And with all that being said, Whitney, how has your experience of March been? Oh,
Whitney Kranz
girl, that is a loaded question, isn't it? It is, it is
Whitney Kranz
well with a with an eclipse in Virgo, my second house, eighth house, axis has just been blowing up, and so I have really been swimming in March in this sort of nebulousness that is eighth house Pisces land right now, I am working through, as some of you know, how to restructure my income, but with A lot of existing commitments to other people I am trying to figure out what what it all means and how to move forward, and what I will say. The gold here is that this time has really helped me focus on what I want my life to look like, and not necessarily on what other people's projections of what my life should look like. And so that is some good growth there, right? But I think we can all say, having just lived through eclipse season, that it's not easy. These lessons don't come easy, right? What? What about you? My friend, yeah,
Alexandra Blair
it sounds like so much of what you're going through is related to that eighth house, the way Adam talks about it, is the house of karmic entanglements. So the things that you owe others, and the things that others owe you, and the ways that you're indebted to people, and the things that we inherit. And it's been pretty interesting. I wrote in my notes thinking about March. You know, I wrote these notes like a week ago, and I wrote, We are recording this a little early, which we usually do not do, so I'm hesitant to comment on March's end, and it's been only a few days since that, and I'm like, Thank God I hesitated to comment, because the things that have unfolded that I could not have, that that nothing, no Omen, no stellar Omen, could portend what has unfolded in my life the past week, and we haven't even hit the Aries Eclipse. You know, my partner has an Aries stellium. I have a stellium in Leo, and I'm already seeing that lit up by Trine, which is a little mind boggling, because usually in transits, we only really talk about the hard aspects, conjunction, square, opposition, that Trine is active right now in early Leo, for me, it is activated, and it is in comical ways that I'm just can't believe are unfolding
Whitney Kranz
down to the spotlight, my friend, that's that's what that means
Alexandra Blair
in just comical ways. Yeah, it's been pretty comical. But I I think March overall, even though quite humbling and surprising, has been pretty good. I launched a YouTube channel, so I'm excited to talk about that.
Whitney Kranz
Okay, everybody, this is a quick plug. Please go follow, follow Alexandra. It is my Now, part of my weekly ritual. What like, three weeks in Monday morning, grab that cup of coffee. Monday morning coffee. Let's do it. Yeah. Oh, it's so juicy. So if you like this kind of content, you'll like Alexandra's content too.
Alexandra Blair
Yeah, it's it's pretty it's been a mixed bag for me, and it sounds like it has been a mixed bag for you as well. And we're not even through that little portal yet on the other side. So I guess everybody will have to go check out Instagram for our daily play by plays
Whitney Kranz
exactly. Oh my gosh, you know, okay. Can I just, I want to move us on to our grabbed stories in a second here. But um, I you were talking about the eighth house as the house of. Karmic entanglements. I know one of the ways Adam describes it as well is as a blood bank, right? It's the give take of other people. And I know this talk is not about the eighth house, but you know what has come up for me so much over the last few weeks, when this house has been so highlighted in my life. Cloud Storage, your cloud storage is full. Your cloud storage like on Zoom, on Google, on anything that I use Cloud Storage for, I've gotten these warnings, and I think it's just such a funny and appropriate Yeah, metaphor for the eighth house, right? Especially in this
Alexandra Blair
and just Pisces. Yeah, gaseous, vaporous, intangible, Misty Pisces. I also think it's really comical the amount of like, foot injuries for Pisces people in my life, or people with Pisces fergo axis, it's
Whitney Kranz
crazy. Well, I told so, I told Alexandra about this offline, but I actually had, I got grabbed this month as well, when the sun in Pisces, you know, Pisces ruled the feet like we just said, Pisces squared my own Mars 16 degrees Sagittarius and I tripped on a patch of ice walking down the sidewalk. I kind of rolled my ankle, but the injury stat in my foot, not my ankle, and now for weeks, like my foot is sore. Thankfully, it didn't swell up. I didn't even go to the doctor. But, you know, you wake up and you're like,
Alexandra Blair
oh, no, something's wrong. Yeah, so, yeah, I have a friend who also injured. She has planets in Pisces and broke a toe, and, yeah, and it's, it's, it's just reminding me of how disruptive a total lunar eclipse that's visible in your region can be. You know, we think about an eclipse, and how can we see if it's going to be significant for you? And because we can't be thinking that catastrophe is coming every, twice a year, you know what I mean for a month, every, every year, you really got to look at is, is what's happening in your natal is it aspecting your natal planets? Where are your nodes? What's going on in those places for you, especially the hard aspects, and is it visible in your region? But this was a total lunar eclipse that was visible throughout all of North and South America particularly. So I think people have been coming to me going, why is my digestion so weird this week? Why am I having bad sleep this week? Why does everything seem off this week? And it's because the moon's light the moon, which rules the stuff happening here on Earth. She orbits the Earth. So when that is disrupted, just the most basic parts of our life that we assume are in good working order can become quite disrupted in a way that is noticeable but hard to pin down. You mentioned when we were talking offline the moon card, and that's the card, I think of every time the moon tarot card, it's like, what is happening here? Is this a shadow? Is this a monster? Is it a crawfish? Or am I looking at a monster? And everything is kind of hard to see when the when the moon's light is disrupted.
Whitney Kranz
Uh huh. I certainly, I certainly feel that, yes, and and it really goes to the sort of liminality of it all, to sometimes you can't quite nail it down. But then I think it's interesting when we look to veins of like medical astrology and associations Pisces and the foot Virgo and the digestion. And it just, it really becomes clear how we are grabbed by the planets because I talked to a client with the same same Virgo rising eclipse in her first house, going through massive digestion issues, GERD, that kind of thing. So it's it's just wild. But speaking of grabbed should we get on to our audiences stories? Huh? Yes, definitely. Let's Okay. Let's do it. So I have two stories here for us from the Virgo Eclipse, and one with Venus in Aries, specifically retrograding. So this first one about the Virgo Eclipse is a Virgo rising who is experiencing their nodal return at the same time, and they say, Oh, this is very, very appropriate. I forgot this one was first health is definitely. A big topic for me right now. In February, I started having indigestion and GERD symptoms for the first time ever, but the symptoms are ongoing, and it has sent me on a quest of Western and alternative healing methods. Stress is absolutely the cause of all of this, there is a lot going on the on in the world that is very difficult to digest. I had my first acupuncture and Chinese medicine appointment this week. I am incorporating massage therapy, and I even reached out to a quantum healing hypnosis technique practitioner I'm also seeing a GI specialist, but I'm most interested in the alternative healing modalities. It's also made me have to cut down on some of life's little pleasures, like wine and coffee.
Alexandra Blair
My gosh, that's awful. That's like one of those things that is it feels small, or we treat it as culturally small, but it can be so disruptive that it changes your entire life. Well, right?
Whitney Kranz
And so doesn't it point to one of the core of Virgo that is all about care and routine and practicality, right? And so simply caring for ourselves in the right way can help. I thought that one was interesting. Yeah, let's go on to the next one. So this story is actually about this person's child, my six year old is a cancer rising and has Virgo in her third house just prior to the clip to the Eclipse, she had a palatal expander put in the roof of her mouth to correct a crossbite. I know, right. She will have to wear this for about six months. Interesting that that's a cycle of lunation, right, and it cannot be removed until the treatment is complete. She has a very strong throat chakra. Always has something to say and processes her day as a six year old, remember, through talking out loud, this expander has put a huge roadblock on her expression. She is struggling to talk and to eat. She has an excess buildup of saliva while she adjusts to the device
or baby overall,
Whitney Kranz
right, feeling extremely self conscious. So this eclipse has been particularly emotional as these challenges catch up to her. This has quite literally impacted her communication and is forcing her to be constantly in adjustment of how she uses her ability to communicate and when she is comfortable doing so
Speaker 1
how hurt goes out to that little girl. She'll get through it, but that's pretty rough, right? And
Whitney Kranz
it's similar to the last one we we spoke about is, like it's an adjustment period, right? There's a daily ritual that needs to be adjusted too, yeah,
Alexandra Blair
and the norms that we take for granted, like the amount of saliva our mouth is producing, are just disrupted at this time, right?
Whitney Kranz
No, I, and I feel for her too. I went through Invisalign, which is not nearly as invasive, and even the adjustment to that, right? You've got these trays in your mouth. You can't like eat or drink without removing them, and it's all like eating at specific times and only different hours. These are things we take for granted in our daily life, right? So well we will end on a little higher note. I love this one, and this pertains to Venus in Aries. So I've wanted wavy or curly hair. My entire life, I've always styled it that way. Always loved volume. Have even considered getting a perm many times well as Venus Retrogrades through my 12th house. I have discovered, in fact, that my hair is naturally wavy. I just haven't been caring for it properly. I can't stop laughing about how 12th house Venus in Aries is that my bold dream hair was literally hidden from me, and I've suddenly become aware of it. I feel so much more like myself. I'll be spending the retrograde period, rethinking my hair care routine and re learning how to maintain it. I just wanted to share a very light hearted manifestation of this transit and I'm taking this as a metaphor for some other 12 house things I'm working through, reflecting on qualities I value and admire in all. Others, but have trouble seeing in myself.
Oh, that's so sweet. That's a really sweet one, and I'm
Whitney Kranz
kind of jealous.
Alexandra Blair
Yeah, people finding out that their hair is wavy and that they've just been caring for it wrong, that's a big thing these days.
Whitney Kranz
Oh, wild. So that wraps up our grabbed portion. Should we talk about what is happening this April in the sky?
Alexandra Blair
Let's do it. Let's do it. So we really kick off the month with a watery stage set in Pisces. Is how we're thinking of this opening month period. So we segment the months via the Gregorian calendar, obviously, but keep in mind, this is happening, and as you're watching this, you know we're just a couple days away from the eclipse in Aries, that final eclipse in Aries that happened on March 29 and it's coming on the heels of March, which really has been a fact finding mission. So some information has unfolded in your life, and maybe is still unfolding, because those Eclipse windows, you know, maybe a decision is made on the 29th that you hear about it, and it comes down to you on five days later, on April, 4 or third Moon and Mars are embodying and integrating what we've learned from the lunar eclipse in Virgo and the solar eclipse in Mars ruled Aries. So this stage is set with a series of trines. Actually, we have Venus, Mercury and Saturn all together in Pisces, trining Mars, moving through cancer. Some of those are tighter than others. Some by degree mercury, you know, it's going to take a few days to go perfect, but essentially the beginning of the month is this Trine, and we have the moon there as well in cancer, adding something special to the mix, some dignity for Mars. But I don't think dignity should be confused for a softening in this case of what's happening. I think actually what's happening with Venus and Saturn is kind of softening the sharpness of what's happening with the Moon and Mars. I think one other thing I want you to highlight Whitney is the sextile that's happening to Uranus I was waiting Yep. So something fun to think about is that the moon is moody and moves in cycles. And I was thinking of the archetype of the sweet and syrupy sort of woman who can snap and just has this like little outburst that's quite sharp, and you're like, oh, and you everybody stops to listen when that happens. Like, I was thinking of the diva version of this, which is like, Kristen Chenoweth or Liza Minnelli. And actually, literally, both of them have moon Mars in Cancer, which is so funny. Yeah, they do. I see it. Yeah, right. You're thinking of like, oh, everything's this way. And then all of a sudden they snap, and they snap, and they lash out, and everybody stops, and life as usual, sort of like everything comes to a halt, and you react, and then it moves forward. Or even in in Cabaret, you know, Liza Minnelli has that iconic scene where she's screaming when the train goes by, because it's the only time she gets to scream, and it's covered by a louder noise. It's so funny. I know, with this sextile to Uranus, it, it feels a little like that, that like little scream moment that's not necessarily malefic or negative. There's something really positive about that expression of emotion that's happening with Venus's activation there. I think, yeah,
Whitney Kranz
it's like, productive, right? Sometimes you just have to get it out. And I think that this is what's happening with the moon. Like you have so beautifully already put that the moon is here embodying this action, right like the Trine is all about how we have learned these lessons, and now it's time for embodied action, because think about where we are. This chart right here looks a lot like where we were last month in March, but now things have totally changed. We've learned something through this eclipse season, right? It's like, I love that you bring two great stage actors to March. Mind, because this is like act two of a play, yeah, right. It's the same stage that we have set, but now the characters have evolved, and so I am just like you are seeing a kind of doubling down on the emotion, the moodiness, the passion, right with Uranus here in this sextile, you know, there could almost be a sense of, don't want to lead with overwhelm, but almost like what happens when you turn up the dial and the fuse goes out, right? It's a there could be a sense of power and moving forward, but at the same time, we're learning how to deal with wielding that power at the same time. And you know, we have. What's interesting too is that if we took the clock forward just two days, this is where Mercury turns direct right, and Mercury is going to then move right into Aries. And so we're learning, we're learning how to move forward with all the knowledge we've gained. And you know what image comes to me with this? I don't know who out there grew up on Harry Potter like I did, but I'm thinking of Hermione with her time turner that she uses to go attend every single class that is offered in the whole school, but she doesn't have time for because they're all scheduled together. But she's so hungry for knowledge, and she's so hungry to use this knowledge, right? That she uses this magical little device called a time turner to go back in time and attend and this is like there's, this is where maybe that power outage sort of plays in, right? Because as much as we want to do everything all at once. That's not sustainable. So how do we chunk it off in little bites to work with what we've got here?
Alexandra Blair
Oh, that's so beautiful. I totally feel that sense of overwhelm and the maturity piece that you mentioned, which I think is very active here, and part of that we really got into when we recorded our Saturn Neptune Venus talk. So definitely go check that out, because that's a cycle that develops over the next year with Saturn and Venus and Neptune. But this feels like a situation where Venus is softening. What's happening here with social graces, she is exalted in Pisces pretty strong here, and it's hard to say when something is behind the scenes making a situation nicer, doing the mental load of making something more socially acceptable, minding the etiquette, you know, making sure that everything is just so it's hard to see that, because we just see what happens. We don't see, oh, it could have been worse. But there is something that she's doing here to soften and something interesting about this moment where we have this stage set with these Water Trine situations going on is that the sun and Jupiter are directly sextile in one another as well. So they're kind of an aversion, in a way, to what's happening with this water. So that sextile gives me a sense that there is an alternative path, and it's one of getting curious and gaining momentum in your curiosity. And if the beginning of this month feels overwhelming, maybe there's some momentum and inertia that can be jarred into motion by an intellectual and a curious approach.
Whitney Kranz
Oh, I love that. I love that it gets me so excited to work through, work through this time, right? And put our intellect to work, and I think that that's coming too as we move forward into the next phase of the month and the Full Moon in Libra, because Libra is an Air sign. So are we ready? Yeah. Let's do it. Move on. Okay, tell me, because I'm going to switch the chart. If you can now see the Full Moon in Libra chart on That's right, yep, that's beautiful. Okay, good. So I'll draw it out for you again. We have got the sun in Aries while the moon is in Libra, my degrees are just too off this, this particular Full Moon in Libra is at 23 degrees. And isn't that beautiful? I'm still, I'm still excited that I've learned how to work with the epic pen. I mean, I'm
Alexandra Blair
impressed I can't, I literally can't do it. So,
Whitney Kranz
oh, so, so satisfying. So let's talk about this Full Moon in Libra, because at the same time of our full moon here, you can also see see this little s here, Venus is stationing direct now with Venus, the ruler of Libra, stationing direct at the moment of this full moon. It feels like a trigger point, doesn't? It like she's remembered something and she is ready to move forward. And so Venus will be here in Pisces basically all month long, until the 30th. But this is a Venus who, in her exaltation in pisces, is really ready to dig in for what you were mentioning earlier, about harmony. And this is a Libra moon, right? So it's it's about balance. Now, Libra is a cardinal Air sign, so we can think of Libra as initiating intelligent, intellectual, and where is the beginning of our month with the moon of being so much about embodiment, this gives us a moment to rationalize, RIGHT? IT Libra is an Air sign, after all, and so we're, we're, we're working with both embodiment and rationalization at the same time. Now, the time of the year of Libra is at the autumn equinox of that's a time of equal day and night, which is similar to its polarity Aries, we just went through the spring equinox, right? And so this tells us that Libra is focused on a sense of balance equality justice, perhaps social justice, right? And so when we think about how we grow through Libra, we're thinking about how we can use our judgment and evaluation objectively, we're thinking about patience, refinement, sophistication, maybe like a Healthy detachment from emotional turbulence. And we're thinking about social harmony here. And so as we're talking about sort of this balance and harmony, I want to talk about the Egyptian goddess Maya now, more than 1000 years before the Hellenistic period, astrology was considered the highest form of divination in ancient Egypt. Okay, and it is said that the ancient Egyptian goddess mayot, it's spelled M, A, A, T, was the goddess of truth, justice, balance, cosmic order. All sounds familiar, right? And mayot used the scales of Libra to weigh each soul of the dead she would weigh the soul of the dead before. Passing into the next life against a feather, and souls that would tip the balance of the scale would become reincarnated to continue to further burn off their karma on Earth, right, while the lightest souls would then enter the afterlife. And I think this is such a beautiful illustration of what Libra is, and the journey into darkness that we see at the time of the year Libra comes at least in the northern hemisphere, right? So I'm thinking a lot at this time about that sort of healthy judgment of what it takes for us to move forward, and I want to talk a little bit more, but I also just, like, went on a whole tangent, so I want to hear what you think, and then we love your can come back.
Alexandra Blair
It doesn't really qualify as a tangent. If we're like, we're all here to hear you talk, okay, okay, okay, then it qualifies as you just speaking with authority that we are granting you. But I hear what you're saying. I'm thinking as you're saying that of the fact that Venus for this lunation is conjoining Saturn, who is the exaltation ruler of Libra as well. So as we're thinking about judgment after death and maturity, and the value of our deeds and the weight of things Saturn feels so present in that story or telling, and quite present in what's happening here with the full moon.
Whitney Kranz
Well, right? Saturn is conjunct our stationing Venus.
Alexandra Blair
Yes, and you know, this is a little off what you were talking about. So maybe if you have other things you want to talk about, about Mayotte, let's do that. But I have some thoughts about Venus's social graces, because I think that there are, culturally we talk a lot about, and there are a lot of words and properties of media and thought and interests that relate to solar expressions of authority and solar expressions of the indomitable ruler, or what it means when a King says you have to do this. And there's another type of influence that can be had. And it's it's got me thinking a little bit about like court intrigue more than anything else, and sort of the power of the a more Venusian expression of influence behind the scenes. What's happening in Pisces is in aversion to what's happening with this full moon, and yet it controls what's happening with this full moon. And the same is true for the New Moon in Taurus at the end of the month. And this is just so clear in the fact that Venus is retrograde until 11 minutes after this full moon. 11 minutes after this full moon, she stations Direct. And that's such a tight leash. It's like what's happening here is exactly what Venus is allowing to happen here in Pisces, we can't see her. She's in some back room making some handshake deal, like greasing the wheels of the social systems, and in her sign of exaltation, she's totally in her element, and probably looks fabulous, but we're not necessarily seeing what's happening there.
Whitney Kranz
I love that image, and I mean Venus. This month, throughout the spring, Venus is working really, really hard for us, and that's exactly the picture you just painted. Is So exactly spot on. I mean, even the fact that, like you mentioned, Venus rules both lunations this month, because after our Full Moon in Libra, we have a New Moon in Taurus. And so it is all it is Venus, Venus, Venus, right?
Alexandra Blair
Yeah, this is a good time for some thankless no favors asked. Just give a little, send a little offering to Venus. Pick a wildflower, put it on put it somewhere special in your house, you know, like, put a little honey in a bowl, and just be like, thanks for all the behind the scenes, mental load work that you're doing for us this spring. Venus, thank you. I know that it could be worse, and it's not for you,
Whitney Kranz
right? And, and, yes, that that, that honey in a bowl, right? It's and how does that honey in a bowl represent our the. Success that we're creating, the sort of renown for ourselves that we are building. How are we honoring ourselves? How are we honoring Venus? I am. I'm now with with this talk. I'm now thinking about another key piece of this particular full moon that I want to bring up is that at 23 degrees Libra, that is smack dab on the fixed star Spica. And so Spica is one of the brightest stars in the sky and tropically. And the tropical zodiac is located here at 23 degrees Libra, but sidereally So when you look up in the sky, Spica is part of the ear of corn of the Virgo constellation. And so not only are we thinking about what we're growing here, right, the growth of an ear of corn, but Spica is has so much to do with evolution, right? And because there are these qualities associated with Spica that earlier in life, a native with a prominent Spica placement, either conjoined to Natal planets or angles, may experience some injustice in life, and there's that justice piece again, right? Yeah, but there's an evolution that takes place in a life with a strong spike of placement and that sort of early on sense of injustice or unfairness, later, turns to riches fame. It's that Venusian, like we were talking about renowned success, riches honors, right? And there's like a so there's a sweetness here. It's that sweet honey. It's the love of of sociability and a love of both art and science. I think what's really interesting about Spica, and then we don't cover fixed stars a whole lot on this channel. So I'll get off my I'll get off my fixed star, my fixed star platform here, but Ptolemy said that Spica is actually of both the nature of Venus and Mars, and I think that's really interesting, considering how both Venus and Mars are playing Such a huge role in the astrology of this month, and that is where I'm tying in. There is passion as well as a sense of duality, right? And you can love both art and science, right? So I just wanted to point that out, that with Spica here in the mix, we should be feeling a sense of the situation involving and hopefully for the sweeter, for that sweet honey. Yes,
Alexandra Blair
absolutely. What a great tie in and thinking about some of the themes that you mentioned. I feel like it's a really good lead in to what happens next in the month, because we have Mars Pluto Sun dynamic that's happening that's sort of mediated as well by Venus. So it's pretty there's a pretty Venus in April, I'll tell you what. But this transit, the Mars Pluto Sun transit, fire rules is a book end to a three transit cycle. So you know, the sun only moves in one direction, and the sun's going straight. But with Pluto and Mars, we had Pluto and Mars opposing one another in Cancer and Capricorn, that was, I think, the meanest of the three. That one happened in early November. So if you're like, oh, early November, that was bad, yeah, that was why, probably, yeah. And we had another happening right around the first week of the year, around January 3. That happened in very early Aquarius and Leo, think that was the second meanest, because Mars was retrograde, and it was the first of those meetings, and it's like, really some of the first oppositions that Pluto is carving out in its tenure in Aquarius. But this one is the sort of third and final that happens in this sequence because of the Mars Retrograde for. It is totally reminding me of the scene. I bring up a lot of references, but it's rare that I find one that I'm like, this character is this planet, and this character is this planet, and that's what's happening here. Because I was thinking of the scene from The Big Lebowski, have you seen that movie? Whitney? Okay,
Whitney Kranz
like so many years ago, so many years ago, is that you're gonna have to retell it,
Alexandra Blair
yeah, but essentially, the the the scene is that there's these three men, and they're in a bowling competition. I'm thinking of this bowling competition scene, and, uh, John turos character is like a kind of freaky character. At one point, when he's introduced, they turn to each other and they go, they call him the pervert. So obviously he's Pluto. He's wearing a purple polyester jumpsuit at the bowling alley. It's Pluto. Stop it. Okay? Yeah, no, even Color Purple. That's what I'm saying. It's such a perfect scene. And then we have the sun in Taurus, which is obviously the dude in his bathrobe. That's obviously what's going on there? Just chill, relaxed vibe. And then we have Walter character, John Goodman's character, who is Mars. He is so quick to rage, he goes from zero to 100 in no time. Goes from zero to pulling out a firearm in a bowling alley. And it's just this tension between them. There's really a feud between Mars and Pluto characters, Walter and The Jesus. But we have the dude who's kind of a mediator, because he's so chill, like the sun in Taurus. He's kind of like, it's not that he's not on his friend's side, or he's not on the other side. He's just like, mediating the tension of the scene in the movie by being so aggressively chill, you can't even imagine him summoning up the energy. Now the sun in Aries, we can definitely imagine summoning up that energy to kind of fight with Mars and that zero to 100 but with the sun in Taurus, which is Venus ruled, we've got Venus in her sign of exaltation, and she is conjoining Saturn. There is a level headedness and a calmness. I actually think the sun is helping here. I really think the sun is helping what's happening, which is interesting, because I don't think that's typically the case with what the sun's doing in these in these oppositions.
Whitney Kranz
Yeah, especially in a hard aspect of a square, right, right? But I Okay, I'm just, I'm just dying of how you told that story, because it is so spot
Alexandra Blair
on. It's so spot on. There's a scene on YouTube. You can look it up, it, I kind of was tickling me, and then I went to look at it, and I was like, gosh, for once, I can, you could just literally put a subtitle that's, like, that's Pluto, that's Mars, that's sun. Okay,
Whitney Kranz
wait, you gotta go make a meme or something about it. Probably that's, yeah, check my Instagram, yep, of course, all, uh, all I remember about the Big Lebowski is, like, the rug and peeing on a rug. And there's some drama with the rug the bathrobe. And, yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. Oh,
Whitney Kranz
so that is that is so good. And, you know, I think yes, with the sun working to sort of mediate this situation here, this point in the month, we are talking about sheer power. And now we have, you know, several, several transits here that are just setting things into motion. You know, Mercury has just moved into Aries. Mars is about to move into Leo. The sun is moving into Taurus, like you said, and then this Mars Pluto opposition with the sun squaring both is really like a a bookend to all of this. And you talked about our previous Mars Pluto oppositions. And I know we talked about offline, how of all the of the Mars Pluto trend oppositions that we've been through. This one is just a little less scary, right? And the way that I'm thinking about it with the third in this cycle is it's like the first page of the last chapter in the book. You know, you, you've got, you've got a sense of resolution here. You understand how the story is winding down, and now we're examining the contents that have come from all of this work, right? Like I'm picturing a pressure cooker that Mars. Pluto opposition is a pressure cooker, and we survived the pressure cooker, right? And so when you open up that Insta pot, is it juicy goodness that you find, or is it like a sad burnt end of burnt, burnt to a crisp, right? And I think this can be a metaphor for what we have learned in terms of, like, the questions I'm asking myself going into this Mars Pluto opposition is like where we were once paralyzed by fear. Have we learned our bravery? You know that speaks to the Mars in Leo, quality of it all. And how has Mars journey this? This that includes a long retrograde in cancer, right? How has Mars journey taught you courage? And so I'm seeing like a point of, I think we've used this term many times when we've talked about Mars Pluto, but it's catharsis in a way that's also revoking or invoking resolution. Right? Like they all have evoked this catharsis, but this one feels resolute or a reckoning. And I am not saying I'm looking forward to this, because I have a feeling
Alexandra Blair
I think I am for you.
Unknown Speaker
That's why I'm that. I think I'm looking
Alexandra Blair
forward to it for you.
Whitney Kranz
This is too This is, yeah, you you look forward to it to for me, because it's just a little bit personal, right, with Leo as my rising sign, Aquarius, where my son sits, it's, it's speaking to some big, some big shifts, right? And I know that I've personally been dealing with this sort of internal and external power struggle, right? And so it'll be interesting to see sort of where this all lies.
Alexandra Blair
Yeah, I I feel you. I do think there is some resolution to this. If you just think about the three this, the three plot points that we've listed here, it really does feel like the most direct, the most forward moving. There is some resolution part of what is happening here on April 17, Mars enters Leo, which happens just after this chart that you've cast. As you could see the arrow on Mars, and that is such a flash of brilliance right there, from the 17th of April so the 19th of April, which is when the sun, indicated by that arrow, goes into Taurus, that is such a time of preparation for this opposition. The opposition is perfect on the 26th of April, and that sun square happens in legs. So the sun squares Mars first, and then it squares Pluto second. Again, it's like mediating through that Venus power, and then the opposition happens. So the sun goes over to one party and says, Hey, calm down. It's going to be okay. And then goes over to the other and it's like, okay, you know what you're going to do. We're all moving forward. It's really mediating. And you know, traditional astrologers have said, some of them have said a square from a benefic planet can be a benefic aspect the sun, I wouldn't necessarily call exclusively a benefic planet, but I think it's doing Venus's work here, and it is helping the situation. But that flash from Mars entering Leo on April 17, while the sun is still in Aries till April 19, that is a time of such clarity of the mind and of the purpose, specifically, not necessarily, of the intellect, but of the purpose of your heart and what must be done. So to your point, Whitney, about summoning up courage and bravery, if that's something you're needing to do, what a good time that would be for it between the 17th and the 19th, that's a time for stoking your courage, listening to your heart, and letting those flames grow really bright so that you can move forward with that purpose through this sort of pinch point of the opposition.
Whitney Kranz
I'm just over here like internalizing all of your words. Well,
Alexandra Blair
I have stellium and early Leo as well, and my chart ruler Saturn in early Aquarius. So I hope I can take my own advice.
Whitney Kranz
You can? You can I know it?
Alexandra Blair
I'll upload the transcript to chat GPT after and have it give me a pep talk based on my own delineations.
Whitney Kranz
Hey, I love how it's gotta go. I know I've been, Oh, I've been using AI so much. It's the Pluto and Aquarius, right? Just take these transcripts and make my life easier. Make
Alexandra Blair
it easier, talking about making life easier, why don't you take us into new moon and Taurus?
Whitney Kranz
Yeah, let's do it. Let me clear my drawings here and take us to there it is, a new moon. Oh, you know what? I'm gonna animate this forward, because we're just not quite to that new moon point. And so I think my cute little title is going to disappear, but that's okay, yeah, real people over here. Okay, so you can see the chart for the new moon, right?
Alexandra Blair
No, I actually still see Moon in Pisces.
Whitney Kranz
Oh, okay, well, let me, but let me
Alexandra Blair
say something about that while you figure it out, because on the 24th of April. We have Venus conjoining Saturn at 27 degrees Pisces. This is kind of part of what's happening for the new moon, because this is on the 24th of April, and the New Moon is on the 27th of April. But this Venus Saturn conjunction on the 24th is really special. The moon is applying to it. First of all, Moon as Weaver right now, yeah, but it's really special because it's happening at Venus's degree of exaltation, 27 and if we think back around February 2, February 1 and second, that's when Venus was conjoining Neptune at 27 degrees Pisces. So along with these themes that you've identified Whitney and brought up about maturity and maturing, and this is something we dove into in depth in the Venus Neptune, Saturn dynamic. But she begins this retrograde cycle, going forward, conjoining Neptune at 27 and now she went retrograde, back behind Saturn. Now she comes forward again and conjoins Saturn, both at her degree of exaltation that feels very conspicuous, very special, very significant and very mature. She's ending in a much more mature place. And the fact that the moon is hitting that conjunction on the 24th of April, that's a pretty special little time, right there. Oh, for sure.
Whitney Kranz
And not only here is Venus conjoining Saturn, evoking that feeling of maturity, but look where Venus is in relation to the sun. I mean, she is just about at her point of maximum elongation. And so this is a very empowered Venus. She's a woman with her wits about her right. She really understands how to get things done in a way that is both productive and sort of those qualities, those Venusian qualities of harmonizing, right? Yeah. And
Alexandra Blair
when the conjunction perfects on the 24th the moon is there in Pisces, as we saw a little earlier when Whitney had that up on the screen. So there's an easeful, an easefulness around the embodiment of values. If we think about Saturn and Venus together, the word values comes up, and there is an embodied sense to these values. They are not random ideals. They are not intellectual ideas. There is something that's pulling those values into our life, and it feels a little like a threshold you could step into. I am really looking at that April 24 date for myself to use for all kinds of project launches and personal ritual. But it's, it's a pretty special reference back to what we talked about when we talked about Venusian Wiles and the social capital and social power, and how that is different from a solar expression of power, leadership and authority that we sometimes culturally consider as a monolith, as a monolith of authority. We're thinking about the solar so it's pretty interesting that the Moon and Venus together are saying, Hey, we can show you something else. And the Moon and Venus, of course, are ruling in whatever way we think about that this new moon and Taurus, where the sun and moon on the 27th will conjoin at seven degrees Taurus. So there is a very soft alternative for for you, if you're looking for it this month, yeah, yes,
Whitney Kranz
for sure. And I love how we're bringing back while we talked about the Full Moon in Libra as a. A rational balance to all of this sort of emotional embodiment. With this Taurus New Moon, we're bringing embodiment back. And I'm so glad you talked about the maturity of this Venus conjunction with Saturn preceding this, because this is exactly what it it informs this new moon, right? And then how? How interesting that right around the same time, just shortly after this new moon, on April 30, Venus will move back into Aries in her direct motion and ready to take action once again. But before I'm getting ahead of myself a little bit right, because this is all about the new moon on the 27th and in Taurus, we're talking about embodiment, because the moon is in is exalted in Taurus, right? So this is a good place for the moon to be. Taurus is also a fixed earth sign. And so when we talk about a fixed earth sign, we think about how we are planting our seeds within fertile soil. And that's often a metaphor that we use for New Moon moments. Is the planting of a new seed the moon meeting with the sun in the sky is becoming emboldened with this solar message to take forth through the rest of the cycle. And this soil here in Taurus is extremely fertile, and there's a sense here also about with when we talk about the fixed quality of the sign growing where you're planted, or approaching that growth in a methodical sort of manner, I think that the fixed quality also lends so perfectly to these Taurian qualities we talk about like loyalty and strength and consistency, right? And so part of what I'm thinking about under this new Moon in Taurus is a strong vision we have about our future comfort, right? And how do we embody that? Where do we? Where does our lust for life come from? And how do we move forward with that? In think about the sign of the bull right in a headstrong manner, but maintaining sensuality, and if we talk more about the bull right? And there is this power associated with the bull. And here it is, a power of practicality. But I also wonder, as we are just coming off of the Mars Pluto opposition, and you can see here that that is still in engagement range. If a shadow of this particular feeling of power could be like the Minotaur, one of the shadows of the bull that Adam on the channel consistently speaks to is sort of that, that underbelly, that shadow of the bull is the Minotaur. And so I wonder if we could see some of this represented in a sort of stubborn capacity, right, or even a seduction of power, like one of the myths associated with Taurus is the Greek myth of Europa in which Zeus falls in love with this beautiful Europa princess, and in order to win her affection, turns into this beautiful white bull captures the princess and carries her across this. Into his own realm. And it's debated whether this is, you know, consensual or not, right, but it brings this picture of sort of capturing what we desire. And so I think that amid the Mars Pluto opposition here, we think about how we move forward with this new vision most productively and in a mode of peace and harmony and bringing ease, because, again, we're going back to that mature Venus here. So that's what I'm that's what I'm getting about this, this New Moon in Taurus. Oh, I love
Alexandra Blair
that so much. I was thinking about, there's, there's some iconic paintings relating to that myth, yes, whose titles I think are unfit for this program, but are beautiful and evocative and maybe worth, worth perusing, particularly the one by Titian. It is also the stubbornness on a personal level that you're talking about and the bull and the shadow side and the Beast, as Adam talks about it, are bringing up the the the machinations of what happens in March and April. So in March we have the the quality of light changes. And in the United States, because of daylight savings time, we have a very embodied and lived sense of that light change. The quality of light changes literally overnight here, because the quality of light changes literally overnight here, the clocks get set back, and suddenly day feels so much longer, and the quality of light, in terms of nature and not human invention, also changes. But the earth hasn't quite unfrozen yet during Aries season. And I don't mean literally, but right now, we are going through the spring process of a long, hard winter, Mars Retrograde in cancer, brutal, and we have planets retrograde that are coming out of it. It's like spring is actually happening in Taurus season for us this year, and Venus is doing a lot of the work, like a magic fairy godmother going around, waving her wand and being like, there's some sprouts in the ground. There's some beautiful family interactions after we've had some pretty inflamed Mars in Cancer with our relations. Here's some other nice things. Here's a sweet treat on a Friday for you. There's just this beautiful defrosting of the earth. And when I think about what you're talking about, about the stubbornness and the shadow side, and what can happen with a Taurus expression, is a digging in the heels, even in the face of mounting evidence to the contrary. So even as things are defrosting and getting better, and even as we're moving away from the difficulty and inflammation of that Mars and cancer, don't let yourself get trapped in that digging in the heels mode of being of like a afraidness, a fear of moving forward with earnestness, with this Venusian earnestness, into something that's nicer, like the year, astrologically, gets nicer every single day, week and month, moving from now until specifically, I'm looking forward to Jupiter and entering cancer. But things are getting easier. Astrologically, Don't be trapped by that shadow side. Don't become the Minotaur beast. Don't dig in those heels. The earth is defrosting this month, and there are a lot of really beautiful places to find that softness, if you're looking for it. And the New Moon in Taurus, I mean, is a it's a very special place for that. If you are using that intentionally.
Whitney Kranz
Earl, that was so beautiful. Drop the mic. I've got nothing to add.
Alexandra Blair
Does that bring us to the end of the month there? And we wrap things up in a neat Venusian bow?
Whitney Kranz
I think, I think we did that was great. I'll stop sharing the screen here so we can bring it home.
