Ok, let's take a look at the real-time clock and get a feel for this transit. So you're seeing this transit coming through on the 26th into the 27th. Here you can see on the 26th that Venus is in the very late degree of Aquarius. Here we go. Late degree of Aquarius. And if we move it forward one day, you're gonna see Venus enter Pisces. So it's really sort of depending on the time zone; it's between the 26th and 27th that this transit takes place. And then how long does it last? Well, let's fast forward this a few weeks. And you're going to notice we're talking about late January through about the 26th, 27th through about February 20.
So that's a good chunk of time where we have Venus in her exultation. Now. What does an exultation mean? And exultation is a place where a planet is thought to be lifted on high. It's like, you know, if you think, if you think about like, in your house, you know, what, what kind of energy do you exalt. For example, in my, in the basement of my house, we have like a kind of like a room that we use for working out. And that room is covered in, you know, all my Minnesota Vikings stuff. So that room exalts the Minnesota Vikings, exalts my addiction to football and that team.
So you can think about a sign that has an exalted planet as one that, in addition to the planet that rules the sign, for example, in Pisces, that would be Jupiter, that there is also going to be a planet that is lifted on high and sort of revered to the point where sometimes the planet becomes almost exaggerated by the reverence that it receives.
So, for example, Venus in Pisces, some of the qualities associated with Venus in Pisces before we get into the horoscopes would be, and if you didn't watch the video to start the week, I recommend you check that out. I did a rewind video of a whole discussion on Venus in Pisces that could give you a deeper look. But romance, imagination, love, sensuality, beauty, and the kind of romance that has behind it the full force of emotional conviction. So in that sense, it's like a little bit of a Shakespearean Venus; it has this sense of Jupiter behind it. This is also the domicile of Jupiter, the feminine domicile of Jupiter.
So if you've ever talked to someone who's very intensely passionate about art and has a sense of, you know, faith and belief tied into their values as an artist, this is a very Venus in Pisces kind of thing. So if you ever talk to someone who has that kind of intense romantic can Vixen, that's, that's a good like, that's a good Piscean quality in general, but often It's a Venus in Pisces quality in particular.
This is like to compare, if you think about a violin playing like that really, really high note, where it just takes all of the emotions up to their peak in like a piece of like a, like a composition, like a piece of music. And that super high note that just it's so taut, filled with emotion and intensity, and it can't hold forever; it has to break.
So expectations are like that they take the planet in question and sort of blow it up to its highest sort of fever pitch. And it becomes almost exaggerated at times, which means that sometimes the let down from a planet in its exultation coming out of its exultation, for example, or even while it's in its exultation, you can go through these highs and lows, these peaks and valleys that are related to the kind of intensity or amplification of the archetype to this sort of like, oh, the gig gets like that, and it could be Saturn's exultation of the sun's exultation. It'll take that archetype and sort of amplify it to this dream very dramatic extreme.
Which is why for example, some traditional astrologers said that an exalted planet, especially if it was in an angle in the birth chart, could represent someone who has qualities that are puffed up or even proud or like, like, exaggerated somehow. Anyway, so, but Venus in Pisces, generally speaking, we're now talking about the goddess of good fortune of pleasure and pleasant experiences of sensuality and joy and romance. And we're talking about her in one of her happiest signs, a place where, you know, ruled by Jupiter, where there's a sense of abundance, and an overflowing feeling of romantic joy and happiness, and it's kind of dreamy, as well.
So, with all of that in mind, what we're going to do today like I said earlier, is we're going to look at where this may land in your chart, depending on your rising sign. And then you could listen to these again as sun sign horoscopes if you wanted to. And just pick the sign that you typically listen to for a sun sign horoscope. But given that your rising sign will correlate with the whole sign house version of your birth chart, I recommend listening to your rising. And we're just going to go through and give you some keywords to help you focus on as a way of prepping yourself for Venus's entrance into Pisces, which happens at the end of this week.
ARIES
So let's start off with Aries. If you are an Aries sun or rising sign, then Venus is in your 12th house. Now, in this position, the 12th house is often thought of as a blind spot; Venus could show up very much as the kind of romantic extreme that is, actually, maybe undermines you in some way. For example, drinking too much or getting caught up in some kind of romantic tryst, some kind of love affair. This could be the romantic compulsion that is acting in the shadows or comes up from the unconscious. And that could mean that although it's lovely, it has a kind of destructive face to it.
It could also be about heartache and heartbreak or learning lessons and healing around love and relationships. It could be about the things that are hidden from your view within friendships or relationships. So it's, it's like this exalted Venus is working in an area that is often about what is unconscious or what is in the blind spot are what we don't quite see or understand. So keep that in mind.
TAURUS
All right, we're gonna move ahead to Taurus. If you're a Taurus, then this place is Venus into her exultation in the house of friends. So you're thinking now about the quality of friends and or social life and social circles in general. And the feeling of camaraderie, sharing something in common, or just having a good time with friends. So I like this, this transit because it really sort of, in terms of, you know, your social life and having fun and making positive connections or even receiving good fortune from allies or other people, or even famous people like somehow taking notice of you.
You know, that would be a very exalted Venus in the 11th house kind of transit. The beauty and blessings of Venus are traveling through a place of groups and friends. So watch for that in terms of who and what you are sharing the beauty of Venus with in the weeks ahead.
GEMINI
All right, well, if you're a Gemini, then Gemini sun rising, we're looking at this horoscope, now placing Venus into the 10th house, which means that Venus is bringing her exalted qualities into the area of career that could be about relationships in the workplace, could be something creative that you're getting involved with. It could be that the qualities of love are very public. Um, how, for example, you're going out on a date, or you're, you know, a little what's the phrase PDAs (public displays of affection), you know, kind of flirting more publicly or, you know, making out with your significant other in the movie theater, you know. Or, just again, the good fortune that could be entering the vicinity of your career right now, watch for a kind of romantic intoxication around work and career.
CANCER
So let's go forward. If you're a Cancer, this is now entering the ninth house, the place of religion, spirituality, beliefs, and our philosophical convictions. So with Venus entering, I wonder what kind of role art, beauty, sensuality, sexuality, women, the goddess are playing in the development of your faith right now. So, you know, it could be a season where Venus is really making the case about how she needs to be included in the system of your beliefs and convictions. It could be that she comes in and brings you into a class with other women studying something that's very feminine or an art class or, you know, something Venusian coming in that you might be learning or studying about. It could be that Venus in Pisces represents a place that you're traveling to for a romantic getaway or something like that since the ninth house is also connected to things like travel and like foreign countries.
LEO
All right, if you are a Leo rising, we're taking Venus and putting it into the eighth house. Now, this is a complicated one because the eighth house is about what bonds us to other people, but also what obligates us to other people or other people to us, and exalted Venus, there could mean that there are really nice forms of blessings, gifts or blessings coming in through, you know, significant others or loved ones or people in your life who may have something really amazing to share with you.
It could also be about the temptation. Wow, look at what someone else has that could be mine. But what kinds of compromises are involved? Sometimes the eighth house is one of those houses of the devil's bargain. And so I would be careful about what shines and shimmers and grabs your attention and looks like something that could benefit you but may involve you in relationships with people that, in the end, will not be good. That would be one shadow to watch for here.
But on the other hand, Venus in the eighth house can just mean that there is a form of abundance, blessing, and interconnectedness that is really showering you with good things right now. And so I wouldn't look, you know, as I sometimes say, I wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth; you take what's given and know that sometimes good things come, and it's okay to just accept them. Now, if you're a Virgo rising, this energy is entering the quintessential Venus in the seventh house, love sex marriage, the house that Indian astrologers called kama, as in the Kama Sutra, pleasure, joy, sometimes lust, right? What do we desire that we can or can't have, that we should or shouldn't have? Questions like that may come up, especially with Neptune co-present in the seventh house. But this is also about just allowing ourselves to be taken away into a deeper emotional, sensual, romantic, and imaginative space with other people.
VIRGO
If you're a Virgo rising, an earth sign rising, ruled by Mercury, that's not always easy. You know, I would so I would say, allow yourself to be sort of swept out to sea with Venus a little bit more, whether that's through friendships or lovers, just opening yourself up to where Venus wants to take you, and it will probably be somewhere that's a little bit outside of your personal bubble.
LIBRA
All right, let's go ahead to Libra. So for Libra, Venus is in the sixth house. And this has the feeling of sacrificial work and labor. It's about mending things that are broken, helping where help is needed, and pouring your love and attention and tenderness and care. This is where if you have an imagination, and you're an artist, or you're a caring, empathetic type, you may find that you are incredibly useful to someone else this month. But you may also find, or in the weeks ahead, I should say, but you may also find that you are being asked to do more than you can, and so setting boundaries is important. And looking at where you know, kind of how much you can give without feeling exhausted. That's going to be important, especially since as a Libra. This is your ascendant ruler in the sixth house.
It's also about lovesickness. It's about burning with things, burning with things, or four things that you love. The concept of martyrdom really belongs to the sixth house. Venus in the sixth house is like being lovesick for a cause. Pouring your passion into a project and receiving good fortune from sort of selfless service sacrifice and hard work. So there are blessings that Come through a little bit of burning this month.
It's also a good time to heal something that's broken or fix or mend something that needs patching up. And that could be your own health. And so it's a time to just get right this month and take it. And I say this month, I really just mean the weeks ahead.
SCORPIO
Okay, Scorpio, this place is Venus into your fifth house, the place of pleasure, love, creativity, romance, joy, children, and pregnancy. It's an interesting one because it fertile water sign like this. Pregnancy is definitely one theme that could come up, as well as the joy of children or the joy related to creativity and children. But also, Venus in the fifth is just one of the most creative transits that you'll see a Venus because this house is, was called The Joy of Venus. Venus is incredibly happy, exalted in the fifth house; this is a good time to be dancing, writing music, you know, having those more romantic connections, and letting yourself go; who cares or who knows what will come of it, I don't think the fifth house needs to be like the seventh house where concerns about commitment. And what the bond means or where it will go are as important. The fifth house is a little bit more like follow your bliss. And so I wonder if this month for Scorpios, the message isn't about letting yourself enjoy what the heart wants to enjoy; follow that creative impulse.
SAGITTARIUS
So with Sagittarius, we have Venus in the fourth house. And Venus in the fourth house is now in the house of home and family. And so one of the nice things about this is that Venus in the fourth will often Venus in the fourth house will often bring blessings and benefits and sort of like Venusian enrichment into the home. So, for example, if you're, you know, you do a staycation with someone you love, you get that new couch that makes your living room feel so much more cozy and comfortable. Or let's say that you, you know, you decide to move in with someone or you, you know, it's a long weekend that you decide to travel out of town and stay with a long-distance lover. Venus in the fourth house brings romance, joy, and beauty. In other words, into the space of home.
It's also about the joy and benefits and blessings that come through family and family members through real estate and property, land, and connection with nature. And so I like this as a kind of nature natural Goddess energy that's also there, it's a really good time to go inward or to, you know, take some time like hiking out in nature. Venus in this space has a kind of nocturnal natural world, feeling like she'll be really happy if you take time to find her in the places that are most organic. That's a fourth house theme with Venus in Pisces. Of course, it's also about sacred mysteries about women and the like the mysteries and the deeper and more intimate spaces that have to do with femininity. It's a very sexual transit in the sense that you could see there just being a theme about needing to go very deep in love and romance. So and I would also look about just themes around love and romance within the larger family. For example, a sibling getting married or, you know, just abundant, happy good news coming in through the topic of family in general. All right, well, that's Sagittarius.
CAPRICORN
Let's go along to Capricorn, I should say, which places Neptune in Pisces in the third house. Now for me, this means that especially you know, as a Cap rising, the mind is generally more serious; you have a more saturnine disposition. That's the ruler of your ascendant. Well, you have, in the next couple of months, Saturn entering Pisces, and before it, Venus is entering Pisces, which to me suggests that there's almost like a theme of romance and melancholy that is going to be much so much more important for you like like you're about to move into a chapter in life for a couple of years where melancholy and romance and darker imaginative moody but also sensual themes are going to occupy your mind and need to find and root themselves in your environment and be tended to because if you tend to those things, they're going to help you grow. They're going to help you accomplish some things that you need to accomplish. Or just take care of your mind in a way that is very healing and soothing.
The third house, Pisces energy, compared to having Saturn in your first and second houses, moves from more practical spaces concerned with, you know, identity and Responsibility and Work and business and money. And now it's moving into a space where it's almost like an interlude that's inviting you to Think bigger and go into vaster and subtler spaces, romantic and imaginative spaces. And Venus is sort of leading the way for Saturn to be doing that and shifting what occupies your mind and how you're thinking. It's like you're ready to think in a way that is more intuitive and imaginative. And it'll be a real blessing, especially if you know you're someone who has had the burden of having to deal with very serious heavy personal, professional, or financial things over the past four or five years.
AQUARIUS
Alright, so let's go forward to Aquarius. If you're an Aquarius, rising, then you have Venus in your second house, which is wonderful for the topic of money and finances. It's a real, it's like, one of the significations that you could almost picture would be like a garden that suddenly everything's blossoming, you know, all the wildflowers that are coming up. In Minnesota, during the summers you drive, there are all along the sides of the road so many herbs and wildflower flowers that are blossoming. And this is kind of like that, where you have a very fertile Venus, the goddess of good fortune, in the house of resources. And so things that you have been developing, you may see blossoming skills you've been developing, you may see fruiting in some way, and also just good for money and business and things growing and offering their blessings to you. It's a great transit for business. If you're an entrepreneur, it's a great transit. Well, one thing that it can do is it can give you, you know, the impulse to purchase things that are extravagant. So you want to be a little bit careful about that. But otherwise, a great transit for things growing and flourishing around assets and resources.
PISCES
All right, well, finally, we'll take Venus in Pisces into the first house. If you're a Pisces rising, then you have Venus in the first, a wonderful placement for Venus in terms of feeling attractive and magnetic, and charming. Maybe just the feeling of being beautiful or being happy, or just feeling a little bit more ease or bounce in your staff are feeling a greater well-being or the desire to look your best and take care of yourself a little bit better. It can translate into just buying things in your wardrobe, like, oh, I just want to feel extravagant. So I'm going to buy a new dress or whatever the case might be Venus in the first house could be that trip to the spa to, you know, get your facial or whatever, take it, take a trip to the float, the float spa, they have one of these down the road for me, I did it for my birthday, you just lay there and float in saltwater. It's amazing. You know, deeply relaxing, so self-care, feeling the grace of Venus filling your body in your mind. And also just being magnetic and attracting things to you in the first house. This is wonderful for that.
Now, you know, Venus in the first house could be a little bit vain or extravagant, or it could have you, you know, sort of following the, you know, kind of following that Venusian impulse, you know, in a way that's problematic. You want to be a little bit careful of that. But mostly, I would just say enjoy because Venus in the first house as a Pisces is one of the great transits of your year where one of your rulers, Jupiter being the other one, is coming back home, and usually that means that there's often comes with a sense of completion, Venus in the first house can also feel like you're ready to launch something to start something. And just the support that you feel like you need on multiple different levels is a good indication for Venus exalted in your first house.
So that is just a brief tour of Venus through the houses to give you guys some keywords and themes and topics to start opening yourself to remember this transit comes through at the end of the week. So we've been prepping these first couple of days of the week sort of Venus visiting Venus and Pisces on an archetypal level and now horoscopic level. We will come back on Thursday and Friday with more good stuff and Tao Te Ching tomorrow. So I look forward to seeing more of you guys later in the week. And we'll talk to you again soon. Bye, everyone.
