This full moon in Aquarius is no ordinary lunation. Conjoined with Pluto and standing opposite a Jupiter Cazimi in Leo, it marks one of the most pivotal moments of 2026. In this episode, we explore not just the outer events that might unfold, but the deeper tensions these archetypes awaken within. We look at how the personal heart and the collective sphere meet, clash, and ultimately ask something of us: not to choose a side, but to hold the tension with patience and discernment.

Hey everyone. This is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology [https://nightlightastrology.com/].
Today we're going to take a look at the full moon that's taking place in the sign of Aquarius. This is the biggest full moon of 2026. It's conjoined Pluto. It's opposite the Jupiter Cazimi taking place in the sign of Leo. These are some of the biggest events of the year because it's capturing the Jupiter-Pluto opposition, Jupiter's Cazimi, which is a remarkably powerful moment within its synodic cycle. The full moon is opposite that, while being conjoined with Pluto. All of those details make for the most dynamic full moon of 2026.
So we're going to take a look at all of this today, give you some things to watch for from an archetypal perspective. I'm going to do some quick horoscopes, reminding you of the topics you may see active right now through the whole sign house of Aquarius as well. Hopefully this will give you a really nice, well-rounded perspective. Before we get into it, as always, remember to like and subscribe, share your comments, your reflections, your stories. It always helps to help the algorithm find us when you do these little things, and it's free to subscribe.
You can find transcripts of any of our daily talks on the website that is nightlightastrology.com. Couple of promotions. First and foremost, I am so excited to announce that our 2027 retreat, the Oracle within our annual retreat, is now on sale. So this retreat takes place in August of 2027. You're now going to find it on the website, ready to go. Registration is open. Early bird sale is available. Go to the events page. Click on annual retreat. If you go to courses, you'll also see annual retreat. Either of those will take you to the same page. It's August 7 to the 12th, 2027.
This is like an annual pilgrimage for students and community members of the Nightlight space, we're going to be studying divination, connecting with the Oracle. This is meant to be experiential, transformative, healing, communal. It is a really, really fun. Easily the best thing that I've ever done at Nightlight was this summer's retreat that we took. We took down to Mexico. This one's taking place here in the Twin Cities, Minneapolis, a little south of the Twin Cities, in a really beautiful retreat space called Mount Olivet, and this retreat is now open for you to enroll.
You'll find all of the options at the bottom, and the early bird. Excuse me, I just went through that really fast on the screen. The early bird rates are available until October 1. So between now and October, you can register and save significantly. There's a few payment plans that are available. This should also be a little bit easier in terms of the cost. It's come down from the Mexico retreat. The cost of airfare should be better if you're in the U.S. getting to Minnesota. So hopefully, this also makes it a little bit more accessible because I know a lot of people wanted to go last year, but Mexico was a little outside of your price point.
So, anyway, check that out. I cannot wait to see you. This has become to me now like an annual pilgrimage that we are making together as a community. Anyway, so that's there. Go to the shop page. Click on my books. You'll see my book, The Oracle Speaks, is out. The retreat, in many ways is based around the ideas that I encrypted into this book in story form, and so if you want to know more about the approach I take to astrology, what we learn and study on the retreat, check out the book I just wrote. I hope that you will enjoy that, and then don't forget book a reading.
You can book readings in our need-based astrology clinic. These are staff members who are there with affordable prices for you if you want to book a natal reading. My readings should be back in August once I'm get I'm getting a lot of work done right now on some projects and starting a new book. Once that all gets rolling, I'll probably have another opening for readings that I'll do. I did some back in April. I'll have them open again. So anyway, those are the announcements. Let's turn our attention over to Nichepso. By the way, any questions about the retreat? You can email us info@nightlightastrology.com.
Nicepso, our official astrology software program. You can get the affiliate link for a discount in the comments or description of the video. Great software. The guys will be back in August to talk about the updates. Anyway, here you can see that we have quite a powerful full moon. Here it is, and I've got this just about a degree off, but it's it's right there. The full moon is exactly opposite the Jupiter Cazimi that's taking place today. That is the synodic reset of Jupiter. That is a very powerful moment of rebirth, renewal, and empowerment for Jupiter at the heart of the Sun in its own rulership in Leo, opposite a full moon loosely conjoined within just a couple degrees of Pluto. Of course, that means the Pluto-Jupiter opposition is still in effect. So we are at the heart of one of the most powerful moments of the year.
Now I want to say a few things about powerful moments in astrology. Before I say anything about this configuration, there are usually a couple of ways that we experience this. It's like a spectrum of different ways you can anticipate that you'll experience an event like this. One is obviously the most dramatic thing that that could take place, which is a significant event in your life that captures the symbolism that we're going to talk about today, that is you know, that flips the script, that really shifts the direction that your life is heading in, maybe in one area of life or another, but major events that crystallize right around the time of a full moon like this are the biggest, most spectacular fireworks display of symbolism that you can see as students and followers of astrology.
Okay, so that and that's everyone's usually waiting for that, but there are there is a second way that is just as frequent, but I think we're a lot more impatient when it comes to this, and that has to do with what kinds of things are set in motion around this time that end up having just as much significance in terms of shifting the story of your life, and circumstances changing and plot lines reconfiguring, and and really significant periods of your life unfolding from this space because of what is set in motion right now, which may not be as big and flashy as you are expecting. So, in other words, sometimes events will happen. Let me give you an example. It'll be easier if I just give you an example.
Let's say around this time you have a conversation, an encounter, maybe a an argument or something that's uncomfortable—it represents a tension in your life, but at the moment it's not like you know 11 out of 10 intense, life-changing, dramatic crisis. It's it's nothing like that. However, in the days that follow that tension with your boss or that tension with your spouse or that tension with a friend or your kid or whatever, or a really intense psychological internal experience that you have, in the days that follow, in the weeks that follow, you start getting really clear that this wasn't just an ordinary event. It's shifting the way you're thinking about something. It's shifting your desires, intentions, plans. It's starting to make you really think or rethink something, and then in the next weeks that come, maybe a month to two months out now, you decide to make a really significant life change.
A lot of the times in astrology, what we are not good at tracking is how powerful little seeding moments like a new moon, a full moon, an astrological transit can be when it comes to sequences of events that play out in time around something like the epicenter of an astrological event like this. So all of that is just to say it's not as sexy, you know. It's not as I don't know. It's not the shock and awe campaign that we're all expecting from the planets, like they're just gonna they're gonna light up the narrative of our life with the biggest thing we've ever experienced. But far more regularly is this version. Does this version of the astrology take place? So what I want you to think about right now is what tensions are present in your life, not what events are happening that represent the astrology.
But right now, if nothing has happened yet that you've noticed, then start by saying what tensions are most present in me. Is it the amount of time I'm working? Is it a tension or a conflict that I'm really getting worn down by in a friendship or a love relationship. Is it a way that I'm feeling about myself? Is it a way that I'm feeling about my work? Is it a desire that I have that's just getting stronger and stronger? And I'm just, you know what I mean. Take the time to identify what tension is loudest right now that you feel almost like it's it wants to pull you apart. I want you to think about that tension, and then I want you to track if you now you have to be someone who's willing to do a little bit of homework, right? Track how that tension evolves and changes in say the next three or four weeks as this moon cycle plays out, and as we go into eclipse season, in fact, if you track it out for the next two weeks of this moon cycle—that's the remainder of the moon cycle—and then the entirety of the next moon cycle—it's about a month and a half. Track that tension from this point forward.
What you will notice if you do this is that this time that you're living in right now was pivotal, and it was pivotal in terms of significant changes that will be coming in the next weeks, month, as the next eclipse cycle plays out. Because where's that next eclipse taking place in Leo, a new moon solar eclipse in Leo coming off from this Jupiter Cazimi space, coming in the opposition to the node and the the next moon cycle, obviously will be taking place in a sign opposite Aquarius. So astrology rarely tells stories in single events; it tells stories through sequencing of events and through paying attention to their relationship, so I wanted to say that first. Just get that out of the way because sometimes people get disappointed when they see things happen like this.
For example, Mars Uranus, Mars Uranus at the beginning of July, a lot of people were, you know, astrologers were predicting massive things taking place. Understandably, it's a very powerful transit, and all of us are like Uranus isn't a new sign and everything. But if you pay attention, even mundane astrologers have to do this. I remember Richard Tarnas talking about this when I saw him teach at a weekend conference I went to in California years ago. It's not because even mundane outer planetary big cycles. You pay attention to what the inflection points of, say, Mars-Uranus conjunctions are doing relative to the space around them in the weeks and months that come right before and right after that. What takes place, and how do the events that take place resemble the symbolism? Because astrological events are not just they're like wave patterns, right? So all of this is just food for thought, and I hope that it's useful.
The third thing that can happen is chart specific. So by chart specific, I mean that the transit will be louder or more muted depending on chart factors, and that's something you always have to kind of pay attention to, and that's the individual student of astrology side of things, where being aware of your own chart and the interactions of major transits like this with your own chart is like half the work. Okay, well, anyway, that I'm a preamble aside. Let's get into it. So, what I did this morning when I was thinking about this, because we've talked about this transit at least 10 times in 2026 on my channel. So, what I wanted to do is talk about this from the standpoint of the wisdom of the I Ching, the wisdom of the Taro, and the archetypes that are present, because often what I do, whether you see it or not, in the way that I prepare is I will work with the taro and the I Ching as I'm actively thinking about the archetypes which I already know about from an astrological perspective.
But sometimes there's angles of the archetypes which are like jewels that you turn and catch different reflections of the light bouncing off from, and you catch those different angles that you're not seeing or not even thinking about. They're not in your awareness until you use a kind of parallel divinatory language like the tarot reaching. So that's what I did this morning. Let's talk about the astrological backdrop first. So we have a full moon conjoined Pluto in Aquarius. First of all, that can bring up a lot of hidden emotional and psychological material, and it can bring it up to the surface and make it pretty loud. That can intensify things that we have, like fears or fascinations or compulsions or suspicions. It can make things feel more emotionally polarized, and there can be a desire to get to the bottom of something.
Now, because this is taking place in the sign of Aquarius, that might naturally involve things that are more social, collective, communal, political, or ideological. It can involve things like group think, group psychology, social networks, sociology, technology, and various forms of social human communication, and questions about what constitutes social human progress, and struggles over where the future is going. Now, all of that may seem really big, but each of us have an intersection with that Aquarian sphere of concern and activity archetypally, and it's going to be located in some particular dimension of our charts, which we'll go over later. So, the full moon can expose shadows within these spaces because of its conjunction with Pluto.
What are the shadows beneath our humanitarian ideals, or beneath progressive or political movements or ideas, whether it's technological or ideological, it can stir up a feeling of revolutionary intensity, and there can also be a feeling that I belong to the right people, to the right group, to the right ideas, and the shadows of that can come up as well. Now, on the other side, we have the Sun Jupiter Cazimi in Leo, which can represent things like incredible confidence and kind of creative, dazzling light and brilliance and faith and charisma and leadership and big-heartedness and a sense of strong purpose, a renewed sense of faith and meaning, and by contrast, the Jupiter Sun conjunction in Leo is much more personal. My personal heart, my personal unique sense of individual beingness, and so at its best, the Jupiter Cazimi can restore hope and encourage heartfelt individual uniqueness, but it has a shadow too, which might be inflation and grandiosity, overconfidence, moral or heroic self-importance, or inflation. Confidence makes me right. Confidence makes it true, and so it can get a little ego trippy.
Now the opposition between the two is therefore it packs a lot. You have the charismatic radiant individual for good or bad. You have the magnetic transformative power of collective groups or ideas for good or bad, and while Leo has more concern with the personal sphere, Aquarius usually has more concern with the collective, and so it's the individual versus the collective. Individual authority, collective persuasion, heart-centered conviction, ideological pressure, personal charisma, groupthink, creative leadership, systemic participation, sovereign individuality—right versus the demands of a group or the need to participate or belong to a group. The danger of the polarization is that one side tries to blot out or cancel out the other, and the deeper task, in my humble opinion, is not to choose between one or the other. Right? We say this all the time on the channel, but to examine the relationship and learn to hold the tension of the relationship in our own psyches, and in the way we make choices. So that's just review. We have talked about all of this on the channel numerous times, but let's get into the I Ching reading.
So the first hexagram that I drew this morning, when asking for more insight about this transit, was hexagram 29, which is sometimes called the abyss. So, hexagram 29 as a way of thinking about what we're dealing with at this time, it's interesting because it the abyss is sort of a picture of being stuck in like a deep dark hole filled with water, and the water's rising, and there's like whirlpools, and so it's a pretty gnarly, gnarly situation depicted by the hexagram. But there's the hexagram is all about the wisdom of dealing with perilous situations and repeated encounters with danger, uncertainty, depth, doubt, instability, and change, where change is considered to be more turbulent or trying or crisis laden.
And the hexagram basically says that you can't just overcome this situation heroically with force, because there's an image in the hexagram is an image in the trigrams of doubled water, which means depth upon depth, abyss upon abyss, pit upon pit, danger following another danger. It's immersive and deep stuff that we're in, and so you can't get out of that with a tricky, flashy show of heroic force. And the hexagram says that your task is not to try to get out of it, almost like oh, what an inconvenience that such difficult spaces exist, but rather to develop the heart. Let's call it with Leo in mind that's capable of moving through deep, difficult spaces without grandiose displays of force, without dismissive positivity, and without becoming inauthentic or fake. That's not easy. Think about the times in your life when you've been in perilous situations, that are kind of like difficulty upon difficulty.
How do you move through those spaces without giving up, without giving in, without collapsing in fear, without coming outside of yourself, and without looking for fake quick solutions, while being authentic in how you move through difficulty, that's somehow required by fate. Okay, not not easy. So there's a lot of Plutonian residents there, I think, because both Moon Pluto and Hexagram 29, very common, are about descent and psychological depth, and hidden dangers and emotional intensities and encounters with forces that are larger than just the personal ego. That the personal ego can't handle them alone through force or cunning or something like that, and hexagram 29 is like once you're in a deep space, or let's say with Pluto, once a deep, darker reality has been shown or reveals itself, then the encounter is unavoidable. So, how do you deal with that?
That could manifest right now with the Moon in Aquarius through things like collective fears that are arriving in yourself or in the space around you, compulsive group behaviors, or being possessed by an ideology and losing your individuality by emotional, almost like emotional viruses, that we get possessed by that aren't our own. There's hidden power that can be corrosive that's concealed within group systems, networks. I would also say there can be just an attraction to crisis and catastrophe that we have to look at within our own heart, and we have to be aware of the potential to want to make simple distinctions between good guys and bad guys, heroes and villains. All of these are the easy, quick way to try to get out of perilous, deep, and complicated situations, all of us are in a it's complicated relationship with life, with light and shadow. If we're being honest, and this hexagram in particular is like you really got to be honest about it.
It's easy to just be like, well, I'm on the right side, you know, and especially when things get morally and spiritually complex, then it's easy to try to get out of the complexity by just labeling good, bad, blaming, you know, assigning blame, judging. So the spiritual instruction of this hexagram, if you read the text carefully, is that if you stay sincere and cling to truth within the heart, then you learn how to pass through danger without abandoning what is true. It's like learning how to hold a little heart candle while moving through a time that's very charged. So that all of the lines teach emotional steadiness, humility, patience, repetition, or like the willingness, the willingness to keep showing up and doing the right thing over and over. Respect for difficulty and a kind of trust that's developed through knowing how to stay in and move through difficult times rather than rush past them because they're uncomfortable.
Now, the third line of hexagram 29 was ching in the reading that I did, and that line in particular says that there's danger on both sides. There's danger behind and there's danger in front, which means you pass through danger before and now there's danger again ahead of you. And there's no easy or obvious path of escape. This line says, and so, however, the line counsels be still. That's fascinating because what Jupiter, at the heart of the sun, may want to do, given the perilous depth and potential complexity or intensity of Moon Pluto, is to come up with a decisive, meaningful, convicted, declarative act of heroism—to condemn, to rescue, to revolt, to choose a side, and to do so quickly, suddenly, with bravado and bluster and heroism. But this line says, "Be still. It's about the still heart and the wise, the wisdom of being still. That means remaining conscious inside of a pressure cooker. Be present within attention rather than trying to immediately discharge it.
Immediate action is not always courageous, just because we can mistake. I don't know courage and spontaneity with a kind of what am I trying to say? We can kind of mistake impulsive spontaneity with courageousness, but delay does not mean we're being a coward, you know. Delay and being still doesn't mean that we aren't developing clarity and certainty. We don't have to have it immediately to know it's real. Intensity of feeling is not always truth. Sitting with things is also okay. So line three in particular says that there is a kind of action that can come from the heart that sits with something in stillness and lets discernment arise, and then there's action that is just merely trying to relieve psychological pressure, and you have to know the difference in a situation like this.
And I think that's particularly true because the moon Pluto will bring the pressure. And Jupiter Cazimi at the heart of the sun will bring the immediate impulse to act and save the day. And also, when we feel trapped or we feel like we're in the midst of something unfolding that's really difficult, we will be drawn really quickly toward whoever shows up in that space that is most charismatic, or most authoritarian, or that has the most confident sense of moral absolutism or righteousness, or that has ideological certainty, or that appeals to our need to belong somewhere, or that makes a dramatic promise, probably an overpromise, and so we also have to be careful right now of what we're becoming susceptible to within ourselves or outside of ourselves as an immediate answer or response that makes us feel good about something emerging, perhaps in the world around us, collectively or in some other space of our life that is hard to look at, that's hard to deal with.
So, what do we open ourselves up to as an influence or a persuasion? Because it's hard to sit with something and allow that discernment to arise carefully and thoughtfully and slowly. See, no one's talking about the potential for these transits to elicit impatience, but a lot of our life is all of the instructions of these beautiful meditative traditions on planet Earth teach us patience, humility, curiosity, empathy—not quick, decisive, certain, confident, judging—you know—self-righteousness. But it's so easy to fall into that because when we're in overwhelming spaces, we panic. We just want out. Now the changing hexagram leads to 31, which is attraction. So the resulting situation, we go from this to this.
Hexagram 31 is all about what we allow to be influencing us, what we're attracted to, what we are responding to, what's courting us, what we're magnetized to, and as something really difficult comes up, the question is, as we've been saying, when difficult things come up, what do we cling to? Attraction is sometimes like the fire to the log, there's a natural affinity or attraction between fire and its fuel, its source. And so, what do we cling to? What are we attracted to? What do we allow to influence us? What are we responsive or receptive to? Especially when things get really difficult. When things get really difficult, for example, for me in my early 20s, one of the things that I did habitually for almost two years of my life was to reach to drugs.
It's a simple example, and those of you who know me on the channel know I've been through a recovery journey in my lifetime, and one of the ways that you safeguard your sobriety in a path of recovery. And there's many different modalities. I'm not just speaking about 12 step programs. It's really how many different teachers and models will teach sobriety is to stay aware of what is leading or guiding your attraction. What's magnetizing you? Where are your desires going? And being able to sit with them rather than act on them, and that means being aware of what environments are the best ones because of what they do to you. For example, I have a hard time being in spaces where everyone is drinking or everyone, especially if everyone was doing drugs.
I found, for example, really quickly in my 20s, that my social life changed entirely. Not so much because I had judgments about everyone doing whatever they were doing, but because it was hard for me to be around it. It was hard for me to be around it because of what naturally was pulling me within that space. So what's interesting about this is the Aquarius Leo axis is also like within what spaces, within what collective dimensions of life, within what communities, within what cultural or ideological frameworks are you being pulled out of your center, versus what spaces are easier for you to stay in your center? Another way of putting it would be: What are the positive influences of spaces that you need so that your heart can stay in its center? It's not just what to avoid; it's what to go toward.
What magnetizes us? What persuades us? What do we trust? What moves us? What are we willing to follow? This is all the subject of attraction, hexagram 31. But if we read that in the midst of hexagram 29 and the opposition taking place right now, then we get to this space where it's like, when you're in difficulty, how does it cause you to reflect upon what? In other words, there when you get into perilous situations in your life, let's say it's at work or in relationships, there's usually a time where you'll go, okay, I've got you know I've got to like manage how I'm going to deal with this very immediate situation, and then after I deal with that, I need to think about what kinds of situations led me to this one.
You know, what kinds of choice patterns, what kinds of environments, what kinds of people, what kinds of thinking, what kinds of activities, habits for me and also in the world around me bring me into peril. And then, how do I make an adjustment so that who I am and what's good for me and what makes me unique as a person has enough alignment and magnetism and right alignment that I can stay in a good place? We can't stay in a good place purely by being defensive and walling ourselves off from the world, but by being purely identified with the world, we lose our heart. So there's a sense here of being able to refine and look at what attracts us and is genuinely good for us, but what puts us into danger—the heart and the collective. Right, so just a few thoughts there. I hope they're helpful.
I'm gonna turn over to Nichepso, and we're gonna look at the taro table. So cool part about Nachepso—it's got a taro table. I did a three-card spread this morning as well, and I got the Queen of Pentacles, Justice, and the King of Pentacles, and I asked about the sequence of cards in relation to the astrology. When I think about the Queen of Pentacles, first of all, I think it's really fascinating that we got the King, Queen with Justice in the middle. The Queen represents things like embodiment and care and receptivity, especially in the plant and animal body world. It's a very earthy card, and it's about intimate relationship with life, protecting what's vulnerable. And this is nice because this I think this card brings this astrological aspect into the world a bit more, because what we've been talking about is very sort of conceptual.
Feels very Aquarian. She asks questions like, my wife likes to ask, what is alive? What living things need care? What does your body know? What is materially sustainable and healthy, and who and what in the actual living world is affected by our personhood and by our collective participation? She represents attentiveness and power through what we care for and belong to in the world of nature, let's say. So I think she's kind of like she offers a really interesting juxtaposition to the symbolism, the sun Jupiter's potential for inflation. Well, it's certainly inflated if it's not down on the level of Earth, where it's connected to immediate living beings in a living ecosystem that we're a part of, and I don't just mean that in a I mean the ecosystem of humans, of our houses, of our neighborhoods, of the living things.
So she's kind of grounding this into, you know whatever you're doing right now, whatever peril you're in, whatever way you're trying to find around it, whatever transformation is happening. She's bringing it to me. She brings it into the body, the home, the earth, daily forms of care, daily kind of earthy responsibilities. Every great vision, every great moment of alchemy, if it's not answering to the conditions of embodied life is just a little dissociative, so I like her here for starting point for this reason. Before we make big declarations, we have to ask ourselves: Have you watered the plants in the house? You know, for my birthday, my kids bought me a bonsai tree, and I'm like, oh my god! I was so scared when I got it. I was like, geez, I know these need a lot of care, and so Ashley's been helping me take care of it, and I'm realizing how it's look like caring for this delicate little living being called a bonsai.
You know this little tree, this like little mini tree, and how sensitive it is is sort of blowing my mind. I'm not gonna lie, because it's making me realize how blunt and conceptual and mental I can be. Now my wife is a blessing in my life, specifically because of how much? What a good teacher she is for me of embodiment. Double Taurus, right? Cancer rising. Anyway, all of this is just to say I think what she does is says, "Hey, all of this is it grounded in the caring for life. Anyway, let's move forward. So the justice card comes up, and it actually sits between the king and the queen. I think that's mirroring the opposition. In there's two powerful figures, a king and a queen on either side, and then justice in between with a scale, two different forms of authority, and it really a call for balance, and right relationship.
Justice is about discernment and accountability and proportionality, and reciprocity and ethics, and the weighing of actions and consequences of actions. So there's some balancing that has to take place between the king and the queen. What does the king represent? To me, the king at its best is stewardship, responsibility, stability, order, things that are durable and that last, and it's about material responsibility and duty, and it's mature. It's like it's you know, if Queen of Pentacles is Taurus, then this gives me like a wise stewarding Capricorn kind of vibe. But obviously there's shadows to either card. But let's just talk about what the real potential would be here. What can be sustained over time? What are we responsible for? Where is order, durability, practical duty found, and where is care for the living things that's connected, devoted, nourishing, and the justice card is asking that these things be balanced.
How do we balance these things? I think this is about let's call let's start with right relationship that there are heart concerns and then there are practical objective kind of conceptual concerns, let's use the kind of classical masculine-feminine. If the King of Pentacles saying you live in a world that requires thoughtful, responsible, ethical stewardship, the Queen says, and you also need heart-centered, nourishing connectivity, warmth, devotion, and commitment that's more subjective, whereas the king says the commitment needs to be more objective. I think a lot about a talk that one of the yoga teachers on our staff liked to give for our yoga teacher trainers years ago.
Now, he would talk about what does it mean to be active socially, in the world, you know, helping to be a steward of the healing of the world, and he talked about the personal heart and the personal sphere, and that sphere is what is genuine, authentic, what moves us, what we have genuine emotional connection to the topics, the themes, the skills, the interests—what actually connects us through the heart to the world—and you have to know that and develop that. If you don't know that and develop that, then you will act through concepts, ideas, obligations, oughts, shoulds—all of which may look ethical, but in a deeper sense, in yoga philosophy, may actually be unethical, specifically because of a lack of heart alignment.
And then, on the other hand, if you're developing heart, heart, heart, heart, heart, subjective feeling, connection, but you're not objectively looking at the world and the greater sphere of the environment that you're in and what its needs are and what your ethical dharma or duty is within it, then you're going to be someone who is inherently selfish and and potentially ignoring the application of selfhood in civic, some kind of civic or social responsibility, and so he talked about the work of yoga being the joining or yoking or balancing of these spheres. The thing is that I really appreciated about this is he was like nobody can tell you what you ought to be doing, just like nobody but you can know who you are, and so that sense of moral imperative.
Immanuel Kant, this philosopher that I he said there's, he was talking about the moral imperative, a sort of spiritual moral imperative. He said, "There's only two things that fill me with awe: the starry skies above and the moral law within. But what he meant by that was not that everyone has the exact same 10 commandments written on their heart, but more that life is being negotiated in every moment, being negotiated through a law that's written on the personal heart that has to be personally discovered, just as surely as you have to personally discover who you are, and that as you discover who you are, you discover the moral imperative. You discover the moral oughts, shoulds, and duties that come with being true to who you are. I think that that's what this reading is speaking to, and the fact that the King and Queen of Pentacles are there to me represents that this is inherently about how to be in the world, but it's about how to be in the world, balancing some sense of civic belonging responsibility alongside of the that that responsibility is written on the personal heart that you have to love and care for and have to have to know through devotion.
So that's it. That's what I've got. I hope this was interesting. What I want to do now is just give you some little lightning round horoscopes that remind you of the topics of the full moon. So, in order to do that, I'm going to just back this up a little bit. We're going to go Aries through Pisces, and we're going to just remind ourselves of the location of the full moon. So you can think about the topics of this house. If you are you listen to this for your sun arising, I recommend you rising. But if you're in Aries, this is in your 11th house. It's truly social, communal, civic, maybe professional. It's about the collective and social dimension of your life. It's quintessential Aquarius 11th house.
Now, if you are a Taurus rising, it's all about your career, active leadership in the world, vocation, calling, public reputation, and the center of the full moon is raising questions in that area. If you're a Gemini, this is in the ninth house, the place of higher wisdom, truth, philosophy, spirituality, the quest for higher learning. If you are a cancer, this is about impermanence, attachments. It's about soul contracts with other living beings. It's about the relinquishment of attachments. It's about the transformation of bonds that are in your life and the reciprocal or unequal nature of those bonds and explorations happening in that sphere. If you are a Leo, it's happening in the space of relationships. It is your interpersonal relationships, love, sex, marriage. It's about changes happening in how you relate to others more personally.
If you are a Virgo, this is taking place in the sixth house, a place where you work, a place of duty, work, and the natural way that life includes sacrifice, labor, effort, things that you have to persevere through and overcome. How are you showing up in that place of sacrifice, labor, effort, and work right now? And sacrifice is can be beneficial or potentially harmful. Looking at those might be looking at the difference between those things might be useful. For Libras, we're talking about the fifth house, the place of your creative essence. Creativity and creative fulfillment lie in this house, and that is the topic of this full moon: Where does creativity lie? Children, pregnancy, and the creative legacy of your life. Let's look at Scorpio.
If you're a Scorpio rising, this full moon is taking place in the fourth house of home and family, of parents and family karma, of your dwelling place, of the private resting sphere of life of your roots and origins, the topics of domestic life. If you are a Sagittarius, then we're looking at this in the third house, a place that grounds your life in the everyday world of your psychology, your body, your immediate environment, your cognition, your thoughts, your opinions, your ideas, your voice, your communication. How are things coming up for you psychologically right now? What's on your mind? How is your mind changing? What are you learning about your own psychological makeup? These are questions that properly belong to the third house.
Now, for Capricorn and siblings could come up there too for Sagittarians. Now, for Capricorns, we're talking about the second house, a place of money, assets, resources, income, and expenditures. We're talking here about material value and effort to provide support for our lives. So, what's happening in that sphere for you if you're a Capricorn? Now, if you're an Aquarius, it's the first house, its identity, its body, its health, it's the need to change and evolve personally, and in terms of the arc of your life story, it's the character development arc. How are you changing personally? And then for Pisceans, we're talking about the 12th house, a place of potential blindness or seclusion, looking at what undermines you versus what supports you.
Looking at what's unconscious. Going to places that are secluded, taking time out from the world, going into spaces where you may not have as much control as you wish you did. Feeling undermined. Looking at what supports versus what undermines. This unconscious space. A lot of healing can come out of. So those are just some brief reminders for the 12 signs, not full-on horoscopes, but just kind of making sure you remember where that full moon is landing in your chart right now. I hope all of this has been a useful exploration today. And hey, isn't it nice that in one of the more intense moments of the year that we can see these patterns written into the stars. That for 1000s of years, when things like this have happened, we've had a way of understanding that it's natural for such things to happen.
That these tensions are not a mistake. That your life isn't a mistake in the same way. That the tensions of your life, that the ups and downs of your life, are not a mistake. That there's a kind of intelligence woven into all of it makes us feel at least makes me feel like I can trust my experience not in a way that gives me absolute certainty where I know everything how everything's happening or why it's happening, but that it's happening and that there is intelligent design present is an undeniable part of my living with life with astrology, and I hope that you get that from this channel as well. Have a great day, everyone. We'll see you again next time. Bye.
