What if an eclipse does not end when the sky clears? What if its story keeps unfolding in your life, quietly, across months?
In this podcast episode, I show you how to track the reactivation of eclipses after they occur — especially the Leo and Pisces eclipses of August.
We look at dates, meanings, and simple tools from Hellenistic astrology: watching planets cross the eclipse degree, the whole sign house, and the Moon’s return.
You’ll hear a personal example of how an eclipse on my ascendant ruler opened a door I did not expect. You do not need to chase meaning. Stay consistent, and the pattern will reveal itself.

Hey everyone. This is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology [https://nightlightastrology.com/].
Today, I am going to give you some tips for how to track the reactivation of eclipses after they have occurred. We have several very powerful reactivations of this August's eclipses in Leo and Pisces that are about to take place in the next month or so. I'm going to tell you what those are, why they will show up in probably some pretty big ways.
I'll give you the dates, explain the meanings, and also give you some tips for tracking these things in general and a few examples. So I think this will be good because we're kind of riding the eclipse wave coming out of August, and a lot of us are going to notice that the effects of those eclipses play out over months, not just within the days or weeks.
So, yeah, I think this will be a good use of our time today. Before we get into it, remember to like and subscribe, share your comments and reflections, give us that little thumbs up. We're almost to 100,000 subscribers as the time at at the time that I'm making this.
So, hopefully, we could get there soon with your help. Transcripts of any of these daily talks can be found on the website. That's nightlightastrology.com, and when you are over there, let us highlight a few things.
First of all, we are in enrollment season for our first year course, Ancient Astrology for the Modern Mystic. Click on that first year course tab. It'll take you over to the page. You can learn everything that you need to know about the program there.
There's an informational video that is tagged on to the end of every daily piece of content between now and the start of the class on November 14th. So if you ever want to, you can stick around and listen to that at the end. You can just sign off if not.
And the early bird is in effect right now, which means you save significantly. Our cost of courses are going up slightly in the year ahead, so whether it's now or the Kickstarter, it's a good time to save on our programs before the end of 2026.
We also have need-based tuition assistance, so if you need some help to make the program happen, you're on fixed or limited income, check out the need-based tuition. Allows you to pick within a sliding scale. We want to make sure people aren't priced out of studying a sacred topic.
Book a reading with me under the readings tab. This service allows you to tell me what you want if it's a year ahead, or if it's just a basic birth chart reading, or if there's a specific topic or predictive question. Fill out the form.
Let me know. I'll do that work for you. There's also horary readings and then need-based astrology readings with our staff. Affordable pricing. If you can't afford my readings, check those out. All good stuff. My under the shop page, my books.
The Audible version of my book is out now. The Oracle Speaks in Audible form. You can just click on the audio book link and pick it on Amazon. I've gotten some good feedback on all from all of you who've listened to it.
I narrated it personally, which was fun. If you go to events, there is a meeting to introduce you to the retreat on Sunday, the 27th at 330 Eastern. It's free to join. It's an informational meeting about our retreat in Minneapolis next August.
The early bird sale for this ends in early October, so it's a good time to take advantage of it. You want to come learn more about the program. It's a training in divination and developing your relationship with the Oracle.
We had an absolutely awesome time in Mexico this summer, so check that out. And then finally, every day at Nightlight is free meditation. The mornings, check the community quiet tab, and you can join us if if that's something that would be a benefit to you.
Totally free. All right, well, let's flip over to Nichepsos, our software program affiliate discount code of 20% off is in the description or the comments section if you want to get a good discount on this awesome software program. All right, well, the reason that this is on my mind is because as of today, Thursday, september 24, the moon is in Pisces.
And that moon in Pisces is now revisiting the place of its lunar eclipse, which took place around august 27. There's a general principle in astrology that applies to eclipses, which is that eclipses generally play out over the course of a year to year and a half as the nodes of the moon move through signs in which the same type of eclipses will recur: solar or lunar eclipses in the same signs or sign sign pairs.
Where the nodes right now are in Leo in Aquarius, but they're just there, so we had an out of sign Pisces eclipse, and you will get sort of out of sign eclipses, but they'll typically be in recurring places for about a year to year and a half.
As that is happening, there are two general rules of thumb that I want to encourage you to keep track of. One is that things rarely happen all at once on the actual day of an eclipse. The day of an eclipse is sort of like the first domino falling over in a sequence that may piggyback on subsequent eclipses in the same sign, and then on the other hand, the eclipses may take a couple of moon cycles to sort of.
Fan out their energy, their meaning, and the direction that your life is taking relative to the eclipses. Again, may take at least several moon cycles, if not the subsequent series of eclipses continuing to develop a story.
So you have to kind of play the long game with eclipses. Now, sometimes right on eclipses, really wild shit does happen. It it can and it does. But I I want to give you a story, and I hope that this story will be useful.
Oh wait, what am I doing? No, I didn't get to part two. Part two, which is the whole purpose, it's the whole purpose of this talk. My head's in the clouds. Is that the other way that you can meaningfully track eclipses, especially in the first couple of months right after an eclipse and before the next eclipses?
Watch for planets going across the degree of the eclipse, or watch for the moon going across the degree of the eclipse. When that happens, you will often get almost like the next step, or the next phase, or an echo, or a piece of little connective tissue that takes you further in the direction that the eclipse intended.
So what I want to do is give you because there's a number of very powerful examples of this happening soon, and I'm going to share share with you a story. So I'm going to take. Let me get my Nicchetso back in time really quick before I don't want to subject you to looking at it twist and turn a million different ways.
Okay, so here we go. All right, so the eclipse that happened on. Let's go back to the the eclipses actually first. Now I'm going to submit you to it, but I'll go by week. Okay, so we go to august 12, and on august 12 we had a solar eclipse at about 20 degrees of Leo.
If you had planets around 20 degrees of Leo, this is going to be bring more powerful changes, generally speaking. Now I happen to have my ascendant ruler Venus in the fourth house in my natal chart of a Taurus rising that places Venus and Leo in my fourth.
Let me give you an example of how this works. I was I knew for a while. Wow, this one's going to rock me. It's going to land right on my ascendant ruler in the fourth house. On that day of the eclipse, I not on purpose.
Just I just knew that it was time to go to music school. So very, very solar eclipse, which opens kind of a new door chapter right on Venus, my ascendant ruler, and saying, "I love music. I want to study music.
So that felt like okay. Well, that's it. You know, like you know, thank God. Oh no, there was more. So then, I want to take you forward to the Pisces eclipse. Then on the Pisces eclipse, which was the 27th of August, that lunar eclipse, My wife woke us up at night.
We all went out and looked at the eclipse right over our house. The next morning, we decided to look at a house out in the country, relatively speaking, a lot quieter, a little bit more like land and countryside. And this is Ashley's dream is to get out of the suburbs.
So okay, and we look at it, and this was like just kind of opening our minds to if there would ever be anything we liked. It wasn't like serious shopping. We're gonna move. It was just like let's just go see this house.
Looks really cool. Well, she absolutely fell in love with it, it's what a lateral move for us, which means it's the exact same. Like it's it's our it's the same basic budget that our life would take on with this house.
So it's just a lateral move. It was like okay, well we could do it. Okay, shit. I guess we're I guess we're doing it. So and it it happened like that, but it felt very eclipsy that we would all be standing out under this eclipse over our house, and the next morning we would be making an offer on a house and then processing the starting to get our house ready to put on the market.
Right? Wild. Well, then what I want to reiterate for you is just how powerful it can be when a planet goes across the the same space, so here's the moon moving across 20 degrees of Leo on Tuesday, september 8.
This was a couple weeks ago now, as you're listening to this, and this was the day upon. Which we, you know, because there's some back and forth, right? You go through inspection and all this stuff, but this was the day where all of the possible things were done.
So, you know, unless something really wild were to happen, this was sort of like a marker of like, no, you you are moving. You you've come to terms on all of the important things. They've accepted your offer. You've gone through the inspection, the back and forth, and so forth.
So now you're under contract, right? That day of agreement occurred as the moon was crossing the eclipse marker. So it's just a simple example, right? But powerful, quite quite powerful, quite quite potent. So that's why we look at these things.
Just in short, as a story. Now, what I want to show you is how you can pay attention. Remember, you want to track the whole sign house of Leo, the whole sign house of Pisces, and so forth.
Interestingly, the person in our family having definitely the the biggest like emotional response to moving, even though she's excited, is my younger daughter whose moon is in Pisces, and moon received the eclipse, so she's like a lot more attached.
Moon in Pisces, anyhow. So we're we're all processing this together as a family, all really excited. But you know, it's hard. There's memories in places that you live. So let's show you what's coming up, though, because holy cow, do we have some big ones starting today with the moon in Pisces.
So the first thing that I I just want to emphasize is that the reason that I'm doing this is because today would be a very good day for you to get a feel for what we're talking about. The moon is in Pisces crossing the eclipse degree of that lunar eclipse, and so today is a day in which you may notice some of the promise of the eclipse manifesting.
That could come in a wide variety of different ways, maybe subtle or big, but pay attention. Now, this is a minor one compared to what follows. On september 28, we get a massive activation of the eclipse degree.
Watch. If I take this forward to the 28th, what's going to happen all the way from the 28th through October 9th, we're going to have Jupiter within one degree of the eclipse. That's plenty. So we're going to take Jupiter in Leo, and Jupiter in Leo is going to move all the way through into that 20th degree.
I give it to the 9th to kind of fully go through that 20th degree. So we're giving it 19 and 20 just to keep it pretty tight within one degree of the exact eclipse, which was like early 20.
So that's a big activation of the eclipse promise, and many people are going to notice that the eclipse doesn't seem to hit exactly at the time of the eclipse. But when this happens, you're going to notice that a lot of the manifestation of the eclipse occurs because this is a very significant planet hitting the eclipse degree very close in proximity to that solar eclipse.
So that's everything. Now, specifically within that window, watch for october 6. The reason you want to watch for October 6 is that on that day, you will have Jupiter on the eclipse degree and the moon at the same time.
This will be effectively one of the biggest, brightest moments of the eclipse sort of manifesting its potential because it's Jupiter activating the eclipse degree and the moon returning at the same time. So, if I had to choose between the 28th to the ninth, which days will be most most powerful?
It would be probably the fifth and the sixth when the moon is in Leo, because then you have a doubling up. See what I'm saying? So, watch for those days. Mark your calendars. You'll learn a lot about astrology, and you'll notice probably there that you'll start to learn the more more about how to track and feel and notice what eclipses are actually doing.
All right, October 21, we go forward to the 21st of October, and we're going to note that the moon is back in Pisces. Now, this again is it the biggest transit in the world? No. However, one of the things that's really interesting is that as the moon is crossing the eclipse degree on Wednesday, october 21, it's also picking up a trine to that Venus retrograde, which is just clearing the square to Pluto.
What does this mean? It means that the promise of the lunar eclipse, wherever it landed in your chart, is tagging into the Venus retrograde and the Venus square Pluto dynamic, and that is that's going to make that reactivation of the eclipse a lot more potent.
So that's why again it's on my list today. It's one you should. Definitely track and pay attention to see what happens. You'll learn a lot more about eclipses. Finally, november 2, and this this is another huge one.
Let's go forward to november 2 on my screen. Now on november 2 we have Mars. Mars and the Moon in Leo are going to get together at that 19th degree. This means that we have another major slow-moving planet in Mars, definitely heavier, weightier planet going across the eclipse degree alongside of the Moon.
This has a feeling of execution behind it. Let's do something. Let's act upon something. If the eclipse is going to bring any adversity, it would probably be around here. Or if it's going to bring some kind of finality or moment of acting and executing a plan or an ambition or standing up for something or yeah, some moment of real strong action relative to the eclipse and its potential.
The moon on the same in the same space is only reiterating the same thing. Now, if we give it a little bit broader orb, let's say we go from Sunday, november 1, when Mars will move on to that 19th degree.
Let's take it all the way through the 20th degree. That gets us to about november 5. So you could be a little bit broader with Mars in that range, though. november 2 is the big one because the Moon and Mars in Leo will be together.
Now, my other tip for tracking this is pretty simple. If you want to know what the eclipse is pointing to in general, there are two factors. One is the Holstein house and its topics in your chart.
The Holstein House is your horoscope house. If you don't use Holstein houses, it would be if you're using your rising sign horoscope in your chart. That that's going to be if it's Leo, it's going to be wherever the Leo whole sign house is relative to your whole sign rising sign chart.
So you can calculate your chart that way to see see it from this perspective. Even if you use Placidus, just look at it from this perspective to help you simplify the interpretation. The second, and and so Pisces would be the other one.
You're going to take a look at the whole sign house of Pisces and track that. Now the third thing, or the the next big consideration, I should say, is did it hit a planet, right? 18 to 21.
Is there a planet at 18 to 21 of Leo? Is there a planet at three to six degrees of Pisces, or in squares or opposition within the same degree range. So, is there if it's Leo?
You know, do you have planets at 19 to 21 Aquarius, Scorpio, or Taurus? If it's Pisces, then four to six, you know, Gemini, Sag, or Virgo. Those for those people, note the placement of the planet that's getting activated and the nature of that planet because that is likely to play a significant role in the manifestation.
But the simplest thing is to just note the whole sign house of Leo and Pisces. Okay, so we are hopefully more equipped now for some very powerful reactivations to come, and you can notice today with the Moon in Pisces what is manifesting.
That is what I've got for you today-a simple little lesson. Also, admittedly, because there are people in my house packing stuff and moving stuff right now. Boy, that was so unexpected. I was not anticipating.
I mean, it's like I should have been like, gosh, an eclipse on my ascendant ruler in my fourth house. Maybe we'll move, but I just didn't think we would be moving until my wife was like, "What if we looked at some places out in the country that are like you know our same budget, and I was like, "I get we could.
I mean, I'm kind of like I could, I could like live and die in this house. I'm fine. She really wants to be like where she can't hear cars, you know, and not like in I don't know, you know how the suburbs are if you live in them.
I'm like, it's it's a first world problem, as they say, but definitely my wife is. She is happy in nature. She is happiest, like in the woods. So she wanted to get out there, and we found a place that's like nicely in the quiet and peace of the countryside.
And it's still like not so far where you can't. Like we'll easily be able to still drive the kids to school, and it's just it adds a little bit of time. But honestly, I didn't think I would care.
But then when I was out there and I felt my nervous system go down, I was like, man, I understand why people want to live off grid. You know, I understand why people want to move out to the country the way that they.
I don't think I ever really had that impulse in me. But then when my wife did, then. I was like, I became kind of open to it. So anyway, send us good luck because you know how moving can be.
I think there's honestly nothing as stressful for me as a cancer than moving. I mean, obviously, like losing people, like losing people or pets would probably be number one. But moving has got to be right up there for me.
It's like I feel like sort of crazy and like out of my body. Anyway, well, enough about me. I hope you're all having a good day and that this was useful for you. Stick around.
I'm going to tell you about the year one program next, and we will see you again tomorrow. Bye.
