What if the life you’ve been building was never meant to be the final destination, but just a resting point before the real journey began? We often spend years constructing a sense of self, a career, a set of relationships, only to wake up one day and find that the architecture feels too small. This week, we are standing at the precipice of just such a moment. A revolutionary solar eclipse in Aquarius is on the horizon, and it’s arriving with a thunderclap, squaring a newly direct Uranus in Taurus. This is the kind of astrology that doesn't just suggest a change of clothes, but asks you to consider a change of skin.

In this video, we explore the profound personal and collective shifts this eclipse initiates. We’ll look at how its square to Uranus acts as a sudden, creative disruption—a force that doesn't break things for the sake of breaking them, but to shake loose the parts of your life that are no longer animated by your true character. This is the "astrological week of the year," a convergence of the eclipse with the long-awaited Saturn-Neptune conjunction. It’s a time when the structures of our reality (Saturn) meet the dissolution of our illusions (Neptune), creating a unique space for genuine spiritual insight to take root.
This isn't about predicting random events. It’s about understanding the texture of the destiny you’re walking into. To help you navigate this potent threshold, we offer horoscopes for all twelve signs, looking at where this eclipse is landing in the landscape of your own birth chart. These are not fortune-telling bullet points, but archetypal maps. They point to the specific rooms in the house of your life—your career, your relationships, your beliefs, your home—that are ready for a remodel. As you listen, you’re invited to listen not for what you fear losing, but for what your soul is ready to become.
The purpose of an eclipse is not to show you a future you must passively accept, but to reveal the future that has been quietly forming within you all along. It forces the question: are you living the life you have inherited, or the life that is asking to be born through you?
Remember, the stars don't compel; they counsel. They describe the weather of our interior and exterior worlds. If you find value in exploring astrology as a language of the soul, a tool for character development rather than a script for fear, I invite you to subscribe. We’re here every day to sit with these transits together, to meditate on their meaning, and to help each other remember that even in moments of great change, we are simply being asked to become more fully ourselves.

Hey everyone. This is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology [https://nightlightastrology.com/].
Happy Monday, everybody. Today, we are going to take a look at the upcoming solar eclipse in the sign of Aquarius. It's taking place tomorrow. This is happening in a very close square to Uranus, who's just turned direct in late Taurus. So a very powerful eclipse coming in the same week when Saturn and Neptune are conjoining at zero Aries.
This is the astrological week of the year, so to speak. That doesn't necessarily mean that everything surrounding these events will happen all at once, either, and we'll talk about that before we get into things today, but we're going to give you some horoscopes today to start off, and tomorrow, we're going to explore the symbolism of the eclipse a little bit more, and then we're going to get into Saturn Neptune. We've got so much to cover this week.
As always, before we get into it, remember to like and subscribe. Share your comments, share your reflections. If you have them, you can find transcripts of any of these daily talks on the website that's nightlightastrology.com.
A couple of brief promotions for the day. In this month of February, we are coming close to our registration deadline for our retreat to Mexico. If you want to come, it's meant to be a really hands-on, transformative learning experience. It's our first retreat that we've ever taken, so really excited about it. It's happening in June. There's still room left, and it's going to be a really nice place to do some daily meditation and yoga and immerse ourselves in studying astrology. So check that out.
If you go to the live talks page, you'll also see that talks for the next couple of months are posted. This month, I'm giving a talk called "Psychedelics and Astrology: Why They So Often Intertwine." That's this Thursday night. If you want to hear a talk on why so many people who have psychedelic experiences find their way to astrology or vice versa, this is going to be a talk that I really think is one of the best things I've written in a while. I'm really excited about it. Anyway, if you can't attend that live, you'll get the recording later.
Go to Silent Sundays. Hey, did you know that every single day, Monday through Sundays, we meditate, and you can join us. It's free. Scroll down and you will see that on the Silent Sundays tab. It's really silent every day at this point, but we meet at 8:30 Central Time, 9:30 Eastern Monday through Saturdays, for about 30 minutes. We meditate for 20. I usually have just a brief centering thought that I use for us to enter into some quiet time together. And then on Sundays, we meet for a full hour, 30 minutes of meditation, followed by a time of sharing and reflections. We can kind of share what we've been processing and learning from that time spent together. I really encourage you, during this very busy time, it's really nice to develop a practice if you don't have one, or to have some accountability. And sitting with other human beings quietly is a really amazing experience. So that's free. Check that out. Hope to see you there.
Courses that just began: the Guild, the Master Class series, the third-year course, all of those classes just started. So you can check those out. And then our reading services, be sure to check those out as well. Need-based astrology readings. Those are tiered pricing so that people at different budget levels can find accessible readings. And we have a great staff of students and teachers in our programs that help with that. And then I do horary readings, in case that's interesting to you. It's a different, very specific form of astrology, but one that can do some really cool things. So check that out too.
All right, that's enough of promotions for the day. So I'm going to turn over to the real-time clock. Here we go. On the Real Time Clock, you will find that here we are on Monday. This, sorry, wrong Monday here. It's the 16th and the moon is just about ready to conjoin the sun. So we're going to go forward in some hours and move this along till we get the two planets together at around 28 degrees. That's tomorrow morning, early AM here in Minnesota. If you go forward, you know just a little bit, the moon will actually enter Pisces later tomorrow morning, and the eclipse will have just passed. So it is late tonight into tomorrow that the eclipse is taking place.
Now, one thing to keep in mind, this eclipse happening at the 28th degree is taking place just a little over one degree off from a perfect square to Uranus in Taurus, who has just turned direct. That's a big deal. This eclipse is also hosted by Saturn. Saturn has just entered its fall in Aries, where it is conjoining Neptune in just a few days. So if we fast forward from the starting point of this eclipse tomorrow, and we go to the 20th, you'll see that Saturn and Neptune conjoin while the moon is also in the sign of Aries on Friday of this week. So first couple of days, we're in eclipse territory, very Uranian eclipse. As the week progresses, as we get into the Saturn Neptune space.
So this is the week of the year. You know, it doesn't get much bigger than this in terms of the close proximity of very powerful events taking place. So, yeah, we'll be, it'll be good to unpack this together. And as always, I just hope that this is a place that you can marry your spiritual practices and spiritual life to thoughtful exploration of the astrology. Always the goal. And on that note, what I'd like to do now is let me get the eclipse on the screen here, and I would like to do some horoscopes for you, and hopefully that will give you a nice... I'm going to leave the north node of the moon in actually. You know what? I'm just going to, we'll just keep because it's out of sign anyway, so we'll just keep it like this. Okay, here we go.
So given that this is the space of the eclipse. I'm actually, I think I'm gonna back it up. Just let's go to so that way we can keep the two planets in the same sign. If I go forward too much, they will end up not being together on the screen. Okay, sorry, that was a technical note that I spoke out loud for my own brain.
Now I've got 12 whole sign horoscopes for you guys. Just what we're trying to do with horoscopes, you can listen to your sun or rising sign, either one. The rising sign will correspond with your whole sign house birth chart, which I utilize as a Hellenistic astrologer. So I always recommend it to people, because it'll be the most accurate in terms of the transiting location of your chart. If you're using Placidus or some of the other quadrant-based house systems, it may not fit, but generally speaking, most people who listen to this channel are probably Hellenistic in orientation, so a lot of folks end up listening to the rising sign for that reason. Whatever you do, whatever flips your hair back, sun or rising, give it a listen.
And remember that what we're doing in a horoscope, just so that people have a technical understanding. Imagine there's a dartboard. And what we're trying to do when we give delineations for an eclipse like this is to look at the whole sign house that shows us where the board is. To know specifically what's going to happen is almost impossible, because we're delineating this for, you know, however many thousands of people are listening. And so we're throwing like a handful of four or five... I've got four delineations, pretty much for every sign. I'm throwing four dartboards at the board. The hope is that in hearing the archetypal examples of these delineations, that one lands close to the bullseye of your experience, but you can approximate, "Oh, those themes." Extract the themes from them to get close to your lived experience. That's what you kind of have. That's kind of how you have to listen to horoscopes, because they're archetypal.
So on that note, let's begin with Aries. You have this solar eclipse. It's a north node solar eclipse taking place in your 11th house. So you're going to watch for... and the Uranian... remember, you're going to hear me use the word "sudden" a bunch. That's the Uranian: sudden disruptiveness of patterns being shaken open or awakened, or kind of a revolutionary impulse, in addition to solar eclipses bringing tremendous change. So what might you see as an Aries in the 11th? Sudden changes in friendships, groups, professional networks that may also be a part of a redirection or reorienting of long-term dreams or goals. Those are all 11th house topics. You may feel called toward a new collective purpose or sense of identity, collectively or socially. That doesn't make total sense yet, but it will, and it's going to start unfolding from this point forward. There may be specific breaks from different roles that you play in communities or groups or socially or publicly that no longer reflect your sense of who you are, and so a new self is emerging. Social changes follow, and there could also be some roles of leadership or contribution within groups or communities that appear or arise as opportunities that may come suddenly or in unexpected ways or from an unexpected need. So these are some delineations that, again, like darts on the dartboard. Hopefully one lands somewhere near what's happening for you, Aries out there.
Let's go forward to Taurus. So for Taurus, this is taking place in your 10th house. There may be some turning points with respect to your career, or the direction of your career, the narrative arc, let's say the story of your career, your public visibility. Maybe there's some disruptiveness happening around social or professional identity, a pressure to redefine what success looks like, or what you want your influence or role or identity to be. Maybe it's an awareness that the path you're on professionally is not one you want to continue carrying into the future. Or there's a new kind of future path that's starting to open from this moment forward. There could also be a sense of calling that's emerging as a kind of challenge to your sense of identity or the status quo. The reason for that being the Uranian impulse coming from your first house is sort of finishing there after a long period of time, callings that emerge and challenge your comfort or predictability. So watch for these kinds of things arising in that career house.
Now if you're... whoops, if you're a Gemini, let's back this up a little bit. This eclipse is taking place in your ninth house. So you watch for disruption of faith or beliefs or philosophy or your sense of meaning. And there could be quite radical or disruptive changes of paradigm or thought. You could have some meaningful encounters with ideas, teachings, teachers, philosophies, systems of knowledge or wisdom that destabilize certain patterns, assumptions, habits of perception and so breaking open your heart, breaking open your mind because of new wisdom. Feeling maybe pulled in a new direction that requires some kind of intellectual or spiritual risk that allows for a bigger truth than maybe one that you were holding previously. And then I would say just any breaks from inherited, traditional or familiar worldviews and questions about conformity versus authentic individuality with respect to things like beliefs and learning. Could also be something happening with respect to places, international travel or living abroad, stuff like that.
All right, so for Cancer rising, we're looking at the eighth house. And so there could be some very powerful changes taking place right now around shared resources, those dynamics of give and take in relationships. What do I provide you? What do you provide me? Which could also be about clearing debts, maybe sometimes taking on new kinds of debts, like taking out a loan, or emotional entanglements and liberation from emotional entanglements. There could be some very powerful revelations about dependency, about power or about trust. There could also be a push toward greater psychological or financial autonomy. The eighth house eclipse with Uranus can free you from things that have maybe kept you from greater self-sufficiency. Let's call it that, letting go of old attachments that limit future growth. And then anything to do with death or release of attachments that might be difficult but ultimately liberating can be found with eclipses in the eighth.
All right, let's move on to Leos, where you will have this eclipse in your seventh house. Seventh house eclipse is probably going to entail for a fair number of Leos important turning points in relationships, in partnerships that change the... excuse me, changes in relationships that alter the direction the relationship is heading in: more commitment, backing off, getting married, getting separated or divorced. So turning points in partnerships. There could also be sudden, disruptive changes or challenges that come into the life of a partner or spouse that require a shifting in commitment, or the kind of the nature of the dynamic, or contract, so to speak, that you have with another person, or the expectations of the relationship, the need to renegotiate power dynamics in relationships, or the exploration of independence versus dependence, emotionally, or you could say psychically, energetically. Also encounters with other people that catalyze really rapid, dynamic personal change. Solar eclipse is always big for Leo risings in the marriage house. It could be that you're again... for seventh house, your own identity is going to shift dramatically this year with respect to reorienting the nature of relationships.
All right, let's continue. We're going to go to Virgo rising next. Virgo sun or rising: sixth house eclipse. So the classic disruptions, with square to Uranus, to work routines and daily structures. This is like the "chop wood, carry water" house. I always say that. So the daily upkeep, the daily work, the daily grind, the daily sacrifice. How are those things changing dramatically? Are they getting easier? Is more work being loaded on your shoulders? How does this force you to reevaluate things? Eclipses in the sixth often bring wake-up calls around health, our energy, what is sustainable or viable in terms of, you know, our daily habits and patterns of self-care. Letting go of any kinds of inefficient systems that don't allow for momentum, development, progress, but keep you bogged down and feeling like you're not making progress, or you can feel sort of enslaved or entrapped in this house to things that drain you. And so are you getting deeper in the muck, or are you starting to find your way out? Either way, an impetus for change here. And then any kind of new approaches to service, labor, self-sacrifice, serving something bigger than yourself, a vision that requires some action or activism would not be uncommon here. Virgos may feel like it's time to act. It's time to do something for the sake of humanity. It's time to serve something.
Going forward to Libras, we place this eclipse in your fifth house. The fifth house is a place of joy. Everyone knows what it feels like to just be having a day where it feels like your heart's sort of overflowing, and it comes when you feel... when you feel that way, you feel aligned with yourself. This is not a cheap kind of joy, you know, chemically induced false high. We're talking about that real joy of living, and that joy, when we can find a way for it to live and breathe and move through us somewhat regularly, is a source of health, pleasure, romance, sex. You know, it's thought to be creative, connected to creative impulses, also procreative impulses like pregnancy and children. So an eclipse in this house will often bring creative breakthroughs, the need to shift what you're doing so that you feel happier, or that there's more pleasure or romance or spontaneity or playfulness in your life. A call to express yourself from the heart more joyfully, less inhibited, even if it disrupts harmony. There might be a revolution of joy taking place. Also just, if you're a parent, things happening in the lives of your children. The topic of pregnancy can come up here. And I would just say, also, maybe shifting sense of purpose with respect to creative endeavors in life. Overall, we all need a sense of creative fulfillment in life on some level. So what does that look like right now for you, Librans?
All right, Scorpios, in the fourth house. Home, family, roots. Unexpected changes around home, family, or roots. There can be pretty big shifts around our inner emotional sphere, redefining what safety and belonging mean for the future. Inner emotional awakenings that can kind of restructure what home or family looks like, or what safety and peace look like. There's a need here, maybe to literally move or relocate or do something with your physical home or property. Exploration of family trauma, ancestral history and liberation from things that... it's like moving into a different future, because suddenly the family is very different. Okay, so right at the roots there for Scorpios.
Now for Sagittarians, we're looking at the third house. I think that this has to do with a change of mind, a change in how you think, a change in how you perceive, a change in how you communicate or learn, or what you're learning. This is a great eclipse that can change mental habits, mental constructs, that can call you to speak creatively as a writer, a podcaster, a teacher. How you listen, how you speak, how you perceive is going through a powerful shift. This can also be about cognitive, neurological things, sudden insights that shift your thinking about life or about something very specific. There's also the topic like siblings or things happening in the lives of close peers that are like siblings. Sibling dynamics can shift somehow. A lot of healing can take place around eclipses here, but sometimes they come through almost like a moment of crisis or something, needing to confront something. And what's the peaceful way of doing that? You know, I think that's always the good question to ask. If something does need to be confronted, how can I do this with love in my heart?
All right, Capricorn rising places Aquarius into the second house. So we have your eclipse around things like income, money, assets, resources and material security. What supports you going forward into the future? Is there a change around things like business or money, assets, income, reliability of assets and streams of revenue? Changes in a business, if you own one, changes in how you manage money or how you earn it. But maybe there's some different ways of utilizing technology around money, finding innovative ways to enhance your business through technology. So I would also say that it's a time to redefine what it means to be self-sufficient, to be resourced for you personally. What does that mean? These are all the kinds of questions I would look at in the second house right now. Some dramatic shifts with Uranus there too. That could be quite innovative, if not a little disruptive.
But Aquarius rising in the first house, or Aquarius sun signs, either way, this is all about you. It's all about your identity. Who are you becoming? How are you changing? What are you learning? How are you growing? Letting go of outdated ideas that you have about yourself, self-image, self-worth, inhabiting your body in new and different ways, deeper ways, healthier ways, happier ways. Kind of separating who you are in a social sense from who you are in a personal sense. Sometimes that's not so easy for Aquarians, but who you are personally may or may not have any real category that can finally fit you, while also maybe further clarifying which ones do, you know. But yeah, maybe you're going to be propelled into spaces of greater visibility or leadership, or maybe it's time to start something. Those are all first house kinds of things as well.
Finally, let's go to Pisces. Pisces rising puts the eclipse into the 12th house. Now that can bring sudden endings or closures that kind of clear karmic space. This is a Moksha house, so lots of unconscious stuff that can come up and we can actually be liberated from, we can let go of, because when planets come into this house, they start shining a spotlight on things we maybe don't have an easy time seeing. And spiritual or psychological awakening can redirect destiny when we allow unconscious material to become conscious. With the 12th house eclipse, we may be also sort of prepping for something that's gestating behind the scenes. Things in the 12th house are in a kind of liminal space that will gradually take shape and inform our future direction, our future self. But that is something that you can't... it's almost like contractions before labor, but not the real contraction. Braxton Hicks, that's what I always use. So, you know, something might be gestating behind the scenes. You can feel it, but you might be riding that for like a whole year and a half of eclipses in that house, where the things that are stirring, that are somewhat invisible, don't necessarily need you to do anything with them, other than to try to sit with them, feel them, let them come up, let them be seen. And actions that come from that process are typically a lot better than feeling something stirring and then rushing to do something when it's not yet time. And that's kind of the Braxton Hicks analogy, like it's thinking you're ready to go to labor and you're not quite there. 12th house years for eclipses can be like that. So just stick with a process that's happening behind the scenes. Great time for meditation, prayer, yoga, a little bit of a retreat side of life that you could maybe bring more of... you know, what am I trying to say? Solitude. Bring more solitude into your life, or bring more quiet time or reflective spaces, contemplative spaces. It's going to be really good for Pisces right now.
All right, those are my eclipse horoscopes for you. Let's take a look at what's on the altar. I forgot last week. I am so sorry. I realized that at the end of the week, I was like, I did not look at what was on the altar. So here's what's on my altar this week. Let's see if I can get over there. Yeah, you're gonna see it says "Cup of Calm." So we've been, obviously, you guys know we're here in Minneapolis, and my wife Ashley, who most of you have probably met before on the channel, is an herbalist. She has her master's degree in clinical herbal medicine. And Nightlight has been taking funds from our business and contributing with Ashley's effort through a group of herbalists that she belongs to, and they've been gathering care packages with different kinds of herbs that can help people who are scared and dealing with anxiety, who are not coming out of their homes in Minneapolis due to the presence of ICE.
Right now, for a lot of people, it's a real terrifying thing, including people who clean our home office. We have cleaners that come clean our home office space, because we have a home office space connected. It's above our garage, and so we have cleaners that come every couple weeks. And when they were here, they had to hide their car in our garage. They asked if they could, and they couldn't clean. We had to wait a month, you know, because of the cycle or whatever, for them to come back. And because they weren't leaving their homes. And these are people who, you know, they are documented in everything too. So a lot of people here who are really scared of what's been happening. And I just... It doesn't matter if you're documented or not, in my opinion, we don't need to have people so afraid. So we've been doing what we can. It's a little thing, but we've been donating some funds from Nightlight to help Ashley and some herbalists gather herbs, and they've been also gathering herbal donations from the herbal community and creating these really nice care kits that are meant to help people find a little room for their nervous systems.
There are many different ways of helping. We've given some money to helping people cover rent through Nightlight. And, you know, just want to make you guys aware of what we're doing to help our community here in Minneapolis. And this week, on the altar, I'm just thinking of all the people right now who's, of course, our local community, but also, like the whole world, I feel like is a little... you know, there's some trauma, right? And it's existing for so many different reasons. But I put this "Cup of Calm" box here because I think it's, you know, it's the little things that we do to try to care for each other, care for our neighbors with love. And I think... I don't know, like when I was a kid, you know, the most basic emblem in my life for being neighborly, and I grew up in Minnesota, was... I was really raised on Mr. Rogers. I know you guys, it's kind of corny, but like in my heart of hearts, I'm just like, where's our neighborliness? You know, regardless of if we agree or not with each other, there's no reason to do anything with so much hate and fear.
So anyway, our little way of trying to help out has been, Ashley has been building these care kits and trying to distribute them here with a group of, I think, very, very sweet, very sweet herbalists. And we need our witchy women out there who, you know, from all over the world for thousands of years, have known the kind of wisdom that heals and soothes and brings compassion and peace. We need that. I think of that Jupiter in Cancer right now in the sky, and what a year for Jupiter to be in Cancer. It seems almost like the opposite of what you would imagine happening with Jupiter in Cancer, but I'm reminded of Minnesota. There is a huge amount of Jupiter in Cancer taking place with care, love, protection, safety of our neighbors. So anyway, just wanted to mention that.
And I hope you guys are having a really good day, a safe day, a sweet and grounded day, as much as you can with the eclipse coming. Take good care, protect your serenity. Do what you can to help those around you that you're called to serve and know that you have a space here that's meant to help you process these energies and events in, you know, in a way that can add a little depth. We can see, like to me, the astrology helps us not only process these things, and that's also why the meditation is there. Come meditate with us. Come sit with us. You know, it's a simple thing, and it feels really good, but it's also that the astrology helps us hold that these challenges that we're living through are a part of the soul's destiny, you know, a part of our collective destiny, to face these shadows and to work through them together.
So anyway, I hope you're having a good day again and that these horoscopes were useful. Take care, everyone. Bye.

Thank you to you, Ashley and the Herbalist group for doing what you can to help. It is so distressing hearing what is going down in America.
Debbie
Greetings from Russia. I live in Tyumen, a Siberian town. I started reading your website and your astrological articles respond to me, I have basic knowledge. By the way, for the last week I have been drinking a mixture of motherwort herbs 40%, hops 20%, mint 15%, valerian 15% and licorice 10%, it soothes well. If there is a storm around you, you can use pine essential oil for protection – it is a good protector.
On the topic of the eclipse, we never forget to dream and make a wish, the energy of this day is very powerful!
And I wish to live in my own large and beautiful house, on the coast! 😉
Sincerely, Alexander
