Happy Election Day Everyone!
The Moon is in late Aquarius today, moving into Pisces. Meanwhile, Mars is moving into Aquarius late tonight, and Jupiter is still applying to a sextile with Saturn.
Here’s what to watch for:
* The culminating of Mars in Capricorn coincides with election night in the USA.
* Its likely that as Mars enters Aquarius tonight the media networks will be declaring a winner in the race. It’s interesting to think that right at this moment the most decisive thing happening in the sky is the sign change of Mars, who will enter into a whole sign sextile with its ruler, Saturn.
* Meanwhile, the Moon will be applying to a square with Saturn and a simultaneous trine with the Sun in Scorpio. The trine from the Moon to the Sun indicates progress and success. It is a good omen for receiving support, things developing smoothly, gaining momentum, and finding green lights for all of our endeavors. What’s interesting is that right before this support and success comes there is the square from the Moon to Saturn. In terms of the election results, it would not surprise me if there was some particular Saturnine block that stands in front of a smooth outcome or decision tonight or even into tomorrow. In our personal lives, we should be prepared to see some challenging elements interrupting or challenging an otherwise positively developing situation. The good news is this challenge from Saturn is temporary and immediately followed by the trine from the Moon to the Sun.
* Remember that next month, following today’s election is the opposition from Jupiter to Uranus. We are also in the midst of a Pluto opposite Sun transit in the USA’s birth chart. It is very likely that in the next month an intense revolutionary atmosphere will continue building in the American cultural/political arena, and also around the world. The beginning of the Jupiter/Uranus cycle coincided with the Arab Spring and Occupy movement of 2010/11, and this cycle is now coming to its metaphorical “full moon” moment in the next month or so.
Prayer: Help us to remember our common bonds on this contentious day..love, peace, patience, and kindness.
