Today I'll be taking another look at Venus' upcoming retrograde in the sign of Capricorn, and go through what you can expect for each rising sign.
Transcript:
Hi everyone. This is Acyuta-bhava from nightlight astrology. Happy Monday, everybody. I hope you're doing well. Today we are going to continue taking a look at Venus is retrograde in Capricorn conjoined with Pluto, we're going to take it through the houses today. And I thought it would be fun to do a live stream as a way of doing that. So here we are. What we'll do is we will review the review the retrograde and its dates with the Real Time clock here in a minute. And then what we'll do is, we're going to take it through the 12 whole sign houses based on your rising sign today give you a sense of what to expect. And later this week, I'm still hoping to have Rafeal ray from radiant reality taro on maybe to do a little bit more on this transit but pairing it with Saturn and Uranus, which is really a combination that we also need to address this week. So we'll be doing that for sure. In the meantime, I want to remind everybody that there are just 12 days left to go in my annual Kickstarter, and we crossed the 800 backer mark over the weekend. But that means we're still a little over 500 backers away from hitting our goal this year. If you enjoy this channel, and you appreciate the content, you tune in regularly for the daily astrology content Monday through Fridays year round. And I hope you will consider supporting the Kickstarter and pitching in to donate. I'm going to put it up on the screen so that you can find it. And we are coming down to the last 12 days. So we need the biggest push yet, in these last 12 days to see if we can meet our goal for the year which is 1367 backers, I think we're at 812. Today, we usually make a lot of good progress here in the last week to two weeks. So hopefully everyone can pitch in and support. If you would like to support the Kickstarter, I'm going to put the links into the live chat. But it will also be in the description of this video. And it will also be in the comments section once once the video live stream is over. So there's the link to the Kickstarter, when you pledge, you can pick up a lot of different rewards, we have a bunch of different reward readings. There's the astrology of 2022 lecture, which is a deep dive into the major transits of the year. And that comes with a calendar for the year that we've made too, which is pretty cool. There's also a year ahead horoscope reading for your son or rising sign that you can pick up and then easily the best reward that I offer is you can take one of my classes in the year ahead for a donation level that is about half the cost of the programme. So if you're thinking hey, I want to study with a tutor sometime in 2022 in my ancient astrology for the modern mystic programme that starts in June, as well as November and so you have two different time slots you could jump in in 2022 You could also save it and use it for any year you want beyond 2022 You can also bundle my programmes together so you could take year one and year two, year one year two and my horary programme or even bundle all four of my programmes. together. And when you do so as you go up, you save more and more as you bundle more of the courses together. That's my best deal. Don't miss it between now and New Year's Eve, you have to take advantage of that. For all of my students currently enrolled in programmes, great way to save on your two. So at any rate, I really appreciate your support. Remember that when you support the Kickstarter, you're not only supporting me, my family, my work, but you're supporting a staff of about 10 people, two of whom are working for me all the time, specifically to make sure that things get done so that this channel works. My channel is about half of my day. So the Kickstarter is something that is a part of how I support all of the projects that I do year round, a lot of seva that we do in our community and, and so if you're able to donate, it goes a long way to helping this channel grow, and the astrology programmes that I teach to grow and things like that, you help a lot of people who can't afford tuition, to be able to take classes at an affordable rate because the Kickstarter does well. So if you're able to really appreciate your support, and let's see if we can get to 1367 backers by New Year's Eve, that would be fantastic.
So I want to turn our attention to the real time clock where Venus is retrograde and happy almost winter solstice to everybody you're going to see that Venus is at about 26 degrees of Capricorn and through its retrograde will conjoined with Pluto very shortly. So by the really by the end of this week, Venus is going to go back through the conjunction with Pluto by Friday into Saturday. And then Venus is retrograde will separate out a little bit by the Tuesday the 28th. So between now and the end of the year, we have still Venus within one degree of Pluto but now retrograde. So I spent some time at the end of last week talking about the general significations of Retrogrades and Venus retrograde in particular, this Venus retrograde is very powerful because Venus is configured with Pluto. As Saturn and Uranus are also returning into a square with one another here you can see the two in the square with each other. Hopefully as the week goes on, we'll be able to address this. And like I said, I'd like to have Raph from Radiant Rey come back on, we're seeing what his schedule allows. So, in the meantime, what I want to do today is I really want to spend some time taking Venus retrograde through the houses by whole sign and we're going to try something fun. I've got my tarot deck, we're going to pull a card for each of the whole signs around the wheel to add a little something to the interpretation that I'm going to provide by Venus's house location in your birth chart. Now this is according to whole sign houses and based on your rising sign. So that's the one that you're going to want to follow as your rising sign for this.
I'm going to put the chart up on the screen. And we're going to start with Aries rising and let's see what's going on for everybody with this Venus retrograde where is it landing in your birth chart based on your rising sign.
Aries
So first thing I'm going to do is advance this chart so that we have Aries on the ascendant. And if you have Aries on the ascendant, then this Venus retrograde is taking place in your 10th house. That 10th house was called praxis, which literally means action. It also has the meaning of what you practice or what you literally do every day. Now with the idea of being that this is a house that has its location at the top of the heavens, the midheaven. And so what do you do every day out in the world? What do you do after you wake up, and before the sun goes down? Most people go out into the world and do something, I go up into my office above my garage. So I come up here and and I do my I do my astrology thing, you know, and I start with some prayer and blah, blah, blah. So what do you do if you're an Aries rising? The idea here is that there could be a pretty significant transformation of circumstance happening with regard to your work routine, or your work environment, relationships in the workplace. And you wonder what is Venus asking of you right now, if you're an Aries rising, I'm going to draw a card for you as an Aries rising and let's just see a free associate with the card and and see what comes up. I love the way that the reason that I love working with cards is first of all, there's astrology as a form of divination, just as Tarot is. And second, I like the way that the cards can open up certain dimensions of symbolism, not the only ones, but they can give like suggestions or hints. So alright, here we go. Yeah, I love this card for for Venus retrograde in the 10th. If you're an Aries rising, it's a strong card. I picked up the devil card for the Aries rising folks that have Capricorn in the 10th. Now you can see the devil is actually a goat looking figure. And the people have the little horns as well. And this card often speaks to me about addictions, or it will often speak about unhealthy forms of dependency, what are who we rely on or who relies on us that we're bound to, I think a lot of bondage psychologically or spiritually with that card. So if you're an Aries rising, I would also look very closely right now at who or what you feel bound or obligated to, especially around the workplace. And maybe there is some kind of change that needs to be made, so that you don't feel like something about your workplace is toxic, or something about the way you're doing things is toxic, or that you're bound, you know, chained is like kind of an intense word, but you're bound or chained to someone or something that's unhealthy. Maybe part of this is about the release from that kind of bondage to be psychological. Or maybe it's physical. On some level, maybe there's some way where you just feel like you're a slave at work. So I would look at those themes in the workplace. For all of my Aries rising people out there, we're gonna keep going and we're going to go to Taurus rising.
Taurus
If you're a Taurus rising, this takes place, Venus retrograde in the ninth house, which was called God or the joy of the sun, and it was a house associated with religion and the light of the higher mind. So when I think about a Venus retrograde in this house, I think about something changing or shifting for us, because I'm a Taurus rising on the level of our spiritual philosophical or spiritual convictions that we have guiding beliefs and principles, and some kind of process of transformation that's happening there. There could be a way in which we're being asked to take moral inventory, or to look also at the relationship between our spirituality and our sexuality, not I mean, there could be some way in which that's happening, you know, within the context of a relationship. But I also think about guiding beliefs around relationships, marriage, sexuality, the use of sexual energy, in general, what is the best way to deal with sexual energy as almost all spiritual traditions around the planet have told us, You have to be very careful with how you manage and deal with that energy, because it does have the power to cloud our minds, to cloud our hearts. And so how we deal with that desire body in relationship to our spirituality, and our guiding beliefs in life, maybe there's something like that up for review, right now, let's draw a card and see what else we can come up with here. This is interesting. So the card that I drew for Taurus rising is the king of pentacles, which is pretty, it's feels very appropriate for Pluto in the ninth house, the authority. And this actually makes me think a little bit about the ninth house in relation to the law. For example, the ninth house was also considered to be the place of the courts and the legal system in general, with Venus going through a retrograde with Pluto in the ninth house, I do have to wonder about some kind of legal process. That would be kind of a worst case and very specific scenario, I'm sure not a lot of people are going to go through some being sued or something like that. But the other thing that I think you could consider here with Venus, retrograde and the king of pentacles, showing up in that ninth house, would be anyone who's in a position of higher authority, religiously, or spiritually. And maybe people who have some insight about rules or traditions, that comes to mind, king of pentacles seems like a Capricornian figure to me. And I wonder about looking at people who have a certain level of responsibility. You think especially about lawmakers, teachers, politicians, gurus, and sages, and maybe some kind of exploration of authority in relation to well, for example, one thing that comes to my mind with Venus and Pluto and the king of pentacles, in that house would be like the investigations that have happened in I know the Catholic Church, for example, with the clergy and the abuse of children. Right, that's kind of a heavy, dark Venus Pluto like topic in the ninth house, not that each of us personally would be going through something like that. But that there's some overlap between authority, knowledge, power, and, and relationships with such people and how our relationships with authority are shaped in those places of learning and religion. That strikes me as really important. The other thing that comes to mind, I'll just say one last thing here is that, I think with Venus and Pluto in the ninth house, you also have to consider that differing points of view, may come to the table and you may be forced to deal with them in relationships in a way that you know, is not always easy.
Let me give you an example as a Taurus rising, I went to a basketball game last week as Venus was stationed. And I went with my best friend, and my best friend was wearing you know, was wearing a mask at the game and a guy who was pretty drunk turned to him and was like, why are you wearing a mask you Fauci following idiot and they started getting into it with each other had this huge debate and I was like, not going to get into a debate with the drunk guy have fun buddy my I love my buddy, but like, have fun. So that was but it was very Venus retrograde Pluto and I was like, Well, you know, should I say something and like, participate in this and get into it with my friend and this drunk guy over this heavy philosophical issue at a game you know, or what should I do? And then my friend was like, afterwards, it didn't last very long. But my friend was like, I should have done what you did and just sat and shut my mouth. That's like, Well, I'm a monk, I can't help it. Sometimes when the tensions rise, sometimes I just get real silent. But at any rate, it's very eye opening thing to have happened. And I just kept thinking about Venus retrograde in the ninth house. Alright, sorry, I didn't mean to labour that one too long. But let's go forward to Gemini rising.
Gemini
Your Gemini rising. This Venus retrograde is coming through in the eighth house. And the eighth house is a place of debts. A place of obligations that we have to other people, to give other people what we have, because our karma demands it or that other people will have to give us something because their karma demands that they give us something. It's a place also filled with anxiety, and filled with fear about the future in particular, it's also a place associated with death. Taxation and penalties are a part of the eighth house. But as our as his inheritance and the blessings that come from other people's esteem, other people's esteem meaning other people say hey, I like you, I'm going to give you something. So it's very interesting house, we're going to pull a card for Gemini rising. Appropriate card to come up. Let's take a look. So if you're a Gemini rising, the card I've drawn for you is the Wheel of Fortune. And one of the things I love about the Wheel of Fortune has some zodiacal symbolism in it, you can see the fix the emblems of the fixed signs, Leo Taurus, Aquarius and Scorpio around the edges, you get a little bit of like a phoenix character for Scorpio. And the idea that I love about this card is that there are cycles of time, just like we study in astrology, the cycles of time ebbs and flows of karma and fortune. Sometimes your stock is rising, and sometimes it's falling. But when the wheel of fortune card comes up, I always think to myself, well, whatever's happening, this is the end of a cycle, or this is completing a cycle of karma somehow, you know, the the word for karma in the West in ancient astrology was fortune. So you're thinking about the turning tides of fortune. And they turn quite dramatically. When you have an eighth house Venus retrograde with Pluto, what to speak of, you know, that wheel of fortune card, which is echoing the exact same idea, there's some strong twists and turns of fortune, oftentimes, you're going to find an eighth house, that means I owe somebody some money. Or maybe it means that, hey, wow, I'm the benefactor or beneficiary of something. But I would look at exchanges between people and how they are. You know, there's a there's maybe a rising tide happening right now in relationship to other people and what they give you or what they take away from you, how you are dependent upon them or how they are dependent upon you. And, you know, this has some history behind it, I would say given the retrograde but also given that wheel of fortune card, it's really, one thing about that card is it tells me there's something about historical cycles at work here.
Cancer
So, let's go forward to cancer rising we're taking Venus retrograde replacing into the seventh house, which is one of the sort of most quintessential transits Venus retrograde in the seventh that you'll get for significations of marriage, changes in marriage, divorces, breakups, but sometimes healing something going back to something from the past. For example, my wife is a cancer rising. And we have practised co sleeping with our kids. I don't know if you guys know what that is or not, but it's a sleeping technique where you sleep together with your kids and then gradually kind of wean them off into sleeping on their own. So my wife just announced - she's not tracking these transits either. And I was sitting here being like, oh, man, she's got it in her seventh what you know, what could happen? You know, as astrologers we can get really uptight, like nervous and uptight about our own transits. She just announced, we're done. We're gonna we're gonna finish up one of my daughters is finished with cosleeping sleeping on her own. So she's like, we're done. And we're just going to we're going to go back to having our married battle to ourselves. This is the first time in six years, right that that's happened because we chose this co sleeping path which has been really awesome. Like, it's been great for the kids. A lot of love a lot of warmth. Now we get our married bed back and she made that decision, I tell her about the transits or whatever, we really don't focus on them a lot day to day. And that is very Venus retrograde conjoining with Pluto, this intense transformation, she's gonna have to go through as you know, it's quite a process to move a child from cosleeping into sleeping on their own. So she's taking that on here as Venus is retrograde. And, you know, just decided we're going to have our married bed back to ourselves. It's like, you know, can't say I was like, no, please don't. I was like, All right. So when you get this Venus retrograde in the seventh, though, major changes around marriage, love, relationships, sexuality, things from the past that you're healing are looking into. And there's that subterranean depth and power to this with Pluto there. I'm going to shuffle the cards a little bit here. And let's see what we've got for Venus rising in the seven or Venus retrograde in the seventh if you're a cancer rising.
It's a funny card. All right. So it's the 10 of wands, I see the 10 of Wands and I think about completing a process. I've the hard march to the finish, you've gone all the way through all of the cards of the suit, there are 10 cards pursued, and you're working through a long process. And it's not it's like completion, but like maybe there's some exhaustion involved as well. This card couldn't be more perfect, for example, for you know, the kind of exhausting process that my wife is going to go through in on route to getting our, our married bed back without kids in it. So it's like 10 of wands territory. But one of the reasons that I love this outside of my own little anecdote there is that the seventh house was the place where planets is the place where planets set, they disappear. For that reason, it was called the place of resolution and completion. So Venus retrograding, in addition, in the seventh house to it being associated with marriage and sexuality. And it's associated with that, by the way, because when planets dive below the horizon and disappear into the earth, that image of a planet going into the earth, and disappearing was associated with a man going into a woman in sexual union. And so that's why the house comes associated with the consummation of marriage, and also with sexuality. But it has a lot of other meanings. The seventh house was a nocturnal space that had to do with your social life, for example, in the evening hours, on a certain level, it also has something to do with completing things, finishing things. So think about a process of completion, a resolution may not be entirely easy with Pluto there. So let's go forward to Leo rising.
Leo
If you're a Leo rising, then we're taking this and we're putting it into the sixth house. The sixth house was a place of work and toil, strife, it was associated with slaving away and you know, hard work and, and bruised bones and bloody, you know, bloody arms and like just working out in the field and like, so it has this meaning of like hard work and labour, but also the things that it literally was a house that was associated with slavery. It also is associated with military service, or anything that you might give your life to, or fight for, as well as a place of hostility and conflict in general. There's also a place of sickness, disease and accidents. It was called The Joy of Mars and the house of misfortune. So if you are a Leo, the one thing that I would say about Venus retrograde with Pluto is the idea this is a genetic Venus. So I would look at the resolution of conflicts or the revisiting of certain kinds of wounds, sicknesses or conflict, getting to the root of a physical health problem getting to the root of a conflict in the workplace, a conflict with a friend or lover and having to work through it somehow with the potential for healing and transformation. There because Venus after all, does bring good things but with Pluto, sometimes in the six sometimes it's kind of like a you know, there's going to be a breakdown before there's a breakthrough with the sixth house. The card that I've drawn for you if you are a Leo rising and have this transit in your sixth is the Eight of Pentacles. Here you can see the Eight of Pentacles a man who is man or woman, whatever working at a, you know, pounding these Pentacles out, quite a few are done. That's always what's said about this card, like he's already got quite a few done. Well, that doesn't mean that he's all the way done. But it does mean that he's accumulating experience power expertise. I love this also as a card for that sixth house, that saying, Keep at it, stick to the work, keep chipping away, you might start to see some good results for hard work with this card. And one of the great things about a genetic in the sixth house is you often see reward rewards for hard work that's been done, or that something good can come out of all the intensive labour. I think of the sixth house, I think of you know, people in on New Year's Day, you know, resolving to go to the gym, or I think of the potential for people to put in a lot of sacrifice hard work, blood, sweat, and tears to get something accomplished. Well, with the Venus retrograde, maybe there's some receiving of benefits for that hard work. Or there's also a period of revising work that's been done or shifting and approach somehow, with the eye for getting a different kind of result, maybe a different kind of result than you have been getting, maybe it's a time to review and go like, am I getting enough out of something that I've been pouring myself into and maybe feeling exhausted by maybe it's also time for a little bit of a break, maybe there's a need to like just relax a little bit after slaving away at something. So those are some things that come to my mind if you if you are a Leo rising.
Virgo
If you're a Virgo rising, we're taking this and we're putting it into your fifth house. The fifth house was called The Joy of Venus and the house of pleasure and good fortune, place associated with joy, romance, creativity, the arts, recreation and entertainment as well as pregnancy, and children. So first of all, I would not be surprised if there were some significant changes happening in the lives of your children, if you have them and you're a Virgo rising. Those changes could involve puberty, they could involve your kids starting to explore their sexuality. They could involve things with your kids and their values in comparison or in contrast with your own values. It could also speak to you know, relationships with your kids deepening it could speak to getting pregnant, it could speak to you know your life changing significantly because you're having to consider whether or not you want to have a child. So lots of things around children pregnancy could come up. Also, anything involving a creative process, if you are a creative type, this is a time for reflecting deeply on a creative process. If you're in the if you're someone who writes music, or writes books or something like that, you're a Virgo rising, I would see this as a pretty valuable time for creative reflection. Reflecting on your aesthetic, you know what, what is my style or what is my approach to something creative. Could also be a time where there are love affairs, sometimes elicit with Pluto are secretive. And also I would be cautious about the desire body in general, the card I flipped for you is the world. And the World card also, to me speaks of the potential for the completion of a process talking a little bit about that with the wheel of fortune card. But with the world I think of something coming full circle and a sense of having integrated a lot of different things. For example, with Venus retrograde in the fifth house, I think of someone becoming sober from a an addiction of some kind, especially with Pluto there. And the idea being that this time it sticks. You've tried to get sober several times before you've tried to shift an unhealthy habit or pattern. Probably a pattern that's supposed to be about pleasure. And you're realising you know, it hasn't worked. And now for whatever reason, the potential of Venus retrograde Pluto to change some kind of pattern in your life relative to pleasure or creativity or sex. All of those things can be associated with the fifth house, but it's going to last because the world card here would suggest some whole process that is completing itself I think of when I think of the World card I sometimes think about a plant in the garden of your life. And every karmic plant growing has a lifespan. And you think about either harvesting that plant and pulling it up so it's not going to be there anymore, you receive its blessings, or its teachings, no matter how easy or difficult they may be, and then it's done. Or think about, you know, pulling it out and you know, throwing it into the trash and or burning it up or something. So, it's interesting some kind of cycle of of karma around joy, pleasure, kids, children creativity, coming full circle.
Libra
Alright, let's go forward to Libra rising, if you are a Libra rising, this Venus retrograde takes place in your fourth house, the place of home, family, children, parents, anything domestic can be associated with the fourth house. Anything involving your family life, broadly speaking, your living environment, the people you live with the people you have to relate to, at home or in family, your ancestral history, your roots, things hidden things, unseen, especially around love, sex, marriage, and relationships. Because the fourth house is also a place that was associated with things buried hidden or unseen. And so maybe there's a little bit of that going on with within the context of relationships, Venus, or home and family, fourth house, let's see what card we get for you. If you are a Libra rising. Well, that's interesting. So if you're a Libra rising, the card I pulled for you is the four of cups. This is interesting card, it shows a guy who looks sort of complacent, like he's ignoring a blessing that's coming, trying to hand a cup to him from the clouds, staring at his three cups on the ground. This to me would suggest that there's something very close to you a blessing of some kind, a gift, a resource, a person, an idea that's really close at hand. And if you're not careful, you could miss it. And I think about that fourth house. And I think about, you know, someone who miss it, like, for example, at this time of year, Charles Dickens Christmas, Carol, Scrooge is missing out on the fact that he has a nephew who really wants to spend Christmas with him. And it'd be a joyful, happy occasion. And he can't see it two feet in front of him he can't see the joy that's like right there. So I wonder about looking at home family love relationships, and and looking at maybe there's problems in some of those areas. Maybe there's some challenges, but there's got to be a blessing there too. And you might be missing it, you might be too complacent to see it. Or a solution to a problem may present itself in a way that you're not expecting in the next couple of weeks. Especially around that home and family sphere of life.
Scorpio
Alright, let's go to Scorpio rising this takes and puts Venus is retrograde in the third house, which is called dea, goddess, Joy Of The Moon has a lot to do with our daily environment. Anyway, so third house, third house, a lot to do with the mind and the environment and the interpenetrating relationship between the mind and your inner states, your moods, and things happening around you every day in the environment, the environmental constants. Anything that also exists in or around your home. That is a part of the daily round, the daily routines and rhythms. So also a place associated with siblings. Ooh, interesting. I really like this card. So this one that I pulled for the third house if you I'm sorry, hold on. I think that I stopped sharing my screen if you're a Scorpio rising, right, yeah, okay. I thought I didn't stop sharing my screen but I think I'm good. Here is the High Priestess. So Venus retrograde in the third house called goddess. To me this would suggest that especially because you know as Scorpio rising, you're going to have oftentimes a pretty finely tuned intuition, right? You're gonna It's a water sign rising, pretty finely tuned emotional intuition. But with Venus Pluto in the third eye, like either the appearance of a teacher, or like a woman coming into your life, like maybe the High Priestess is someone entering your life or a subject that you're going to start studying. On the other hand, I like this as an indication that there's a different kind of problem solving ability available to you a different way of processing information intellectually, mentally, that is available to you. And I think to myself, when I see the High Priestess associated with Venus, Pluto in the third that especially in an earth sign, that there's your most grounded, practical, intelligent way of doing things is going to tap into your emotional sense of things without becoming paranoid or without becoming, without letting fear or worry, or any kind of obsessiveness, or possessiveness. Take over the High Priestess is really smart, really eloquent knows just what to do is masterful with mind, mood, emotions, intuitions. And so I think that that's probably there's a call there for you if you're a Scorpio rising this month, to be masterful with your mind and your moods, and how you problem solve how you communicate how you deal with the things in the environment that you're sensing, excuse me. So how do you deal with things in the environment that you're sensing or in the context of your relationships, even if you send something from a partner? How do you face or address it? Using that high priestess energy this month, in your relationships, or in how you communicate with other people, is probably going to be really helpful. And that seems right in line with Venus and Pluto retrograding through the third house, a different way of thinking or processing emotions, and communicating in relationships overall. So let's go to Sagittarius rising.
Sagittarius
So if you are a Sagittarius rising, then Venus is retrograding with Pluto in your second house, that's a place that is associated with income and expenditures, resources, to a certain extent business dealings, anyone that you have to hire to help you with something you can't do for yourself, or anything you're trying to cultivate as a skill or an ability, maybe something that could be profitable. So Venus retrograde in this house, if you're a Sagittarius can mean that there are significant changes happening around money in business this month, or the cultivation of new resources in your life. Or maybe even working with someone new, whether it's a therapist or someone you're hiring to do something. I think about those kinds of things with the second. Yeah, this is a great card for you Sagittarius out there. It's the three of wands. So the three of wands card shows a fellow standing on the edge of a cliff with a couple of Wands gathered, looking out at the horizon. I think of this card, I think about what are my prospects? What should I do? The horizon is open i It's like the early part of a journey, you know, I've gathered some resources, and I'm ready to go. I'm ready to see what's out there. But it's about changing your outlook. You could say right now with Venus retrograde in your second house, or changing your approach or saying okay, look, I've got some capital, or I have some resources and skills, how am I going to use them? Where am I going to go next? What am I going to do? And I think about this in terms of either skill development or acquisition, putting your skills into putting them to use through a new business idea or something like that. But it's about a certain amount of resources and a regathering or revisioning of your approach to using them or cultivating them as far as I can tell with that card.
Capricorn
Alright, we'll move forward to Capricorn rising, your cap rising this is happening in your first house place of health, body identity, appearance, psychology, so it doesn't get more personal than this. Venus retrograde in the first house I've seen many times throughout my career when someone changes their wardrobe changes their diet changes their physical appearance and Somewhere, decides that they don't want to be in relationships, they want to be more independent, decides that I'm too independent I need to be in a relationship, it can kind of go either way. Because Venus is a relator. But when it's in the first house of self identity is changing in regard to how we do relationships. So sometimes, you know, it's like one way or the other, I need more independence, or, you know, I've been alone for a while, and I'm tired of it. So you see, those extremes tend to pop up. So for my cap rising, oh, this is a good card. So if you're a Capricorn rising, the card that I drew for you is the knight of pentacles. So with the knight of pentacles, I often think also about a person entering your life with the court cards, I've heard that said and seen it play out so many times, draw a court card, and it's like, oh, there's a person that's going to enter your life, Venus retrograde in the first house, could this person be someone that you're going to work with? Could this person be someone that provides you with the financial or professional opportunity? Getting on the horse with the knight of pentacles also makes me think about working out, or getting to the gym, or taking charge or control of something material, whether that's your body? Or if it the knight of pentacles, to me says reputation, body professional life. And I'm taking charge of those things, and making some kind of fundamental change their knight of pentacles wants to be taken seriously, how can I be taken more seriously? What can I add to my name, or can I add a title or a certification of some kind, but the focus on identity resources and mobilising them, and then again, maybe the idea of someone entering your life that has an opportunity of some kind, something like that.
Aquarius
So but Aquarius on the ascendant, we're almost through Venus is retrograding in your 12th house, which is called malice, diamond, the evil spirit, the joy of Saturn, place of isolation, a place of solitude, dark night of the soul, that happens in that 12th house, it was called the liminal space by ancient astrologers. And it also can refer to anything or any one that undermines us or takes us out of our centre leads us astray. It's a house of shipwrecks and ruin, a place of prisons and a place that where we feel lost, and we don't know where we're going, or we feel unseen or unseen, significant, well, all who wander are not lost. That's one of my favourite phrases from the Lord of the Rings, and the 12th houses like that, too. Sometimes there is a purposeful period of wandering and wandering, a purposeful period of exploring shadows of people or relationships that are not healthy for us. And of potentially looking at the ways in which we undermine ourselves or other people around us undermine us, especially with Venus retrograde in that house, interesting card that I pulled for you, if you're an Aquarius, rising, the card is the six of wands. Now this is a card of victory and celebration and acknowledgement and honour and things like that. But the shadow of this card is also going to be potential arrogance or riding on a high horse and that kind of thing. And so, I would be a couple of things positive and negative about this card. One is I would be careful about excessive or early celebrations of something, because something could change dramatically. Something that you feel is your going your way, if you get cocky about it could tip the scales somehow this month in a way that undermines you. I would also be careful about jealousy. This card to me in this position speaks to potentially being jealous of other people's accomplishments, or other people being jealous of your own. I would also look at this as a way of finding victory over your own demons and shadows. This card says you know what you can rise above some of the things or people or or influences that hold you back. It's a month to be victorious. It's a month to celebrate some victories over some of your own worst habits or patterns. And I also think about looking for people in your life who can help you to be strong without without being any without lacking any virtue or integrity. Alright, so those are some things that come to my mind for you if you're an Aquarius rising, last but not least is Pisces.
Pisces
So if you're a Pisces rising, this is coming through your 11th house. And in that 11th house, we have the joy of Jupiter. It's called the House of good spirit, the joy of Jupiter, the place of friends and benefactors, allies, colleagues, associates, groups of people that you share common goals or aspirations with, it's a house that was associated with wishes and hopes for the future. And with all of the resources of powerful or well connected people, what's called the place of acquisition. And when you have Venus retrograde in that house, first of all, I think about significant changes within your social circles, your friends, within groups that you belong to, and so forth. That's kind of the low hanging fruit. Think about new allies or people entering your life that have something beneficial to offer you, or perhaps people who have been helping you that suddenly step back or that you no longer want to receive help from changes within groups that you belong to drama, unfortunately, within groups or your social life in general. But I also think about the potential for a new beginning, or a healing effect of some kind. And maybe some, you know, you got a lot of planets stacked up in the 11th house with Jupiter about to enter your first house. I also think maybe this reshuffling that's happening in the 11th bring someone or something good into your life, that's super beneficial. Make sense that the card would be the ace of cups Jupiter about to enter your first house as a Pisces, and this Venus retrograde happening in the 11th. You think about something sacred, something special, something beneficial, entering your life, which with a theme of almost like rebirth, renewal, baptism, healing, almost a little bit of a feeling of miraculousness with that card. So I wonder about how people in your life changing groups in your life changing and a general theme of regeneration, rebirth, and cleansing or healing that's coming through that probably really empowers you by the time all is said and done, because you're the one sign that has to gets to look forward to Jupiter popping into their first house and bringing on potentially all the upliftment that Jupiter brings.
