Learning to See Obvious Things in Birth Charts: Part Three

Hi, everyone, this is Acyuta-bhava from Nightlight Astrology. And today I'm finishing a three part series on how to identify obvious things in birth charts when you're looking at the birth chart, and whatever you're looking for, it doesn't appear like it's very obvious. So for example, in the chart that I'm going to show you today, this individual had a sibling that became relatively famous, and then lost his life, unfortunately. So this is also a student of astrology who came and said, I can't see it in my chart, where is it? I'm on vacation at the moment. So today's video is actually super short. This is just a brief technique that I want to illustrate. So kind of short and sweet today. But here's the chart on the screen. And this is a concept that you can apply really, in any, you know, any chart that you're reading, it'll work. I've gotten so much mileage out of this particular technique. So, you know, let's just start by looking at the third house of siblings, which is where you might start looking for a story like this, someone says, hey, look, you know, I'm sorry, I can't see it. I had a sibling, he became quite successful. And, you know, relatively famous. Not, you know, famous relative, but, you know, obviously, some people are going to rise to, I don't know, Tom Cruise heights. You know, not quite that famous, but famous enough, this person was in some TV shows, stuff like that, but ended up dying very young. And sort of tragically. So thanks to my client for giving me the permission here. And let me just show you how we can see this.

So first of all, we look at the third house of siblings, and you're going to notice that the ruler is the sun, so the sun is in the fifth house in its fall. Now that might give you some clue on its own, we can also see that Mars is opposing the sun, the two have just separated from an exact opposition, which if I'm looking at this, I'm not immediately looking at that and going there's the death of a sibling, son and it's fall in the fifth house of creativity Okay, this person was a creative artist, they rose to prominence as an artist. So ruler of the third in the fifth that makes some sense that the sibling was an artist ruler of the third in the fifth and in its fall, okay, this person fell on hard times, partially due to you know, drinking too much, this was kind of loosely related to their to their death. I'll just put it that way. I'm trying to keep this anonymous and according to what my clients said they were comfortable with me sharing. Now here's what's really interesting about this, though, is that even even the Mars opposition, right the Mars opposition to the Sun, okay, that that speaks to me about hardship or conflict, or strife or difficulties relative maybe to the sibling, if the sibling is being represented by the third house ruler, the son. So all of that gets me close. But here's something that you'll see time and time again in charts and it gets overlooked. Watch for planets that are in the third house, or the ruler of the third that's about to change its dignity dramatically. So for example, here we have Venus in Leo in the third house can about to conjoin the fixed star Regulus which is an indication of fame. It's a famous star, it's a fame making star, it has a lot of a lot of people that with Regulus will achieve a lot or will have, you know, they'll be in the spotlight somehow or something like that. So you're seeing Venus moving on to Regulus. But what is Venus just about to do. Venus is about to enter its fall. Not only that, but it's picking up. It's just picking up a Trine from the eighth house ruler of death, Saturn, and then moving into its fall in the fourth house. Now when I combine that with the Sun opposing Mars, I can see it. So if this were me at the outset of a session, I would wonder about this - not that I would necessarily at the top of my list go Oh, you must have had a sibling that, you know rose to great fame and died like I don't think I would have gotten that I like to be honest with people. But what I can see is that Venus is going to go through a dramatic shift. Whatever Venus represents in the third house in Leo is pretty looks pretty grand and flashy, and then hits that hard time as we go as it goes into Virgo, which by the way is happening this week.

So one of the reasons I chose this chart is because we're actually going to see a repeat of this in this week's astrology which I'll be visiting at the end of this week, so at any rate, Venus switches into Virgo later this evening. I'll be covering a video on that tomorrow. But this is an interesting chart that actually tracks out that transition in terms of how that how that simple transition in the sky which you and I might miss, it's a passing phenomenon. But how that phenomenon in a birth chart could indicate a major shift in a lifetime really. So at any rate, that along with the third house ruler being opposite Mars is really how it told the story.
