Hey everyone, this is Acyuta-bhava from Nightlight Astrology and today we are going to take a look at Mercury's conjunction with Mars in the sign of virgo, which is coming up over the course of the next few days. And we will also sneak preview the sun's opposition with Jupiter, which I'll be doing a full video on tomorrow. So let's go ahead and open up the real time clock and take a look. Hopefully you guys had a chance yesterday to check out the interview I did with one of my yoga mentors, Hari kitana das. He's got an upcoming class on the Bhagavad Gita that I highly recommend checking out. So you can check out the video I did yesterday, if you want to learn more about it, and learn a little bit more about the Gita. And here we go should be able to see the real time clock on the screen actually need to put in my outer planets right now. And the main thing that we're talking about today is the conjunction of mercury who is currently in its own domicile and exalted in the sign of virgo, and is going to be conjoining, Mars, Mars who is also in Virgo, and let's watch how that is going to actually play out. So today's Tuesday, August 7, Tuesday, August 17. So if we move this forward a day, we're going to see that tomorrow, you can almost see them conjoining at the same degree, pull that forward to Thursday, they're still at the same degree, but Mercury is passed over. Friday, finally, we see the separation really pulling away. But let's give it a three degree range, you can see all the way through Saturday. So that means that our Mercury Mars conjunction in Virgo, which has already been building for a few days, by the way, so anything we talked about today, you could have noticed, even over the weekend, this is going to perfect on Tuesday, the 17th, Wednesday, the 18th, Thursday, the 19th, even Friday, the 20th. So, a big transit.
2:16
One of the reasons that I circled this on my calendar at the beginning of the year when I was doing all of the transits for 2021 is that it's a very powerful Mercury. And these two planets when they can join with one another with mercury so well dignified, can give some really powerful results. The other thing that's so special about this is that Mercury is just appearing as the evening star right now. So if you remember earlier in the summer, we went through a long Mercury Retrograde. And so back and forth Mercury goes. And now we have mercury appearing again as the evening star. How do you How can you tell that it's the evening star? So here you can see that Mercury, Mercury and Mars are in the seventh house, and they're below the actual horizon line at the moment. But I'm just using this as an example, we'll pretend that the seventh house is generally above the horizon, you can see that the sun is below. So after the sun has set below that horizon line, there's Mercury up in the sky. So you can always tell if Mercury is out in front of the Sun in Zodiacal order. And it's in its Evening Star phase, but you can't usually can't see it unless it's approximately 15 degrees away from the Sun. And when it's retrograding, of course, it's going to be falling back into the sun. And if it's direct, it's going to be typically moving away from the Sun and further ahead in Zodiacal order.
3:52
So this is significant because Mercury is showing itself in the evening sky, kind of the newly born Evening Star conjoining with Mars in the sign of its own domiciled in the sign of its own exaltation. And this is also happening, let's remember that another transit, which we're going to be talking about tomorrow is happening, which is the sun in Leo moving into an opposition with Jupiter. Now that transit is going to perfect at the same time that the mercury Mars transit is perfecting. So we're going to talk about that today and then do a separate video focusing on the archetype of combination of sun and Jupiter a little bit more tomorrow, but that transit will perfect Thursday through Friday of this week to the 19th and 20th of August. And that's happening right as I mean really, especially on the 19th you're going to see that mercury Mars conjunction, passing through, and then the sun goes right into the opposition with Jupiter. So it's a pretty big week in terms of these two transits perfecting simultaneously and what that might mean So let's go ahead and talk about it have a bunch of notes for us today, some thoughts, gonna do a little deeper meditation on this combination. After we introduce the basic archetypal combinations. So here you have Mercury, a god that's associated with anything from merchants to rhetoric and speech, communication, technology, skill and craftsmanship, games, anything that would involve say, like wrestling or anything that would involve like court games, things that go back and forth, like a hockey puck. And you also have a god that was associated with highways and travel, and also currency and marketplaces. As well as things like the mind and analytical, you know, analytical thinking in a, in a general sense.
5:50
So Mercury is a really dynamic planet. And Mercury is also a planet that is changing all the time, a lot like the moon. It's very fast moving like the moon. And it's always moving out into the evening sky, dying and going to the underworld coming up as the morning star, dying and going back through the underworld coming up as the evening star it retrogrades more often than any other planet. So Mercury is the quintessential shapeshifter. And if there's anything that's related to both understanding how things work, but also the nature of chaos that is constantly taking things apart, or throwing things into question, or pulling things apart, and then putting putting them back together in a sense, that's mercury Mercury's got its associated with that's natural opposite in Zodiac is Jupiter, the mercury ruled signs are opposite the Jupiter ruled sign so Virgo opposite Pisces which is ruled by Jupiter, Gemini opposite Sagittarius also ruled by Jupiter. So the masculine and feminine domiciles of Mercury are opposite the masculine and feminine domiciles of Jupiter. And those two planets have a lot to do with deconstruction and reconstruction, Jupiter a little bit more of the building a whole building a unified something, whereas Mercury tends to be about taking apart but they go together, you can't have one without the other. So Mercury is associated with that as a taking of things apart, and the construction of think like you think of people who have to, they take apart a car in order to understand how it's put together. So Mercury is associated also with phases or times in life where things are getting taken apart, but it's usually also going to be a part of an eventual reconstruction. So that's a little bit about Mercury. Mars, of course, the God of War cutting, severing confidence, aggressiveness, also belligerence. Mars is the heat and inflammation of a fever, or a rash. But Mars is also the, the knives that people use if they're like a chef, or a surgeon. So Mars can be related to things like chemistry or anything analytical that cuts and dissects things.
8:17
From a mental standpoint, Mercury was associated when it was with Mars with math and science, for example, because of the executive and analytical qualities of the mercury Mars combination. So let's get into some of those archetypal combinations. Now, when you put Mercury and Mars together, especially with such a well dignified Mercury, it's in its own home sign, it's also its exaltation. There's some interesting, esoteric reasons for the placement of mercury having both a domicile and excitation in the same sign. If you take my course you could learn more about that. Intelligence, wit, decisive action. Mars-Mercury, tech crimes, cyber security, anything involving technology, and thievery or technology and doing something illegal or aggressive, that disruptive. Tech crime, cyber security, anything any kind of accident that might happen we'll do something doing something Mercurial, travelling, walking, playing a game. Sometimes you're going to see mercury Mars a little bit more accident prone, sharp tongued and witty, so it can be fun, clever, but also it could be a representation of verbal abuse or some kind of verbal altercation. It's an analytical combination, which means that Mercury and Mars like to cut and dissect and to learn craft or skill or craftsmanship. Through cutting and piecing things together, taking things apart. Mars likes to cut and sever again and Mercury loves to throw things into throw things up in the air or question things Then you also have something like skill or craft in a trade that uses something martial, like a martial art or like a what could you say? Something that uses cutlery, butchers, you know Warcraft, this kind of thing. But also games any any kind of athletic skill or ability that needs to be developed. You could see specific, like, something that's more amplified in the world of sports, for example, also deals when there's an aggressive offer or trade or when there's something that's being promoted or trying to be sold aggressively through rhetoric and speech and persuasion. So you think of Mercury Mars, you think of persuasive speech, aggressive speech, but maybe one with a goal or a desire that you're trying to get something done or, or reach some kind of agreement using tactful strategy. So Mercury, Mars is about strategy, war, warfare and the strategy of warfare, for example, The Art of War, for example, a book very Mercury, Mars, anyone who's independently minded or saying, This is my own original thought, and also people who might steal thoughts like thought policing or thought, you know, like mental, like surveillance, you know, kind of like anything that could be done in order to manipulate other people's minds or thoughts in an aggressive way. These are all mercury Mars potentials.
11:40
You can also think about someone saying, I'm not going to be persuaded I'm not going to do this thing. I'm independently minded, strong actions, plans or strategies, again, different kinds of theft that can come up. So these are some of the end it can be kind of explosive. Like you can see mercury things sort of exploding like a company, God forbid, like a computer exploding, or I don't know some something where you're pairing like a subway car that derails or something like this, again, God forbid, but anything that's involving transit or travel, like a bicycle accident, or, or buying a new bicycle, or learning how to speed race or something like that, mercury, Mars. So these are some of the archetypal combinations to watch for as the week unfolds. Now, as always, if you have a story that matches with any of these before we go into our deeper meditation for the day here. Before we do that, if you have a story, put hashtag grabbed in the comment section, put mercury Mars conjunction, and feel free to share your story. Love to hear it, if you prefer to email it to us, you can email us at grabbed@nightlight astrology.com we don't respond to those emails, but they if you send them to us just know that we will, without using your name, we may use your writing and share your story in a future episode. So watch for those combinations this week.
13:12
You know, one of the things that it was funny because just a few stories from my own life about this combination that I've noticed recently as it's just degree away from perfecting now is that one a new exercise diet regimen has been in my life just starting in the past week. And it's like you know, one of the things about this particular combination of Mercury and Mars is earthy Virgo so a lot about getting clear, pure, clean results effective strategies for getting something done in a very practical earthy manner like your health or your body or the environment or organising something so I've been organising things in our bathrooms like I've been you know we moved in and then just kind of some bathrooms just kind of stuff just got thrown in. So I've been like organising and buying some organising things and like, you know, kind of kind of tweaking my diet and my exercise routine like I've noticed that those kinds of earthy practical activities are present right now they certainly you know, they come in like that. So the other thing that I noticed was my youngest, Pisces moon, my little Summer and you know it's funny thing about summer is the the Pisces moon, Leo sun. This is a funny combination because I don't know if any of you guys have that combination of their Sun and Leo moon in Pisces. You know, she's can be so strong and like bold. But then if there's like a certain level of like pushback, she becomes really sensitive. So last night as mercury Mars are perfecting my wife and I are sitting up late talking after the kids are in bed, we're sitting there talking about, you know, effective communication strategies for helping her deal with fear, anger, extreme emotions, right as Mercury is conjoining Mars, we're talking about our parenting strategy. And you know, in very specific situations. So anyway, that was it was good. We had to obviously get on the same page with how we're dealing with that they say it's terrible twos. I think that's I think that's BS. Personally, I will tell you that three to four for my first daughter, and now for Summer both seem to be the most challenging. And then it's like, you hit this sweet spot once you get around four, maybe four and a half. Like my other daughter, Gigi, she's five, now. We're going on six, five and a half. Now she's in this sweet spot where she always wants to help. She's really sweet. She's much less problematic. She's got a little bit more development under her belt, you know, mood, mind, emotions, whatever. But anyway, my theory is that three to four is more difficult. But you if you guys are parents, tell me what you think.
16:10
Anyway, today, I decided to get back to something I haven't done for a while, some of you guys who've been watching my channel for probably over a year would know that. Sometimes I like to bring in the I Ching. And what I do during my, you know, my morning routine, people who know, you know, I usually get up in the morning, and I do my meditation, I work out, I sit down, I prepare what I'm going to do for the day for my talk, I give my talk, or you know, make my video or whatever. Then in the afternoon, I see clients, develop curriculum, whatever the case might be, whatever is on the list for the day, you know, the seeing clients in the afternoon after I've done this whole routine in the morning, and I've been doing that for years. So that's kind of that's what keeps me sane. And that's part of my monastic life, you could say, it's funny in the yoga tradition. People are often like, you know, you're a monk, but you're, you know, you have a family, you have a wife. There's different stages in life that people who take vows and take initiation in the Bhakti tradition go through one of them's called the greenhouse to ashram, which is sort of like, that's a stage where you're practising monastic life, but you are married, and you have kids, because monastic life is not just for people who go off to the woods, you know, of course, it's for all people. And depending on what stage of life you're in, there's different ways of being a monk, you know, there's different ways of dealing with that commitment.
17:42
So, at any rate, another thing that I was talking about, is the most effective strategies for managing time, money, energy resources, given the different priorities that we have your monastic commitments are up here, your marriage and family are up here, your health. And then you have like other things, then how do you manage the other things, you can't just ignore the other things, but at the same time, you have to effectively use your resources so that your daily practices don't fall down your relationship with your kids, your spouse doesn't start to get neglected. So another thing that I've been talking about with my guru lately, and some of my mentors, is how to manage energy and resources and time in the most practical way, given all these different priorities, very Mercury, Mars.
18:36
So anyway, I use the I Ching. And typically, what I do with the I Ching, in the morning, after these practices, is to ask the I Ching, what is the wisdom that you would provide or what is there to learn or know, that would be helpful about this particular planetary conjunction that's in the sky. And then oftentimes, I'll leave those, those, the reading that comes back from the eaching. I'll weave it into my content for the day. So I want to tell you about the reading that I got today for Mercury, Mars and Virgo. And I loved this, it was so beautiful. So the first hexagram that came back, if you don't know the I Ching is like the oldest of the Chinese classics. And it is something that eventually goes from a sort of philosophical treatise about the, you know, nature of reality and different different kinds of insights about different kinds of seasons and experiences in life. It goes into eventually to be used as like a diviners, almost like biblio Mansi, you know, like flip a page in the Bible. It's a little bit like that. Little bit more elaborate, but, and this ends up happening. I mean, it's very old, but it's like the last 500 years BCE. so that it becomes more of a diviners manual. So at any rate, the I Ching has 64 hexagrams combinations of yin and yang lines, or six line figures that are combinations of yin or Yang. And they sort of map out different archetypal stages or phases of life and the wisdom for, for dealing with those phases. So you draw a hexagram. And oftentimes, there'll be lines that change and lead to a second hexagram sometimes it's just one hexagram. And that will offer you some kind of commentary or advice or almost like a mental an object for the mind to sit with and contemplate in relation to a problem or question. And so I will do this with the transits.
20:52
At any rate, so the first hexagram I got for today was number 25. And this hexagram is called sometimes it's called innocence, these different translators will have different names for them, but, um, so innocence. And one of the things I love about innocence is that it's the, the hexagrams have like images associated with with them. So there's six lines, and then they're broken into two sets of three lines each. And the top line in hexagram 25, which is sometimes called innocence. The top three lines are heaven, and the bottom three lines are thunder and thunder is associated with like action and life. And, you know, the desire or intention to do something like thunder means like, having somewhere to go and like doing something and stirring up action and stuff like that undertakings. Heaven would be like the supreme law of the cosmos of the gods, that, that either can, you know, squash something, or lift something up, it's sort of heaven is like, almost like the idea of there being like a supreme divine law and the cosmos close approximation and who has my understanding so far. So at any rate, hexagram 25 basically says, If you act innocently, making step by step, careful, cautious progress, you will, you'll have success. Put it like this. If you want to do something, remember thunders on the bottom action. If you want to do something very Mars, like you have a plan, you have a strategy, you want to implement it, you want to go and do something, that if you act without the mandate of heaven, it will invite disaster or calamity and assign that someone has the mandate of heaven. Like what does it look like when someone sort of has the gods or the divine at their back, they've got the winds of destiny at their back helping them along. One of the signs of such a person is that they move cautiously, modestly, step by step toward a goal. In a sense, every step that they take, they're watching heaven, the stars, the gods, I mean, I'm looking upward, but you know, it's just figurative. We're taking step by step and they're going, Is this okay? Okay. seems okay. I'm going to take the next step. Okay, I'm careful. I'm considering Am I harming anyone? Am I doing okay, what are my motivations? Here's this. Is this Do I have is their virtue with me right now? Doesn't have to be no one's perfect. But we're, we're trying our best to be in alignment with the Dow. We take that step by step, careful, modest advancement. In essence, we're looking up and saying is this all right? Okay, good. I'm gonna take another step. Okay, good. That's actually the sign or symptom of someone who already has the mandate of heaven is that they're acting and behaving in that way. And that the door is being open to one who is acting and behaving that way and they don't there's no pretence, misbehaviour or undeserved expectation they're not like oh yeah, the doors opening I can just go you know, it's not like that. They're the people who progress the smoothest have innocence behind the modesty, they're careful and they're concerned, I want to make sure that I'm in alignment with the world with the earth with my, my friends, or my family or with the people I care about or with myself, you know, am I doing something that's going to create more stress than I need? so careful, cautious, modest step by step advancement is the symptom of someone who's progressing with heaven at their back with heaven supporting them and heaven again, being sort of like the gods or Divine Will.
25:02
So, people with Mercury Mars right now, the advice here, as far as I can tell is that it's, it's pragmatic, careful, modest, step by step advancement with a concern for the purity of what we're doing, and not thinking or doing what is undeserved, or pretentious or calculated in a selfish way. You have to be really careful because Mercury Mars can also be the sign of someone who's real smart and witty, and is planning something out that with a real look an ulterior motive, they can wear the garb of innocence because Virgo can often appear that way, hey, I'm just trying to be helpful here. So pragmatic, no pretension. And refraining from thinking or doing what is undeserved with modest step by step cautious advancement, leads to promotion, it leads to success that leads to smooth progress, it leads to practical, helpful results. Isn't that really a beautiful teaching? That if you if you can kind of imagine that what you're doing, and that you're not assuming all the doors open, I have the right to do whatever I want. I have a good strategy. So of course, it'll work. There's just this unconsciousness that slips in around an attitude like that, and I can, I can totally be guilty of this, especially when you think you have a really good idea that everyone will like or there'll be really helpful, then you just assume that it should work, we still need to take that that careful step by step approach, as though we're submitting ourselves to a third party's decision, as we go along with our own will, that were our wills in concert with the will of the Divine. This hexagram is often about cultivating something with the right sense of timing. So the right sense of timing, there's like, an innate rhythm, can you feel that it's maybe an instinct more than it is trying to appease or get the approval of, you know, an old man in the sky or something like that. But still, there's a sense, there's a felt sense that comes and, and maybe that's even a better word than cautious or careful which might be to like, might almost seem like fearful. But there's a sacred fear that we have to, you know, when you're learning a rhythm instrument, or you're learning how to play rhythm guitar or something, you know, there's a sense of when you're hitting the rhythm and when you're not. And you have to pay attention to it.
27:40
And there's a feeling of like, it's not quite there, okay. Okay, there it is. Okay, there it is. And if you think about it too much, then suddenly you start thinking about it, and you get off. So it's not totally correct to say that there's a kind of sacred fear involved in learning how to walk carefully and in in sync in the right timing with something. But it's not the same thing as saying that we need to be obsessive mentally about whether or not we're approved up or something like that. But there is a sense in which again, cautious, careful, modest step by step advancement is heaven supporting me and am I in right step in my in rhythm, we need to be thinking about these things, especially when we're getting that Mars, Mercury burst with a really powerful Mercury. Interesting that line three was changing in this hexagram, line three, it shows a person an ox, who is tethered at the roadside roadside, that was led off, it was taken away by a passer by, but a villager is convicted undeservedly and unexpectedly, because he, he or she is blamed for this ox being taken, when in fact, it was just some random person walking down the road who took off with it. So one of the messages of this hexagram over and over is that, look, if you are someone who thinks that you're owed things that you don't really deserve, or goes after things that you don't really deserve, or tries to appear innocent and doing things like for the good of others, or I have such good motivations, and it's really selfishly about you, that you can eventually experience an undeserved calamity because you're feigning this idea of being innocent, that later things that appear to you that feel like you were innocent, how could you possibly have had anything you know, how can you possibly deserve someone blaming you about something that you didn't do? How could you deserve that? Well, part of this is saying, Yeah, well, that's why you have to be careful about going after things that you don't deserve or not. Being aware of whether or not it's appropriate to receive or have something or whatever. So the other message here, which is a little different, is that even even if you have an innocent attitude, it's not an insurance policy. I mean, it's a good idea to have an innocent attitude. You can't use the idea of innocence as some kind of safeguard, right? From calamity. Because we also live in a world where, you know, just because you're like, Okay, I'm cautious. I'm trying to remain innocent, trying to do the right thing. You know, like, I have good intentions. I'm not trying to hurt or offend anyone like this, this overly cautious attitude, it's good. And it's the kind of attitude we need to move forward with. Goals, plans, intentions, because that's, that's the candour of a cosmic citizen. That's the, that's a sign that you're like a mature spirit soul. But it doesn't mean that, that you're doing that just to avoid calamity, like some people do that, like superstitiously. And this line is also saying like, you can't do it in a way that's superstitious because calamities happened to people who are innocent, that's a part of because other people, because in this cosmos, other people will try to take things that they don't deserve, or that isn't theirs, or that they're trying to do something, and it's an act of thievery, or whatever the case might be. So you know, you that is part of reality. And the reason for being modest, careful, practical, step by step, trying to go with the Tao is not superstitiously, so that you'll be bulletproof. Right? Because things will still happen. So that's one of the messages of the sign really beautiful teachings, right. The next part of this is that, then the line five is also changing in hexagram 25.
32:40
To act according to what is right in the presence of others who are sick, or contagious with some bad energy, there will be no need to take medicine, you won't be infected, as long as you act carefully and righteously we want that's the complete opposite of what we just said. So here's the other thing is that it says nag and actually one of the byproducts of acting righteously, is that when you're around other people who are acting unrighteously or who are sick, sick is could be literal sick could be a way of saying that they're infected by some disease of, you know, morality, that that or that they are, that they have pretension, ulterior motives, lack of modesty, that they're rash or something like that, that when you're in the presence of people who are like that, there will be no need for you to take medicine, and you won't be infected so long as you act carefully and righteously. So, we have almost like, different images here. Let me put it this way. There's like, this is something I learned from the Iosco world years ago, when I was drinking loads of ayahuasca. And not kind of learning in that paradigm. Sometimes people would be like, you know, I would be with someone, let's say, you know, I don't know, I'm, I, let's say that I have, I don't know, like my hip hurts or something. And I'm with someone like, Oh, you should really get that checked out. Oh, that could be this that could be that. And I could feel they're just they're going into fear. Okay, at this moment, here's what I was taught. There are a couple of different responses I could have. I might know in myself that it's, I don't think it's that big of a deal. But it would be problematic for me to be like, you know, like, I'm careful. I'm cautious. I'm sort of virtuous. I'm doing my best. So I'm bulletproof. Right? I'm bulletproof. And I scoff at the person like don't let the negative Thoughts manifest negative things, you know, it's all in your head. It's all fear. Don't let the negative thoughts manifest negative things. That attitude is often exactly what leads to the hip having a serious problem or is like a symptom of it actually having a serious problem. Or it's a it's a pride that comes before a fall. On the other hand, in that situation, if I act carefully and modestly again and say, yeah, you might be right, I'll have to think that over. Thank you. Thank you. And I really do think it over and I think, is there a serious problem? No one, I'm gonna give it two days, and three days or something, and, and, you know, my hips still bothering me. Then, you know, maybe maybe Heaven is sending me someone to raise my alarm a little bit, maybe I'm taking it too lightly. Right? And then in two days, three days, because I've been cautious and careful and considerate, and not pompous about my own innocence or my own. Like, I'm bulletproof from, you know, manifesting negative things, or whatever it is, a couple of days later. What do you know, I hit feels better. It wasn't a big deal. Do you see what I mean? So there's these two very different teachings that are so interesting, when juxtaposed with one another. The main one being, look, you can't feign an innocent attitude or take up an innocent attitude as a kind of superstition as a bulletproof way of avoiding negative things, or it will if I'm in check with the universe, and you know, I'm nothing negative will manifest? Well, no, because undeserved calamities happen to innocent people, because people can go and think and think about and desire things that they don't deserve. So that can happen to you, it can happen to me. And we don't, we don't act innocently. We're not careful and modest and humble, because we think guarantees us some kind of bullet professed. On the other hand, if you're careful, and consistent with being careful and modest in all circumstances, there's also a way in which you don't get sick, and you people who are contagious with something roll off, maybe roll off from you. So even our sense of kind of, I'm pure, I'm careful. I'm you know, I'm not in any danger here that can become proud we can get proud and high on that, too.
37:38
I just think those teachings in the I Ching are so beautiful, especially that they're paired right next to each other, then the next hexagram is hexagram 30: igniting This is what it changes into. So how do we stay innocent? How do we maintain innocence? How do we develop the real thing? Well, hexagram 30, in juxtaposition to 25 tells us it all depends on what we claim to here's the picture of fire and what it clings to like wood or, you know, some kind of fuel. So the quality of what we cling to in our lives is the quality of what keeps us righteous or innocent. So, there are some prescriptions that the eaching gives to us, that the thing that we need to cling to, has to be righteous, not like self righteous, but righteous as in it has to be good. It has to be true, it has to be beautiful. And that we we need something like this at the core of our lives as what is what fuels our ability to stay in careful modest balance with with harmony with the universe. What we cling to is how we stay in an innocent and it has to be righteous, and then it has to be carried out with heartfelt submission. Isn't that a beautiful phrase heartfelt submission, heartfelt submission is not submission as in your worthless bow down.
39:12
Submission etymologically means referring to a third party for judgement or decision I'm not my will is not the measure of all things here. I don't even know all the time. What's good for me, I don't even know exactly what I need. I don't even know what the right decision is a lot of the time. So I asked for help regularly. In my heart, I asked the presence of my guides my higher self, God, whatever word you feel comfortable with. You know, for me, I talk to Krishna, or am I talk to Lord Chaitanya. It's another manifestation of Krishna in the Bhakti tradition, or Lord, Lord and stringer de Ville that like a lion, a man lion God, incarnation of Lord Vishnu and and pray To me, like, what should I do? Talk to mentors, I listened inwardly what is you know, there's a still presence of wisdom in our own heart and soul, and we can hear it. So you know that something is righteous or good. Because it, it contributes to your life a sense of wholeness of virtue, it keeps you in line. And you have to refer to it like a third party, if the, with your heart submit, and ask for help and be in alignment with it. Submission also means lowering, letting down or sinking. So when you think about submission, you're also just thinking about, like, in that situation where the person might be way more worried about my hip than they need to be. I don't try to you know, I, in that situation, it's my job to sink down low. Oh, okay. Wow, thank you. That's really interesting. Now, in you know, maybe there's a time where someone's really coming at me aggressively. And I have to say, cool, I get it, you know, I'm not as afraid as as you might be, or I'm not as worried or concerned, or whatever the right language might be, as you are right now, but really, thank you for caring about me, thank you for being concerned about me. You know, and I'm going to think about that. So at any way, we're always trying to put ourselves we know that you're, you're feeding the right fire, you know, the fire has the right fuel in your life, and that innocence and the right attitude that can help you progress in life is being maintained or managed, because you're always referring to it. And you're always placing yourself below your adherence to those principles. And so that's not because of your worth or value being less than something, it's because it's like a it's like a true north you have to it's like orienting you in orienting your actions. It's something that can keep you steady, so that you can walk through all these circumstances with that innocence intact, which is always going to lead to smooth progress. And there are some of those times where we we might be the victims of an undeserved are unexpected calamity, which still happens. But generally speaking there's a degree of sinking down a little bit in the situation. heartfelt submission also means to reduce some submission to reduce something. So when with our heart, we reduce the move into humility, we lower ourselves and we refer to that principle at the core of our life, whether that's yoga or a spiritual path or a daily meditation practice or whatever it is that we we draw on for wisdom, and we keep coming back to that posture of heartfelt submission. That is what hexagram 30 tells us will keep us righteous, and will fuel the ability to maintain this kind of careful harmony with all things.
