The Full Moon is just one day away, and we are now entering what should be some of the most interesting and dynamic astrology of 2016, saving the best for last!
Here’s what to watch for:
* As a number of my astrological colleagues have been pointing out, Trump is approaching a very critical transit in his natal chart. As trump was himself born under a Gemini/Sagittarius full-moon, this full moon is essentially acting like a kind of eclipse on his natal configuration (which was also a lunar eclipse itself). This is important because in the last week of December and first few weeks of January Trump will also have Saturn passing over a conjunction to his Moon and opposition to his Sun. It’s obviously possible that this configuration means nothing more than an intensification of the stresses he’s already under in the “coming to presidential power” transition time, but many astrologers, including myself, are convinced that it might point toward greater political/media turmoil yet to come.
* What’s particularly interesting is the fact that just after this full Moon moment that aligns with Trump’s natal full Moon we’re seeing a Mercury retrograde in a near perfect conjunction with Pluto. Will we learn or discover more from the intelligence community about Trump’s ties to Russian hacking? Will there be new drama surrounding the electoral college? It’s perhaps wishful thinking to suggest anything will change for the better with Trump at this moment, and I can by no means claim to be objective about this. I’ve hesitated to write about any of this because I am so far from objective in this matter, yet it’s important to try to make some sense of the signs in the sky, and they certainly point toward the potential for powerful disclosures, leaks, or secrets to be revealed (Mercury/Pluto). Whatever information surfaces, it’s possible that it would delay or challenge or create the need for some kind of reorganization or revision efforts going forward.
* Remember that ALL of the above is also happening in the midst of the Jupiter/Uranus opposition, which points toward powerful breakthroughs and rapid transformations of circumstances due to explosive or unexpected events or discoveries. Jupiter/Uranus is often about success and victory through hard challenges and daunting odds or overcoming seemingly insurmountable deficits.
Without wanting to sound alarmist and over-the-top, I do believe we are in for some of the more dynamic events of the year, and it’s likely that these events carry over and set the tone for the year-ahead.
All that being said…
Prayer: Help us to keep it simple. Chop wood, carry water.
