrology or decent or serve your clients, well, then you have to develop a relationship and authentic relationship with the Oracle. Well, what the heck does that mean? What is an Oracle? What kind of intelligence or what kind of being is an Oracle? And how do you develop a relationship with it?
So in this 12-part series, I'm going to be exploring that claim and that idea that astrology is a divinatory story in nature, and I will be presenting it through unique client readings, interviews, history lessons, personal lessons from 13 years, and nearly 15,000 chart readings that I've done. And as we go along, we will be unpacking what does it mean to be a diviner? How do you develop a relationship with an Oracle? And so this series I poured a lot into this, and that's why I made it exclusive as people join people can join the 50,000 subscriber club. If you donate to pick this up, you will be one of the groups and exclusive group of people receiving that. So that's the first one.
The second one is a sale I'm offering if you bundle my courses together. So in all of the years I've been doing the Kickstarter, my prices for the Kickstarter and outside of the Kickstarter have largely remained the same. I thought, well, we should do something really special for people who want to go bananas taking my programs. So we put together the four-class package. I now offer one-year certification courses, year one Ancient Astrology for the Modern Mystic, year two Ancient Astrology for the Modern Mystic, the Horary program, and then have a practicum class called Readings and Passages. Those classes are all one year each. We also have the MasterClass series every year; we have Roots and Spheres.
So this is a bundle of four of those classes together, you could use any four classes you want, and you can redeem them at any point in time from 2023. And beyond. You can use them right away; you can keep them and use them later. You can use them whenever you want. And it takes the four classes down, if you bundle all four of them together, takes them down to 75% off the normal rate, which is 50% off even the early bird rate. So it is the, you know, it's the lowest price I've ever offered in, I guess, going on 13 years of professional work. And I thought, well, I'm gonna it's limited.
So there are only 50 of these available of these packages available. So if you want to take a really deep dive into studying astrology, this is the best deal you know I've ever offered. So I hope that some people will benefit from that and come study astrology. If you have any questions about that bundle, feel free to email us by the way. With any questions, I know it's going to be a big purchase for some people. So if you have any questions about it before you take advantage of that offer, email us info at nightlight astrology.com. Well, on that note, thank you, everybody. Again, really, really feeling grateful for what we've built here and, hopefully, what we'll continue to build and produce for you guys in the years ahead.
So today, let's put up the real-time clock and take a look at Jupiter's entrance into Aries. Alright, so here is Jupiter into Aries right on about December 20. What makes that unique is that just one day later, on the 21st, there is the sun at the winter solstice point. Now obviously, we're talking about the Northern Hemisphere perspective. So that's going to be your summer solstice if you're in the southern hemisphere, but either way, the sun crosses a solstice point into a square with Jupiter as it is crossing into that all-important zero Aries degree very, very powerful transit that kicks in right as we are facing a critical turning point. Now in my mind, the seasonal orientation of the Zodiac is symbolic and not to be taken literally. So what I really see here is I see the symbol within the Zodiacal orientation that ancient astrologers had. We're talking about the metaphor of light returning as Jupiter enters the last sign of winter in Pisces and into the first sign of spring, the start of the Zodiac, and the all-powerful initiating degree of zero Aries.
This is a kickass transit to have at the start of a new year. So I'm really excited about it. And I just want to present you guys with the top 10 themes that I am excited about or that I think people could get excited about. If you're like, hey, you know, I don't want you to blow a bunch of smoke up my, but I'd want to hear all about the dark sides, the shadow sides, go back in my archives and search Jupiter in Aries, what you'll find is multiple videos kind of doing a really well rounded, here's the light and dark side of Jupiter in Aries. So if you're like, you know, I kind of want, but today I'm just focusing on, here's what I why I think this is exciting. And I think it's okay to do that. As long as you don't act like that's, you know, it's going to be this way. And that's the only possible way that it could be. So this is just the take that's meant to be about the positive, uplifting potential of the transit. And it's not meant to be well-rounded in the sense that we're going to we're not really going to talk about the shadows in today's talk because I'm in a celebratory mood, I got some cake smashed on my face, and I'm feeling pretty excited, so so here we go.
Ten themes to get excited about when the return of the light begins from a sabbatical standpoint, and Jupiter, the great God, the Great Pacific, the God of abundance, fertility, growth, and expansion, enters that zero degrees of Aries marker in December here. So ten themes,
Number one, starting something new. I mean, it's super basic. But it couldn't be more true that when Jupiter hits zero degrees of Aries when any slower-moving planet hits zero Aries. New things begin because it is the quintessential degree and sign of spring of new beginnings and of birth. And so this is something being born, something being initiated. And most of the time, what comes with that, of course, just Just like the element of fire, is excitement, enthusiasm, enthusiasm, you guys heard me say this before it comes from the etymological roots. And Theo's, which means the God within when you're possessed by an archetype, and it's just surging through you. It can kind of feel manic at times; I don't. Yeah, I don't mean to say that disrespectfully; it means I mean, you can, there can be like a divine mania that can just pour through. So starting something new with a lot of excitement behind it, that's theme number one.
Theme number two is gaining confidence. So in any area of life, a lot of the time, half of the halfway to solving a problem in some area of life is gaining the confidence needed to do whatever we have to do to get the job done or to get the problem solved. I have found in working with clients over the years that a lot of what people struggle with is just gaining the confidence to do what they know they're capable of, just needing some encouragement, you know, an encouragement, also, the word core from encourage speaks to what's in the heart. So the idea of the God within and also something igniting within the heart and it gives you confidence. So you know, to walk with a sense of heart-filled strength. That is exciting. That's, and I think that is the exciting side of this transit.
Number three is taking healthy risks. So a healthy risk, I'm not going to define for like, oh, astrologer, Adam is the list of things that are held, you know, you should risks that you should take and shouldn't take, you know, but you know what that is your conscience knows what that is. And when Jupiter enters Aries, there is this sense of, like, okay, I have to push Mike some chips into the center of the table; you know, there's a gamble in being alive. There's a gamble and doing what you love; there's a gamble in making a change; there's a gamble that when you start something new when you have the confidence to do something, you're like a little, you know, you're a little bit of a live wire. So but taking like taking a step forward with some sense of there's risk, it requires courage and confidence.
Number four is pioneering, blazing a trail doing your own damn thing. I thought it was really interesting. For example, a lot of you guys know that I sort of left the religious community that I was a part of and a monastic-like initiation name that I was given. Well, one of the things that triggered that from an astrological perspective or reflected that I should say, from an astrological perspective, was Jupiter in Aries, opposing the ruler of my ninth house place of religion. And there was this overwhelming feeling that I was ready to go, so fly solo for a little bit. And I've looked back at the transit every time Jupiters entered Aries and oppose my ninth house ruler have been interesting times in my life where I departed a religious, spiritual community group, teacher school, or something like that in order to take a step in the end of in the process of individuating. Individuation. Yeah. So pioneering, you have to take a step forward, that's utterly you; you have to blaze a trail that's your own, and there's kind of a doing my own damn thing.
Number five would be vigor and energy. So vigor and energy just mean that you're, there's a sense of fire coming in. fire animates us and makes us feel more alive. And it's contagious. It could be coming from someone or something around you that fills you with fire and motivates you. So I think, watch for that watch for being filled with vigor and energy and force, that maybe you don't know where it's going yet, maybe there's not a trail or something new that you're starting or a healthy risk you need to take, but maybe you're just feeling a surge of energy, and it's about just allowing that energy to make you happy or to start developing something that you know, between now and May, when Jupiter spends the rest of its time in Aries at some point will catch fire and then there'll be a step or something that you start so it doesn't have to happen right away, but you might feel an upsurge of vigor and energy when Jupiter enters Aries. That's something to watch for.
Number six would be positive leaders or leadership. When Jupiter enters Aries, it can be very easy for someone that is charismatic and doing something that standout or individual and unique, and special. And you go like, I'm following that woman. Do you know what I mean? Like, that lady, she's on fire, you know, and that's something interesting, an author, or you know, but something that says that If that person is doing something and I want to follow it, I want to emulate it, I want to learn from it. I remember when I was in graduate school and in my MFA program in creative writing, I would find an author that I loved. And then I would read everything they wrote. And then, I would emulate their style of writing, which a lot of students do in any kind of art students will often do as they're developing their own voice and style. And this was like that, you know, I just think it's really interesting that, you know, that there were some really strong Jupiter transits taking place at that time in my life, not Jupiter in Aries, but some Jupiter in fire. Anyway, the point is that I think that when Jupiter is in a fire sign, there can be something contagious about people who are doing, doing something that you're like, Hmm, that, you know, so watch for that.
Or you might be the one that trendsetter; you might be the one who is stepping up or stepping out and acting as a leader in some capacity. One warning that I will put in here, I don't want to poop in the swimming pool. But, um, but it's true. Sometimes you will start multiple things with a planet entering Aries will often plant a bunch of seeds, but only a few of them will grow or sprout. And so, just be patient with the process because sometimes there's a process of trial and error with what you start. And that's the only little caveat I'll give. Now.
Number seven, decisive, assertive, aggressive, you know, for people who tend to be more passive, receptive, relational, Jupiter in Aries can be super uncomfortable. But it can also be really nice to just feel like, you know, you walk in, and you're maybe like, it's like, what do you want for dinner? And you're, you know, you're like chicken and potatoes. Dammit. Like, what? You know, usually, if I asked you what you want for dinner, just like if someone really act like that and said that, would that be the best? But if something like, if, if someone, you if you were used to asking someone that question, they were like, I don't know, like, what do you want? You know, like, let's think about it together, what are our options, but if someone just comes in, they're like jello, a whole bowl. You'd be like, Whoa; you'd be kind of so it's, but it's, it feels good to have that you may make some other people feel a little uncomfortable. But don't be surprised if you also inspire other people. Again, I think Aries energy is really, really contagious. When people start feeling bit by that bug of confidence decisive, it's a youthful sign too.
So it doesn't; it doesn't usually. Aries can but doesn't usually feel like, you know, someone's trying to bully you. In fact, Aries are notoriously good at defending people from bullies. But there's a kind of a youthful, naive assertiveness, just right off the top, I want the bowl of jello you've asked, and so that's what I want. Whoa, you know.
So, number eight is fighting, protecting, and advocating. So you may feel the need to fight to protect something or advocate for something. And that can be a very empowering thing to feel. Now I would; I would caution or warn to, you know, not get into like a tendency to want to be aggressive or to fight for fighting sake. But if there's a cause, if there's a right, if there's a dignity of someone or yourself, if there's something that needs advocating for, then you know, this energy can be really supportive of that.
Number nine. Now listen, this one, to me, is good. Consider that we've had like six years of Jupiter going through the dark half of the Zodiac, which means it is on the side of the solar year where there's more darkness in the 24-hour period, and there is light, and this is again considering the archetypal orientation of the Zodiac seasonally, which does not mean we don't take it literally.
So this is applicable to anyone anywhere. But consider that from Libra all the way up to Pisces, Jupiter's been in the dark half of the year. So when you're Jupiter's always bringing lessons and things that grant a greater sense of coherence and unity, Zeus is also the hand of cosmic justice and sometimes the heavy fist of cosmic justice, so it's not always easy to you can lose track of the fact that we haven't had the bright Jupiter we've had the underworld Jupiter's directly speaking for like six years. Not only that, but we've had five years of or so of Saturn in Saturn-ruled signs. Saturn is about to enter a Jupiter-ruled sign, and Jupiter is about to enter the light half of the Zodiac.
So just think about that. This is the beginning when we hit This winter solstice moment of the end of a long period of heaviness that we've been dealing with. Now that beginning of the end will take place between, say, the winter solstice around December 20 21st, all the way through about April May, when Jupiter there's some important Jupiter transits the sun Jupiter can join, for example, start a new synoptic cycle between them we have some eclipses Jupiter changes signs into Taurus Saturn moves into Pisces, all like March, April, May.
So we are at the beginning of the end of a long period of heaviness. And the energy is going to shift dramatically into more spring-like Jupiterian qualities from Saturn to Jupiter itself. So you can think to yourself, What do I have to look forward to in the next month, the beginning of the end of a long period of happiness? Why? Because we're starting something new. We're gaining confidence, we're taking healthy risks, we're pioneering, we've got vigor and energy, there's positive leaders or leadership qualities in the air, we're being decisive, we're being assertive or being aggressive. There's fighting, protecting, and advocating with boldness, see what I mean.
Number 10 is the return of hope. Now, in spring, I'm not someone who, like I don't necessarily think it's a good thing to go around being hopeful all the time. In fact, I think it'd be, like, really annoying. But I'm also someone who thinks that you know, like, everything has its season. And it's time. And it's been a while since one of the more contagious energies in the air has been hope. Now, maybe for some of you listening to this, like not for me, you know, like I'm, I'm walking on sunshine. Cool, if that's you.
But what I'm saying is, what I'm saying is for a lot of people, they are going to experience the shift that I just mentioned, as the return of spring-like youthful energy, a lot of that will mean I'm just feeling hopeful about life again, maybe that means useful, or hopeful or new. There are a lot of different ways of saying it. But I think I'm not suggesting all the darkness that we've been dealing with historically or collectively goes away or transforms overnight. I'm not that naive. I'm just saying personally you will feel a shift when set in March when Saturn goes into a Jupiter-ruled sign, and Jupiter is now in the light half of the Zodiac going into Taurus, where it will then share a sextile with Saturn for the next year. For a lot of people, they're going to experience that as significantly more uplifting. And one of the byproducts of that is just a subtle feeling from time to time that I'm just feeling more hopeful. So I am hopeful that you will feel that way. And then I will too. I think these are the best things we have to look forward to from Jupiter re-entering Aries. And so I just thought, let's you know, let's, let's give a celebratory talk about an exciting transit on a day of celebration.
Again, I can't thank you guys enough; we hit 50,000 subscribers. You know, I don't know what like the next milestone, 100,000.
