Hi everyone, this is Acyuta-bhava from Nightlight Astrology. Happy Monday, everybody. Today we're gonna take a look at a few of the transits that are coming up this week and refresh on Saturn square to Uranus, which is happening on the 17th and just two days from now, on Wednesday. So I'm going to go ahead and put the real time clock up and we'll take a look. Actually, before I do that, I should let everybody know I mentioned last the end of last week that a lot of people have been emailing me because my readings were temporarily not available on my website since around the holidays. And the reason for that is I've actually booked up to about a year out in advance, and we can't book out more than a year in advance. So we had to wait, let the calendar catch up a little bit. And I restructured my readings. So if you go to my website, nightlightastrology.com, go to the readings page, you'll notice that their backup now. And there's some new, kind of a new menu of offerings there as well. So be sure to check that out. also have an announcement about my new class probably in the next week or two at most. So stay tuned for that as well. Yeah, so my excited things that I've been I've been working on as Mercury has been retrograde in my own 10th house right now. It's been a it's been a season of revising things on my website and my offerings and classes, revising some curriculum, and so forth.

Now, what we're looking at is Saturn coming into a square with Uranus by Wednesday of this week. This is Wednesday morning, the 17th of February, late morning. So we're it's very close at hand now. And the exact square, I would say you could you could give it a couple of degrees. So it's already been in effect, but you're also going to see it perfecting, say all the way up until maybe like March 16 about the middle of March, you're going to get Saturn still within about two degrees by that time, a two to three degree range. And that that range stays pretty close all year long. There's some times where it's gonna be farther away, but it's going to perfect again in June and then again by December. So we have this is the first you know, week where we're really going to see the action between Saturn and Uranus perfecting what will that bring? Okay, well, remember that the basic principles that we're combining are radical sudden, breaking from traditions, norms, habits and structures in Uranus in an inventive ways and also in disruptive and potentially destructive ways. And in sometimes rebellious and defiant ways. I know what's right, but I'm going to rebel from it, I have an ulterior motive, I'm just not going to do what's right. Or that's outdated, I need to do something new. And I need to invent or I need to rework a structure.
2:58
You know, if you own a business, or you work in a company somewhere you could see shifts internally within a company or an organisation, you could see restructuring of contracts or work agreements with other people. You could see trying to create more freedom within certain kinds of parameters. I did a talk a couple weeks ago, the basic gist of it was the limit is your freedom. And it's it's very similar to you know, I mean, this works in so many different you can use so many different analogies or metaphors. But you think of a musical scale you're limited in some ways by it but the limit is also the freedom that you that you you create freedom through the way that you play off from the structure of the scale. So there's a lot of questions right now about how to how to find creativity flexibility and freedom within certain kinds of confines or limits how to break free without destroying something, how to defy or be original and inventive without reinventing the wheel you know, so these questions between Saturn and Uranus are they've been in the air for a while but you're gonna see them very pronounced this week and also what can come with that or that is the sudden this sudden braking of structures the potential for a sudden lightning strike like in the Tarot, the tower card.
4:28
So along with this you're also going to find that it's very possible that we would see more sudden I call them like you know like acts of God or nature whatever the whatever the insurance companies used to talk about sudden disasters that happen in nature. It's possible to see earthquakes it's possible to see the sudden shifting and moving of established structures of human society because of acts of nature that come on very quickly and suddenly and challenge established infrastructures and stuff like that, like that does happen under Saturn, Uranus Wheres you could also be more moral, philosophical, ethical, you could find yourself, you know, getting locked in conversations about tradition versus innovation this week. So, watch for those energies.
5:13
Now, what's interesting about this week is that we're also going to see a first quarter Moon coming through between Wednesday and Friday. So you're going to see, Wednesday to Friday, the moon goes into Taurus. And it's actually it's actually going to be by I guess, about Friday morning that the first quarter Moon actually perfects here, you can see it right here. It's, it's perfecting by Friday morning. So this week is also a first quarter moon week. What does that mean? Well, first quarter Moons in some ways have a little bit of resemblance to the Saturn Uranus square archetype. And so far as every time a first quarter moon comes through, you can think of the image of like a little plant, that's, that's working its way upward from beneath the soil, and it gets that moment warehouse to sprout up into the world. It's very vulnerable and fragile and young, it's early on in the development of something and it has to face these kind of early trials and struggles as it seeks to individuate and grow. So in a Moon cycle, whatever karma is planted, you know, we're going to meet some initial obstacles or challenges or work or, you know, struggles that define the path ahead, or the way we meet them will define the fruits that come at the metaphorical full moon. So the challenges of this week, how we meet them, how we react and respond to them, in some ways, are more important than the actual result. Because the result comes through the way that we handle those early struggles. So sometimes you don't get what you want, or you find that you're, you're you're trying to break free of something, but the limits keep persisting and you can't, you know, it's like, like someone who's wanting to get back to working out, but they keep dealing with a nagging injury, you know, it's like, Okay, well, when that net, you, you know, you think you're ready to go and then it pops up again, it's like, well, you know, the wise thing to do is to probably just really take your time, and make sure that you you're good before you know, lift weights again, so you don't hurt something. Sometimes the, you know, first quarter moon like this was Saturn square Uranus, the temptation of trying to push through something, when keeping still might be the better option is very real. For example, when I was looking at this this morning, I cast the I Ching. And I said, What's the good advice for everybody right now, for Saturn, Uranus, given how potentially volatile and challenging the dynamic can be between these two planets?
7:51
And the, the answer was hexagram 52, which is the mountain keeping still, because it shows like the the two trigrams of the hexagram are mountain over mountain and it it's actually an image of meditation, and of learning to learning the art of, of getting results in life or moving toward your intended destination, by virtue of knowing when to keep still, knowing when to not move, knowing when to sort of sit. And I kept thinking about that. Because, you know, I've personally since the Mars retrograde I had a small injury, where I'm coming from with this at a small injury while while lifting weights with my elbow. And so I was like, okay, you know, and I've kind of just tried to get back to it recently, after taking a little bit of time off, and it was still like, it was like, it's not bad, but it's still there. And I just recognised that as I was listening to the I Ching kind of speak to me this morning. I was like, yep, this is a week where trying to push past limitations too quickly, too defiantly could result in disaster. So the wisdom is, hey, look, if you get a little note from the universe, saying, Don't try to push through this just yet, the freedom is coming. But just you just have to wait, you have to be a little patient, to bide your time. Pick your timing carefully right now. And it's not that the revolution isn't coming. It's just you know, that that check of Saturn is still very much in the air right now. And there's there can be very damaging results when we try to push through things prior to the appropriate moment to do so. Because we think it's either now or never. And Saturn might not be saying no, always but no, not right now. That's an important distinction and one that I really felt the I Chimg speaking to me about this morning with regard to my elbows, I just I finished my workout this morning and I was like, man, I just want to be able to lift more you know what I mean? Like I don't want my my elbow area to bother me. Well, I have it's funny because I had a Saturn Uranus transit on that left arm when I broke it. I think I told you guys that story maybe a month ago or something. So I had broken my left arm and had a paralysed hand for quite some time. And that was Saturn Uranus dynamic. And it was really about pushing past limits that I shouldn't have tried to, that caused me to break that arm, in fact. So the lesson that I'm picking up this week anyway is just the breakthrough will come, the freedom will come, you have to wait, keep still, meditate, there's a season for all things, there's a season, to feel like the breakthrough is at hand, even though it has to wait a little bit, it has to wait for just the right moment or the right timing. If you could think of this as like the battlefield of life, all the things we're doing all the time. You know, in some ways, this applies to our spiritual lives too, right? Like, you know, in life, we're trying to do things all the time. It's like, okay, just wait for the right moment and don't get too impatient. And so okay, that's, that's fine. But what about for spiritual life? Well, the same thing is true spiritually, let's, let's examine for a moment, I'm just gonna turn off my screen. Now, let's just examine for a moment, this idea of someone who has a certain number of vices, right, let's say you have some bad habits, and you know that they're not good for you, whatever they might be. Your spiritual practice gives you the feedback all the time that these things need to change. Probably some of you, like myself have tried to force a change upon ourselves to improve upon some area of our life prior to being able to actually pull it off. Right. So that's a really tough position to be in, because you know, where you want to go, you know, where you should go, spiritually speaking to be healthier, to be happier. But it's just not the right time yet. One of the greatest austerities in life that and I've heard a number of my teachers say this as well, one of the greatest austerities in life, is learning how to live with the imperfections, the faults, the flaws, the shortcomings, and to wait, patiently knowing that the waiting and sort of slowly suffering with those things that you don't have the full strength to change right now is the change in process. It doesn't feel like it. For example, let's say that someone's trying to quit smoking.
12:23
I'm just giving an example. A lot of my clients I've talked to in the past, you know, struggle with smoking, you know, you should quit, you know, you know, you know, it's gonna be better for you, but you're not there yet. Right? Well, there's a certain way in which the more heightened awareness you have of that, while you're trying to quit smoking, the more that smoking is the karma in a sense that smoking is starting to burn off. Because you're living with it's no longer enjoyable, right? But you can't say no to it yet, perhaps you know what I mean? So there's a way in which the that we can be liberated from the karma as the 52nd hexagram, or the eaching says, By simply waiting, by simply letting it burn and knowing, okay, I don't have the full resources and strength mentally, spiritually, emotionally, to get it done. That does not permanently disqualify me. from getting it done, it does not permanently disqualify me from making that change. But I know that I can't do it right now. So maybe I can take a small step in the right direction. Or I can even wait and let the let the experience of having to wait be the thing that builds my motivation, my courage, my determination. So it's not you it's almost like knowing you can't quite do something yet, but you don't let go and give up and say, well, then I'll never do it. But you hold you hold the tension in some ways of intending to do it, but knowing you can't do it just yet. And if you hold it like that, oftentimes, that's exactly what's building the momentum that you need to eventually break through. So you know, it's like it's a real in some ways this transit deceptively is like a chop wood carry water kind of transit. Because, you know, you chop wood and carry water long enough, and you're gonna find that there's, there's a breakthrough eventually.
14:07
So those were a few things that I got from the eaching this morning I thought you guys might find useful for this week, especially as the Saturn Uranus square is perfecting, and we're going through this first quarter moon, both of which have the feeling of trying to move through sort of early obstacles within a longer process, and making smart choices and being careful to bide our time. Knowing that sometimes you're going to suffer early defeats with a Saturn Uranus square. Remember, Jupiter's in the mix with Saturn too. So early defeats turn into later victories with with patience, insight, and like strike effective strategy right now. Remember also that this week, you're going to see by Friday the 19th you're going to see Venus coming into a square with Mars. So we also have the masculine and the feminine sort of dancing together this week that can be erotic and creative. It can also recreate a certain kind of tension between the desire to do something more willfully or with strength? And what do you want to say assertiveness and aggression versus Venus, who is actually overcoming Mars and is Mars as hosts from the superior square, who's saying, you know, let's take a big picture view on this, let's slow our roll a little bit, let's be a little bit more conservative and broad minded and rational about this. So Venus is actually in the position of the sort of bigger, broader minded, peaceful, rational position this week, and gradually sort of subduing Mars who might want to try to, like plough through things really powerfully. So watch for that this week as well.
15:42
All right, so those are just a few things I wanted to make you guys aware of today. There's a lot of there's a lot of little transits in the in the week that we'll take a look at as well. Mercury is going to station by the end of the week. I think it's Saturday or Sunday. Let's just see stations on Saturday, it's going to turn direct like Sunday into Monday. Okay, there we go. So we'll come back to that talk a little bit about Mercury appearing as the morning star. And start previewing some of the dynamics of what comes after the first square of Saturn, Uranus as well, because we kind of start moving towards some of the transits of the spring and almost like previewing some of those as well. Yeah, that's what I've got. So I'd love to hear your stories about what you've noticed from Saturn and Uranus in your own life. I'd be curious to hear your stories. I always appreciate when people leave things in the chat box. Sometimes people email me and I always love reading people's stories but I prefer if you share a story if you share it in the chat box is a little easier for me to read than having my inbox inundated with like 100 emails. So yeah, yeah, I prefer if you have quite a few have a good story to share that you share it in the chat box and lets you know if it's too personal or whatever, that's okay, I just I apologise in advance I can't usually respond at length to people who email me long stories. So anyway, I hope you guys have a great week. I hope it's really fantastic. And I look forward to unpacking more with you guys as the week goes on. Probably Cat will be in and we'll be doing some q&a episodes and like I said, I'm going to try to catch up on the Mercury series by looking at Mercury in Aquarius, as well. All right, take it easy, everyone. Bye.
