Sun and Rising Sign Horoscopes for May 2021

Hi everyone, this is Acyuta-bhava from Nightlight Astrology. Happy Friday everybody. Today we're going to take a look at the sun and rising sign horoscopes for the month of May 2021. That being said, in today's overview of May for the sun and rising sign horoscopes, I'm focusing on only two transits for the month because they really are front and centre. And I think that they sort of steal the show. Also, I'm in the middle of moving as most of you know, I've been watching my videos regularly. And you know that I'm in the midst of moving and so I've I'm keeping my videos a little bit shorter and more concise because my day is, you know, filled with packing things and unpacking things and all that good stuff. But kind of cool news, I'll have a new studio pretty soon and excited to kind of reveal that may take a little bit to get it going. I might be on my laptop for a little bit. Maybe I'll try to bring the Narnia picture with me. At any rate. Alright, so we're going to dive in with the sign of Aries to start with the two transits that I'm looking at this month and we'll go through Aries through Pisces. The two transits of the month is going to be the ingress of Jupiter into the sign of Pisces, which is happening on May 13. Depending on where you're at in the world, of course, may 13. And we're going to take a look at that Ingress for all 12 signs. We're also going to take a look at the lunar eclipse that is happening on May 26 in the sign of sagittarius. Now there's a solar eclipse in June, we're going to do that in June's overview. There's also a Uranus Saturn square that's coming up in June, we'll take a look at that in June. So sometimes people you know, we get really close to these big transits and people will be jonesing for more information on them, but just know that that's coming next month.

Okay, so we're gonna start with Aries. Taking a look first of all at the ingress of Jupiter into Pisces. Now this is going to last until later in July. So you're talking about mid May through the latter part of July. This is giving you a preview for what Jupiter in the sign of Pisces is going to be like all of 2022. So it's a it's a very big Ingress, anytime a slow moving planet moves into a new hole sign house, you're looking at the potential for bigger events that sort of give you a hint as to what the entire transit is going to be about. So that's why it's so important to pay attention to the ingresses of planets like Jupiter, Saturn, the outer planets like Uranus, Neptune or Pluto. So, even though this transit will be, let's say more on display next year, it's important to take a look at it this year. And get that little preview from like I said mid May through the end of July. So if you're an Aries rising, Jupiter is going to be moving into your 12th house. Now it is the natural ruler of your ninth house as well, which is where the eclipse is going to be happening on May 26. So I'm actually going to combine these two for you. With the eclipse happening on May 26. In your ninth house and Jupiter, the ruler of that Eclipse in your 12th house changing signs into Pisces where it is also the natural ruler of Pisces. I would look at this as a time of either contemplating or reflecting upon your guiding principles and beliefs. I would consider this a crisis or transformation of faith or belief whether that's political or personal and ethical, or, you know moral, spiritual, philosophical issues. could involve a kind of religious or spiritual transformation, an intellectual or mental paradigm shift of some kind. And it could also, it could also have you looking at doubts, and also Jupiter in the 12th house, ruling, the ninth could be about the silver lining of difficult experiences that build faith or that deepen your spiritual life somehow, sometimes things happen in life that are challenging, but we instantly know that they are there to grow us up or to somehow speak to us. And and, you know, they're they're essentially they're teaching us something. So all of that being said, I think that the Jupiter Ingress about mid month and the eclipse at the end of the month signal, not just in the month of May, but for the next few months, all the way through July, that you're going through some kind of philosophical or intellectual reorientation, and it could cause you to question things, or you might need to rely on your faith to get you through a challenging period. That is the gist of what I'm seeing for Aries in the month of May.

We're gonna put Taurus on the ascendant now. So if you are a Taurus rising, then what we're doing is we're taking the eclipse, we're putting we're putting Jupiter into your 11th house, we're putting the lunar eclipse on May 26, into your eighth house. Now this combination is really interesting. When you have an eighth house Eclipse, of course, the theme of death is put up a potential no death can be metaphorical or literal. In my you know, 11 years of practising it's very rare that it's literal, it's or it's Yeah, it's very rare that it's literal. It's almost always figurative or metaphorical, letting go of things, saying, you know, goodbye to certain periods in your life or seasons of time where certain themes or patterns have been constant. And when things reach an expiration date, and usually, again, is not literal. But regardless, eclipses in the eighth house can mean the end of something, the end of an era, the end of sometimes you're paying off debts, emotional debt, psychological debts, financial debts, or sometimes there's going to be a new bond or a new debt, taking out a loan. The eighth house has a lot to do with our deepest soul contracts and entanglements with other people, as well as the question of whether or not those entanglements are healthy or not, are we going to Is there a bill that's going to be due later, this eighth house was connected to penalties that come later in time, including the ultimate bill that's due for all of us, which is death. So clearing debts with a lunar eclipse in the eighth house, accruing new debts, things reaching their expiration date, and then at the same time, we see this very vitalizing, renewing and invigorating Jupiter in the 11th house in its own sign and in the place of its joy. I wonder if this has something to do with community groups, friends, allies, colleagues? Could it be that we're at some kind of transitional point when it comes to friends or allies or colleagues in our professional life or in our social life? Could it also be that there is some deeper examination of faith and beliefs with other people with friends or within communities or groups? Could there also be some connection between what's to say soul contracts, debts, letting go of things and something as a result, coming in to bless us or expand our horizons, so to speak, through friends, colleagues, groups, allies, and so forth. That's what it looks like to me. So maybe new partnerships, new collaborations, new people, new groups, things look very positive in that area, but there's also the letting go of some debts or, you know, finalising old things. So, that looks like some of the most important topical areas for Taurus rising in the month of May.

Now, let's go to we're going to go forward to Gemini rising now. So if you're a Gemini rising, this falls this eclipse falls on May 26, falls into your seventh house, which is the house of relationships, love marriage, and of course, Jupiter's Ingress into Pisces, which happens on May 13 will take place in your 10th house. So you're looking at relationships and career or you could say broadly speaking, the activities the everyday activities of your life, and something happening in the realm of relationships, a lunar eclipse in the house of relationships May 26 I could suggest that a relationship is ending, or that your, your something in a relationship is culminating or completing. For example, taking your vows at the altar, or breaking up could be signified by a lunar eclipse in the seventh house, it means that there's a major transitional event happening in relationships with that Eclipse in the seventh. At the same time, Jupiter, entering its own sign in your 10th house suggest increased blessings, growth opportunities, abundance in your career house, which is a really nice placement. So watch for change in these two areas from the career you're going to get a big sample of that next year to remember in 2022, when Jupiter's there all year, but watch for mid May through later July to be a period of flourishing and general positivity, I would think for your professional life. At the same time, there might be some need for change that's a little bit more challenging than Eclipse in your seventh house of marriage, but also just general, deeper transitional events in relationships and also potentially for a spouse or partner, maybe a spouse or partners changing jobs. So those are some of the big areas for my Gemini risings out there. Alright, we're going to go ahead to putting cancer on the ascendant, we put cancer on the ascendant, then we're putting the lunar eclipse in the sixth house, and we are putting the Jupiter ingress into your ninth house.

So this is a period of time for Cancer risings. Especially because right now you have Mars, God of War in your first house in its fall. This is the time where you're looking at health and wellness and trying to work through different kinds of challenges may be a period of hard work, maybe a period of not feeling totally Well, maybe a period of fighting with others or just feeling a little bit more on edge. The Eclipse and Mars in your first house right now Eclipse in the sixth and Mars in the first suggest Mars like themes. The sixth house was called the joy of Mars, you're having a lunar eclipse in that sixth house, Mars is in its fall in your first house at the same time. As a result of these struggles. Something is really growing and blossoming in the house of religion and spirituality. Could it be that the personal struggles you're facing right now, whether they're in your home or family or your body or within relationships just looks like it could be a tense or difficult period, in general for cancers this month. But the saving grace is that there's something really flourishing and growing in that ninth house, the place of the higher mind, spirituality, religion, philosophy, maybe travel abroad, so something is growing there and in time, you will make it through you'll have the faith to make it through next year, your faith will really be rewarded as early as the very beginning of 2022. Jupiter is going to spend a whole year in your ninth house really helping you transform your outlook on the world itself. I've seen so many people with Jupiter in the ninth go back to school or reframe their beliefs or find a spiritual tradition or practice or a guru or mentor or something like that. So the challenges you face right now are helping you get to the space where you can get ready to accept the higher help that's on its way.

Okay, we're going to move it forward and we're going to put Leo on the ascendant. So if you're a Leo, son, Leo rising, this eclipse is happening in your fifth house on May 26th. Well, Jupiter's ingressing into your eighth house on May 13. Now remember, Jupiter is going to be in your eighth house between the middle of May all the way towards the latter part of July, and this eclipse is on May 26 in your fifth house. So first of all, let's talk about the difficult one. When you have Jupiter entering the eighth house, there can be blessings that come into your life through losses or difficulties. For example, when someone passes and leaves you in inheritance, you know, it's not most comfortable thing to talk about. But when good things come out of bad things that's often a Jupiter in the eighth house kind of situation that unfortunately means that it could be a month where there are some karmic bills that are due and they're not easy to deal with. There's some frustration or or emotional challenge in dealing with some of the things that come up this month. But Jupiter in the eighth can also be a blessing in disguise where you know, the Jeff the difficult things come with a silver lining. Maybe they come with more increased opportunities at work new financial opportunities. They come at the same time that you know, maybe your partner or spouse is getting good news about work or money for example. But regardless, the idea that good things could come out of bad things this month is I think for Leo son Leo rising a promising thing even if there are some challenges along the way. Now the other thing is that with eclipses South node Eclipse is in the fifth house, the ruler Jupiter in the eighth. You do have to watch out for some of those bills, those karmic bills coming around the topic of children or pregnancy or your relationship with your kids. This is a transit where I have seen you know People will lose a will lose a pregnancy. That would be like the worst case scenario. I've seen this transit happen very similar kinds of transits. When kids are acting up or kids are going through a really rough period developmentally, and you're having to deal with those things. Maybe you find some kind of support or resources to that would be the benefit of Jupiter, there's that there's resources in terms of that, you know, things available to help you get through a period. That's difficult with kids. But the difficulty is still part of it. So again, whenever the eighth house is involved, you have to think, okay, there might be some some difficult things here in terms of the soul contracts in my life and the different karmic debts or bills that are due. Or also, this could be about things that you'll have to pay for later, if you're not careful with the fifth house likes to have fun. a lunar eclipse in the fifth house with Jupiter in the eighth could mean that you're writing high right now, but there will be a bill later. So you should be careful about that to be really clear, headed about what the future may bring with anything that you're sort of signing up for right now. So those are some of the things that I'm seeing for Leo rising. And let's go ahead and whoops, let's go to we're going to put Virgo rising on the ascendant next.

So if you're a Virgo rising, we have the lunar eclipse in Sagittarius in your fourth house, and the ingress of Jupiter into your seventh house. And now that Ingress is may 13, Jupiter moving into your house of relationships, love marriage, while lunar eclipse on May 26, is coming into your place of home, family, property, parents, etc. So marriage and family karma is definitely the focus for you this this month, but also, with Jupiter in your marriage house through mid July, it's a very positive planet to have in a very good sign it's home sign in your marriage house, I would see if not like meeting someone or getting married or maybe having kids or moving houses or a spouse changing jobs or getting a better job or starting a business with a spouse or that collaboration, growth, abundance coming through marriage, possibly some turnover around home and family simultaneously. That's not entirely easy like moving, which can be I'm in the middle of that can be very stressful. Or on the other hand, if not moving, then the other stressor can be just family drama, let's just call it that with parents or relationships in the family or something like that. So your living environment or family relationships could be a little strained with the lunar eclipse in the fourth. But the good news is there's lots of abundance and the look of of blessings coming in through the marriage house. And that's also a promise for 2022 we're going to see a lot of that kind of support coming in through the marriage house next year for a good portion of the year.

Alright, so next we're going to put Libra rising, put Libra onto the ascendant. So if you're a Libra rising, the Jupiter Ingress is happening in your sixth house, while the lunar eclipse is happening in your third. So a lot of this has to do with what I would call your you're going to start getting passionate about something, you're going to start feeling like there's a mission or a renewed or reinvigorated sense of purpose. The reason for this is that a lunar eclipse in the third house, with Jupiter in the sixth tends to emphasise a transformation of mind with the sense of some kind of mission or purpose, there's something bigger than yourself that you want to serve, or fight for or work toward. So I like this as a month of changing your mind and getting inspired about something. This is going to be followed, by the way, just a little preview by a whoops, by Eclipse in your ninth house, which is the place of higher beliefs and a Mercury Retrograde there that's happening at the very end of the month and into June. So I you know, the sixth house was called the joy of Mars, which is of course the planet of action. And it was the sixth house was associated with you know, military service and wars and battles. And also, when Jupiter enters that house, there's often a sense of my my faith or my beliefs, wanting to be put into action, whether it's charitable action, humanitarian action, some kind of cause you want to fight for what can be a lot more mundane, where it's just like something that I really believe in personally and ambition, a project, whatever the case might be, that I'm going to start, like, you know, really applying myself toward. So I like this for Libra risings. You have that lunar eclipse in the third house, a place that's very much about your mind and your mindset, going through some kind of shift like a little bit of a paradigm change. That's being pushed along by something that you're feeling really inspired by. Could be a teachers entering your life and teaching you new things or having to relearn something or that you're teaching others something. But the idea of mobilising the mind Find a cause or a mission or purpose comes to mind for my Libra risings this month. Okay, so well, I'll give you one story. For example, I had someone who was an educator recently come in for a reading where we're looking at this and they're going to be sort of mobilising all of their resources for a big, like online virtual summit that they're helping organise. So there you go, like a big educational gathering that they're going to be full steam on in the next month or two here.

So let's go forward now to putting our Scorpio on the ascendant Scorpio rising Scorpio sun, you've got the lunar eclipse in your second house, and you've got Jupiter ingressing into your fifth house. This transit has some buyer beware, as around it. This is a lot of it has to do with money and finances, the lunar eclipse does in your second house may 26. some significant changes happening around money and finances starting since last June of 2020, you're going to continue going through those changes around money, finances, business resources, things people read people or things that you rely on to support you. And there might be some changes there. Now people change jobs, people change how they manage money, people pay off debts, people also may have different kinds of expenses or overhead may start a business or, you know, invest in some some new form of support. Whether that's Look, I'm putting a hot tub in my backyard, or I'm gonna start seeing a therapist or I'm getting a gym membership. Usually, it's like, you're changing something about how you support yourself, even how you feed yourself, or your money or finances are changing in some way. So I would watch for that from late May maybe give it a month or two into July. At the same time Jupiter is entering the fifth house, which is the called the joy of Venus traditionally. And that's a place that is pretty that's pretty awesome for Jupiter to be in that house. It's not uncommon to see people get pregnant when Jupiter enters that house to see babies children pregnancy. And okay, so if you have financial adjustment in the second with Jupiter going into the fifth, I've seen it more times that I can count where the combination of the second and the fifth house will show up where a person has to adjust their money, their finances, their work their work schedule, because they realise oh baby number two is about to be born or Oh, I just got pregnant for the third time or we know whatever the case might be. So children and money can also be a big part of this. Now, Jupiter in the fifth house is also very creative. So there could be new forms of creative inspiration coming through or questions about joy. Sometimes you'll also see things like your questions about sexuality, love affairs, things like that popping up through Jupiter in the fifth house. Now when Jupiter's in that fifth house and has connection to the eclipse in the second. You also have to be careful because Jupiter in the fifth is, you know, like very much you can you can waste a lot of money doing things that are sort of frivolous with Jupiter in the fifth. For example, I don't know going going to the mall and spending your next three paychecks that you don't have. So be careful around excessiveness and money and finances or resources in particular, that's my only warning there. Okay, so that's our Scorpio risings.

We're going to go ahead now to putting Sagittarius on the ascendant. When we put Sagittarius on the ascendant the eclipse goes into your first house and the Jupiter Ingress into your fourth now remember this Jupiter Ingress is going to be there next year as well. So Jupiter and Pisces will be present throughout 2022 you're getting a taste of it between mid May and late July. As that's happening. You're looking at Jupiter in the fourth house of home family property, family karma in general. So things look pretty good down there. Overall, Jupiter in the fourth house often increases or expands our family people in the family get married people have kids, you become a grandparent, you move you move houses, you buy property, you buy a piece of land. There's also a sense of joy, possibility, opportunity abundance in general that starts coming in around the around the place of home family and your living environment. At the same time, your lunar eclipse in the first house suggests very personal and sort of existential changes. For example, an identity crisis of bodily or physical transformation, dietary or you know physical workout regimen changing questions about identity or character transforming and also the need to overall you are changing as something around home family and roots are changing. So I would call this the potential for there to be some growth around home and family but it might come as you're also going through some kind of existential identity crisis. The lunar eclipses in the first house don't mess around in terms of calling into question Who am I? Am I healthy? Do I like myself? Is there something fundamentally about me that needs to change. And as you're considering that or as you're going through those changes, this planet of abundance, generally speaking, and growth and fertility is entering the fourth house of home, and family. So watch for those combinations this month, all the way through July, and then again, you're going to get a big dose of that Jupiter in the fourth house of home and family next year.

Alright, so let's go ahead and put Capricorn on the ascendant. With Capricorn on the ascendant. The Lunar Eclipse falls into your 12th house, one of the more challenging places for that Eclipse, Jupiter falls into your third, this is a this to me, this is one of the more interesting combinations of the month I find that if I'm sitting down with my notes, and I have trouble describing what I'm seeing that that usually means that it's the one that it's going to be really interesting and also that I usually make call outs to the Sign In particular, if I want to hear more about how it turns out. So Capricorn risings, leave me your comments. in the chat box below. I'd love to hear how your experiences are this month. And as the next couple of months unfold. You've got a solar lunar eclipse in your 12th house. Now lunar eclipses in the 12th house will often coincide with a deeper, letting go deeper, sometimes that's going to be health problems that kind of wake you up relationships that end family drama that goes on work, drama that goes on, it really could be any area of life, but 12th house lunar eclipses are often about a more painful transitional event. Now, painful transitions don't have to be the end of the world. When I say those words, I know that people hear them and immediately get alarmed. Transitions happen all the time, think about autumn and and the end of autumn into winter. In a sense, it's like that it's a kind of dissolving or letting go or ending. Completing something with the connotation that there might be a little bit more difficulty grief or a dose of a small dose, hopefully, of suffering involved. That's the nature of the 12th house, we can't make that go away. But now here's what I here's the big but Jupiter entering the third house is also something that's very renewing for the mind. Jupiter is moving into its own home sign, very positive, expansive Jupiter, and it's moving into the house that's associated with your mind and your mindset. So even if there are some painful transitions this month for Capricorn rising so there's coming to having to come to terms with something basically even internally doesn't even have to be something that's happening externally. It's just Okay, I'm coming to terms with something, I'm seeing something the way that it is, or I'm realising something has been taking me off track or I'm under starting to understand something that's been sort of unconscious, and it's a little bit painful or difficult to realise. And then Jupiter in the fifth comes in as a renewing presence mentally and emotionally. So the renewal is there this month. In fact, the renewal comes prior to the eclipse. So there may be a sense in which you're starting to get your life back together or your mind or your body or any area of your life back together as you're starting to see things clearly starting to feel inspiration, but then it's kind of like realising I need to clean out the attic. It's gonna feel so good to clean out the attic. Oh my god, I have the inspiration motivation to do it. And then you open up the attic and you look at it and you go, oh my god, you know, like, like a little bit like that. So well. That's what I'm seeing for my Capricorn rising but, you know, you've you've You are the sign that can do it. If you if you put your mind to it. There's nothing that the Capricorns can't do really.

So. Alright, let's go to our Aquarius sun and rising signs. So you put Aquarius on the ascendant and we're looking at the Jupiter Ingress into your second house with the lunar eclipse in your 11th house. So the lunar eclipse on May 26. The Jupiter Ingress on May 13. Now the Jupiter Ingress into your second house, generally speaking brings a lot of positivity and growth around money, finances and resources. A resource could be a person in your life that helps you somehow intimately for your own. You know, they prop you up somehow, could be something to do with money. It could have something to do with business, it could have something to do with skill development, anything that will act or serve as a personal form of support or resource you look at in the second house Jupiter there a planet of abundance and its own sign really supportive. You'll get a taste for that. This is remember this is really going to be affecting you in 2022. You're getting a taste for between mid May and late July of this year. So kind of keep your eyes open and see what's developing there because it's going to be built upon next year as well. Meanwhile, May 26, you have a lunar eclipse in your 11th house, a place of community friends, allies groups, so there's some turnover happening there. lunar eclipses closed doors bring culmination completion and resolution so there's some kind of season that is coming to a close in your life around friends, groups, communities, etc. that may not happen all at once, eclipses rarely, you know, indicate something that's going to happen on the actual day of an eclipse sometimes, but I would say over the course of the next few months, don't be surprised if some dimension of your life socially professionally, with, with relationships, colleagues, different forms of allies or support that you've had in the past are changing or shifting considerably. So that's how I'm seeing it for my Aquarius risings.

All right, well, last but not least, we're going to put Pisces on the ascendant. So if you are a Pisces back in the angular houses, your may 26 Eclipse is happening in your career house. Well, Jupiter's ingressing into your home sign. Okay, I love this one. You know, so in some ways, saving the best for last. You're having your you've had if you're a Pisces rising, you've had your ruling planet Jupiter and Saturn sign for a long time right now. When Jupiter comes back around to your home sign, it is really a moment of personal rebirth. People when Jupiter hits that first sign if you're a Sagittarius, or a Pisces rising, and Jupiter comes into Sagittarius or Pisces, it's usually a very exceptional year, meaning you start new things, you get pregnant, you start a new relationship, you start a new job, you start a new company, you change your body somehow, you always have to be careful with Jupiter in the first house that you don't become excessive, like people do gain weight when Jupiter goes into the first house, because they'll kind of eat too much or whatever. So you can you can get a little proud or like cocksure or high on yourself when Jupiter's in the first. But generally speaking, it's a year of bringing faith trust, hope and inspiration back into your very sense of self. And from that inspiration, starting new things, you're going to start seeing some of that inspiration for personal change between May and late July, mid May, here on May 13, and late July, and then you're going to really be building upon it in 2022, as early as January of 2022. Now this personal transformation, it's really like growing wings, it's a great transit for Pisces. And at the same time, you're seeing a lunar eclipse coming in through your career house in late May, there's been eclipses in your career house, there also be an eclipse in June in your house of home and family. So there's changes around work and home and family and those are coinciding with this kind of personal rebirth. But the May 26 eclipse will coincide with a kind of culmination or an energy of completion and resolution or finishing a season in your life around, you know, probably around work around your professional life, around your work reputation in the world. And then again, the nice, really the good silver lining there is, as there's a transition happening professionally between now and the end of the year. You're also in a stage where you're really ready for the next chapter to reboot rebirth, you know, in I guess in computer lingo, you're ready for version 2.0. You know, you're ready for some kind of personal upgrade. And next year, there'll be a lot of hope and inspiration, you're getting a little bit of a taste for that between now and July, the only thing I could say is Be patient, because it's possible that you feel like the thing that you really are excited about has to wait to get to like late July, and all of a sudden you're like, wait, what I you know, it might back off a little bit. And then don't lose hope because that that energy of revitalization will come back around the very end of the year, late December and then 20 2022, you'll probably really take off with some of the things that you're hoping to take off with. Okay, so that's what I've got for everybody. Thank you all for being just patient and really generous. And gracious as my time is really constrained right now. So my horoscopes have been pretty brief. My videos have been pretty brief. I know, everyone out there who's been waiting to like, take a shot and be like, well, I don't like when you talk for 30 minutes. So thank god well, glad you still wasn't glad you're still watching, I guess, you know, but at any rate, I am glad that some people do like the more concise videos that feedback has been heard. And you know, I'll try to include shorter hit videos here or there anyway, because apparently some people are really liking it. So for me, I appreciate being able to open up and expand a little bit more in the videos and so maybe a mix of both after some of the feedback I've gotten. But at any rate, I hope you guys have a really awesome month of May I look forward to unpacking all of the transits of the month if you haven't watched my overview for the month of May and all the transits we're going to be unpacking take a look at those as well. And we will be Yeah, there's so much to eclipse season carries over into June the Saturn Uranus square comes back in June. There's so much to look forward to.
