Hi everyone, this Acyuta-bhava from Nightlight Astrology and these are your Sun and rising sign horoscopes for the month of October 2020. So in this video we're gonna take a look at the air signs Libra Aquarius and Gemini. It is a really big month 2020 has not been messing around. And I feel like I've said that for at least half of the, you know for transits for, or excuse me half of the forecasts for these monthly overviews during the year. But the month of October is really, maybe for me when I started the year, the last, you know, August, September, October these months because of Mars, getting ready to turn retrograde and then turning retrograde, very powerful months with a very strong Mars in the air. And that's really the story of this month. So let's go ahead and unpack it. This is for whether you're if you if you go by your rising sign or your sun sign, I recommend the rising sign.

But either way, if you're Libra Sun or Libra rising, here's what's on the table for you this month. Everything is happening across the first seventh and fourth house axis. That is where the energy is all month long. Starting with a full moon on October 1 in Aries in your seventh house hosted by of course that Mars retrograde we are then going to see a series of aspects happening across this first seventh and fourth house access. And I'm just going to walk you through them and then describe the overview. So here's what you've got. On the first you have the Full Moon in the seventh, on the ninth, you're going to see Mars and the sun oppose one another across the first and excuse me, Mars will square Pluto between the seventh and the fourth house. And then you go forward a little bit more to the 13th. And you're going to see the sun and Mars oppose one another across the first and seventh house axis. Let me just draw this a little cleaner here. Just so this is this is where everything's happening. These three houses, the Sun opposes Mars across these houses on the 13th. There is a New Moon in Libra in your home sign on the 16th. And you can see that right here. And then you're going to have Mars square Jupiter on the 18th from the seventh to the fourth again, Aries to Capricorn. And then that that pretty much rounds it out for the month. So that's all the way through, say the 18th the first to the 18th you've got a whole slew of aspects happening cross houses one seven and four. If you are a cardinal sign this month like a Libra, Capricorn, Aries or Cancer, you arguably have the most dynamic transits of the month happening in the most dynamic houses of the birth chart.

So what does that mean? Well, in this case, the emphasis on Mars retrograde in the seventh is the focal point. Mars is the focal point for everything right now. And as is the Capricorn stellium. The Libra Sun dynamic is a little bit more quick moving, it's faster, it's a little bit more. You know, it's going to trigger things but it's not really the focal point. But with the New Moon in Libra, you will have a little bit more emphasis on the second half of the month starting to take place in Libra and things become more Venusian and start to sort of start to come in your wheelhouse. If you're a Libra by the end of October, feel like November is going to look a lot better for Libra, or any you know, people who are more Venusian in general, this is a very busy month. The seventh house Mars retrograde is focusing on the topic of conflict in relationship, conflict in relationship conflict resolution and relationship as well as the topic of independence or individual needs or differences in relationships with others. How strong should I be? How assertive should I be? How much should I look out for my own needs versus how much should I be willing to compromise or seek harmony with others? This is the essential essential question if you're a Libra rising this month or Libra sun sign, but there is also a lot of dynamism being poured in from the fourth house in your chart, which is the place of home and family roots, foundations, your inner private life, and maybe even your living environment.

So the question about relationships that Mars retrograde is raising, they're very personal because they're also activating this new moon in Libra in the first house which brings up questions about your own identity, your own sense of health and happiness, your own sense of direction in life, where am I going and who am I? And though so it's like I said, if you're a cardinal sign these major areas of life self health and vitality home roots and your living environment and intimate relationships. And it's being fueled by this exploration of Mars themes, aggression, competition, dominance, assertiveness, individuality. And so those are the things that you're exploring. And there's also a real serious, heavy, but also very mature energy. That's in the fourth house right now in your chart, which is your, your route. So questions around what is my foundation in life, what is my base, if there are patterns of for example, abuse or trauma in the past related to your family or your parents or that you grew up in a traumatic environment, this could be a time where you are essentially reliving some of that right now, or perhaps doing some healing work in that area and trying to establish a firmer foundation that is more rooted in what is truly healthy and good for you. So remember, this month that the other thing that's happening is your ruling planet Venus is in her fall in the 12th house. That's a difficult placement for Venus, because the 12th house is already a difficult environment. This month, right around the 17th of the month, Venus will oppose Neptune across the 12th. And the sixth. I would also say that it's very important with Venus in the 12th house to avoid anything that's happening behind someone's back. For example, gossip, or criticising people or saying or doing things in a way that's underhanded or not direct. So be very careful with passive aggression and sort of the sort of underhanded dynamics and relationships this month, especially things that are more deceptive, or that, you know, you may try to pass, someone may try to pass over on you, are you on someone else. This is also potentially a month where you see a loved one sick or someone close to you that is in need of help, or the topic of how much help Should I give you, or how much help do I need.

You want to be careful of that kind of victim-saviour dynamic this month as well, which could be a real theme. The other energies that are manifesting are going to be two opposition's this month from mercury to Uranus across your second and eighth house axis. The first one is on October 7, Mercury then turns retrograde in Scorpio on the 14th and then opposes Uranus again on the 19th. And then finally, the sun will oppose Uranus in Scorpio and the full moon will be in Taurus by the 31st. So the second and eighth house axis is being lit up from start to finish for you as well. Which means questions about money and resources are going to be a focal point especially because Mercury is retrograding in your financial house, there could be some twists and turns or unexpected surprises with Uranus in the mix. But also the potential to get free of obligations that are, you know, confining or limiting in some way, especially around your time, money, energy or resources. Don't be surprised if there's also you know, an unexpected expense that comes up. So that is if you are a Libra, that's your month start to finish the big themes. My advice this month is to you know, basically things get better in November. So be careful of big blowout dramatic or reactive decisions. I'm saying that to all the cardinal signs this month because when the this kind of T-square energy starts forming across the angular houses in your chart, the big areas of life, you know, identity health, relationships, home, family roots, living environment, those are the huge those are the foundational areas of the birth chart. So you want to really take care of yourself and know that this this little these waves that are coming in will pass they will pass so be patient with the process. Yeah, and like I said November, Venus will get into Libra again, your home sign and things should start to look up quite a bit. We're going to put an Aquarius on the ascendant and we're going to start this process over.

So we will go back to the very beginning of the month and try to highlight a few things here. Okay, so if you are an Aquarius, remember that we have everything happening across the Libra, Aries and Capricorn axis this month, a big conglomerate, t-square. All right. So this is where things are happening this month and I'm going to lay out the transits one by one the dates aren't as important. The because the dates and astrology are not there. Like you know, it's like it's like watching patterns changing in a puddle of water, that you need to know the general the general sort of movement and you know, it needs, the general themes, but the timing is something that can be a little soupy, it can stretch out and expand.

So, for example, the first of the month to get the Full Moon in Aries in the third, by the ninth Mars retrograde in the third house will also square Pluto in Capricorn in the 12th. By the 13th, the Sun in Libra and the ninth will oppose Mars retrograde in Aries in the third, then on the 16th, there's a New Moon in Libra in the ninth. And then by the 18th, Mars will square Jupiter from the third to the 12th. Again. So this is the this is the axis along which everything between about the first and the 20th of the month is happening. And it's every couple of days, you just got these three houses lighting up with the the themes related especially related to Mars, Saturn and Venus, because those are the rulers of the signs that we're dealing with. So what does that mean? Well, the Mars Venus dynamic is is very basic, it has a lot to do with the difference between peace harmony, and pleasantness versus aggression, or conflict or division, things like that, or selfishness or individuality versus agreement and harmony between others or something like that. So the Mars Venus dynamic this month playing out across your third and ninth house axis, these are houses that pertain to the mind, communication, learning teachers and teaching travel, you could throw in the topic of siblings or your local environment versus an environment that's more cosmopolitan, or global. And you could also think about ideology, belief. And dogma, so to speak, or doctrines are higher, like I'm, you know, I'm a libertarian or something like that, sort of like a ninth house topic, you get down to the third house topic, you're talking not so much about what you identify with in terms of bigger ideologies and beliefs. But like the subjective, the subjective space, the subjective centre of your mind, I feel this way, I think this I like that. So the both areas are really important though, because we can believe in we can have different beliefs or ideologies that guide our actions in life for the providers, kind of like with a mission purpose in life, or a mission statement, but but if we don't also know how to communicate our own thoughts, and feelings and ideas, or if we don't know how to, you know, kind of repackage our beliefs in different situations and different with different people and modify and adjust how we express ourselves in relation to our beliefs, then we're going to be in trouble in life. This is a month of your an Aquarius rising, that is all about learning how to be more diplomatic, while also learning how to be more direct. your beliefs in the ninth house are this month, we're talking about the seeking for greater harmony, and peace and love and, you know, unity, and agreement.

And in the meantime, you're looking down at Mars retrograde in the third house in the energy of that Mars retrograde this month. And you're saying, well, I may not always think or believe or say the most harmonious or pleasant things, I may have to say something that's more direct or aggressive. So one way of looking at this would be like, how do I handle having a will and a voice in a mind of my own while trying to communicate and participate in the world with others in a way that's harmonious. So ideological, or political, or religious or philosophical conflicts or conflicts of mind, and speech are on the you know, that's, that's, that's probably the most important theme of the month for you if you're an Aquarius rising. Now, it's being fueled by the Jupiter and Saturn and Pluto dynamic in the 12th house. And so, the 12th house, you know, as a child of Saturn, you have a coming out party that's about to happen in December when Saturn moves out of your 12th house, if you're an Aquarius, and into your home sign. That typically means that you're in the process of you're in like a gestational process that there has been themes over the past couple of years of being sort of in an in between space and trying to figure out who you are and what comes next. And you're just about on the brink of establishing for yourself a very new chapter in life, which will be a big, huge, I mean, Aquarians you have the forecast for December, because Jupiter and Saturn will conjoin in your home sign in that month, that you're just you're on the brink of getting there. And it looks to me this month, like one of the things you might be sorting out is, you know, what are my healthy beliefs and ideals that are really bringing me forward in life in a good direction and how am I embodying them and patterns of speech and thought patterns of mind and communication. Also looking at your shadows, and what elements of your mind or your belief systems are destructive or which in which ways do I need to grow up or become more mature? And in which ways do I need to become more firm or more disciplined? Or what way do I need to develop greater perseverance and commitment. And those questions as you're asking them now are going to lead to this very important moment of solidifying something for yourself by December.

So I think that's the overview of what I think that these are the most powerful transits in my mind for the month for you if you're an Aquarius, a second to that. There are another series of aspects. The second series comes from Uranus and Mercury. Mercury is going to make several opposition's to Uranus throughout the month, the first one is on the seventh. And then Mercury turns retrograde in Scorpio on the 14th and then by the 19th. Mercury will oppose Uranus once more. This is between your 10th and fourth houses. The 10th house Mercury Retrograde focuses on an the work environment or the professional environment, and Uranus down in the fourth house is of course related to home family, foundations, roots, your inner life or your home environment. And with these two opposing one another, I think that there could be some you know, Mercury-Uranus often delivers epiphanies and revelations and sudden or shocking insights or ideas, as well as messages or information that comes to the surface that could be shocking or could change the like change the landscape of your life very suddenly and very quickly. For example, you know, Mercury in the 10th, going retrograde in the 10th could be that you, you find out that you're you know your company is going to be sold or something like that, oh, but whatever is happening in the 10th house, Mercury's in the process of revealing something to you around work or your how you show up in the world in terms of the kind of work that you do or your reputation or your status or your professional your vocational life. Basically, Mercury in Scorpio squares, a mute sign tense. And when it goes retrograde, it often tends to focus on invisible, you know, it's a little bit like spy versus spy, you know, it's like, detective novel stuff. And it's very investigative. And it can also have this theme of, again, revealing things that have been hidden. And that's happening in your career house, but it's also being it's being shaken or it's being activated by this very rebellious energy at the roots of your chart that's suggesting that some of these changes are coming because of where you're living, or the environment that you're living in or home and family dynamics. And so that's pretty potent. That's definitely like a that is a very potential for there to be destabilising energy in the air this month around either your work environment or your home environment and it's not destabilising meaning it just interrupts the norm somehow it doesn't mean destabilising, as in looking super destructive and scary. But just your routines, your habits, what you think is sort of solid and true. Probably will get shaken up a little bit. And it will probably, you know, again, it might it might manifest in the workplace, but it will have ramifications and be connected to your home and living environment.

Okay, and again, the transits for that are Mercury opposes Uranus, on October 7, mercury goes retrograde in your career house on the 14th. And then mercury opposes Uranus once more down in the house of home and family on October 19. Finally, on the 30th and 31st, the sun will oppose Uranus from the 10th to the fourth, and there'll be a full moon in your fourth house in Taurus. So the same access gets highlighted at the very end of the month with the Full Moon. You know, so I think that that's going to be really dynamic. And frankly, I'm excited to hear back from some of you about how this particular one goes. So check back in and tell me how this one turns out. There's perhaps just one more thing to throw in, which is a very brief transit, right around October 17. I'm just going to push this forward a little bit and show this one to you. So right around the 17th you're going to see Venus oppose Neptune from your second to eighth house. These are your financial houses. These two planets are known for glamour extravagance. intoxication fantasy romanticization of things so be careful of that energy, somehow coming in around the topic of money or purchases or money in debts, credit cards, shopping sprees, you know shop therapy, be careful of that those themes. Also, in terms of like, this could be a transit that coincides with people who are in need financially that you want to give something to or someone that loans you something, but I would be very careful because this transit is prone to not seeing things clearly. Especially with Venus in its fall right now. Alright, so that is what I've got for you if you're an Aquarius rising. I'm really interested in that mercury Uranus dynamic for aquarians this month, so please tell me how that goes in particular.

All right, we're gonna put Gemini on the ascendant, we're gonna walk this back to the beginning of the month and do it over. All right. So we've got Gemini on the ascendant.

Now for all of you Geminis out there, Gemini rising or Gemini sun sign, either way. And what we're doing is we are taking the Full Moon in Aries on the first of the month, and a bunch of other transits from Mars retrograde in Aries in your 11th house, opposing them to the sun in the fifth house. And then there's a whole bunch of T-squares coming in to stellium of planets, Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn in your eighth house. This is where the action is out this month for everybody t square energy across the cardinal access. Wow, that's a big deal, right? For you, these are in succeed, and houses 11, eight and five are all succeeding houses. Which means that the these actions that are happening right now are slowly going to impact you. There's big things happening, but you may not see them as readily as the cardinal signs this month, who all have them on Angular in Angular houses, succeeded, houses often take a little bit longer to manifest and gestate. And I'll show you why.

Because cardinal houses are in the process of becoming angular houses. The 11th house by means of the primary motion is becoming the 10th house next, the eighth house becomes the seventh house next, and the fifth house becomes the fourth house next. So that means that they are heading toward places of manifestation and the big areas of life, in this case, work, relationships and home and family. But there are developments in the works right now that will be about the those topics becoming something based on what's happening right now. And that's always the case for succeeding houses. And it's an interesting way of thinking about it, because it'll help you, if you if you track back, my guess would be for example, if you buy mid winter, and then by mid summer, next year, track back what was happening in October of this year if you are a mutable sign like Gemini, and you will see that these these transits that were happening in October ended up being like this invisible turning point for you. So I know all that's really fun, too. It's you know, it's fun to think that you have invisible, invisible promising changes happening, right. Let's talk about what this is really rooted in which for you and for everyone is Mars is retrograde. Mars retrograde it so here's how it goes Full Moon in Aries and Mars a sign on the start of the month the first, then by the ninth of the month, Mars retrograde squares Pluto in the eighth, then the sun will oppose Mars on October 3, the sun will sun and Libra in the fifth will oppose Mars retrograde in Aries and the 11th. That's again by the 13th. Then there'll be a New Moon in Libra in your fifth on the 16th. And then Mars will square Jupiter on the 18th from the 11th to the eighth house. So as you can see from start to finish, I mean, the whole month long there's just these you know, one transit after another transit after another transit from Mars to the stellium in Capricorn, from Mars to planets like the sun, especially in the new moon in Libra. So what does this access imply? Like what what is the eighth? The 11th of fifth? What are these guys doing? Okay, well, the eighth house is the reason I'm going to focus on the eighth house not the 11th. The 11th house is where the action is with Mars but it's really important to understand what the eighth house is saying because the eighth house is a place that has to do with debts or obligations to other people or the things that we need from other people and there's a real bottom line energy around this.

If you're a Gemini rising right now Gemini Sun because the the Saturn nine, the Pluto, the Saturn energy, and the combination of Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter all together in Capricorn give this very weighty sense of what is owed, what we are obligated to do, or what we owe to other people or what our debts or responsibilities are to others or what others owe us. And that's kind of forming this bottom line this month. And it may make us willing to make really bad compromises, or it may force us to make compromises that we're stubborn and making, but we need to, and it'll be fine if we can just get past our own ego. So I could see it going either way. On the one hand, I could see things getting with Mars retrograde in the 11th house, the place of friends, groups and allies, I could see there being a breakdown of allies. You don't want to be caught between a rock and a hard place this month, if you're Gemini rising, where you owe someone to some you owe something to someone. But you can't you don't have the means to pay it back. And so that, you know, that puts you in a really bad position, or where there's conflicts with friends or that there are confrontational energy around friends, but you know, you may not be able to say everything you need to want to say because you need them around somehow, or vice versa, be very careful not to take advantage of others upon who are dependent upon you for something. In other words, don't use people and don't get used by people. The other energy that's really important here is the Libra in the fifth, which is also asking for peace, harmony, joy, pleasantness. The Sun and the New Moon in Libra, which by the by the middle of the month, are sort of like, can't we all just get along? Can't we do things that are fun and peaceful and joyful. But meanwhile, there is the potential for there to be deeper conflicts and decisions, in relationships about who we trust, or who we consider to be valuable in our life, who we want around us and who we don't, what do people really give to me? And what do I really need from other people? And these questions gradually, will morph into being the things that are happening right now are in time going to have this bigger impact on your career on intimate relationships and on where you call home? So yeah, it's just something that's going to have to the other thing that I would just warn, if you're a Gemini rising this month is don't keep the peace, if it means letting something kind of fester underneath the surface. That's a big no-no, for this month. The other thing would to be careful not to burn bridges, because you could see either happening with this particular t-square, and a big part of it is going to be, what do I think I'm getting out of this? And how does that affect my ability to say what I need to say? Or do what I need to do? And how is it prohibiting me or shaping my agenda in some way and be very careful of underlying an underlying influence that makes you want to, you know, either reactivity to to other people that, you know, like I have to be right or I have to win, or I can't take this anymore, or on the other hand, the feeling of I need to bury everything that I feel or think because I'm you know, there's something that I need here and I if I speak my mind, I could ruin it. Right. So somewhere in between you need to find a way of representing your feelings and thoughts to other people and speaking up for yourself with being tactful, and and use foresight this month. These decisions and dynamics have a long term effects on your life.

Okay, so there's a few other things happening this month that we should focus on. Mercury-Uranus, a couple of oppositions, Mercury in Scorpio is in your sixth house this month it will oppose Uranus on the seventh, Mercury will then turn retrograde in Scorpio on the 14th. And then Mercury will oppose Uranus one more time on the 19th. Between the sixth and the 12th house, you're going to want to watch for kind of explosive, dynamic and somewhat rebellious communication dynamics, you're going to be feeling potentially more incense store there's the potential for there to be like sudden breakdowns or breakups with people due to volatile communication. So it's repeating some of what we've already said. But just know that there are you're prone to have these moments of kind of more intense communicative outbursts and breakdowns and shifts and changes. It's also possible that your health could take a hit somehow this month. So you want to be going to be mindful, don't exert yourself or exhausts too much energy especially. My sense is that conflict in relationships groups of people, communities with people who are supposed to be allies or friends If you aren't careful, those kinds of things, the stress around those kinds of things could also tax you and actually make you sick. So you do want to be careful of that.

The Sun will oppose Uranus and there'll be a Full Moon in Taurus on the 31st. And that should start bringing about this sense of needing to get back to peace and harmony, Venus will be moving into your fifth house in Libra. So I think whatever happens, things should start to mend themselves up by the very end of the month and beginning of next month, but it's a month where if you're a Gemini, you're gonna either explore what holds you back from speaking the truth or being more direct or just kind of being a little bit bolder, or you're going to or you're going to find out the problems with doing so without tact. So those are the things to watch for.
