The 6th House: Slavery, Sickness, Sacrifice, and Service
In this talk, we will explore the ancient significations of the sixth house, as well as how the sixth house came to be called “the joy of Mars,” and the place of “bad fortune.” As it was traditionally understood as a “blind spot” for the native, the sixth house has an ancient and mysterious relationship with what we now might call “bad luck.” After we unpack the history and meaning of the sixth house, we will then discuss how we can turn the difficulties of the sixth house into something positive and uplifting for ourselves and for clients.
