Bio
Susheela Willis (she/her) grew up in a family where the Jyotish astrologer was one of the first people you called upon the birth of a baby. But like many before her, her own interest in astrology really took root as a kid sitting on a bookstore floor, poring over that Sun-sign classic, The Secret Language of Birthdays. She’s been studying and practicing ever since. Her most significant astrological education came under Adam Elenbaas at Nightlight Astrology, where she now serves as Course Director for the Year 2 program. She’s also been influenced by the work of Chris Brennan, Demetra George, and Chani Nicholas, among others.
Susheela’s practice is rooted in traditional Hellenistic astrology and aims to remind you that your connection with the cosmos is intrinsic and accessible. Acting as a translator between you and your chart, she bridges worlds—the archetypal and the personal, the symbolic and the tangible, the eternal and the fleeting—to make astrology relevant to everyday life. Her readings are practical, conversational, and collaborative. Together, you’ll untangle your questions and curiosities.
Susheela lives in Toronto with her husband and two young kids. When she’s not reading charts, you’ll find her deep into an audiobook on a very long walk, lifting kettlebells in her living room, or learning several languages at once on Duolingo (currently French, German, Irish, and Latin).
