You are not being asked to predict the future—only to notice what is returning. Today I track the Moon as it re-enters Pisces and squares Uranus, reactivating the lunar eclipse of late August.
This is not a one-off event but a rhythm: an eclipse window opens, closes, and opens again. In this podcast episode I offer brief whole-sign horoscopes for all twelve signs, so you can see where this pattern lives in your birth chart and how it asks for refinement rather than certainty.

Hey everyone. This is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology [https://nightlightastrology.com/].
Today we're going to take a look at the Moon reactivating the lunar eclipse from late August. Lunar eclipse was on August 27th in the sign of Pisces, and every time the Moon goes back through that sign of Pisces and moves through the square to Uranus, which was also present at the time of the eclipse, that eclipse window gets reactivated temporarily, and I have found that these periods are very powerful.
We're going to do some horoscopes today for you to just briefly remind you of the whole sign house that that eclipse is landing in in your birth chart. These will be rising sign horoscopes. You could listen for your sun sign, of course, as well. And I'll give you just a general feel for where the moon has been since that eclipse, in terms of the times that it's revisited that sign of Pisces, so it'll be kind of a an overview of of where we've been since the eclipse and where we're going.
I hope that you'll enjoy this. Before we get into it, as always, remember to like and subscribe, share your comments and reflections, give us a little thumbs up, turn on notifications. It's free to subscribe. You can find transcripts of any of these daily talks on my website. Of course, that is nightlightastrology.com. I'm going to take you over there.
Couple of brief promotions today. First of all, go to the courses tab. Click on first year course. Our first year class, ancient astrology for the modern mystic. It's our first year program in Hellenistic astrology. Everything we do at Nightlight is really a bridge between Hellenistic astrology and modern archetypal astrology. You'll find that Nightlight is a fusion of those perspectives.
We also emphasize that astrology is an intuitive and divinatory art form. We work a lot on counseling skills with people. We have a three-year track. First year is the starting point, and that's where we begin in November. If you go through all three years now, you also can become an APAI certified astrologer. Our school has been included in their list of credentialed schools, which is amazing.
We have a really awesome program with a lot of community support. We have a full staff of tutors. I lead every class live, but everything is recorded, so you can follow along at your own pace. The early bird sale is going to go until just the beginning of November, and then that sale will be over. So you have a little bit of time to take advantage of it.
Our rates are raising just slightly in 2027, so whether it's now or the Kickstarter, it's also a good time to save on the cost of our courses, and there's also need-based tuition. So if you are in a tough spot financially and need a little help to make the program happen, please do take advantage of the need-based tuition. Allows you to pick within a sliding scale.
Been doing that for excuse me, 17 years now, and it makes me really happy to make sure that studying a spiritual topic is not price exclusive. So that means a lot to us, anyway. Book a reading. You can book a reading with me if you can't afford a reading with me. Need based astrology readings. You can check that out. That's our staff. Brand new readers. Really great.
We also now have tutoring services for people in our programs with our class tutors. So if you want to get a little additional help outside of class, our class, our course tutors are there to help you. So that's kind of cool. The other thing I want to mention is go to the My Books tab. My book, The Oracle Speaks, out an Audible book version. Paperback is there as well.
Check that out. Thank you so much for the awesome response we've received from so many people. It's been really great to hear your appreciation of the book. Go to the events tab and click on community quiet. You're going to notice that we meditate every single morning at Nightlight, free, and you can join us anytime you'd like. I hope to see some of you there.
It's been a really beautiful little community space, and I'm just loving getting to know some of you, as we meditate together every day. Okay, so let's put the chart up on the screen. Here we are, Wednesday, october 21, and what I want to point out right away is the placement of the moon. So here you can see the moon in the sign of Pisces.
Now as the day goes on, let's animate this, and we're going to take this hour by hour. The moon takes the moon about two between two and three days to make it through a sign, and we usually have most of our aspects, the fastest moving aspects that are being made day by day, coming from the moon. So the moon tells us a lot.
One of the things that we can track pretty reliably with the moon are new and full moons, right? First quarter and last quarter moons. Those tend to really pop daily aspects from the moon. If you track them with a journal, I did that for a couple of years at the beginning of my career, highly recommended if you want to really take astrology in at a somatic level, at a bodily level, get to know the feeling of an aspect as it's happening.
That's that's really cool. Now, I would say that one of the most potent things that you can do are trap track the react. Of eclipses when they come back to the same signs. So when the moon does so, what we have by this evening is the moon squaring Uranus. Now on its own, that's that's a I don't know. It's like it's like getting the hiccups for a while astrologically.
The moon and Uranus can create a kind of like oh things are suddenly a little dicey and uneven, and some unpredictable things happen, or something a little bit liberating occurs, and that those can be nice little transits. A square, usually a little bit of stress that comes with it. But here's the thing: is that this square from the moon is the exact same square that was present when the moon made a lunar eclipse in late August.
So that lunar eclipse was on august 27. We're going to go back and visit that now. I'm going to back the clock up to August, and here we have it. So here you can see the moon on August 27 in the same space, making the full moon in early Pisces. Now that if if we go by hour, we're going to take this forward just a little bit, and we'll see that that lunar eclipse was taking place.
And I remember my wife got us up at about 11 p.m. We we went out and showed the kids. It was really beautiful. I know some people are really superstitious about looking at eclipses. I I don't know. I don't have the answer, but I haven't I haven't experienced anything. I guess yeah. I've experienced nothing but just real beauty. But I I don't not to discredit the superstition. Like maybe there is something to it. Maybe we're just lucky so far, but yeah.
Anyway, so you can see that the moon was eclipsing very late last space of like if I actually go forward here by let's go forward by minute and let's show you how close it is to the exact space because Uranus has stationed and basically has not moved. So yeah, we're talking about a less than a degree when the when the moon, in other words, makes its square to Uranus this evening.
It will be within a degree of exactly where it was when it made the square to Uranus on the eclipse on august 27. Now, from this moment forward, there are several other reiterations, and we're going to go forward to find those. So, you take the moon. All you have to do is take the moon around the wheel in your software program. If you have Nachepso, which is a fantastic program, you can find the discount code at Shameless Self Promotion here for Bernice Epso. It's not my company, but I am an affiliate. I love those. I love those guys. I love their program.
All right, so here it is. We can see that September 24, right about then, we had the activation activation of the same eclipse. So this is september 24, Thursday, september 24. That was the first reiteration of the eclipse. Now, if I go back to if I go back to that day. What's really interesting, and I I just like tracked this. That was the day that our house went on the market, and I I thought it was fascinating. It was I don't know.
It was right about then. So it was the first day that we had a showing, I think maybe. But I thought it was interesting because we I told you we watched that eclipse, and then the next day, we the next morning we ended up seeing the house. We were looking at places that were sort of more like out in the country, and just quieter. See the stars. We're out there, and we're like, "Oh, that's funny. We we love this house. We're making an offer on this house, and this is the the day after the lunar eclipse.
So, not surprisingly, on the next time that the moon went through that space, it was our first. I think it was our first show. I wrote a note down somewhere. It was either our first showing or like one on the market at that time or something. So, I was like, okay. So, I'm anticipating, for example, that there may be some connection to that storyline. Who knows what exactly? At this point, I'm just trying not to be anxious about the whole thing.
So I like I'm just like trying not to get my own head about it. God, moving is so so way more stressful than I am remembered. Last time we moved was like five years ago, and I'm like, God, I hate this. Anyway, that's probably the cancer in me. So watch and see what's happening. My advice would be to just pay attention to that whole sign house of Pisces in your chart.
So what I want to do next, because this is if we run this forward, my my point that I forgot to make is that if you run this forward and bring it all. Way around. This is only our second activation of that eclipse window, and in my experience, two to three activations later, you'll find that really important developments around the meaning or themes or topics or events of that eclipse and and what its promises in your life will be active. Will be really active, especially in this case, because that Uranus station is still sitting like right there.
Now, to me, the fact that Uranus is moving now, starting to move, and at the time it was stationing, there should be developmental things kind of starting to roll along, and and and a feeling that okay now now we're moving right. So if the if the beginning part of the eclipse, the first let's say month since then, has brought some themes that have been about changes, uranian changes, but those have required some kind of revision or retrograde, right? Revision, reworking, delays, setbacks, whatever. You might find that things start to move now, just because Uranus is starting to move, and you know that's a pretty reliable predictor of events moving forward.
So that's just a little message of hope, perhaps. But what I want to do now is let's get Aries on the ascendant, and we're just going to roll through the the brief meanings of the eclipses in these houses. So, if you are an Aries Sun or rising, I would watch for the 12th house. The 12th house is going to be the place of the unconscious, what is unseen, hidden, or invisible? It's about retreat and solitude. It's about things that keep you hidden or trapped within.
And a lunar eclipse square Uranus in this house can bring awareness and freedom and release from unconscious material or bondage or some feeling of being things that are trapped inside can get released, which is really kind of can be a real relief. So, if you're a Taurus Sun arising, this is in your 11th house. Ambitions, dreams, hopes, aspirations, social belonging, social circles, professional ambitions, collaborations with other people. There may be some really interesting things happening around things like work or community spaces, friendships and collaborations with other creative people.
And also, what are your long-term dreams and aspirations, and how are they changing, or how are you realizing maybe what where you do or don't fit in socially, professionally, creatively. These themes can be really loud. If you are a Gemini Sun and Rising, we're looking at the 10th house. That's going to be the workhouse, the place of your reputation in the world, career, the direction of your career, things that are reaching a a place of fruition, blossoming, culmination, and completion, closure, resolution-these are all words that match with the reiteration of a lunar eclipse in the career house.
What's changing about the work environment? What are what is changing about your ambition or sense of life purpose and direction? Specifically, you know, maybe in that professional space, so some some interesting energy there coming up again. Now, part of that for you as as as a Gemini is going to be bouncing off from the feeling of personal revolution or personal transformation that Uranus in the first house is bringing for you, Gemini's.
Let's go to Cancer. If you're a Cancer rising, then this eclipse is coming in the ninth house, a place of spirituality, a place of philosophy and learning, faith and religion, teachers and gurus. This is an eclipse that can kind of kind of reach right into your heart and soul and speak to you. What is real? What is true? What is your north star in life philosophically?
What is the framework or paradigm of your beliefs, and how is it changing? Teachers, gurus, mentors, education. These topics can be really important right now, and the idea that there is a deepening of wisdom in your life, and and maybe wisdom from lunar figures, maybe there's a sense of generational passing of the torch when it comes to faith or religion. You're taking something your ancestors learned or didn't learn, and you're taking the next step somehow. So keep in mind that house of philosophy, faith, higher education for cancers.
Now for Leo's, it's the eighth house, which is a place. It's a moksha house, which means it has to do with entanglements and the liberation or freedom from entanglement. That that that is a part of the nature of life. We share things. We have soul contracts. We have bonds. We also have bondage. A lunar eclipse in this house can mean that some kind of emotional bond, financial bond, karmic attachment or tie is being released.
Sometimes that means that there's a theme of death around a lunar eclipse and its reiteration, but that might also be about usually figurative or metaphorical, right? Which means that what you're having to let go of right now, or what has sort of served its purpose but is being relinquished, that that that may be what this eclipse has activated and is now reactivating. There also may be questions about different social bonds or attachments in which are healthy and which aren't. That's the square to Uranus in the 11th.
Now, if you're a Virgo Sun or rising, we're looking at the seventh house for the lunar eclipse, and that's the place of marriage and relationships-it's a place of intimacy and interpersonal happiness and fulfillment. It's a place of sexuality and marriage, but it's also a place that speaks to our social life and the fulfillment or happiness of our closer relationships. So the moon in this place can speak to a culminating effect in love and relationships.
Some people are going to get divorced under this kind of eclipse. Some people are going to get married, and those big peak events in your life tend to correlate with eclipses happening in the marriage house. But it can also be about significant life changes that are happening through a partner. Their job changes, and you're moving, or they they go through an important transformational period, or something powerful happens in their family.
So these are the kinds of things that can happen, maybe affect you, but they happen through something taking place in the life of a partner or someone you're close with. On the other hand, deep lessons and excavation of unconscious material through a partner, what they are making you aware of, the lunar eclipse here can also just bring endings and resolution, finality and closure or completion as themes because this is the place of the setting sun, a place of closure and resolution. So watch for those kinds of things if you're a Virgo rising.
Now, if you're a Libra rising, we're putting this into the sixth. The sixth house is a place of daily effort and work, service and sacrifice. It's also the house where our effort really matters. It matters so you can survive and thrive. It matters so you can build or develop skills. It matters so that you can accomplish anything worth accomplishing in the world that you believe in or care about.
That it's a house that there's both willing and unwilling forms of sacrifice, which is why the house is sometimes referred to in terms of the word slavery. Obviously, that for most of us, right, is going to be figurative. I feel a slave to my work. I feel a slave to my cubicle, or something like that. But ideally, we want to find meaningful ways of working in the world, meaningful forms of sacrifice, meaningful forms of effort.
Because if you're persevering for things you don't believe in, that tends to be when you suffer and feel exhausted, and you get sick, and so forth. But for Libras, we're really talking about health, sickness. We're talking about maybe some of the drama happening around family and the things you're having to persevere or help others through in your family. You're talking about different kinds of emotional losses or heaviness and the way that you have to overcome them.
You're talking about meaningful forms of compassionate sacrifice for things that you believe in. These are the kinds of themes that are coming up for Libras right now, and they can really shape shape your life in deep ways when you allow compassion, empathy, sensitivity, and creativity to lead the way day by day in terms of the things you work for. All right, let's go to Scorpios.
For Scorpio Sun or Rising, we're looking at the fifth house, the place of creativity and creative fulfillment. If you missed my talk on the fifth house and its relation to Dharma, you can purchase the replay through the shop page. That was a great talk, if I do say so myself, I really loved it. I always know I like a talk when it's something that I really love doing.
Anyway, so that this house has to do with the idea that your your soul, part of what is natural to your soul, are gifts, abilities, skills, intelligence, which, when you utilize, bring you joy and a sense of creative participation and fulfillment in the in the garden of the world, right? So, like for me, astrology. Definitely, something that I I feel so it really fills me up to be able to share astrology creatively with the world.
That's just one example, but for someone who sings, it might be the sound of their voice filling up a room and people really enjoying it. Or so a performance could be one version of it, but anything that is a creative part of who you are-that when you're in it brings you a sense of fulfillment. Ah, I'm not like when I'm conversing with people, and I'm you know kind of in myself. Like there's an element of I'm in my own psychology, I'm in my own character, but when I'm in the flow of things that are skills or abilities that the soul has somehow learned over lifetimes in this lifetime, and you're sharing it with the world.
There's a sense that that I can only be me in this way when I'm doing these things. So that's what the fifth house is about. And for Scorpios right now, there's a great sense of fulfillment or culmination around who are you? Like, what do you do with your life that brings you joy. Now, interestingly, children, pregnancy can fall into this house, as can raising your children, and part of that just has to do with the fact that your children are creative extensions of you.
They're like the music that you've made. So, though any of these topics can become really important right now, in the way that these topics are asking you to change your life or find various outlets for creative freedom and creative self-expression. All right, let's go on to Sagittarius. Okay, so for Sagittarius, the reiteration of the lunar eclipse in your fourth house, the place of home, family, roots. When a lunar eclipse takes place in this house, there's there are often significant turning points in your immediate family, in your home or living environment, or maybe in your extended family, cycles or seasons of activity coming to an end.
Sometimes that means you know great grandmas passing away, or sometimes it means that you're moving, or sometimes it means that there's something literal like your washing machine needs replaced. God forbid, knock on wood. But the lunar eclipse just brings with it a sense of cycles and seasons of change at the roots. So, cycles of family karma, ancestral history, echoing right now in powerful ways that are there for you to reflect on, learn, and grow from.
It may also be about things that are reaching places of finality or culmination in the family, your sister's going through a divorce, or your your your your cousin's getting married, your close cousin. It it's really anything that suggests that there's a big season of change and culminating experience happening in the family matrix that's personal to you, that's hitting close to Home, so watch for that if you're Sag rising.
Now, if you're a Capricorn rising, this is in the third house. I think this is fascinating because that third house lunar eclipse for Capricorns is really deeply psychological. It has to do with how you're changing personally, emotionally, psychologically. You're you're your mindset is changing. I love lunar eclipses when it comes to being able to change your mind or have a different set of ideas or perceptions that color the way you see life and other people, or that shift slightly shift your orientation within your everyday environment.
For example, I have found that third house eclipses frequently bring people into different cultural niches, like a different cultural space. I had some interesting third house transits that brought me recently into community with some bluegrass guitar players, and I'm really enjoying it. The total third house thing. You'd say, why is it a third house? Because it it's like it puts you into a different little niche in an ecosystem. Like I'm in that ecosystem, but I had never been in that niche. You know, you know what I mean.
So like little shifts, but those shifts can be mental, psychological, emotional. They can be about how you communicate or express, about how you perceive and see the world. The third house is called the joy of the moon, and it's a very subjective place that has to do with our personhood and how we experience the world in an environmental way, where we are in it, our disposition and sort of placement in it.
This is why it's also a place of people who are like siblings or relatives or kin or peers, kind of the people that we deal with in an everyday way that share maybe some common cultural background because it's adjacent to the fourth house. So interesting place here. Shift. Landscape of mind body environment for Capricorns. Let's go to Aquarius. The lunar eclipse, if your sun or rising is Aquarius, is taking place in the second house.
That is the place of money, assets, and resources. It's a material house that has to do with your survival and your assets-the things that you need to support your physical material existence-that means it's food and diet and clothing and shelter and bills and money, all of the things like that. But it's also, especially with the moon eclipsing in this house, it's the emotional resources, the family resources, the connection to things like land or property can come up with a lunar eclipse in the second house.
The changing landscape of resources and values relative to material things in the world can change. Assets can change. Hand income and expenditure patterns can change. So we're looking at those things. And if you own your own business, this can be about different forms of revenue or different means of production or whatever the case might be changing, so watch for some of those shifts and changes if you're Aquarius around the material world, the financial support system of your life, and watch for some overlap between emotional dynamics, family dynamics, and the like.
So finally, we have whoops. Finally, we have Pisces. If you are a Sun or rising sign, Pisces, then the lunar eclipse is being reactivated in the first place-the place of your mind, your body, your health, your identity. Eclipses in this house, will often have an impact on health and vitality, and practices surrounding health and vitality. Ah, you know what? I'm realizing that there's a new way to stay active or fit or healthy, or to eat in a different way.
So, questions about nourishment. The moon in the first house can emphasize patterns of nourishment and well-being, emotional bonds and connections, your psychological, emotional health and reality, and also dependencies. The moon in the first house in Pisces can be a very naturally, like emotionally dependent or bonding type of personality. And eclipses here can suggest changes in the landscape of attachments. So, what am I attached to? How am I attached to it? Is it healthy? Does an attachment need to be relinquished? Again, these are the kinds of things I would watch for.
So, last thing I'll say about that is just that the the connection for you Pisces also may be tied into things happening around home or family with Uranus in your fourth house at the same time, so hopefully this horoscope coverage today helps you reconnect with that eclipse from late August. You can trace out the timeline a little bit more after today's video, I hope, and think about some of the ways that your life might be on a developmental track with that eclipse, it doesn't.
It's not just a one-off thing. It usually is something that over the next several moon cycles, especially when eclipses are recurring in the same signs, we've had a lot, a lot of stuff in Pisces over the past two years. Saturn was there, etc. So, continued work in this area of the chart, and I hope I gave you some helpful ways of looking at it. Well, stick around. I'm going to tell you about the year one program next.
If you want to hear more about that, we start November 14th. Can't wait to have a new group of students in class. It's going to be super fun. All right, have a great day. We'll see you again next time. Bye.
