The Nightlight Professional Certification Path
Students become eligible for APAI certification by successfully completing and certifying through Nightlight's complete three-year Hellenistic Natal Astrology curriculum.
This includes:
Year One: Hellenistic Astrology Foundations
Build a thorough grounding in the philosophy, symbolism, and technical foundations of traditional natal astrology.
Year Two: Timing & Forecasting
Develop advanced predictive skills through traditional timing techniques, transits, profections, annual releasing, zodiacal releasing, and other forecasting methods.
Year Three: Counseling & Professional Practice
Learn to synthesize charts with confidence while developing the consultation, communication, and ethical skills necessary for working with clients.
Each year concludes with comprehensive assessments designed to demonstrate mastery of the material. Students who successfully complete all three years and pass the required certification testing qualify for Nightlight's Professional Certification and become eligible for recognition as an APAI Certified Astrologer.

In addition to successfully completing Years One, Two, and Three of Nightlight's Hellenistic Natal Astrology curriculum and passing all required certification assessments, graduates seeking recognition as APAI Certified Astrologers must affirm and agree to abide by the Nightlight Code of Ethics as a condition of acceptance onto the APAI Register of Certified Astrologers.
