Mercury is getting together with Venus and the Sun with Neptune.
Here’s what to watch for:
* Emotional, heartfelt communication
* Coming together, making big plans, forming a vision
* Trying to save or redeem someone or something
* Offering ourselves in self-sacrifice to others, healthy or unhealthy?
* The love of sacred things, words, sounds
* Beautiful art that speaks to a larger purpose or message
* Imagination, faith, and friendship
* The sacred vow, oath, or promise
* The enjoyment of listening for the soul
* The soul speaking in beautiful images
* The dissolution of something or someone
* The dissolution, fading, or drowning of an idea
* False prophets, fulfillment, sweetness vs the real thing
* The feeling of sweet overwhelm
* Overestimating an idea’s worth
* Twisting ideas, words, thoughts to suit our desires
* Healthy vs unhealthy sexual expression
* Gossip vs true speech
* Getting something by using guilt or manipulation
* Giving with expectations attached
* Free love with consequences that entrap
* Ungrounded sentimentality
* When we find ourselves in a position of truth, faith, and open-hearted exchange with other people there is always a temptation to try to make the feeling of that exchange last forever by “doing something with this moment.” We frequently seek to take a healthy and loving exchange and turn it into a future material benefit, or we try to hold or grasp a loving exchange by seeking to replicate the experience. We so easily forget that we were not the creators of the moment in the first place, but merely the participants, the instruments, played on by sounds far older than these humble and temporary bodies. We forget that “it has all been done before, and more!” It’s challenging to imagine that every blessing we ever experience we experience because of grace, because of some amazing moment of being open enough to hear, listen, see, and receive. We so quickly lose touch with that invisible hand that is playing each and every situation we “find ourselves” within.
Prayer: May we not lose touch with your hands. Make us your instruments. Give us ears to hear the sounds you play through us. Teach us to be tenders of these beautiful temples…each moment an inner sanctum.
