Hey everyone, this is Adam Elenbaas from nightlight astrology. Today, we are going to take a look at your SunSun and rising sign horoscopes for the month of June 2024. Alex is not with me today. He's traveling, and we were not able to coordinate our schedules together, so he will be back next month and going forward. Of course, he'll be with me, but it's a rare kind of situation where we weren't able to sync up this month, and I'm glad he's getting to do some traveling. That's really it's really good. So, I will be breaking down your horoscopes, and we're going to be looking in particular at the energy exchange happening between the sign of Gemini and especially at the trine from Jupiter to Pluto across the Gemini and Aquarius trine.
In addition to that, we'll be looking at the whole sign house of Gemini, in particular, where the new moon takes place. And then we're also going to be looking at the square that's happening, all of the squares that are happening between Gemini and Pisces. So, like three whole sign houses that will be riffing on for all 12 signs today.
If you missed it, you can also look at the monthly overview for June, where I look at all of the transits that are coming through. I'm really excited to announce that I will be adding a second co-host very soon. Alex has been helping me with horoscopes for a while. I will be adding a second co-host to the show for the monthly overview videos, someone to help create some conversation and dialogue and add more thoughts and delineations into the big overview for the month that I do. Right next to horoscopes at the end of every month and prior to the start of the next month.
So stay tuned for that because, over the summer, you'll get to meet someone new who is going to be helping me break down those big monthly overviews. Anyway. So that's our agenda for today.
Before we get into it, as always, don't forget to like, subscribe, and share your comments and reflections as we go today. It's always nice to hear from you guys. You can find transcripts of any of these daily talks on the website nightlight astrology.com. I want to take you over to the website because we are promoting two things. One is my monthly webinar for the month of June. And the other one is our upcoming programs. So, if you go to the events page, click on live talks, and scroll down, you will see June 13. I'm giving a talk called The 12th House of the World We Struggled to See. This is about the healing potential of the 12th house in your birth chart. So if you are interested in that talk, it's from seven to 9pm on June 13. If you can't make it live to the webinar, we will send you the recording link afterward; you can watch the replay. So, that's again on June 13. Hope to see you guys there. It's a really good talk; I think on the 12th house that everyone will like. It's a very misunderstood house and a house that, if we do take the time to understand, there's so much healing potential there for us. The first of your courses in Ancient Astrology begins on June 16. While the early bird sale is over, need-based tuition is still available. So, if you want to take the course but need a little help, you can apply for need-based tuition. Also, there is still a normal payment and payment plan available for you. But anyway, that starts June 16. A really good astrological transit to study under is the Jupiter, Pluto, trine, and air signs. It's a really nice auspicious time to enter into astrological training. If you stick around at the end of today's program, I have also tagged an informational video about the horary program, which also begins in June. Airy astrology is a very specific form of traditional predictive astrology that deals with yes or no outcome-oriented questions like Will I get the job? Is she pregnant? Will we get married? Will my cat come home? It's a fascinating form of astrology, and you need to have a little background in traditional astrology. But check that out as well. If you stick around again after today's talk, there's an informational video that will actually show you what a horary reading looks like. So you can see it and decide if it's something that you may want to study this June as well. So, that is our promotion for those days. Any questions about any of that material? Email us info@nightlightastrology.com
All right, so let's talk about the transits of the month. Then, we will start breaking them down for all 12 signs, starting with Aries. I do miss Alex being here. I will tell you right away it just doesn't feel like horoscopes without him. But he'll be back again next month, and we will be here for the rest of the summer. So, really, the major event of the month involves so many planets, including Jupiter entering Gemini, a New Moon in Gemini, and Venus cazimi at the heart of the Sun under the New Moon in Gemini. Mercury is in its own domicile in Gemini, and everything is Gemini's focus. These smarts mean the whole sign house of Gemini in your birth chart is very active.
All these planets go through squares throughout the month of June, from Saturn to Pisces and Neptune to Pisces. So, we're going to look at the combination of the Gemini and Pisces houses. Then, the other thing that we need to pay attention to is the activating energy in a smooth, harmonious trine that is of very, very active quality between Jupiter and Pluto. Those two planets are really energizing things this month. So we'll also see the trine between the whole sign house of Gemini and Aquarius as a feature of this month's horoscopes.
So, I'm going to roll through the emphasis on Gemini as the baseline for all 12 signs. I'm going to look at the squares to the sign of Pisces as a secondary layer of information. And I'm also going to look at the trine between Jupiter and Pluto in Gemini and Aquarius as another very active part of the month ahead. So, without further ado, let's get into it. Here we go.
Aries
So, for Aries, again, the baseline is Gemini. So that's your third house, place of mind and environment, mind mood, emotional, physical environment. So when you see a new moon here, so much focus on the third house, you're thinking about the desire to change the environment; it could be a physical change of location, mental or emotional shifts, or something about the environment changing dramatically. And probably with respect, the way it's changing is with respect to ideas and people and the kind of stimulating air energy that Gemini represents, which will bring in new people's thoughts, ideas, and plans.
It will bring in new kinds of material that you're learning or getting curious about. It may also stimulate change with respect to things like technology or the way that you perceive things in the way that you communicate. Communication this month is key for Aries.
So when you see all of that, and then you notice that one of the key dynamics of the month also involves Jupiter, trine, and Pluto in the 11th house, a place of friends and allies, a place that connects us to people who will who are conducive to the realization of our aspirations, dreams, goals, and plans. Now, we're starting to see that the busyness of the mental activity in the third house is connected to allies, groups of people, and larger dreams and ambitions in the 11th.
So, I look at this for Aries. And I think, yeah, the people, thoughts, ideas, stimulation of mental activity this month, and the social connections that are available are really exciting. There's something about the skills you're learning and developing the ideas, thoughts, and plans that are being shaped right now. Again, this is especially true with respect to people and groups of people who may be helpful or useful to you in the realization of your goals or dreams. There could also be some emphasis on changing your mind and allowing your mind to be changed by important new people or groups entering your life.
But anyway, all of this has the feeling of it had the feeling of being very supportive to those Aries folks out there right now; with Mars and the North Node in your first house, there's a lot of emphasis on the need to individuate and take a stand or to act in a way that you know is very assertive and direct like this is what I want. This is what I'm doing. And all of this airy energy suggests new strategies, plans, ideas, people, and social currents that are pushing you toward the realization of your dreams.
With respect to the square that exists between the whole sign house of Gemini and the 12th house where we see Saturn and Neptune and all of these planets in Gemini, we'll be going through squares as the month goes on to Saturn and Neptune in the 12th. This is important because as much as the picture for Aries looks like forward movement and a lot of social and mental stimulation. There are emotional undercurrents and questions about what you are willing to sacrifice on behalf of the things you want or desire. And whether those sacrifices are healthy or not, which may call into question the ambitions that you have in nature of them and whether they are, in turn, healthy or not. There may also be questions about emotional intelligence.
A lot of the Airy energy paired with, you know, Mars and a fire sign in your first house, it feels like there's a lot of Mental Action, which means I have strong ideas and the desire or impetus to act on them as quickly as possible. It's like pressing the gas pedal. But Saturn and Neptune may force you to slow down and think about the emotional consequences of your actions. Or they may force you to think about the broader and more long-term ramifications of various choices you're making on people and relationships in your life. There may also be some themes of compassion or concern for more universal topics in relation to what may feel like a very personally fruitful and ambitious period of time.
So, it's asking you to perhaps weigh your personal goals and ambitions against larger needs or larger, more universal themes. And the contrast between me, the individual, and a larger collective where other people's needs are maybe coming into a little bit of conflict this month, it's something to work out. It's not wrong to have personal agendas or desires. But there may be some way in which you are being forced to look at those in relation to other people's needs and values or other people's hurts and pains. That's what's coming to my mind. And that sometimes, what is right when we want to move forward at all costs, it is as though the needs of others come into focus. And we can't; we can't sort of leave other people behind in the way that we're acting.
On the other hand, sometimes people or things try to hold us back right at a time when we need to take a step forward and perhaps set better boundaries. And we have to stop blocking ourselves from some kind of growth or change and let other people figure it out for themselves. So, it can go in either direction, at any rate. All right. So, to me, those are some of Aries's big themes. Let's move on to Taurus.
Taurus
So for Taurus, the baseline again is with respect to Gemini and this New Moon in Gemini, Jupiter entering Gemini, the cazimi of Venus in Gemini. Excuse me. So this has to do with what you're building, growing, developing, or cultivating. The second house is the house of money, not because it's just the house of money, but because money is the result of things that you grow, develop, and cultivate by virtue of your skills, talents, and abilities. The second house is really anything that you own, possess, develop, or cultivate through your own effort, skills, and intelligence.
So, for Tauruses right now, the emphasis is either on the fruit of your labor or starting to see some kind of manifestation of things growing in the garden of life that you've been building and developing. Or it could be about the launching of a cycle where you're going to start developing and building new things, new resources, new streams of revenue or income, new aspects of your business, or even new parts of your body.
The second house is related to all of those assets and resources that we cultivate, both physical, mental, and intellectual, and could be a period of time in which you're developing new skills or resources for yourself. As a professional, it could be about things you're developing with respect to your health or your body, your wealth, or your income. And but it's also about, you know, the kinds of energy expenditures that are coming up right now.
You think about income and expenses in the second house, generally speaking, so it's energy output in intake. You could say, anyhow, that the interesting piece here is that we see Jupiter getting energized by a trine to Pluto. So what you're cultivating right now, if you're a Taurus, has a direct relationship with this kind of transformative and revisionary process that Pluto is bringing into your career house or into the house of your public reputation, public image, and so forth.
So, with respect to the theme of building and developing growing values, resources, and assets, there's an intimate connection between that and this kind of process of transformation that Pluto has been initiating with respect to your career since earlier this year. Finally, I think that we can see a strong relationship between the cultivations of the second house for Taurus and some of the limiting or broader considerations that Saturn and Neptune are forcing you to consider with respect to groups, community, friends, allies, the larger picture of social connections and What kind of loyalties or alliances emotional concerns and sacrifice Are you making within broader communities?
So, for example, as you're growing things in the second house that are ostensibly like for you, there may be concern or question that you're looking at, you're no kind of you're evaluating where some of those values lie with respect to larger communities, groups, or collectives. So how are the development or growth of your values relating back to larger concerns for other people or larger, more humanitarian or charitable concerns?
It may also be about what you're growing or developing and reaching the limits of how much of that can go to or belong to other people or groups or collective concerns that may not really be your own. And so, again, we were talking about this with Aries. But there's almost a sense of what I can and cannot sacrifice of what I have or what I'm developing. And also what I may need to sacrifice or what kinds of concerns, like legitimate concerns, I need to pay more attention to with respect to other people or the larger world that I'm a part of as I'm cultivating or trying to grow new things.
So it's a really interesting time for Taurus where the development of assets, resources, changing career is also sort of pitted against larger collective concerns that you may be done caring about, that you have to stop giving too much to, or that you may feel like you need to take into deeper consideration and give more to so that you can really go either way. Anyway, those are just a few thoughts that come to my mind for Taurus rising, so I do miss having Alex here to bounce things off from; um, let's go on to Gemini.
Gemini
So, with Gemini again, the baseline for the month is all of this activity; with respect to your first hole sign, house all of the activity in the sign of Gemini for Gemini risings. This makes the month pretty personal. When you have so much taking place in the first house, it's a Jupiter year now in your first house; we're really thinking about how we can grow and expand and learn and develop personally psychologically. Jupiter in your first house is a learning year. What are you here to learn this year? How is Jupiter, the metaphorical guru, here to enlighten your life in the next year? Some of that will be through the ways in which you visit the shadows of your ego, your pride, your sense of self-importance, or your lack of confidence and the need to build more of it or curb it if there needs to be a little more humility.
So it's a year of tremendous learning for Geminis, the cultivation of new skills, ideas, and thoughts, visiting your psychology, really looking at your behavioral patterns, and asking if they are taking you where you want to go. There's a reset of personal values and maybe even a shift with respect to your health or your appearance. Or with respect to your sense of identity, who I am, and why. It was a big learning year there, and I love this energy. One of the things that it is also associated with is the whole sign and degree-based trine. This whole sign trine will be active for a whole year, and the degree-based trine will happen right here at the beginning of June, though, between Jupiter and Pluto across the first and ninth houses. So, these personal changes are coming as you are also trying to make some very deep and profound revisions to your belief systems.
The ninth house really has to do with our understanding of reality from a spiritual, theological, and philosophical perspective. It is the house of learning and education. And so, how are you changing as some kind of educational process is unfolding? Or how are you shifting your understanding of self or even your physical body or your sense of calling purpose and character in the world? As you are also looking at these deep, intense transformations of beliefs, understanding the question about teachers and education is in the air, maybe also some really important travel that could happen in the next year that is conducive to self-exploration and in the kind of transformation of identity implied by all of these first house planets. So I love that connection there. It's very smooth. I would also feel like it's a year to be experimental and ask a lot of questions about who you are and why you're here. We also see that for Geminis this month, there's going to be a pretty strong connection between all of these squares and Saturn and Neptune in Pisces in your 10th house.
So as you are taking off, you sort of the first house is like you're pressing the gas pedal on personal change self-exploration, and it feels there's a really exciting energy in the air with all this Gemini, all these Gemini transits in your first house, all of the squares to Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, again, speak to me about the need for greater emotional awareness and intelligence, how are your choices impacting the world?
Or what kinds of sacrifices do you need to make with respect to your career? Or your calling and your purpose? And maybe perhaps more public, societal, or professional sense? And what kinds of sacrifices do you need to make so that who you are and what you have is actually contributing in some way to the world? Are there sacrifices that need to be made so that what you're doing is not too insular or removed from broader concerns? We all are social animals. And so there's some call to look carefully at your personal growth in relation to a kind of obligation to the collective that you're being asked to consider, especially with respect to your career.
On the other hand, sometimes we feel beholden to the collective at the cost of our own individuality. And that's a theme we're seeing repeated over and over with all the squares to Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, such concern for collective emotions and needs, such a collective potential for collective guilt around well, am I giving enough, have I done enough for others, that could be something that is helpful this month, it's like an evaluation that you need to do to make sure that you're not developing individually at the cost of being like a, someone whose Dharma is contributing to the world.
But on the other hand, just as we've been saying, for a few other signs, if you're sacrificing too much of yourself out of a sense of guilt, but you might have a martyr complex, and then it doesn't do any good, it doesn't do any good to sacrifice something that you're not really willing or able to sacrifice, you're doing so out of a sense of guilt or obligation. And that just twists all the results. So those are themes that I would really consider between the house of identity in the house of career or, you know, sort of public contribution through vocation. Anyway, it was a really interesting month for Geminis.
Cancer
Let's go ahead and put Cancer on the ascendant. So once you put Cancer on the ascendant, gosh, everything is congregated in the 12th. House, I mean, it is 12 housey. With this collection of energies in the 12th house, you can anticipate that the baseline for the month of June is about things that surprise you from the unconscious, the unconscious; the 12th house is a place we cannot see. It's a blind spot.
For Cancers, this means that surprising, stimulating, unexpected energy is sort of, sort of bustling about in a place you cannot see. As the month goes on, you will be able to see it, and gradually, things will come into view that you were not able to see previously. And that's kind of exciting. However, there is there are. There's always healing and work to be done when 12th House Energy comes up. I would say most of this to me with Jupiter in the 12th, which is almost always about growth.
That happens, that's like, easier than you can easily see it has gone worse than like, oh, this could have been a lot worse; Jupiter tends to deliver lessons from the unconscious in the 12th house in ways that you kind of go, whew, that could have been back could have turned out bad. But you end up having this kind of grace or ease or readiness to receive the teachings from the unconscious. And we have both been here, a new moon in the 12th house, and then all of these planets move into the first house, and it's like, Okay, now we are, we're really turning a corner, and you'll be able to start seeing things that were just stating unconsciously and that you were unaware of. That will happen as Venus goes into Cancer later in the month, and the Sun progresses into Cancer, and so forth.
So there will be a way in which things that are happening behind the scenes or in places you cannot see will become visible, and you'll have to kind of square up and deal with them. I think that they may actually be surprisingly good with Jupiter entering into that house. So, the trine between Jupiter and Pluto takes place across the 12th and the eighth.
Now, these two houses were both considered in Indian astrology to be Moksha houses, which means that there's a way in which the planets in these places contribute to a freeing up of like karmic bondage that we go through often through difficulty we liberate ourselves from I really liked the month of June as a moment of tremendous karmic lightning, it is as though whatever we're facing if you're a Cancer in the unconscious space, I really do think that it's a blessing in disguise, the Jupiter Pluto dynamic across the 12th. And the eighth is sort of like, you know, you realize you need to get out of a lease, right? And you're like, Well, I've been let out of the lease miraculously because the landlord decided, it said, deciding to sell the building. And if it wouldn't, that wouldn't have happened; I've been stuck. And there's this feeling that things could have gone so much worse.
But liberation is happening karmically behind the scenes, and some are letting go. Sure, that might be a little painful or difficult, but it's for the better somehow. And these are the kinds of deeper release of energy that's happening and freeing things up. But there are, you know, 12th and eighth house stuff is not easy. There are karmic contracts that have to be lightened and released. In order to do so, there may be some painful level of awareness or recognition of unconscious material that you have to wrestle with.
But again, I think, ultimately, this is going to be a very positive thing, and by the end of the month, a lot lighter for cancers. Now, simultaneously, we also have all of these squares to Saturn and Neptune in the ninth house, which means that there's going to be this very intimate connection between this kind of unconscious stirring of material and the ninth house, which is the place of religion, spirituality, philosophy, learning long journeys.
And so when I look at this, I think to myself, yeah, this unconscious material is part of a process that's been going on for a while for Cancers, of looking at our sense of moral or theological obligation or responsibility, like all of us, by virtue of what we believe, end up feeling bound or obligated to various people and to various behaviors. And there may be some sense that this is the month where we realize we need to return to a path of faith where we've been, we've been out to sea, we've been questioning things, there's been doubt there's been uncertainty. And now we're seeing that in order to navigate some of the tumultuousness, we need to come back to something resembling a faith path, a committed set of beliefs or practices.
On the other hand, there may be ways in which this month ahead is causing us to further question doubt or refine or let go of beliefs or thought forms that are not really useful any longer. But I think that the kind of encounter with the unconscious for Cancers is intimately tied to faith and questions or challenges around beliefs that are still in the process of evolving and developing and just kind of allow that process to happen. Don't feel like you need to come to any answers immediately, but allow the questioning and the journey of the month to contribute to the further development and refining of your faith, wisdom, and understanding.
Leo
All right, so let's move on to Leo's. For Leos, we place a big emphasis on the new moon in Gemini. And that's going to start as the baseline of the month by emphasizing the house of friends, allies, and community. The 11th house is called The Joy of Jupiter. And it's a place that is all about the things, the people, the resources that are conducive to the realization of our dreams, aspirations, wishes, and hopes. That's a very positive house in that sense, and for Leos, I would see this month as one in which a lot of new people, allies, and resources are opening themselves up. Maybe so many of them or enough of them that some discernment or some careful choosing among options is the hardest part of the process. But I could also see this as just a period of time in which, like, again, an image I've been using recently is like a field of pollinating bees, you know, there you can just see them moving from flower to flower.
There are a lot of avenues and streams of information, people, and opportunities that appear to be coming up for Leos this month. One of the interesting pieces to consider is that Jupiter in the 11th is also training Pluto in the seventh, which means that there may be a way in which some of these social opportunities and changes are being energized by a process of change and transformation that's also been taking place with respect to love and intimacy.
So when you think about Jupiter in the 11th trine and Pluto in the seventh, you think about what kinds of people have entered my life in the past year or so that have been making a big impact on me in very deep personal ways probably through things like intimacy and love you And in what ways are those relationships participating in larger and more dynamic social, and maybe professional changes in my life, when we meet new people, they often become Instrumental with respect to our dreams and goals. I remember, you know, when I met my wife, you know, is a very 11 Seven kind of connection, where we were both at critical junctures in our careers and the relationship while being exciting, you know, on an interpersonal level, like we're excited about each other, it was also a lot of things that we were, you know, that we were inspiring each other professionally. And we ended up opening a yoga studio together, and so forth.
So I wonder if, for Leos, there isn't also some sense of the collaborative ambitions and aspirations in your life being intimately tied to big changes that have been happening in the sphere of love and relationships. So that's one way of thinking about it. And then finally, we also do see continued squares across the Gemini Pisces houses throughout the month, that eighth house dynamic, and again, Saturn, Neptune, so much about collective obligation. And so in the eighth house, it's like, Okay, here's all this exciting and sort of busy stimulated looking 11th House stuff going on, you know, and that, I, again, I would say, that probably means that there's a lot of possibilities, opportunities, avenues of collaboration opening up. And that energy is very exciting. It makes you feel like you can accomplish new things.
The Saturn Neptune square feels like someone or something that's holding you back weight that, you know, it's like, it's like, well, I could do this, but I have these karmic, I have this one karmic contract, that I you know, it's like, I often see this in the lives of clients, for example, across eight when they're excited about something, but they've got to take care of an ailing parent or grandparent, and it takes up a ton of their time. And they can't move forward because they're bound to help someone path out of their body, right? That's like an 11 to eight kind of obligation.
What obligations do you have to other people, and what emotional forms of sacrifice or consent concern or consideration for others are holding you back right now? And which of those obligations ought to hold you back because maybe you're getting too fired up and cocky, and you're getting out over your skis. And so there might be something about Saturn and Neptune in the eighth holding you back. You know, just gently reminding you that there's there are bigger themes that have to be incorporated into whatever you're trying to do right now. Other contracts, soul contracts that have to be finalized, or you can't just skip past them; you're obligated inbound to them in some way.
Now, the other thing could be that maybe you have a tendency to put others first so regularly, and maybe it's an old pattern of seeking recognition through self-sacrifice. And a lot of the times, people will say, Well, I can be sacrificing. Maybe that makes me special; maybe that grants me some sense of being special to other people if I'm constantly sacrificing. And this might be an opportunity to sort of say, Yeah, but only up to a certain point. And then, if I keep going, I'm going to I'm going to sacrifice elements of myself that are not healthy. So again, that's so much the theme with Saturn and Neptune in Pisces this month. But questions about karmic contract sacrifice, maybe over overly sacrifice being overly sacrificial and discerning about the difference. Those are things coming up with respect to the squares between Gemini and Pisces in the 11th and eighth.
Virgo
All right, let's go to Virgo. So, the baseline is our new Moon in Gemini for Virgos, which is in the 10th house. And that is going to place the emphasis for the month on the place of career. So you think about Jupiter entering the career house, a new moon, Venus, cazimi, and Mercury being there; gosh, the feeling is that there is an abundance of new energy coming in and starting to shape and or reshape or refine or refocus your career path I love Jupiter up there for a year of growth opportunities for learning more and being more masterful to literally be better at what you do when Jupiter is in the 10th or maybe even to receive promotion, or for there to be a very fruitful creative energy at work in the career house. And maybe a sense of trying out new things or different options appearing with Gemini being assigned that often introduces multiplicities at the same time; if we look carefully, we can see Jupiter, trine, and Pluto in the sixth.
To me, this means that it's also a year of a lot of work with Pluto in The sixth place that, at its worst, is about drudgery and having to persevere and overcome difficult things. It's a chop wood carry water kind of house, but the trine between these two planets, which is ultimately, I think, very positive. It's also again, I think it's generally beneficial to have Jupiter in your 10th house. When you have the two planets in a trine, you think to yourself, if I work really hard this year, I can dramatically change my situation professionally and personally; my work and my role in the world can look very different if I ride a wave of energy and keep doing the difficult work, persevere, overcome, continue to follow the creative threads, pulling on them and following the enthusiasm of Jupiter in the 10th. And not being concerned about the work you have to do along the way.
There's this kind of very fruitful, creative energy at work. But I do believe that in order to get the most out of Jupiter in your 10th, in the year ahead, you're going to have to, you can't be allergic to, you know, to have to do some difficult work and persevere and overcome. There's you're building something, it's it, there's developmental support for it. But the sixth house, Pluto, suggests that, yeah, in order to get there, you are going to have to overcome some challenges along the way, but the energy is there to do it.
Finally, we see the squares over and over from Gemini to Pisces in the seventh house, the space of love and relationships. I wonder if there isn't a curveball thrown in this year with respect to love and relationships. And you'll see this theme repeating in almost every horoscope that I've done so far today, where Saturn and Neptune tend to point toward collective obligations that could be like a guilt trip, a cosmic guilt trip that you need to get over with respect to love, partnerships that are not, you know, sometimes, as much as we love people, and they love us, when we're succeeding and moving forward, people get scared or they're going to be left behind. Or they resent, and they're, they're, maybe they're relating to us from an insecure form of attachment style. You guys have heard about that before. And so if that's the case, then there could be a way of trying to hold us back. You know, unconsciously, it's like I want to hold this person close; I'm afraid that their growth will mean that I'm being left behind. Well, that could be a real situation that Virgos has to overcome this year with respect to their growth opportunities that someone's trying to hold back.
On the other hand, there could be a way in which you just need to balance the trajectory you're on with the people that you're loyal to and that you care for and that whatever they're going through, you also need to stand by them for as they go through. So that's what I'm seeing for my Virgos right now, that kind of complex of energies at work. And overall, I do think it's a great year for you guys with Jupiter in the 10th.
Libra
Alright, let's go on to Libra. This places the emphasis on the Gemini stellium in your ninth house, the place of wisdom and understanding, learning and long journeys, Horizon expanding travel experiences, teachers, gurus, theology, religion, and mysticism, and this is really a house that suggests for Libras that the month of June is about refining and developing a philosophical outlook. It could also be about returning to school or developing your understanding through teachers and education.
There could be meaningful travel coming this month. Whatever the case may be, we know that this is a month where this is a Dharma house and it's connected through a trine to the first house, so the question of cultivating your understanding through continued reflection and learning, study and inquiry, doubt and questioning but also opening yourself to learn and be guided this these are the themes that are very important for Libras this month, and in a sense will continue to be important for the year ahead.
Now, when we see that Jupiter in the ninth is training Pluto in the fifth and other Dharma houses that are intimately created to a sense of creative fulfillment that comes with inhabiting our best self, we should ideally feel creatively stimulated and happy. And some degree of creative fulfillment should accompany the development of faith, understanding wisdom, and the development of our character.
So this is a year in which, in order for you to grow personally, you have to look at the process of learning of faith, have your philosophical views evolving and developing, ask good questions of being a learner, of expanding your horizons and of looking at the looking closely at the connection between your evolving spiritual outlook and education and the level of creative fulfillment? Do you feel satisfied and happy? And creatively? Do you feel fulfilled? Are you doing things that give you a strong sense of creative fruitfulness, you know? Does your life bear fruit creatively, which means I feel like I'm doing things and creating things with my free will that are beautiful and that give me a sense of being on a path? So that, along with philosophical development, forms a huge part of the month of June and also the year ahead for Libras.
Now, when we look carefully at the squares this month between Gemini and Pisces, here, we see that the development of faith because of the kind of philosophical transformation that's depicted by the ninth house is also happening in relation to Saturn, Neptune in the sixth, a place of sacrifice a place of hard work. So we know that the opening of the mind and the questioning of the ninth house, which is a place of learning, is happening, as you're also exploring those emotional weighty hindrances that tie us into bigger dimensions of life, for example, okay, I'm learning I'm growing, I'm evolving. I'm getting excited. I'm churning and transforming my mind. I'm opening up creatively. What about suffering?
What about the collective existence of suffering? That sextile Saturn and Neptune is a bit like asking Yeah, but what about disease? Or what if I'm opening and expanding my mind and getting excited, but I have to have foot surgery or something like that? Very Pisces, right? Or what if, as I'm opening to all of these new things, I also find that there's some sense of collective obligation here, but what about, okay, I'm growing and evolving my worldview? But what do I do philosophically as just a little individual with respect to trying to help in the great picture of humanity and all of the problems that people like?
Shouldn't I have some role collectively, so sacrifice hurt, pain, disease, suffering, all of the weighty collective emotional realities of Saturn and Neptune in the six are participating in the unfolding of new thoughts, ideas, learning, and even the emphasis on personal creative growth is having to square with the presence of suffering and sacrifice and larger emotional problems that exist in the world. So it's a weighty place to be considering all these things at once.
Scorpio
All right, so we will continue to Scorpio now. Okay, we are on to Scorpio. I had to take time to pause for just a second there because my daughter was knocking at the door. She was, just, what are you doing? Do you want to sit in on Scorpio? No.
So okay, so here we go. We are now looking at Scorpio and the collection of planets acting as the anchor for the month in the sign of Gemini in the eighth. Now, one of the things that happen when we see benefics getting together in the eighth is the Venus cazimi at heart at the heart of the Sun, a new moon, and Jupiter in the eighth.
One of the most positive significations of the eighth house involves the esteem of other people, which means what they have to offer or give us because they like us or because they are obligated to us in some ways, karmically and not necessarily a bad way like you owe me or something just the truth of the matter is that we owe people things in this lifetime. And they owe us things emotionally, financially, and in all sorts of other ways. And the eighth house really speaks to those soul contracts. And what I like here about the upside of Jupiter in the eighth is the potential for us to basically inherit or come into the receipt of good things karmically through other people.
Now that could; there could also be some warning that, you know, we're going to Jupiter, and Venus could also mean that we're going to be asked to give abundantly to other people, or that we will receive abundantly from other people. That could also be the establishment of many new types of karmic relationships where there's some kind of give and take. It could also be about freeing up old karma and entering new karmic relationships as a result. So that is all I think. It's really exciting.
Now, the other thing we have to look for here is the fact that Jupiter is training Pluto, and the Jupiter trine to Pluto will energize the development of the eighth house, karmic contracts, for better or worse by also putting us in touch with some history that comes from our roots. So, home family is A parent's ancestral karma, karma with respect to a partner or spouse's family or our own living environment. So the kinds of karmic contracts entering our life and the give and take implied by all of the Gemini energy in the eighth is also tied intimately to the continued transformation that's been occurring since Pluto entered the fourth around the topics of home, family, and living environment.
So the two are kind of inflecting mutually inflicted upon one another this month. And I think that probably means that the potential for a transformation of karmic circumstance such that we're coming into contact with better or more supportive resources is there, but it may also require some, you know, turning over of the soil like aerating the soil, at the roots of our lives, and that could mean you know, the process of Plutonian change and transformation, which is often a little intense, it is very active this month for Scorpios, especially around home and family. Now, the other key thing that's happening is all of the squares to Saturn and Neptune in Pisces.
Now, again, Saturn, Neptune is often about the kind of collective collective karmic debts and also reaching the limits of things. I wonder if, like, one of the things that I would be very careful about what's for Scorpios right now if I were if you were my client, and I was looking at this, as I would say, be careful of what you sign up for what you agree to, or who you get into relationships with, with respect to happiness, and creative or even sensual fulfillment, Saturn and Neptune in the fifth house are indicators of the potential for repression around things like desire, love, sex, creative fulfillment, and happiness. And I wonder if some of the opportunities being taken advantage of may not come at the cost of some level of creative authenticity, or at the cost of feeling, or being involved with things that make you feel legitimately happy and creatively fulfilled.
Like, don't sacrifice so far because of something beneficial that you want, and you see an opportunity. Oh, this would be really beneficial. But it comes at the cost of feeling. You get, you get you out, and you become out of touch with what makes you feel happy or creatively fulfilled. Now, on the other hand, I would also wonder about karma karmic. How can I put this karma with respect to pleasure and happiness? I could easily see this being about relationships that have to change or evolve or grow because there are questions about what constitutes healthy pleasure; for example, let me just use an example because I'm stumbling over my words right now.
I could imagine a relationship in which both people or even one person have to give up drinking, give up smoking, or deal with some kind of bad spending habit. So, in other words, I also wonder about how relationships are becoming a mirror for some kind of self-examination and looking carefully at whether or not you're in sort of the right relationship with your creative essence, the surefire sign that you're not in the fifth house is that you're seeking pleasure in ways that are damaging rather than that healthy. So okay, let's move on from Scorpio, which is probably the heaviest and most difficult for me to describe so far, so I apologize.
Sagittarius
Alright, let's move on to Sagittarius. Okay, so for Sagittarius. The baseline for the month is the new moon, the Venus cazimi Jupiter's entrance, all into Gemini in your seventh house. This is the place of love and relationships. This is the place that we know as the place of our intimate connections. Now, if you're single, this could easily mean a month ahead in which you meet someone; if you're in a relationship, that could be an important development in the relationship or for your partner. If you're single, it could mean dating. If you're in a relationship and you need to get out of it. I don't feel like this is a super breakup kind of transit month for Sagittarians in the seventh house. It's possible that the feeling of newness is sort of rushing into your life in relationships because you're getting out of a relationship, but it doesn't have the feeling or look of tons of drama, but more like a lot of activity and opportunity and sort of busyness around the sphere of love and relationships. I think it's really interesting to note that Jupiter in Pluto is transiting Pluto in the third, which, to me, also suggests that there could be this theme of relationships that could extend into a broader social dimension of your life.
The third house is about people who connect to us, like brothers, sisters, neighbors, and anyone who has a kind of folk village connection in our life that's like a part of the social fabric of our everyday lives. All of these energies in Gemini, especially with Jupiter trine and Pluto in the third house, suggest to me that the emphasis on relationships may also sneak into the sort of social periphery of your life where it may not be your immediate relationship. However, important developments in the relationships that people you're close with around you have some kind of greater impact on your life.
I could also see this as a time in which mental energy and like learning, communicating, thinking new thoughts, changing perceptual habits, like ways that you perceive the world changing, communication styles and patterns changing is all happening through relationships because there's such an emphasis on the airiness of the seventh. And third, it's like new people and new thoughts and new thought patterns, and maybe even allowing yourself to be influenced or have your mind changed or guided or at least opened by new people in the Indian environment.
These strike me as some of the biggest and most important themes for Sagittarians. It's also possible to say, Look, if you're single, and you don't meet anyone, you're going out the astrology; what's wrong with astrology? Think instead, rather than thinking about intimate relationships, think about the social dimension of your life in general and what kinds of things are happening in the social hemisphere of your life this month that are causing you to shift your own thoughts or ideas or that are allowing you to learn something new, or what different people or experiences are coming in, that have the effect of opening your mind or changing your mind in some way, that those would also be consistent with the third and seventh house dynamic for people who aren't in a relationship and don't necessarily meet anybody?
Well, the last piece to consider is all of the squares that are being made between Gemini and Pisces. So all of these planets are moving through squares to Saturn and Neptune in the fourth house, which suggests that this social, the theme of social development, relational development, and opening and possibility, in a kind of magic in the social and in the Love House, even that those energies, there are also in a little bit of an intense dialogue with Saturn and Neptune in the fourth, which speaks to your history, your ancestry, your parents, the kind of karma you grew up within your home, or the home and living environment that you're now in or your that your family now that you have, that maybe is your own family.
So, family of origin is the family you have created. And the kinds of emotional weights, obligations, heaviness, the need for sacrifice on behalf of the home family, people in the home and family, that the kinds of things that are at your roots karmically that have formed the foundation of your life, that maybe now there's an opportunity to let go of some of the weightiness of that material. In fact, one of the things that may hold you back from having more fun and socializing and letting new people into your life is a kind of emotional gravitas that holds you back and doesn't allow you to have as much fun as you can.
There's also maybe something to be said for relationships right now. Having to do the work of healing or letting go of past baggage psychologically, that comes from our families and our early conditioning. So those are some of the things that I see really strongly for savages right now.
Capricorn
All right, let's go on to Capricorns. So, for Capricorn, the emphasis is on the sixth house, the sign of Gemini, and everything happening there in the sixth house. It's a really interesting place. It is a place that was associated with all of the hard work that goes into anything that we try to accomplish, learn, develop, and cultivate; it's like you're not getting there without chopping wood and carrying water without persevering and overcoming without sticking with it and working hard. That's what it's called the sixth, which was called The Joy of Mars.
For Capricorns. I love the idea of there being a lot of creative, stimulating thoughts, ideas, people, and perspectives; any and all of them will require effort over time. Gemini is a very playful sign that's not super conducive to, like, the sixth house. So what I would say is that In the next year, especially anything worth developing intellectually, mentally, and technologically, any ideas that feel like the inventive idea that you want to take and run with is going to require work effort, sacrifice, we can see this reiterated by virtue of the fact that Jupiter in your sixth is trying Pluto in the second, you are trying to transform your resources you are trying to build, cultivate and develop things.
And it will require a year of ongoing work, labor, and sacrifice. And you have to be willing to do that work. Gemini can be a little flighty and sometimes a little bit less able to commit. And yet this year, to grow and develop the things you're trying to, whether that's creatively, professionally, in loving relationships, whatever you're trying to build, develop, or cultivate will require ongoing effort, work sacrifice, where new ideas and thoughts that you're most excited about will require constant tending, a constant working and reworking and you can't give up on it, or it will end up being all hot air.
So, for Capricorns, that is the mission. Now. You may not like how heavy and weighty it feels to take this material up. Because all of the Gemini planets are also squaring Saturn and Neptune in the third, which is sort of like, you know, a kid, getting some new toys and getting all set up to play, you know, and they're outside. And then it's like, guess what, it's about to rain. Suddenly, you have to cope with the fact that all of your expectations and your excitement and eagerness are having to deal with energies and forces and conditions and circumstances that are out of your control. That Saturn Neptune suggests elements in your environment, mentally, emotionally, historically, or just like physically in the world around you, that are not in your control that you're going to have to square with this year and work through and keep working through. And yeah, it may not seem fair, and it may not be fun. But if you continue to work with and through these larger forces, they will have a refining effect. And if you persevere and stick with your exciting ideas, motivations, and intentions, you will get there. But it will. It is real. It's a real year of work and sacrifice. I also want to be able to stick with things that are fun and exciting, even though they may not be fun and exciting for some period of time, and see those ideas in actual manifestation. So that's what I'm seeing for Capricorns as a theme this month and going forward, while Jupiter is in Gemini.
Aquarius
All right, so for Aquarians, we move all of the Gemini energy into the fifth house, which is the place of creative fulfillment. It's a place of pregnancy and children. But also, it is a place that asks us that basic question. Yeah, but are you happy? Yeah. But do you feel like you're doing things that light you up inside and bring you joy? That is ever the concern of the fifth house, as it is in a trine to the first. It's one of the Dharma houses, and It's concerned with the realization of joy that's derived from the development of our character. That's like if you're growing personally, there should be a natural outpouring of creative energy in your life. And it should be stuff that makes you excited and feel creatively fulfilled.
Part of that might be actually having a kid, right? This is one of the major perennial human expressions of creativity and personal fulfillment to a child; not for everyone, of course, but so we have this emphasis on creativity blossoming in the lives of Aquarians. This year, this is intimately connected as Jupiter's in the fifth to the ongoing transformation of identity and literal psychological, physical wiring that Pluto in the first implies. So it's a year where you're having to change and transform at very deep levels personally, the personal crisis, death, rebirth, all implied by Pluto in the first house, a body character, and identity, it suggests a major period of initiation into a new phase of life. You're transforming very literally, but it's also so intimately connected now with Jupiter in the fifth to questions of creative fulfillment. What makes me feel happy is when ideas, thoughts, and creative pathways open me up and feel most in line with the new person I'm trying to become.
Now, as you go along, there are also a series of squares this month between Gemini and Pisces across the fifth and second; you may be dealing with what feels like limited resources or all sorts of obligations that you have to build and develop other things to pay the bills or to deal with you know, kind of karmic obligations that feel emotionally weighty and that are trying to sort of fit, they may act as like a check, or a temporary frustration with respect to the kinds of exciting creative themes that you're trying to develop so steady as she goes, because this month, you know, you're you are gradually paying off various karmic obligations. And you may feel like you don't quite have the resources you want to go where you want to go. Or you may feel like just as you're about to go where you want to go, there's a bill that's due karmically, or you have to try to go in the direction of new, exciting things with limited resources to support you. But you've got to keep working through this because, eventually, that feeling of being held in check will dissipate. And that will happen as Saturn finishes its work in Pisces over the course of next year. Excuse me all the while. And Jupiter in the fifth house keeps amplifying and turning up the volume on creative fulfillment and inspiration. So you just know that that season of feeling sort of limited or held back and your creative pursuits will dissipate, you have to stick with it and don't give up.
Pisces
Alright, so finally, we have Pisces. This places emphasis on the new moon Venus cazimi Jupiter's entrance into Gemini, all in your fourth house, place of home, family roots, ancestry, parental karma, and your living environment.
So all of this in the fourth house could speak quite literally to things like moving, starting your own family, getting married, moving in with someone, changing locations, and buying or selling property; it could speak to tremendous changes happening in your family of origin. It could also speak to things happening in the family of a partner, so the topic of home, family, and living environment is really greatly emphasized this month for Pisceans.
Now, with respect to Jupiter entering the second house, there is a year of expansion at the roots, but it is happening as Jupiter is contacting Pluto in the 12th, which means that this growth around home and family is probably coming as there are healing crises that are also entering and sort of quickening or developing the theme of transformation around home and family.
We see Pluto in the 12th trining Jupiter here, which is creating positive change in your own home, family living environment, ancestral karma, and all of that stuff. But it's doing so from the 12th house, which is a very unconscious space. There's a theme of positive healing transformation and crisis around the roots of home and family that will take place as the year unfolds, maybe especially here in June, and some of that will happen really rapidly.
Oh, ultimately, very positive and supportive with Pluto and Jupiter in a trine with one another. But it does kind of point to just deeper, weightier, heavier, more difficult things coming up around home and family that support the process of transformation that's is trying to establish itself in that house. That's Pluto in the 12th. Trying again. So, you know, it's a pretty brief window; I think if you were to experience any of the drama from Pluto in the 12th that we're talking about, it'd be the early part of June. This might actually just open a window of change and transformation around home and family. That's pretty amazing.
All right, so then we have all of these planets moving through squares to Saturn and Neptune in your first house. So when you're in a Saturn in the first house period, there is a way in which you are reaching the end of a version of yourself. And you're coming to terms with what can and can't work about who you are, your values, your character, psychological behaviors, and patterns of health in the body, and you're just reaching a turning point, a point of greater maturity and depth. That transformational process has about another year left. And now it's certainly a dialogue really intimately with this kind of expansive energy that's opening up around home and family. So, as home and family change, new possibilities enter the roots of your chart in the fourth house. They are in dialogue with Saturn and Neptune in the first, which asks questions like, Who have you been, and who can you be going forward?
Or what it's also about, like, knowing who you aren't, I am not this, I am not that, and I have to shed or let go of things that I can no longer identify with. And maybe that's happening also so you can feel an easier, lighter, more fun, and harmonic harmonious existence around the fourth house. It's sort of like saying this. I'm tired of going off to work and coming home, and when I get home, it feels like just as much work as the office because there's something about the environment I'm living in.
That is, it isn't a match. It isn't a mirror of who I am at the deepest level. And so how do I, how what do I need to do to change and heal and maybe let go of something or certain patterns, so that I can feel happier and more like, like liberated when I come home at the end of the day, the fourth house has so much to do, it's called the resting place. And it has a lot to do with the sense that we have a space in which we're just free of concern and obligation. It's like your bed or watching Netflix on the couch. There's just a sensor you can just detach. This was it was called house. It was called Milk Shep, which means liberation from the world. Well, there's a lot of exciting energy coming in around that house right now that, in a sense, can offer more freedom and flexibility and flow, and it's a healthy space to detach and feel safe.
However, there are all those Gemini planets that are squared up against Saturn and Neptune in your first, which is like, I can't let go, I can't let go, or It's not okay to let go. Or I can't let go because I have various obligations. But it can also be that those planets in the first can also represent reaching the end of that story and being like, No, I have to let go. And I need more space for fun and fluid fluidity and play. And there's something about me that's no longer working, or I'm taking things too seriously. Or I'm acting from a sense of guilt and obligation. And I have to let go of things in order to accept the kind of fun and the Freer energy that's trying to enter through the fourth house.
Anyway, I had trouble articulating that one a little bit. I apologize. So I hope that it was clear enough. And yeah, that takes us to the end of our horoscopes for the day.
I really did miss having Alex here; it is so hard, honestly, for me to go through all 12 and just keep going. It's so much easier for me to have a dialogue partner. It's the same thing for the monthly overview videos, which is why you'll see me with another co-host for the monthly overview videos.
I find that wherever there is the task of laying out a ton of astrology over a long period of time, or all 12 horoscopes are something that is having a dialogue partner and co-host is much, it's much better for me, I don't feel as depleted and exhausted and like I'm just spinning the hamster wheel of words, you know, endlessly. And so, I will be really excited to have Alex back next month and also introduce you guys to a new co-host for my monthly overview videos.
So the regular monthly content I'll keep doing on my own, but we'll have a co-host a new co-host to help me with the monthly overviews just like we do Alex on the horoscopes. Anyway, I hope you guys are having a good one, and we will see you again soon. Stick around after I sign off to learn more about the horary program starting in June. Bye
