Hi everyone, this is Acyuta-bhava from Nightlight Astrology and today we are going to take a look at the astrology of November. So this is November of 2021. And Gosh, can you believe we only have November and December left? And then we can start blaming 2021 for all of our problems. Yeah, but you know, it has been a gnarly year, in 10 years of doing professional astrology. I don't remember a year that was as crazy. So there's been years where I've been like, Oh, it's gonna be really wild. And maybe it is, but it never sort of. It never goes way beyond what I what I thought or imagined as a possibility. Like everything, everything up from 2010 to 2020, in my career, nothing has been like, oh, wow, yeah, that totally matches that's really interesting expression of the astrology and kind of in line with something I was anticipating. Not so for 2020. 2020 has been a huge curveball. I knew Saturn and Pluto was probably the most intense astrology that I would see in my professional astrology career to date. But I really wasn't prepared for what an intense year would be all around the world, with the environment, with politics, with the pandemic, with so many other things to the widespread array of conspiracy theories and questions about truth and the media, and so, wow. And personally, too, it was a huge year in a lot of ways. I don't share a lot of how the astrology impacts my own personal life. But during this year as Saturn and Pluto were that conjunction was exactly opposite to the Sun in my in my natal chart. Anyway, what a year, what a year. So we're coming down the homestretch of it. And I want to take a look at November today. But I wanted to pause and reflect on 2020. In general, since we're coming towards the end of it, I figured why not take a minute and just sort of open the wow eyelids about it.

All right. Well, here is here's the chart for the month, and we're going to go through the big transits of the month. Now, as always, I tell you guys, every month that I pick the transits that I think are most important, sometimes I miss one or I don't think one is as important, I may not include it. If there's one that you are thinking is going to be a big deal that for whatever reason I don't cover, feel free to write something about it in the comment section. I love hearing all of your interpretations about what's going to happen as well as your reflections and stories as the month goes on. So please feel free to interact in that way. Alright, so let's begin by taking a look at what is happening on the first. The first of the month of November is toned by the exact square between mercury and Saturn, Mercury retrograde in Libra and Saturn in Capricorn. Now, remember that Libra is a sign that generally is pretty favourable to Saturn, because it is the sign of the balance in the sign of Saturn's exaltation. However, Mercury is in the superior square overcoming Saturn. Where there is rigidity where there are obstacles or where there is entrenched or rigidify points of view, Mercury should be able to win things over or to present us with an alternative to something that we have feel that we have been stuck with.
3:37
Mercury should be able to offer diplomacy, tact, peace, harmony, agreement, and may be the bearer of some good news or may announce the finality of completion or completion of something that we've been working through for a while. But also to come up with a new perspective, a new perception, a new way of doing things that will lead to greater peace and harmony and may provide us with some key resolution or a sense of determination and being able to maturely handle something to stay sober, mature, serious and to find a peaceful compromising, you know, harmonious and that's what I think that this is about, and it may not get there right away, because Mercury has to station which it will do in turn direct on November 3, and then it has to go back through the square once more.
4:41
So you're going to see Mercury will station by the second turn direct on the third basically, and then it will go back through the square on the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, right like that about the seventh. So you could say that the square of last the first seven days of the month with mercury turning direct in the meantime. Mercury is backed up by a really good Venus right now and in the superior square to Saturn. So whatever obstacle or calcified position that Saturn might put up, Mercury in Venus's sign, exalting Saturn should be able to find a way of working around or working through overcoming some kind of hardship. And I would see that happening during the first seven days of the month. Though, the first three or four, don't be surprised if there is a little bit of feeling of needing some kind of obstacle or resistance, or the cosmic red light or some kind of blockage. But I think by the seventh or eighth of the month, should be able to overcome that and find the harmonious solution. So that's one of maybe one of the biggest transits of the month really.
4:39
That's like the first seven days of the month. If you go forward to the ninth, on this day, Venus is going to oppose Mars. And now we have this showdown that we've been waiting for, since the new moon in Libra happened back in October. And the Venus had to pick up some dignity towards the end of October by moving back into Libra and then Venus is now moving through this opposition with Mars. So you could think about it in terms of a battle of the sexes, men versus women. You can think about issues of feminism issues regarding misogyny or battle of the sexes can also translate into sexual or erotic tension. It doesn't have to be between, you know, men and women alone, it can be between any kind of lovers. So the the sexual tension that's in the air, it's a little bit like the tango when Mars and Venus oppose one another. And the main thing here is that Mars is retrograde, and so a little debilitated. Mars may not fight fair or Mars may be in need of some kind of adjustment of attitude, expectation, behaviour. Mars might get checked a little bit by Venus and I say this because once venus moves past this exact opposition, Venus will be moving into the side of the zodiac where Venus is now in the superior position relative to Mars. So this is a moment of Venusian overcoming at the beginning of the month, you got a Mercury and Venus assigned overcoming calcified Saturn, you've got a showdown between Venus and Mars, with Venus overcoming Mars. And Venus is in the stronger position by virtue of being in her own dignity and not being retrograde like Mars is. So, but watch for this real tension, which can especially manifest in relationships, in terms of difficulties or hostility, or trying to keep the peace trying to find compromise, but also needing to take stock of individual needs or demands or, you know, the will and the individual versus the need to make things peaceful, pleasant and mutually beneficial. Those two principles are really duking it out around the ninth of the month. I do think Venus has the upper hand here, so I would guess that harmony will prevail.
8:25
Now, when we go forward a little bit more to the 12th, this might actually be the biggest transit of the month. Jupiter will conjunct Pluto again. Now Jupiter's in its fall., and this is the last big hurrah for Jupiter while in Capricorn before it will move out by the winter solstice into Aquarius and conjoin Saturn in Aquarius, which we'll be doing a whole series on later. What does it mean though, that a planet is about to go through a major catharsis, a death and rebirth scenario with Pluto, it that things are about to be intensified, deepened and sort of exploded, all at once. And then Jupiter goes right out of Capricorn leaves its fall and picks up dignity into this pretty auspicious conjunction with Saturn. Well, whatever is about to happen is going to be a very powerful expression of the debility of Jupiter. For example, Jupiter is a planet of expansion, malignant things that grow and become powerful and toxic and take over or consume somehow. Okay, so those things can be really amped up, especially about the middle of this month, November 12, in particular.
8:41
You got a New Moon in Scorpio following this by the way on November 14. So here's Jupiter and Pluto just separating as we have a new moon in Scorpio, Mars' sign. Mars in the meantime is stationing in the middle of the month and turning direct. So you have this, the really very strong moment of catharsis and break through where a fight is reaching its end or its conclusion, a battle or an aura of hostility is reaching a moment of, you know, peak crisis and peak action. From this point forward, things will start to resolve themselves because Mars is turning direct, you're going to get a more constructive Mars coming through. Jupiter has gone through this massive, you know, catharsis with Pluto, but is now pushing through and forward motion and about to leave and lose its fallen status, it's going to pick up dignity. And again, right after this New Moon in Mars' sign, Mars is going to turn direct and become a more constructive, healthier version of itself. And then we're going to see the sun switch signs into Sagittarius later in the month, where eclipses start getting formed in Jupiter sign, and what's Jupiter about to do? Pick up dignity. So it's a turning point moment that that comes but it may involve some very big revelations or catharsis or transformation or, but I think it'll probably be in terms of sort of shedding away to releasing a burden. Even if it's painful to release that burden. It's probably something that will lead to a lot of insight and wisdom and the feeling of finally being able to turn the page.
11:52
So those are all mid month transits. That's not it though, because if you go just a little bit further into this, and this goes again to Venus and the benefics slowly starting to take on more power. We when you get into say November 15, and November 16, and November, all the way through the 15th to 19th. Overall, what's happening is Venus is in the overcoming superior square position to Pluto to Jupiter and Saturn and Venus is overcoming them. And remember the power of Capricorn is going to start to wane dramatically in the in the cosmic picture right now because both of these planets Jupiter and Saturn are about to enter Aquarius. So this picture, say between the 15th and the 19th of Venus going through all of these squares, Venus is demanding peace, harmony, love, sensitivity, balance, fairness, justice. And it's a karmic levelling moment. It's a karmic equalising moment. So, it could be cathartic, again, meaning intense, and not altogether easy. But Venus does triumph, it looks like the right or peaceful or wise solution comes. Now if we feel like we're on the short end of the stick, it's very important that we accept that as our karma. Because acceptance of these energies this month will yield really good fruit in time. If we accept what happens even if the catharsis isn't the one we hoped for or wanted. Or even if we're left in some ways having to start over something that didn't work out. You could say that whatever Venus is doing. If we accept this as the the karmic balancing moment that we needed, even if we don't understand why we needed it, it will bear fruit in time. And you can say that that is always true for eclipses, for example, that when eclipses come through eclipses give things and they take away things pretty dramatically. And I've always been of the mindset that you just when the eclipse seasons are about to come through that you just get into the practice of kind of opening your hands and saying yes, more please, thank you, no matter what if you can, you know, alright. Okay, so now remember on the 14th again in there, Mars turns direct. That's another important moment of the month.
14:20
Now finally, between the 16th and the 17th, Mercury gets back to where it was when it started its retrograde in Scorpio last month. It gets back into the opposition with Uranus and this is going to happen specifically between the 16th and the 17th of the month. There is that the the kind of erratic and spontaneous energy that you're going to see there, you get epiphanies, insights, revelations, also the tricky unexpected sudden shifts and changes of karma or fate that come up unexpected news. Unexpected actions and activities sometimes a little violent, erratic or disruptive. Unexpected is the nature of Uranus, right. But also almost this moment of being freed from something, being freed from something, sometimes we kick and scream, when the universe takes away something that it's really trying to help us with, you know, it's like, sometimes when things are taken away, they're being taken away, because we will do better in life if we're no longer bound to them. But oftentimes, because of our attachments, we have a hard time with that, right? Pretty obvious. If you went through a couple of those, the big unexpected revelations last month, it'll do So one more time this month, you got a kind of final integration of those themes. It can also involve things like cyber theft security, concerns about digital technological things. So watch for that around the 16th and the 17th.
15:56
Okay, now, I was talking about eclipses, watch what starts happening, you get to about the 21st into the 22nd. And you're going to see the Sun enters Sagittarius. Now this is a huge deal because we're going to now start focusing on our eclipses. You can see also again, here's Jupiter, the dispositor of the sun and by the sun, by the time the Sun is done working through Aquarius, Jupiter will leave its fall and go into or it'll leave Capricorn and go into Aquarius. So it's by the time the Sun is done with its sojourn through Sagittarius, which takes us up to the winter solstice, the Sun moves into Capricorn, right as Jupiter's leaves Capricorn and goes into Aquarius. So you're going through one last round, you could say of, you know what I want to say reaping the karma of a fallen Jupiter. But it's improving by the end of it greatly. There's this big corner that we turn at the very end of the year here. And the eclipse that comes through is pretty monumental.
17:12
So on the 30th, we're going to get a lunar eclipse, in the sign of Gemini. Obviously, we've got the nodes in Sagittarius in Gemini. And you can see, at that same time now we're just, you know, about three weeks out from Jupiter changing signs. So a really big moment. And that's going to be followed by a solar eclipse in Sagittarius in December, which again, then focuses big time on that turning point for Jupiter. So the lunar eclipse in Gemini, look at the Gemini house in your chart. We'll be doing Eclipse videos on this later. So I'm not going as in depth right now. But look at the Gemini house in your chart and think lunar eclipse a door closing something reaching completion or finality or resolution, something finally sort of loose ends being tied up and there being a sense of Okay, we're done with that now. And that can be for better or worse, it depends on the context of each birth chart.
18:18
At the same time, toward the very end of November, you can also see there's going to be a pretty big moment between Venus and Uranus. Venus will oppose Uranus in Taurus and this happens right about the 27th. You can see at that time that you could watch for themes related to Venus, which would always involve relationships, love, marriage, friendships, sometimes sisters or women in general. And the goddess in a general sense, and then Uranus, this god of liberation, change, sudden disruptions. So to break from or dramatically shift or change your relationship to someone or for there to be sudden unexpected events or, you know, dramatic changes happening in relationships, very possible that there's a little spike of those qualities or themes toward the very end of November. Sometimes Venus opposite Uranus also results in wanting to dramatically alter our style, our aesthetic, our approach, or to free ourselves from something that we find confining and we may become a little eccentric or rebellious in the process of doing that. So that's also toning the end of the month pretty quick transit, but you will you will notice it toward the very end of November.
19:43
December is a huge month just so that you have some awareness of what's going to happen in December. Of course Mars is going to get back into it with Pluto. We're going to see Jupiter and Saturn move into Aquarius and can join on the winter solstice and we have another Eclipse. 2020 is going out with this major shift of energy. And I think it's for the better because you know, you can't underestimate what impact it has when your great benefit Jupiter is in a in a sign of its fall for a whole year, which is what we've been dealing with. So I think things are really looking up this month. I like the transits of this month to look for some pretty cathartic events. But Venus, again, as I've talked about, in some other recent videos, really has kind of the upper hand, a lot of resolution and harmonious endings and turning points to things with some, some last what sometimes I've kind of jokingly referred to them as like end level bosses. It's like you're getting to the very end or completion of something that you've been dealing with for a while, there's one big last thing that you have to get through. And I think that that might be part of what we see for November. But by the end, the eclipses coming through, you know, starting to herald some some pretty big changes Venus overcoming all those planets in Capricorn. So I think that this is, this is going to be the story of two months within one month, like the first half and the second half, more or less. But the prevailing feeling that I've had ever since the beginning of this year, when I looked at all these months was that right around this time when we would see our end level boss and then kind of Mission complete on to the next thing, positive momentum shift.
21:32
