Hey everyone, this is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology and today we are going to continue unpacking the Mars-Uranus conjunction by taking a look at what is happening yet today. And then where we go from here, we're going to take a look at some of what happens in the wake of this transit that is connected to the transit over the next couple of weeks.
This is one of those transits that has something like it's like you throw a stone into a pond, and ripples come from the impact. This is an impactful transit that has subsequent transits connected to it that are like the ripples coming off from it. So we're gonna look at that today while also telling you what is still sort of in the sky as of today. With respect to the Mars-Uranus conjunction, there's a little bit left. So we'll talk about that.
Before we get into it, as always, don't forget to like and subscribe. When you do, it really helps the channel grow. We've been looking at the analytics and noticing that a huge number of people who watch the channel haven't yet subscribed. So, for some of you, you may not like having subscriptions or whatever. But if it makes no difference to you, it certainly helps us grow as a company and as a channel that helps people to find us. So we really appreciate it when you like and subscribe.
You can find transcripts of any of my daily talks on the website nightlight astrology.com. I'm going to take you over there because we have some live talks coming up this month that I'm really excited about. If you scroll down, you'll see that our talk for this week is Uranus in the sign of Gemini. We're gonna be looking at the ingress that major planetary ingress, which happens next year, this Thursday night from seven to 9pm. Eastern time, this is a really good transit to start our processing of now as opposed to waiting when it ingresses. So we can start to prepare for what kind of energy is coming into our lives next year for the next seven years. That's about the length of time that Uranus spends in each sign.
So we'll be looking at Uranus into Gemini this Thursday night. If you can't attend live after you register, you get the link to attend live; you get a recording afterward. I am also excited to share with you the next three talks that are taking place in August, September, and October. In August, I will be doing a talk on the eighth house, the place of karmic debts. That is going to be a really nice in-depth talk for people who want to clarify their understanding of the eighth house, which is often a very misunderstood and feared place. But we are going to be talking about why this house can be understood as a place of karmic debts and what that actually means, also what it doesn't mean.
In September, we're going to be looking at Venus's 12 Love Languages; subtitle the talk Falling in Love through the Zodiac; we're going to be looking at what Venus desires through each of the 12 signs; this is a good chance to understand Venus's placements. And then in October, I'm doing a talk called The Myth of Astrological Compatibility, what everybody gets wrong about the astrology of relationships. I have a few very strong thoughts about that. If you're interested in hearing my opinions on the subject, which is in October, you can register for any of these talks now and get the link. You can't attend live. You get the recording. So anyway, hope to see you there for some of those talks coming up.
Now, let us turn our attention to the real-time clock, where we can take a look at what is happening now. By the way, this is your official opportunity to wish me a happy birthday since it is my birthday today on Tuesday, July 16. You know what's interesting is I was born on the same day that my grandmother was born. I find that to be really interesting. I'm not gonna lie. I don't love my solar return signature this year. I'm not particularly falling in love with the Moon in Scorpio, which is opposite Mars, and Uranus in Taurus. But, you know, living and learning every year is an adventure. And I can't say that I haven't enjoyed the ride thus far. So yeah, another ride around the Sun.
Here it comes in on my birthday. I just want to say what an honor it is to share astrology with all of you year in and year out. It makes me feel sane. So yeah, just think, thank you all for making the astrological journey of every year. What it is because you know a huge part of my day-to-day life, year-round, is spent reflecting on the stars and the astrology with all of you, and I'm thankful for the opportunity to do so every year. All right, and on that note, what's left today?
All right, today's Tuesday. Here is what we can see in the sky. This Tuesday morning. The Moon is moving in opposition to Uranus and Mars. Okay, so first of all, that opposition is in the sky today, which means that the Moon, in her fall, is moving through an opposition to Mars and Uranus in Taurus. And that is a pretty intense opposition. We've got a debilitated moon in the sign of Mars. Mars, of course, coming right off the conjunction to Uranus. So don't be surprised if today is the day you really felt the Mars-Uranus conjunction yesterday; you certainly could have. And we've refreshed on some of those horoscopes yesterday. But today, it would be completely appropriate if you felt these energies very loudly, strongly if they're showing up in even more dynamic ways than they did yesterday. And that is because the Moon's opposition is triggering this release of energy.
So, if there is an overwhelming emotion, a kind of emotional intensity, or impactful, unexpected, dramatic shifts that happen today, that is par for the course, which is why I am hiding. I actually was like, What do you want to do for your birthday? I was like, nothing. I want to play board games. And we're all going to bubble-wrap ourselves. Just kidding. You can't hide or like run from the transits, right? But I was like, let's be low-key. This is one of the best pieces of advice that I have. If it's raining, bring an umbrella.
If you have the Moon in Scorpio opposing Mars and Uranus and Taurus, like don't talk about triggering things with people you know, or like just know that if something unexpected pops up, that's a little bit more intense. That is in the sky today. So, put yourself in an environment where you can safeguard your serenity a little bit. Things will boil over, and things will have a way of boiling over, and it doesn't help to put yourself in an environment that is unusually stressful. I don't think you can avoid life, either. But that's the advice I have to give. So, know that that's still in the sky today.
Now, what comes next is where I'm pretty excited because, honestly, I feel like some of the transits that come in the wake of this transit are also very interesting and dynamic and suggest that the big, impactful moment of the Mars-Uranus conjunction in Venus's sign will continue to carry out as the month goes on and as we begin the next month of August. So here's what comes next: I'm going to bring the real-time clock back up and just sort of riff on this list that I created.
Number one is that mercury squares Uranus. So if we go forward, we're going to get just a touch on July 21. Next, but at the end of the week, we get Mercury in the sign of Leo, squaring Uranus. Now, the reason that this is significant is because of what is happening at the same time. Mercury-Uranus squares are often moments of tremendous creativity, originality, sudden breakthroughs in mind, and perception communication; it's a pretty exciting, erratic, creative, spontaneous energy mentally, and in terms especially of communication with other people, or when it comes to planning strategizing. This is the lightning strike of originality, the light bulb above the head of the cartoon character. So, I love that energy on its own in a vacuum, right? That's wonderful. But look at everything else that surrounds this moment of tremendous mental and intellectual breakthrough or originality. At the same time, we have the full Moon conjoining Pluto.
So, if we back this up just a touch, you'll see that here's the full Moon opposite the Sun. The Sun is trining Neptune and is about to move into opposition with Pluto, while the full Moon is going right into a conjunction with Pluto. So madness, I tell you, madness. This month is gnarly. Holy cow. Full Moon conjoins Pluto, the Full Moon in Capricorn, and the second Full Moon in Capricorn at the 29th degree of Capricorn, where Pluto will spend its last couple of months in Capricorn this autumn. If you're in the northern hemisphere, of course, that would be, I guess, your spring if you're in the southern hemisphere. So the full Moon in late Capricorn will immediately go into a conjunction with Pluto, and the Sun will try Neptune and then immediately oppose Pluto.
So we have this sequence if we go forward just a day, where now you can see the Sun opposing Pluto. And this is just off for the full Moon. During that time, remember that Mercury is just getting through the square to Uranus. Oh, but there's more. At the exact same time, Mars enters Gemini and immediately trines Pluto, so now we have a signature of tremendous action and energy from Mars in mercury sign as Mercury is coming off from the square to Uranus. This suggests a mobilization of ideas and energy resources, especially around things like communication, technology, ideas, strategies, and the desire to quickly or suddenly implement things that you're very excited about. Or that represents a very powerful turning point.
So I like this as a moment of discovery as, a moment of clarity and breakthrough, especially around things like information organization intelligence, mind communication, ideas. Really nice. At the exact same time though we also do you have, you know, a very powerful Plutonian signature. This is coming through catharsis, through purgation. Through deep, powerful levels of transformation that can be at once destructive and regenerative.
We see the Sun opposing Pluto. Is there some way in which the ego has to accept or die or allow for some kind of change for the sake of a bigger idea, an idea that may in some ways diminish your sense of importance or diminish your sense of what your role is, is there also ways in which we have to kill some of our fantasies or kill something that's a little childish within us, metaphorically speaking, to allow for a more mature or adult idea or strategy to come forth? Are there sacrifices of ego that have to be made? Are there betrayals that are happening also that are shifting our thoughts, strategies, or approaches? These are big and dynamic transits that can suggest a lot of different things. I'm laying them all out right now at once so that you know where we're going.
Also, a reminder that we will be breaking each of these down, individually, putting each dynamic in our little archetypal vacuum. After that big conflagration around the full moons is like July 21, and 22nd major stuff going on right there.
After that occurs, then we have an end of July, the very end of July, Venus appears as the Evening Star; she gets about 15 degrees of separation, and it's about that time average that we start seeing Venus in the evening sky. This is important because if we take Venus backward, she has been invisible for quite some time. Let's go back and show you how long it has been since we have had Venus in our evening sky. So we have to go back to you. You know, here we are. Sorry, I'm losing track; okay, here we go. So it's like early April, early April. Venus is the morning star and disappears. And at that disappearance, we get our solar eclipse. Right as she disappears, we get the solar eclipse in Aries. Not long after that, we get the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Taurus.
Now remember, she rules that Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Taurus, and then gradually, she starts moving into the Evening Star position. The cazimi happens in early June. So she's at the heart of this transformation, which in turn rules the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in early June. And now it's not until late July that she appears as the Evening Star, ready to present the new paradigm that she has constructed carefully for the revolution that has been in her name. And now we're ready to see the result as soon as she appears at the end of July. What happens within a couple of days? By August 2, Venus will square Uranus and Taurus, and so now we sort of complete a cycle, a cycle that started back in April that is now reaching its sort of peak, its moment of greater fulfillment.
So this suggests that what what is happening today still with Mars and Uranus and the Moon opposing; remember that Mars and Uranus dynamic is in Venus's sign and Venus is now moving through Leo ready to appear as the evening star and then square Uranus. So bringing forth the significations of Venusian revolution, in love in relationships in sex and marriage and friendships around the topics of women. These are powerful signatures.
So, I wanted to lay them all out there and show you them today to sort of give you that big narrative arc. And then what will we do? Should we survive the day? Should I live to see my 43rd birthday complete? Then, excuse me, we will continue unpacking these transits, and you will see them around the full Moon.
There is a a major eruption of, I think it's like four or five transits, all happening in the span of two days. And then, after that, we get Venus's appearance in her square to Uranus to start August, so fireworks are in a very powerful month, a kind of culmination of one of the major themes of the year, which is the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction and Venus sign. Okay. May the Force Be With You
