Hey everyone. This is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology [https://nightlightastrology.com/].
Merry Christmas if you are celebrating today, Happy Holidays to everyone who's out there. If you're not celebrating, just glad to be here with you today. And a special episode, I'm going to take a look at the most beneficial transits of 2026 today. I feel like this is a perfect time to reflect as we approach the New Year.
If you are celebrating Christmas today, it's a hopeful day for a lot of people, sometimes a day that we can lose ourselves in the chaos the consumerism. I thought to myself, the best content for the day is going to be a hopeful look at the year ahead.
So what I have for you today are about seven or eight transits that I think are subjectively the best, most beneficial, most blessed, luckiest, whatever you want to call it, transits of 2026 I'll tell you what they are. I'll tell you when they're happening. I'll tell you why I think they're special. So I hope that you will enjoy this.
Before we get into it as always, don't forget to like and subscribe. It really helps us grow tremendously. You can find transcripts of any of these daily talks on the website, which is Nightlight astrology.com.
Right now, we are coming down to the wire with our annual Kickstarter campaign. We have just one week left in our campaign to reach our goal of 2043 backers by New Year's Eve, we still have hundreds and hundreds of backers to go. So this is it. This is really crunch time for us.
We need anyone who's followed our work, who watches the channel, who values and appreciates what we do on this channel, if you feel inspired by this work, if you learn something about astrology, if this is a place of companionship, joy, laughter and meaning for you that you consider supporting us in the year ahead.
All of the content on our channel every year is backed by our audience. That's how I earn my living. That's how I support a staff now at this point, of 12 people, including a full time Social Media Manager. All of this is made possible because of you.
So if you've been meaning to support the project if you've been waiting for the right moment, or if you've benefited from this channel. This is the moment we really need it right now. With our last push here in the final week, I'm going to take you over to the Kickstarter campaign and just tell you how you can donate.
You'll find the link to the Kickstarter pinned to the top of the comment section of today's poster in the description of the video. When you get there, you can scroll down, and on the right you're going to see going to see all the rewards that are available.
Easily, the best rewards we offer are the discounts on our class bundles. So if you want to come study with us, if you bundle 234, of our programs together, those never expire. You can use them whenever you want in 2026 and beyond, to come and study in any of our programs.
There are new yearly programs every year. Through the guild and our Master Class series, we have four years worth of professional development curriculum that's the same every year but has different entry points throughout each calendar year.
So check all of that out at the end of today's video again, there's an additional video tag down that will tell you about all the rewards. We also have the astrology of 2026 talk horoscopes for the year ahead, a ton of really cool rewards that we try to give back as a way of saying thank you.
But anyway, so head over there, donate, choose a reward back the channel. We really need it now. Now is the big push. We have just days left, and we really need your support to meet our goals. So thank you so much to everyone who's already donated. By the way, a lot of people already have. Thank you.
From my heart, from me, my family, my staff, we all deeply appreciate you. You are a part of what makes all that we do also very financially accessible. Throughout the year, the Kickstarter goes off well as a sale for all of all the things that we offer.
And therefore, we're able throughout the year to offer sliding scale tuition to people who are really hurting financially. That's because of the support of the Kickstarter campaign. So thank you guys so much.
All right. Well, on that note, I cannot wait to get into these transits, because I think it's easy when we start thinking about a year ahead. I know that I'm guilty of this. I just go right for all right, where's the juiciest drama, what Saturn, Neptune and Aries? Oh, shit.
You know we have, we have a way of just going right for the jugular. And I understand why. I'm not immune to this myself. I want to know what's the evolutionary homework here. Get me right into the gritty stuff. Let's not be flowery. I don't need good luck. I need to grow, you know.
And I appreciate that a lot of people here are interested in growth. They're not interested in fluffy, Lucky transits that give you, you know, something from the cosmic claw machine. Like, ooh, look, I got a crappy, $3 stuffy like, give me give me growth, give me depth, give me real. And I like that.
But isn't it nice to know that there's support, real, support baked into every single year? These are, to me, the most beneficial conditions in the year ahead. I'm just going to pop the real time clock up on the on the screen, and I'm going to tell you what they are. So let's, let's get into it.
I want to meant also say this isn't meant to be definitive or exhaustive. Other astrologers could emphasize different transits, different concerns. This is my own eye in the sky, the benefic currents that I'm watching most closely, and the places that I think the year genuine, genuinely offers encouragement, renewal, support, and again, I think that's appropriate for Christmas, because hope doesn't come from pretending that things are easy. It comes from noticing when grace is moving, you know, even in the midst of difficulty.
So let's walk through this year together on the channel. That's my hope always, that this will be a place where you can walk the path in community with guidance and humor and a way of celebrating symbol in the midst of the ups and downs. But let's start here, January, 6 to the 11th.
Venus will be cazimi in Capricorn. This is it begins the year begins with something perhaps subtle, but very meaningful and very positive. Venus is at the heart of the Sun in the early part of January, just in the next couple of weeks, cazimi moments are moments of rebirth.
When a planet is seated on the throne of the sun, it's purified, it's clarified, it receives a form of renewal. Something essential is getting reset for Venus. I think this is really important, because this cazimi marks a turning point in her Synodic Cycle. She's moving out of her morning star phase, which can be sharper, more assertive, even a little bit combative.
Traditionally, Venus in her morning star phase was often a proclamations of war were made, or declarations of war. But returning to her Evening Star phase, Venus is far more comfortable expressing harmony, reconciliation, attraction.
So this right now to me, at the beginning of January feels like a quiet reset of Venus's life force right at the beginning of the year. Now in Capricorn, I think that renewal is very mature and grounded at its best. It's not about romance in the abstract. It's about commitments that last.
It's about values that are earned through time and relationships or resources or creative processes that are built carefully and intentionally that have the power to endure. When you think of a craftsman who makes something with their hands out of wood, and you receive that thing, and it lasts to me, that's kind of a Venus and Capricorn image.
So things that are being established like right now have the power to endure. And last, there's a reset for Venus that promises a greater depth of wisdom and maturity. And I think that's a fantastic way to start the year.
So wherever Capricorn falls in your chart, and we're going to be doing horoscopes in January for this reset, by the way, so you'll get those this period suggests that something Venusian is being restructured in the Capricornian area of your chart, realigned with things that really matter to you.
May be stripped of excessiveness and strengthened for a long, enduring process ahead. And I think that is a deeply hopeful signature in the new year almost immediately. So that is the January 6 to 11th, Venus cazimi.
Let's move on. In February comes another period of time that I really like. Speaking of that Venus cazimi. Venus's cazimi will be followed by Venus appearing as evening star. That's always the process of the Synodic Cycle.
Right around February 22 we see Venus in the sign of Pisces, where she is exalted trining Jupiter exalted in the sign of cancer, two benefics, both in signs of exaltation, joined by a Trine, an aspect of Jupiter's own nature.
What makes this especially compelling again is that Venus is finally becoming clear and visible as the Evening Star, after her cazimi rebirth, following this Trine in the weeks ahead, Venus comes out of invisibility and into her glory as an evening star.
And so to me, this feels like the there is something very hopeful, very supportive that becomes tangible and visible. Water signs, of course, are about things like nourishment, emotional safety, memory, healing, care. To me, this Trine suggests a moment when support is going to be flowing or flowing more easily than it has been.
Resources can appear emotional or spiritual. Relief arrives. Allies step forward, sometimes quietly or unexpectedly. Exalted benefics are exalted benefics are planets that are trying to bring they're, they're, they're trying to do good. They're trying, you can, you can put it that way, they're trying to bring about things that are subjectively good or that represent a real care and concern for well being.
And so I think this moment suggests buoyancy, maybe after heaviness, encouragement after fatigue, as. Sense that something is quietly gathering momentum and is ready to show itself in your life as a form of support, success, healing.
So if there's something that's been nurtured in private, emotionally, creatively, this is a moment where you might start seeing it gain momentum and come out into a more visible space, or a more a fruiting phase where it's ready to be gathered and harvested.
That's not just February 22 but in the weeks that follow after their Trine. So I love that. I think it's one of the most benefic connections of the year now, April 23 to about May 8. This is a really interesting period of time. I almost didn't put it in the list because I was like, Ooh, I don't know it's a little it's a little tricky, but let me just show you.
So we're going to get to in this range. You can see that what's happening is Venus in her own domicile of Taurus as the Evening Star now, just glorious in her Evening Star phase and her own rulership. Love it, but she's coming into contact with anaretic Uranus in Taurus.
That's happening late April, and then subsequently, what happens is the two planets together after they can join around April 23 Venus goes into Gemini, and then a couple of days later, Uranus goes into Gemini.
So the reason that I think this is benefic Uranus always brings disruption, right? But disruption is not the same thing as destruction, and I think especially that is the case when Venus is strong. This is what I would call an excitation of Venus.
It's like a stirring or a wake up call for desire, creativity, relationships, values, pleasures that maybe have grown stagnant or overly familiar. Now it's time to things are like ready to go. I think there's a sense of culmination, something reaching a tipping point.
Venus, again, is very strong in her own sign seems to be ushering Uranus forward, saying, let's try something new, maybe let's do it more intelligently, or let's try some new ideas. Let's try some new technologies or approaches.
But the Venus Uranus combination here, given the anaretic nature of Uranus, the strength of Venus, she's in her great morning Evening Star phase, they switch into Gemini together. This feels surprising, liberating, maybe a little destabilizing, but also that freshness and curiosity and renewal that I've come to love about this combination beauty and connection need movement in order to stay alive and fresh, and this, to me, could give that at its best.
So I'm not saying this might not carry some destabilizing energy with it, but I like this. I think this is for a lot of people are going to experience this as very invigorating for Venus now, June 9, we're going to go forward just a little bit here, and I think this is maybe one of the sweetest transits of the year.
This will be Venus and Jupiter getting together in the sign of cancer. So you can see them right here, conjoining in cancer. It happens around June 9. It feels like a warm blanket. Honestly, cancer is, of course, about home, family, ancestry, protection, emotional sensitivity, belonging, devotion to Me.
When you bring them together, here, you get an overwhelming sense of nourishment, fertility, generosity, care, devotion, sustenance, the feeling that someone or something is watching over us, that we're bonded, that we're connected. It's like secure emotional attachment.
It's romantic and sweet and sensitive. There's an echo here too. Remember that Venus and Jupiter came together in late summer of 2025 in the northern hemisphere, and I think it was August. So something that maybe came together around that time is being fully realized.
I'll give you a simple example. We started putting our retreat on sale for Mexico, for the Oracle within retreat that we're taking in Mexico in June. Can still sign up on the website if you want to join us. There's still about 20 spots available come with us, but that was formed and put on the website and put on sale as Venus and Jupiter came together in cancer.
They're reconnecting while we'll be on the retreat in Mexico in early June. I look at that and I go, Well, perfect. You know, there's something very aligned, and probably there'll be a pretty sweet bonded feeling among that group. I would imagine we'll see.
But anyway, this is a moment that reminds us, you're held life's got you. I think this is our better angels kind of transit. So let's go on on June 30, right about the end of the month of June, Jupiter is going to enter Leo.
Now, immediately, as Jupiter enters Leo, Venus is also co present in Leo. So even though they aren't. Conjoined by degree. This matters, because Jupiter's entering a new sign, a new whole sign house. Venus is present in that house. When Jupiter enters, imagine that you enter a brand new home that you've purchased.
You're very excited. It's a starter home. It's your first house ever. And you get in and you find that it's fully furnished. The previous owners maybe left a bunch of really nice furniture there for you.
That's kind of like, maybe it's an imperfect analogy, but it's like Jupiter's walking into a house, and it's just there's already the goddess of good fortune just in that house when Jupiter enters. So Jupiter in Leo is going to start a new chapter for all of us in Jupiter's in our birth charts, moving into the whole sign house of Leo, bringing its focus on growth, wisdom, development, blessings, fertility, all Jupiter things, expansion, right?
But Venus being there suggests the opening tone of this shift of Jupiter into Leo is uplifting. It's encouraging. It's life and affirming. It's not that the year is going to be free of challenges, but it begins with a kind of goodwill, pleasure and inspiration for Jupiter entering Leo. And I love that. Feel like that really bodes well for this shift of Jupiter.
Now, late July. This is another one where I was like, Ooh, I don't know if I should talk about it or not, but let's let's just do it. So late July, Jupiter in Leo will oppose Pluto in Aquarius.
Now this is the one transit on the list that might surprise people, because, yeah, Jupiter and Pluto can surface as power struggles, ego inflation, excessiveness, the dark side of power and fame and blah, blah, blah, but Pluto the word Pluto, Pluto's name literally means riches, buried treasure, latent potential, unseen wealth.
So Jupiter, in Leo, opposite Pluto, invites us to look honestly at how power, creativity and abundance are expressed. Where are we afraid of growth? Where are we hoarding? Where does life want to expand? But we've been resisting it.
So if this transit is handled consciously, this can be a very empowering moment, one that asks us to grow without domination and claim deeper, abundant success without fear or anxiety. This is the kind of moment where you could be realizing I'm I'm I'm capable of more success or capable of deeper victories, morally, spiritually, in my business life and my relationships than I thought I was.
It can be very empowering now that this is probably the only transit where you could really see some shadows coming up around this. But let's not forget that Jupiter opposite Pluto can come when people are ready to grow exponentially and receive exponentially a deeper, more sustaining, realer form of abundance.
So very powerful transit, maybe the most controversial on my list. But yeah, I can't wait to break this one down later in the year. Now, in August, there's another moment that is really interesting here.
There's a benefic enclosure. So it happens as Venus sends her Rey on this side of Saturn, and Jupiter is also let me, oops, sorry, let me go back here. I'm just need to go back like a day. Yeah? So, so it's very brief, but there's this little window of time where we have both been. It's not, technically, it's not like, oh whoops guys. I am just messing this up all sorts of ways. Here we go.
Yeah, so here is the enclosure. What you're going to see is, this is about August 21 I put the wrong date on the screen. I apologize. I was like, Why did I mess this up? Okay, Venus comes through the opposition to Saturn, and as soon as she's passed the opposition to Saturn, which could be a very intense moment, but Venus is well dignified. Saturn is not.
And as soon as she does, she casts her Ray on this side of Saturn, while Jupiter casts its Ray behind Saturn. And suddenly, in late August, you have Saturn enclosed by the benefics. Now it's a fallen Saturn in Aries that might be one of the more difficult planets of the year, right?
So this is important, because when the when the benefics are harmonized through a sextile, and then they're enclosing Saturn, right after a Venus Saturn opposition, this is a difficult contact between Venus and Saturn that follows by a benefic enclosure of Saturn. It's a very specific signature.
This, to me, feels like something that has been difficult, being sort of like quarantined or put in a place where it can no longer be as difficult. It's like responsibility, finally getting reinforcement effort, being met with encouragement. Than punishment, something that's been difficult, receiving help, something that's been problematic, being put into a space or place where it can't trouble you as much.
The challenge doesn't disappear, but it becomes more workable, and something like this could really make a difference in the progression of Saturn in Aries this year. So I'm watching for this late August moment where it feels like there's a real intense encounter with Saturn in Aries that the benefic seem to like be able to overcome.
So, you know, that's just a very specific nuance, where I feel like the benefics have the upper hand with Saturn. And I think it's maybe one of the more helpful moments of the year, not without difficulty, but helpful.
All right. Finally, November 14 to the 28th last one of the year. On my list to talk about this is the period of time in which Venus's retrograde has taken her back into Libra. And from mid November all the way through late November, she is, well, there's the big arrow. She is working in a sextile to Jupiter.
And so what I really find interesting about and she's also sextile in Mars. Mars and Jupiter are coming together, but they have the sextile from Venus that's forming mid to late November feels like a time where there's a where there's a will, there's a way, Mars Jupiter.
But pair that with diplomacy, tact, harmony and relational care, sensitivity. So again, the benefics are harmonizing. Mars is in the mix, so it's a very strong transit, but like there's a lot of grace and harmony to help it that to help the Mars Jupiter dynamic move along without being too much.
So effective use of will, authority, power, leadership that has harmonization like at its back. I like this, even aside from that, it's just the benefics kind of getting together. Stations slow time, they invite reflection, they allow us to feel something really deep.
And I think you could see restoration of balance, reconciliation, renewed joy. It's graceful. It's it's just a graceful little period of time for Venus and Jupiter again. So All right, guys, those are, I think, the reasons that we have to be most hopeful you know about about the year ahead.
I hope that for your Christmas Day, if you're celebrating today, that this was uplifting and gives you something to be hopeful about. There's nothing it's not illegal to be hopeful. It would be, in my book, it would be illegal to be unrealistic, to, you know, fly around thinking that we're only here to look for good luck.
But good luck also exists. Grace also exists. Good fortune, our higher angels. These things are real too, and it's important to take a moment to recognize like this year is going to be good. We're going to have some support, we're going to learn, we're going to grow. There's going to be difficulties, but there are always benefic transits as well.
So I hope that this meets you wherever you're at today, whether you're celebrating Christmas or not, obviously happy holidays, please. We are almost we have just seven days left. We really need your support.
