The Moon is in Scorpio today, moving toward sextiles with Mercury and Jupiter before entering Sagittarius by later this evening.
What to watch for:
* Sometimes between a solar eclipse and lunar eclipse there is a tangible feeling of loss, heaviness, or intensity in the air. I’ve heard people describe it like jumping from a moving vehicle and trying to hit the ground running so you don’t wipe out, and I’ve heard people describe it as a sense of foreboding or anxiety. Sometimes people describe sleepless nights or eager anticipation. Sometimes it feels like you’re stuck in a time warp of some kind, and sometimes it feels disorienting…like, “wait, my life felt a particular way, and I was heading in a particular direction, but now that’s all changed and I don’t know exactly where I am.”
All of this is normal eclipse season weirdness. It’s different for different people, and some people don’t feel a thing! But if you ARE experiencing any of the above, notice how this feeling will culminate and probably take the shape of resolving events by the Full Moon and over the closely following equinox.
* Meanwhile today, the Moon makes sextiles to Mercury and Jupiter which should bring some positive news, constructive advice or feedback, a plan or vision for the future, growth and confirmation, or even the recovery of something lost or forgotten. The Moon will essentially be reuniting the Mercury/Jupiter conjunction even though its fading because she will move the light of Mercury back to Jupiter through her sequence of sextiles to the two planets.
Finally, let’s not forget that Jupiter is culminating right now. Look to the house with Virgo on the cusp and see what topics might be experiencing a kind of dramatic culmination or change right now. Then look to the house ruled by Libra to get a sense of where things are heading in the upcoming weeks as Jupiter makes his sign change, which is often just as powerful as Jupiter’s culmination in the previous sign…ingresses and sign culminations!!
Prayer: Help us to hear the voices of guidance and light during this season of change.
