Hey everyone. This is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology [https://nightlightastrology.com/].
Today we are going to continue reflecting on Jupiter's culmination in the sign of Gemini. This is coming off from a new moon that we've just had in Gemini. And we're going to run through all 12 whole sign horoscopes today as a way of focusing this reflection so that we can get a feel for what topics are being activated, not just now in this moon cycle, but also over the course of the past year, as Jupiter has been transiting through that part of our charts.
So if you missed yesterday's talk on Jupiter in Gemini, you might want to pair that talk with today's. You don't necessarily have to watch them in order, but they are meant to go together, so be sure to check that out as well.
That's our agenda for today. Before we get into it, as always, remember to like and subscribe. I hope that this is a place for people to take their daily spiritual practice of astrology in and that it's a meaningful place to study astrology in a spiritual context. If that's the case, please subscribe. It really helps us grow. Transcripts of any of these daily talks can be found on the website, which is Nightlight Astrology.com.
A couple of promos before we get into content for the day. We have a couple of events coming up. Some are free. In-person events, if you go to that tab, one of the events dropdown menus, you'll see the summer solstice gathering coming up, June 21 in Minneapolis at the Grapevine Collective, located in the New City Center. So come join us. It's free. We just need to know you're coming so we know how much stuff to bring. RSVP. Hope to see you there. That'll be a nice way of taking in the solstice together.
Go to Speaker Series. You'll see that June 7, 8, and 15, we have free talks coming up from wonderful speakers, which we pay really nicely because of the Kickstarter, and then make them open and free for everyone. So that's another great series that comes through the generosity of your support for this channel. You'll see these are great talks, great speakers. Some of them come out of our Nightlight programs and staff. Others are friends of the program. Check those out. They're free to register. You get the recording if you can't attend live.
Go to live talks, and you'll see my webinars for June and July. The next two are coming up, and you can purchase recordings if you miss them. Topics include Jupiter exalted in Cancer, Uranus in Gemini trine Pluto in Aquarius—my June talk on the 19th. Register. You’ll get the recording for any of these if you can't make them live.
Finally, we have our first-year course starting June 22. You can learn everything there is to know about the courses contained on this page. At the end of today's video, as every day during enrollment season, I have an informational video about 12 minutes long that goes into absolutely everything you need to know about the program—what it includes, how it's organized, and how it's delivered. It’s a course you can take remotely and follow along at your own pace, or attend the live webinars with Q&A sessions. We have a lively discussion forum, breakout study sessions with tutors. It is a fantastic program—really my best work, I think. We’re coming up on our 30th program over 15 years, two per year. It’s a great way to deepen your knowledge of astrology or even turn it into a practice for others.
Need-based tuition assistance is available at the bottom, along with other payment options. If you need help, take advantage of that. We want to make sure nobody’s priced out. Whether you're dealing with financial constraints or a high currency exchange rate, we try to make it accessible. We want it to be an investment within your means—that’s a big part of our vision at Nightlight.
Anyway, that’s it for promotions today. Let’s turn our attention to the real-time clock where we will refresh on the action in the sign of Gemini that has been taking place.
Here you can see that as of Wednesday, May 28—today—the moon is just moving into its waxing crescent phase. After the New Moon in Gemini, Mercury is coming through a cazimi with the Sun in the next couple of days in Gemini, while Jupiter is also culminating in the final degrees of Gemini, changing signs into Cancer on June 9.
What I have been looking at this week with this new Moon in Gemini are the concluding thoughts and reflections of a year lived with Jupiter as our teacher in this mercurial sign. I think that yesterday, the goal of that talk was really to provide you with meditations and reflection points for the archetypal nature of Jupiter in Gemini. So go back to that and listen to it if you haven't yet, and accompany it with today's horoscopes.
What I want to do now is look at, you could take this horoscope in a couple of different ways. You could think about it as the concluding thoughts of Jupiter in Gemini. I think that's probably the best approach, along with yesterday's inflection points.
The other thing to consider is the upcoming cazimi. Let me show you when that will happen so you have a clear sense. That cazimi occurs tomorrow, Thursday, May 29, and is separating by Friday, May 30.
From today, May 28, Mercury is about two degrees away from the Sun. Tomorrow, Mercury moves to the same degree as the Sun—its cazimi moment, a greatly empowered moment for Mercury. It’s also in its own domicile, which is powerful and can translate in many ways depending on the whole sign house placement in your birth chart.
So, with the new Moon in Gemini in your chart, Mercury cazimi, and Jupiter culminating, there’s a lot happening. Not only that, but Uranus is about to enter Gemini, which will happen around July 7. On that day, Venus will also move into Gemini, adding a Venus-Uranus dynamic to the sign.
All of this indicates that Gemini is very active right now. The whole sign house in your birth chart where Gemini resides is experiencing a lot of energy. Transits are one thing, but it's also worth noting that many astrologers emphasize that transits should be considered within the broader context of time lords, progressions, and other techniques. Still, tracking transits remains one of the most reliable methods to gauge ongoing themes—especially what they aspect in your natal chart.
So, today, let’s focus on Jupiter’s final thoughts in Gemini. I’m going to set Aries on the ascendant and give some reflections. I’ll bring up the chart with only the Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter visible to get a clearer picture. I might also add the Moon back in, especially since the new Moon earlier this week was in Gemini.
You could think of this from several angles: the New Moon in Gemini, the upcoming Mercury cazimi, Jupiter culminating in Gemini—all interconnected. Jupiter has been in Gemini since last June, so a full year of this energy.
If you have Aries rising, you might listen for Sun or rising sign themes, though I recommend your rising sign for more precise insights. The third house in Aries represents your immediate environment—neighborhood, siblings, peers, learning, and skills development. How have these areas evolved over the past year? How has your daily life, learning, and ability to develop skills shifted? How have your emotional impulses interacted with these themes?
For Taurus rising, focus on the second house—money, resources, material security, wealth, and comfort. How has your relationship with money or resources changed? What new skills or resources have you cultivated? What are you building or learning about your material environment?
With Gemini on the ascendant, the process has been quite personal—an emphasis on individuation, identity, and self-understanding. Reflect on how your sense of self, talents, or life direction has clarified over the past year. This is an existential, psychological process of understanding who you are and what you want.
For Cancer, Jupiter’s culmination in the 12th house opens a window into unconscious patterns, hidden influences, or blind spots. It’s about seeing what has previously been hidden—patterns, influences, or unconscious themes—and gaining a clearer understanding. This could involve recognizing supportive or unhealthy influences, or becoming more aware of collective unconscious themes that impact you personally.
Leo risings will see this in the 11th house—dreams, hopes, social support, groups, and aspirations. What have you achieved? What support or alliances have helped you? What groups or communities have shifted? Reflect on your long-term goals and the social or professional networks supporting your happiness.
For Virgo, this is in the 10th house—career, reputation, achievement, mastery, and influence. How have your professional goals or achievements developed? Are you feeling proud of accomplishments? Has there been a period of busy growth or shifting responsibilities? This is a time of clarification regarding your public identity and long-term purpose.
Libras will find this in the 9th house—higher learning, philosophy, spirituality, long journeys, teachers, and wisdom traditions. How has your faith or philosophical outlook evolved? What questions or doubts have you explored? How has your understanding of education or teaching changed? Reflect on how these themes support your personal and spiritual growth.
Scorpios will see this in the 8th house—shared resources, debts, karmic exchanges, intimacy, and transformation. What attachments are you being asked to release? How has your understanding of give-and-take in relationships matured? What have you learned about your deepest fears or psychological bonds? This culmination is about wisdom gained through transformation and relinquishing unhealthy attachments.
Sagittarians will experience this in the 7th house—partnerships, marriage, and relating. What relationships are coming to a close or reaching resolution? What have you learned about intimacy and happiness in close connections? This is a moment to tie up loose ends and reflect on the lessons about love and partnership.
Capricorns will find this in the 6th house—work, service, health, daily routines. What efforts or sacrifices have you made? How have your habits or health evolved? Jupiter in this house can bring blessings when you put effort into work or self-care. Consider whether your daily routines align with your passions and long-term health.
For Aquarians, the focus is on the 5th house—creativity, self-expression, romance, and children. What has brought you joy? How have you expressed your authentic self? What creative or romantic pursuits have flourished? Reflect on how living in accordance with your dharma has manifested in your life.
Finally, Pisceans will see this in the 4th house—home, family, roots, and internal life. How has your internal foundation or family life evolved? What aspects of your inner world have you nurtured or need to nurture? This is an opportunity to reflect on your sense of home and inner security.
I apologize for the technical disruptions earlier—storms and power outages affected the recording. But I hope this overview helps you see the themes of culmination and reflection as Jupiter completes its journey through Gemini.
After I log off, I’ll share more about our upcoming year-one program. In my opinion, it’s my best work, combining ancient astrology with modern psychological insights, designed to cultivate a deep divinatory practice. It includes live webinars, study groups, and a supportive community. If you're interested, stay tuned for the detailed info.
I hope you’re having a good day. Remember, Thursday and Friday we’ll be covering the astrology of June and horoscopes for the month. Looking forward to hanging out with you in the next days. Take care, everyone.
