What if the ground beneath you isn’t breaking — it’s being tilled? This month, astrology asks you to feel the difference between what is comfortable and what is genuinely sustainable. With a New Moon in Taurus on the fixed star Algol, followed by Mars entering Taurus and squaring Pluto in Aquarius, you’re not being asked to change everything overnight. You’re being asked to recognize where you’ve outgrown your own foundations.
The sequence is tight: a Mercury cazimi, a New Moon, then Mars square Pluto over ten days. Clarity, intention, and pressure arrive almost as one. For each rising sign, the co-hosts walk through where this Taurus-Aquarius axis lands in your chart — resources, routines, relationships, or home. The question isn’t whether something will shift. It’s whether you’ll meet it with awareness or resistance.

The soul doesn’t ask you to abandon what you love. It asks you to stop pretending that what no longer sustains you is still safe. This Mars-Pluto square reveals where attachments have become liabilities, and where loyalty to the past has quietly become a cage.
Listen for your rising sign. You’re not here to move fast. You’re here to move true.

Hey everyone, hello.
Hey guys, good to be back.
I'm really excited to break down horoscopes for the month of May.
And I know obviously we record these just a little bit in advance, so we are on the edge of some really exciting transits at the end of April, and a lot to look forward to in May as well.
I'm going to put this chart up on the screen, and we won't waste any time.
We're going to get right into telling you about what is happening this month of May that we are focused on.
The first thing that we are looking at is a sequence of events that happens really quickly.
We have a Mercury cazimi in Taurus.
And whoops, this Mercury cazimi in Taurus is taking place toward the end of May.
You can see the two planets together in the sky right here.
This is Thursday, May 14th.
And then if we take this forward just a little bit, this sequence gets really dynamic.
We get a New Moon in Taurus following that.
New Moon in Taurus is taking place on the fixed star Algol, which I just did a talk on my YouTube channel about recently.
You can go back and learn about why this is the scariest but also maybe most misunderstood fixed star in ancient astrology.
It's kind of a fun talk.
But then after that New Moon in Taurus, a lot of action in Taurus right then Mars is going to enter Taurus.
And as soon as Mars enters Taurus, we get into one of the most dynamic Mars transits of the year, and that is going to be the Mars square to Pluto.
Now that Mars square to Pluto, oops, let me move my pointer a little bit here, that Mars square to Pluto is going to build into the very end of May.
So here we can see that Mars is squaring Pluto right around the 25th of May into the 26th of May.
So that sequence is about ten or eleven days in a row of some pretty serious action happening in the sign of Taurus.
Got the Mercury cazimi in Taurus, a New Moon on Algol in Taurus, followed by Mars entering Taurus and squaring Pluto in Aquarius.
So yeah, pretty dynamic sequence of events.
We're going to break it down sign by sign.
What I'm going to do first is I'm going to eliminate some objects from the chart that just clean up our screen a little bit.
So I'll take out the North Node, I'll take out the South Node, and we're going to take out the Sun and Moon.
We're going to take out Venus and take out Jupiter, going to take out Uranus, take out Saturn and Neptune, and then we have pretty much the exact array of planets that we need.
I'm going to back this up just a bit to get us that picture of the new moon in the chart, but we're going to be lumping these experiences together in your horoscopes for you across the Taurus and Aquarius axis.
We'll be focusing on those placements.
So on that note, let me get the right rising sign.
We're just starting with Aries, so let me get Aries on the screen here first.
All right.
There we go.
So today, Kelsey has fire signs, Q has earth signs, Emily has air and Mal has water.
So we're going to go one at a time through the wheel here and tell you what to watch for.
And I guess I'll hand it over to Kelsey first.
She's going to start us off with Aries rising.
Yes, so for Aries rising, this activation in Taurus is your second house, representing your possessions, resources, income, how you acquire support in the material world.
And this month, you want to find something reliable and durable after so much instability of Uranus over the last several years, perhaps stabilizing what's been started during Aries season.
There could be a kind of message or conversation or idea that becomes clear regarding a new strategy to generate income under that Mercury cazimi.
Maybe you're negotiating your salary, or involving some kind of new thing that you're learning about in your skill set, and adding that in as a resource to support yourself.
Mercury is the ruler of your third house, and the ruler of Taurus is in your third house.
So Mercury and Venus have mutual reception here, working together to help you come up with new possibilities and options.
And I think this could be a really great time to get clear mentally and emotionally about what you actually want and need to feel safe and secure right now, materially, and what that would mean in terms of some fundamental changes in your daily life or your environment, or how your mind is changing about how you generate that safety in the material world.
This Mercury cazimi is Mercury's rebirth moment.
So there might be new qualities to the way that you're thinking about your financial and professional situation, about what's actually sustainable, and understanding with more grounded logic and practical planning about how to be self supporting long term.
Mercury also rules your sixth house.
And back in March, we had that lunar eclipse in Virgo, and sometimes mutable eclipses take some time to play out.
So that came to mind here that maybe you're feeling ready to make a change in your job, to change habits or your approach to life, which can help you generate more sustainability for yourself.
And this New Moon in Taurus a few days later, the Moon is exalted.
So I was thinking about how fertile this time is to set intentions around durable, resourceful plans, methods to generate income and commitment to maybe developing a skill that you've been learning more about.
And maybe these new ideas can create some tension with your comfort zones, with your existing networks and communities, or things that have been habitual in your life.
Maybe certain communities don't feel as sustainable or worth your investment, because later this month your ascendant ruler Mars is in Taurus and will move into that square with Pluto in your 11th house.
So there is a focus on stabilizing what's been started and you want to commit and stick to something.
Taurus is fixed earth, so it's a sign that doesn't really like to change.
It takes some time to develop, but when it does want something, it's relentlessly loyal to that goal.
Mars can sometimes struggle with gracefulness in this environment.
It's not too stoked to let go of attachments or comforts.
I was also thinking about in the beginning of the month there's a Full Moon in Scorpio in your 8th, so that give and take comes to mind here.
Sometimes Mars in Taurus is like, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
But what if it is broken and actually not sustainable for you?
So maybe you're approaching that question here, and maybe you're feeling determined to make some moves to earn, to acquire and to gain, or to challenge old habitual ways of generating resources for yourself.
But maybe the environment around you is pushing back a little bit, a clash between your personal desires and the desires of a group that you're in.
Maybe you want and need more compensation from a job to feel secure, and maybe you're coming up against some power dynamics and control at play.
These forces could be either slowing you down or frustrating your attempts to assert yourself, maybe creating some feelings of lack or worry about resources.
So the other way to look at it could be that this tension is a catalyst to actually leave a group altogether and go off on your own to find security in a different way.
Maybe being challenged to earn and spend in a different way, digging your heels in a little bit and avoiding change because it's been comfortable in the past is a potential.
And maybe your social environment is changing, and the way the world is changing around you is causing you to think about what that means for your comfort in making a living for yourself.
Ultimately, the Mars Pluto square can be a very potent time to pursue something that meets your needs and matches a vision that you have for your future that feels more ideal and more secure than your current circumstances.
You want to commit to that process and perhaps incorporate some new skills and interests that you've been learning or building with some activation in Gemini this month, including Uranus.
So it looks like this does require some fundamental changes, but there is a lot of willpower to reset this area this month.
Taurus does want that consistency that will last, something that's worth your investment.
And since Mars is your ascendant ruler, just be sure to assess any conflicts before engaging too deeply, making sure any power struggles aren't met with any tactless quick reactions, and remaining more in control, standing your ground and protecting your value with confidence.
So that's what I've got for you guys this month.
Thanks, Kelsey, that was awesome.
I love the idea too of there being like raw materials, and what are you building or making with them, especially the new moon planting an idea of what can I build and make.
Very earthy, and then Mars coming in is almost like, here's the tools to go and gives me the image of someone digging out a space for a garden and then raking it and maybe putting rocks around the edge, really putting their sweat into building something.
So to me, I get excited about almost like engineering designs from Pluto and building with raw materials with Taurus.
Yeah, thank you for that one.
Let's go ahead to Taurus rising.
Q's got the earth signs.
Take us away.
All right, hello, hello, all earth signs.
Really, for these transits, when I was first sitting with like, what is the story arc, what is the energetic arc of the experiences that our earth risings could be going through, I initially saw Mercury as like the bridge between soul and personality.
Having this cazimi moment really bringing down and channeling through our earth sign risings a message, a clarity of mental knowing to intuitive knowing, really again bridging the gap that they may feel between soul and personality.
So I saw Mercury in this first house for our Taurus rising really channeling into them this clarity of self, of identity, of the essence of who they actually are.
And we're feeling through this, but there's more knowing to go along with the feeling going through our bodies.
As Taurus risings, all this Aries energy that we just experienced group wise, the Tauruses are now channeling that and placing it in an embodied state within them.
And Mercury is bringing down what I visualize as like a seed of knowing and handing it to our Taurus rising, and really all our earth signs, and telling them to plant it.
I have something coming up for you, the new moon, in which you can plant this, and it will grow into something else much later.
But you'll be working on this.
As Taurus and earth signs in general, we're not rushing the process, but it's nice to have Mercury come in, provide some insight, some knowing that may feel, with Uranus having moved into Gemini, a little shocking.
Or the download could just be smack in the face clear.
It could be very viscerally in the body, where it's like a clear message coming through your vessel, or speaking with people who are mirrors to who you feel like you are really providing insight.
It could also be something that you're reading, a song that you're listening to, an experience of pleasure that really speaks to you where the word is clear.
Mercury is really channeling through you at this moment in that first house.
I think that after Mercury kind of gives you that seed, we then have the new moon where it's like, okay, baby, plant that seed.
Be intentional about it.
Figure out what it actually is that you would like to do with this new insight and knowing of self, and how you would want to move forward and challenge what you had to release stepping into this new knowing of self.
I think that there is going to be a moment of grieving for all of our earth signs, just because change is not the easiest for that element.
But I do think that you won't be new to this, okay?
At this point, you're true to this.
Uranus has already moved into Gemini.
That's shaking up things for you.
Aries also had you releasing something, severing off old pieces that really can't move into this new essence of self in an energetic sense.
So this is something that I think is really important for us all to remember.
As these changes kind of continue to press on with the end of the month really kind of closing this out, or I don't want to say that it's challenging you in a bad way, but it is applying pressure.
Pluto, that's just what it does, is really going to bring you to a place of completion, culmination, of addressing a truth or a wound that has been unaddressed for quite some time.
So for our Taurus risings, with this happening in your 10th house of reputation, notoriety, career, I also see it as being a very difficult angle to bring into harmonious energy as far as figuring out, wow, I know who I am.
My soul is speaking my desires into being, speaking my true self into actual form.
Does that align with who I am perceived as in my communities, or does it align with how I have responsibilities that I need to show up for?
These could be very internally challenging.
It could be like institutions also coming down, because we're dealing with power dynamics here.
So it could be that there's higher ups that you have to address and they need something from you, there's numbers that you got to meet, there's goals that they expect of you, and you're not liking the power dynamic when you're realizing that it doesn't feel true to who you are, and now you're having to navigate what the next steps are.
So Mercury has walked across the bridge from the soul to the personality, gave you this little seed, told you to plant it in the new moon energy.
And now Pluto is kind of coming with Mars.
Mars is seeing that like, hey, I have the gumption to do this, I have the staying power to do this.
Mars in Taurus is like a chamber and a deep well of emotion and pressure.
It can take a lot of pressure until it will burst.
Don't push it too long.
But I feel like Pluto is coming in and being like, okay, pressure cooker.
Is what you think you are real?
Are you moving authentically as who you are?
I'm going to challenge that.
I'm going to see how far you can go to make your word into form, your ideas, your thoughts, your creative insights.
How do you bring that into form and birth it and channel it in a way that is authentic, truly to your soul directed purpose or desires?
Taurus is very desire driven, and with Mars also being desire driven, how do you harness, channel and resource what Mars is providing you energetically to do in your vessel what it is that you are destined to do and feel most whole in yourself doing, where you feel good about the decisions you're making, and therefore how that affects how you move in this world and the relationships that you have in this world.
So I'm really interested with all the earth signs, but with Taurus specifically, what beautiful, pleasurable world and essence of self can you bring forth that feels honest to how people also perceive you and what they expect from you and what you actually want to take responsibility for and provide the world in return from that.
So, yeah, a lot of energy coming up for Tauruses here, but I think it's a beautiful opportunity to rise to that challenge.
Yeah, I'm especially curious about that new moon.
It's going to be forming on my ascendant almost exactly.
So I'm like, exciting.
Yeah, I think the only thing I'll add is that with Uranus just leaving our first houses as Taurus risings, this new moon cycle almost feels like maybe the opportunity to begin integrating and sort of forming something after such electrical impulses of change have been going through this house for so long.
This feels like maybe it's a time to sort of solidify things.
I'm thinking right now at the anaretic Uranus in my own first house has really helped me see the arc of a long story, and it feels like this upcoming moon might give me the opportunity to sort of integrate and put a bow around some of it.
So I'm thinking about that.
But anyway, thank you, Q.
Appreciate you.
Let's go forward to Geminis, and Emily has air signs today.
So, Emily, you've got Gemini rising, yeah.
So the Taurus emphasis is your 12th house, the place of the subconscious.
I'm thinking, actually, Adam, I don't know if you remember a few months back when we were talking about the 12th house, you were saying you had a dream where you were like wandering through these hallways, and it felt very much like a 12th house where you can't really figure out where you're going, and there's all these hallways.
And I had that image in my mind.
But with this Mercury cazimi and the new moon there, it feels like, yes, you're wandering through some subconscious terrain, hallways where there's a lack of clarity.
You can't really see around the corners, and yet you're receiving some kind of puzzle piece images with the Mercury cazimi and that new moon that do provide some clarity.
You can't form it into a linear structure or a real logical structure, but there's pieces of a puzzle that are coming together here that feel like in Taurus, maybe some new somatic awareness of subconscious patterning or conditioning.
Ways that you have been undermining yourself, or have been orienting your world from a subconscious place.
You're becoming aware of them.
You're really starting to see some of your patterning.
I think with Pluto involved here too, and Mars later in the month, it feels very eruptive of the subconscious material that has been driving from behind the scenes.
So I think some puzzle pieces are going to be coming together this month for our Geminis, particularly because this is a Moksha house, the 12th.
But that Mercury involved in the cazimi is the ruler of your first, which is a Dharma house, and then Pluto of course in Aquarius in your ninth later in the month when that Mars Pluto square happens.
That's another Dharma house.
So this feels very much like whatever new awareness is coming into your mind, into your body with the cazimi and that is being planted with that new moon is then going to be translated into or integrated into an ongoing pursuit of finding meaning and truth of who you are as an individual.
With that Mercury ruling your first house, and also of your belief systems and your guiding principles and the ways that you have structured and ordered your life in that truth with a capital T, I always say with the ninth house.
So it feels like a powerful month with potential to become aware of some maybe demons in the closet in the back of your mind that you are going to be wrestling with this month.
Once Mars comes in, and that square happens between Mars and Pluto, maybe there's some powerful conflicts within your own mind, within your own psyche.
Maybe there's some dynamics or a pressure to act, to change, to shift these things.
But ultimately, it feels extraordinarily cathartic to me.
With Uranus having just entered your first, you're on this seven year journey now of massive revolution of who you are.
This feels like the catharsis, the final letting go of old patterning, old subconscious material that really needs to take place before you can blossom and become this new individual over the next seven years with Uranus in your first.
So I'm actually really excited for our Geminis.
The word of caution: you might feel a little bit like there's something in your subconscious that's needing to be popped.
That can feel really uncomfortable and scary, but ultimately, hopefully, very freeing and liberating and in the end, cathartic and healing for our Geminis.
Yeah, sorry, I just realized I was on mute.
Yeah, I love that.
And I think the only thing I'll add to what you said is the idea that sometimes a religious experience, a mystical or spiritual experience.
I happen to know someone who is going to be experiencing an Ayahuasca ceremony for their first time, and it makes me think about the kinds of religious and spiritual shifts that expose you to a much bigger reality.
It's no longer intellectual when you have a mystical experience, an embodied vision, a dream, an altered state, something like that shows you something about truth and what's real that simultaneously reshapes the whole paradigm.
But new paradigms have a way of immediately exposing unconscious material.
One of the simplest things that I've shared on the channel before: I got back from one of my first trips to the Amazon, this is back in like 2005, and I just realized that soda was no longer going to be a part of my life.
The awareness of a new paradigm led to an instant awareness about how bad corn syrup was for me and how bad soda was for me.
I really haven't drank maybe one or two when I was in Costa Rica where they have cane sugar sodas, it's straight up sugar.
I had one there.
It was the first Coke I think I had in like a decade, and that was like 15 years ago now.
So soda just left.
So what could be liberated from the unconscious because of mystical or spiritual experiences comes to my mind for Geminis.
Yeah, okay, cool.
That was great.
Let's go on and Mal is going to take us to Cancer rising in the 11th house.
Yeah, I think this is a really profound transit for you, Cancer rising.
This Taurus emphasis in the 11th house of groups and networks, and then Pluto squaring that Taurus pile up from the eighth house, which can be about our shared karmic stories with others.
So I can definitely see some sort of story unraveling with karmic connections between friendships or, yeah, our LinkedIn profile, I call the 11th house like anybody that we're connected with through the grapevine.
We could see some sort of karmic connection coming up that has a Pluto Mars theme.
Now I was thinking about actually Muhammad Ali, who has Mars square Pluto natally, and he had Mars in Taurus squaring Pluto in Leo.
So pretty similar to this square that we'll see in May.
And for me, he's a native that sort of personifies this transit.
He's a professional boxer, so there's the blunt force that can come about with Mars Pluto, that deep energy that can also contribute to strategy when it comes to conflict.
Which I think is why he became such a talented boxer.
It's not just because he was strong, but because he could center in on the strategy of fighting.
If you've ever seen the Netflix documentary Blood Brothers, this centers on his conflict with Malcolm X, who by the way has a Mars Pluto conjunction.
So it's just a good show to look at when we're looking at natives with Mars and Pluto together telling their story.
My point being that Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali sometimes can show us in the story of his life and his professional boxing career, amongst other things, that I think conflict often requires strategy.
I don't say that in a malicious way, like we have to strategize our approach to a conflict to get exactly what we want.
But I mean strategy in the sense that everybody is just trying to get their needs met.
So Cancer rising, if you are facing a situation this month where you might feel your needs are not being met in a connection, or perhaps one of your connections is reflecting that back to you like, hey, you're not meeting my needs by doing X, Y and Z.
I wonder how we can humanize the fight or the conflict a little bit, dialing it back and remembering that maybe you and your connection that the conflict is present within are just two inner children trying to get comfortable or trying to be loved or liked or accepted.
I would say particularly the wound around being included or accepted or embraced by community might come up, because those are some of the maybe wounds that could be present in the 11th house.
But overall, I think the questions are: if I am facing a conflict with one of my friends or connections, am I taking enough responsibility for voicing what my needs are in the situation as well as listening to what the other side's needs are as well?
And I think overall, a lot of opportunity to reframe conflict and potentially sever or walk away from connections that don't serve either party and letting that be okay, because Mars certainly has his roots in severing.
That's kind of my vibe check for this 11th house, 8th house square.
Love it.
Thanks, Mal.
Yeah, you know, I wonder for Cancers where you're trying to fit in that you shouldn't be, and where that might become clear at some point because something is exposed within groups, communities, and the deeper motivations behind the relationships that you have, socially, publicly, even professionally.
Also, what are you looking for?
What are you trying to get out of them?
That deeper level of motivation around social contracts looks like it could be very powerful.
And maybe with some reflection, you can adjust to not try to please people that you really shouldn't be trying to please, not try to fit in where you're not meant to be.
Also recognizing that if people in a group don't like you, just go to a different group.
Those are just a few random thoughts that came to my mind while you were speaking, Mal.
Go ahead to Leo, and we're back to fire.
Kelsey is going to take us away.
Yes.
So for Leo rising, this Mercury cazimi reset and New Moon is in your 10th house, a very public, visible space of reputation and career.
New seeds being planted and likely coming from some kind of Mercurial download about how to cultivate sustainability and consistency here after a lot of change publicly with Uranus in Taurus.
And what's interesting to me is the cluster of planets is hosted by Venus in Gemini, Mercury's sign.
So this mutual reception indicates some kind of collaboration going on here between Venus and Mercury.
So ideas for stable, secure and practical public life plans are getting inspiration and help from the versatile possibilities and options that you have in your social networks, within your group affiliations.
So Mercury is trying to figure out how to adapt and make new ideas work in a practical, harmonious, pleasurable way.
And pleasure to Taurus means reliable and consistent professional goals that can be secure, both financially and socially.
With Mercury ruling your second and 11th house, Mercury is acting as a translator here and filtering through these options that Venus in Gemini may be highlighting.
New dreams and aspirational goals could be coming online.
Now that Uranus has left Taurus, this new moon can be an opportunity to assess which public facing aspirations from that time are worth preserving.
How do they need to adapt or change if you want to keep them going?
Which things are not as pleasurable or reliable enough to keep sustaining you, and in that case, what is replacing them?
Mercury is infusing ideas and plans into the plot line, which is your ascendant ruler the Sun.
So a really great time to think about your long term goals.
Maybe you're leaving a job and joining a new industry that's more aligned with your values, that allows you to embody the social role that you want to play.
And you could also be continuing to build upon something that's already been established, and in doing so, maybe needing to adapt to the new times or update your approach.
Lots of new innovative ideas in these new public domains of life, and maybe even a wider social network in some way.
So I think in general, with these Taurus transits, the challenge is resistance to change as a fixed sign yourself.
Resistance from existing structures and relationships in your life that may need to change form for these shifts to unfold smoothly, which of course Taurus prefers.
Mars in the 10th house really amplifies your effort in refining priorities so that there's ease and comfort.
Maybe there's a lot of effort going towards cutting or severing away from a role or an image, an aspect of your public life that feels unvariable in a limiting way somehow.
But you're determined and committed to break a mold here.
Mars squaring Pluto can activate power hierarchies in the workplace with authority, with a boss or client, in your one on one relationships, illuminating some clashes of power or control in these dynamics.
And maybe there's some desire to transform them by confronting them with a sense of peace with Mars in a Venus ruled sign.
Or maybe you want to escape them all together.
Sometimes Mars at the top of the sky can also indicate a change in status, professionally or in a relationship dynamic.
So Mars Pluto can be intense, but it's not always for the worst.
Maybe you get a really awesome promotion and there's some jealous energy from people around you in some way as you shine like the Leo that you are.
Sometimes it can initiate a welcomed increase in drive and ambition to get something addressed, to finally make a change that's been building in necessity.
And Mars in Taurus does prefer slow, methodical strategies, so to have those clear goals and stay grounded in your ideal vision when you're faced with some power struggles along the way.
Some battles don't need to be fought if they disrupt your peace and serenity, whereas others really do because their presence alone is the thing that's disrupting your experience of security and peace and pleasure in doing your work.
So Mars really wants to take action in pursuit of more comfort, just making sure that as you're asserting yourself, it doesn't get in the way of the pleasure in making these changes.
I was thinking about the film Whiplash and the music instructor trying to produce beautiful music.
There's a real power dynamic between the instructor and the main character, the drummer, who's very focused and wants to transform his reputation in the music world and prove himself.
And although the instructor is very musically genius, he's not kind and he's not soft in his approach, and it creates a lot of tension and kind of ruins the experience altogether for everyone.
So this came to mind here, and it's absolutely not a prediction, by the way, just more of a vibe that came into my mind when thinking of Mars Pluto and how to address power dynamics or conflicts in the workplace while holding the complexities of an angular Mars in a Venus ruled sign.
That can be really challenging, because you really have to develop that strategy that we've all been commenting on with Mars in Taurus.
So just keeping that in mind, having control in keeping your aim on what it is that you're going for here, because you want it to last.
So that's what I've got for Leo risings this month.
I love that.
Thanks, Kelsey.
Yeah, I think you're spot on with the difficulty of negotiating or managing power struggles or conflicts, trying to do so in a way that is peaceful, that retains as a Leo rising your likability, which is important.
You don't want to be a rain cloud.
You want to be sunshine.
Leo is kind of that solar principle.
But this might be a situation where you have to stand your ground or be a little bit more intractable.
How can you do that with not like a forced teeth bared smile?
That's not easy.
But I do think you're setting some kind of precedent for yourself right now, maybe a new way to handle challenging things or pressures or deadlines or relationships.
So it's worth it to be strategic.
I really like that point Kelsey made.
All right, let's move on to Virgo.
We're back to Q, and let me highlight this for you in the ninth house here.
Here's the main focus.
Yes, yes.
Okay, so Virgos are mutable earth babes.
This is happening in your ninth house of your higher mind, your belief systems, meanings, teachers, and really the larger story here.
Emily said it perfectly earlier, truth with a capital T.
And with you being an earth sign and Virgo at that, there are some interesting questions that I would have for Virgo rising.
What beliefs, ideas, philosophical thoughts have you been having that you've either allowed to kind of percolate in the back of your mind, but there's something about it that you've allowed yourself to be avoidant of or not look too deeply into?
With it being the ninth house, getting into all the nitty gritty details of things is not exactly what's living in that house energetically.
It's not trying to break down and figure out the individualities of things and the details of things, but more so synthesize.
But with Mercury being here and being the ruler of your chart, I think that it is going to be really interesting what insights are possible for you at this time.
Really again remembering that Uranus has just made its transit into Gemini.
So our mutable babes are getting hit with insight downloads.
Conversation is really important.
Writing is really important.
Reading things is really important.
Taking in information, knowledge and allowing yourself to kind of play with these things, play with what's coming to you.
But for Virgo specifically in this ninth house, it will revolve around again your belief systems, the ways in which you create your reality, and what makes sense for how life works.
And so it's this question, or really an invitation, that I think the cazimi, this Mercury cazimi, is providing you.
The little seed that Mercury is hopping across the bridge to give you is: trust in the larger vision that could be coming through at this time before your analytical nature tries to break it down to make sense for you.
Do not engage in these thoughts that may feel wrong or seem incorrect.
What if, I guess that's my question for Virgo, what if you actually follow that thought train and you share what Mercury is bringing forward to you?
I think outside of just taking in information for Virgos with Mercury here, it is also sharing.
The ninth house is about publishing as well.
So are you publishing the works, the ideas, the thoughts that are coming into mind?
Are you sharing and synthesizing this information?
Again going back to Uranus in Gemini, this electric fine knowing of insight and finding out these new, exciting details of what works, how and when and where and with whom are you sharing this knowledge after you've made understanding of it for your higher self?
It's become one of your belief systems, or you just simply found meaning behind something that you haven't really allowed your analytical mind to explore because of this, that or the other.
But now Mercury is giving you the okay.
Mercury, your ruler, is like, no baby, go ahead.
Let your desires be explored.
Have some type of insight around what brings you pleasure in connection with your belief system, with your higher mind, your soul.
Let's explore that, and then let's bring that forward in a very confident, enlightened, illuminated way.
Now that we have the sight that we might have been missing or just would have been a bit of confusion before.
Now the new moon, like I said, I still see it as this seed.
I think that this specific seed for Virgos is being pressed into the belief systems that Virgos have, their relationship to meaning, and then how they share that meaning with the world at large.
I think that it's really important that if you are Virgo rising and you've been on the fence about whether or not you should look into something, dive deep into it, pick up that book, go ahead and orientate yourself to that seeking, to that exploration, to that knowing, so that you can eventually feel confident enough to share what you have, what you know, your knowledge, your lived experience that is now embodied within you.
It is nurturing to those around you and nurturing to yourself to share your story.
So I just really want to encourage Virgos to be a little free.
Let yourself be free.
Uranus is going into Gemini, really shaking up this revolution within the self for a lot of people, all of us.
But for Virgos, I'm like, what's being shaken away that is scary?
I get it.
But when you really sit with yourself, Mercury is communicating through your body, with Taurus being highlighted here.
Now moving into that Pluto Mars square, this is highlighting that even more for our Virgos, because it is in your sixth house, and there's this communication happening with the planets and this energetic pattern that's being highlighted, I think, for Virgos, of where or how do we bridge the gap between what your belief systems are and how you're actually living.
What are your day to day practices, your daily routines, how's your work life balance?
It's your vessel kind of telling you, like, hey, you're not dealing with this in the mind.
And so now I'm taking it on physically within the vessel.
And it could be that the communication around this whole situation for Virgos could be very bodily.
It's your body communicating an imbalance, a challenge of lived experience that is congruent to your belief systems.
There's a tension that many Virgos could be finding themselves in where there's this mental situation that is happening that they can't allow themselves to really fully feel through.
And I think Taurus being highlighted in such a way, the sixth house being highlighted in such a way for Virgos, allow yourself to feel.
Really allow things to wash over the body and listen to what it needs.
Virgos, that sixth house is going to highlight what routines, what practices, what old fears live in the body which don't allow you to explore your true beliefs or break past the beliefs that have been inherited from family.
I think it's really going to be an epiphany moment, or series of moments, through conversation, through relationship to other people, through the work that you share with other people or receive from other people, that's going to be catalyzing your breakthrough and your ability to really show up in the world as you would like to.
But also, again, in your body the way that you would like to.
Is your daily life actually in harmonious relationship with who you're becoming from these belief systems that could be drastically changing?
So again, with all the energy happening, I feel like the body is super important for Virgo and finding a harmonious relationship with the mental state and where your beliefs support that.
So, yeah, you got it though, Virgos.
Don't think too hard about it.
That's essentially what I'm trying to say.
Don't think too too hard about it, and really explore.
Have some fun with what it is that you believe and want to build your life off of and have your body stand on it, feel secure in it, as an earth sign.
Thanks, Q.
Yeah, that was great.
I think one thing I'll add is just that conflict and struggle and challenge, labor and sacrifice, can be great generators of philosophical questioning and discovery.
When conflicts come up, when hard pressures build in work situations come up, when sickness comes up, the sixth house, hardships let's call them, those can often be a source of great growth.
You have to expand your worldview sometimes to include difficulty.
When you get sick or when you're injured, and you think, well, that's just not what I thought the plan for my life was going to look like.
This difficulty was unanticipated.
Suddenly we might have to make more room intellectually and spiritually for what is real and what is true.
And you know, the Buddha left the temple to see sickness.
He was a prince.
He said that he sees sickness and poverty and death and disease and greed and all these things, and they challenge his worldview.
So I think it's good to allow our worldview to be challenged, and maybe that worldview challenge can also make for a more peaceful or more enjoyable one too.
I really appreciate the emphasis on letting your body be part of the wisdom, not sometimes pitting wisdom against the body like wisdom is higher and the body is lower.
I really appreciate you kind of pushing gently in the opposite direction on that.
All right, good.
Let's keep going to Libra.
All right, guys, hold on just a second here.
Can you guys see Libra on the screen?
Yes.
Okay, cool.
Emily's up.
Let me highlight for you.
Here you go.
So we've got the Mercury cazimi and the New Moon in Taurus in the eighth house, and then the Mars square to Pluto between the eighth and the fifth.
I've been thinking a lot about the eighth house recently, Mal, as something that you said a few months back about its secrets make you sick, the secrets that make you sick, that kind of thing.
And also about the eighth house as a place of, among all of the typical words like inheritances and debts and loans and attachments, but also our fears and anxieties sometimes are found in this place.
What's really coming up for me with the cazimi is a new awareness around some kind of genetic inheritance.
This is really specific, but I wonder if some of our Libras might be getting some information about a gene that they carry that affects their ability to procreate.
Or they might be carriers of a certain genetic abnormality or something like that.
I know that's very specific and will not be the case for all of our Libras out there, but something like that feels like you might be coming aware of some old family secret, some genetic something that you have inherited.
I think Q you mentioned about inheritances from family.
This feels like a moment of becoming aware of some skeleton in the closet, perhaps with family, perhaps with genetics, perhaps with a partner's resources.
Or maybe you're finding out about a partner having spent a month gambling or something.
I'm just thinking things like this.
You're learning some pieces of information that are possibly skeletons in the closet, possibly secrets that are new, kind of surprising light bulb moments.
And once you become aware of them, you can look at the ongoing process with Pluto in the fifth house of what brings you joy.
The transformation that's slowly taking place within what brings you joy, what you find romantic and pleasing and exciting, and the ways that you just want to engage in a joyful way in the world.
Something around that has been and is slowly shifting and transforming.
And I feel like the square that comes in later in the month between Mars and Pluto across the eighth and the fifth is that whatever new awareness around some secret or some way that you have maybe been indebted to someone, or they have been indebted to you that you're becoming aware of with a new light, with a new visibility around it, that maybe that has been affecting the way that you can engage with joy in your life.
Maybe you want to really move in a new direction that is becoming pleasurable or exciting, or where you want to express yourself artistically, but you've been unable to really go in that direction because of some obligation that you have.
And once you learn of this new information, once you become aware with the cazimi, maybe you can say, oh my gosh, I no longer need to be attached to or giving to this other person or entity or whatever, and I can let that go and then allow myself to really fully engage in that sense of creativity.
I also think another possibility is something happens here.
I could see an elderly grandparent or something like that passing, you becoming aware of a chunk of money that they put aside in the will for your own child.
They're going to send your child to school, or something like that.
These are just mundane ways that I could see the fifth and the eighth coming together.
A new awareness around some kind of inheritance, and that can be psychic, genetic, financial, energetic, emotional, all of these things, that then allows for a shift, or puts pressure on a shift, in where you find joy, where you find a sense of creativity, what is moving in pleasure in your life.
It feels like it could be conflictual.
There could be that sense of catharsis that I mentioned before, or like something has to give.
There's a pressure to act that maybe feels uncomfortable, but ultimately, with this new awareness, even if it is shocking or upsetting, it hopefully frees you up to pursue joy in a more meaningful and aligned way in your life.
So that's what I'm hoping for our Libras out there.
Thank you.
That's fantastic.
Yeah, I can't help but think for Libras, in a way similar to what I was saying about Tauruses earlier.
Taurus I was thinking of my own rising sign and going through seven years of Uranus in my first house.
And for Libras, this is your eighth house.
So much of that experience has to do with liberation from unhealthy attachments.
The very Moksha basis of this house philosophically means liberation from bondage.
There's a little bit similar to what we just saw with Pisces, right?
There's Saturn and Neptune cleared out of Pisces, but then there's like this wave of almost a rinse cycle after the wash cycle.
And it feels like that for Libras in the eighth house, like there's a rinse cycle after the wash cycle that you're going through in that eighth house with respect to things that you're attached to.
We'll see how that plays out.
But I really liked the way you covered that, Emily.
Thank you.
Okay, let's go forward to Scorpios, and we are scooting around.
Okay, how's my mic?
Do I sound a little bit better versus last time?
Okay, good, good.
I changed the mic here.
So, all right, Scorpio risings.
We have an emphasis on the seventh house of the other, and then Pluto squaring the Taurus pile up from the fourth house of the home.
I was thinking about why the fourth house squares the seventh house in a really simple way to think about it is you have to leave your home, which is the fourth house, to go find the people in the seventh house.
The other, which is contained in the seventh house, isn't going to inherently be hanging out in the fourth house areas at the same time.
It's often those seventh house people that mirror back to us fourth house wounds.
If you've ever been on a date with someone and you realize, oh my God, I'm actually on a date with my mother, like kill me, how did this happen again?
That's kind of like a fourth house, seventh house square, and that's why those houses are at tension with each other.
Our ancestral familial roots will eventually show themselves in the seventh house, relationships with people who are not of our family origin, but people we go out in the wild to meet.
I say that because I think this month does present, again we've been talking a lot about conflict resolution with everybody's forecasts, and of course we're talking about conflict with a Mars Pluto square.
But I think there is an opportunity for transformation when it comes to how you and your partner go about, let's say fighting, and I think that could be a really good and healthy thing.
I could see some Scorpio risings maybe this month beginning couples therapy with their partner.
Let's say the couples therapist points out something really about the way conflict is coming about in the partnership, and both of you are like, holy shit, we didn't even realize we were fighting in this way that actually doesn't lead to resolution.
So in some ways, there's going to be a reflection, especially when it comes to partnership, of how things could be better and how fights could be fought more fairly, and also how more empathy and grace can be given to your partner, and vice versa as well.
I think there could also be a recognition of your own family dynamics, specifically how conflict was dealt in your family of origin, and how that might show up in important relationships today.
Let's say your family of origin, I know this is really common, they operated from a sweep it under the rug kind of mentality.
I'm familiar with this.
You have a fight, and then you sweep it under a rug, not really talk about it.
That strategy, I think, comes from maybe even the thought of, well, why would I bring it up?
I'm not going to be heard anyways.
My needs aren't going to be met anyways.
I'm going to be misunderstood.
Might as well sweep it under the rug.
But when this comes to you and your partner, are you giving them the proper opportunity to hear you, see you, understand you, or are you defaulting to the family of origin sweep it under the rug stuff?
Again, this isn't for everybody, but this could be for a handful of Scorpio risings.
One other theme I think about is maybe there's not so much interpersonal conflict between you and the partner, but maybe you're watching your partner struggle in some way in their own life.
Maybe they're having a struggle with their parents, their own family of origin.
Some Scorpio risings might be watching their partner grieve a loss of a parent or grandparent.
Supporting your partner in this phase of life can be tricky, and it kind of beckons the question of, how do I be a good partner in a moment of grief?
How do I recognize that a profound loss like the grief that comes from that will change and evolve?
I can't expect my partner to be the same after this loss.
How do we adjust now together?
So those are some themes.
It's not all sunshine and rainbows, but I do think that there's definitely the possibility of becoming more attuned emotionally to the partner.
That's my interpretation.
And of course, I mean, a decision to potentially terminate a partnership could be there.
That could definitely be a manifestation for some.
But for me, there's also a sextile to Venus in the background of this month from Venus in Cancer sextile to these Taurus placements.
And for me, that speaks to more of a resolution for most.
I think this month can be more resolution focused than we might jump to initially.
So that's what I've got for you, Scorpio risings.
Thank you.
That was great.
Yeah, I like the idea that there may be some strong intersection between your upbringing, your family of origin, and what is unfolding in your interpersonal relationships right now.
The overlap seems really strong.
Mars in this house can go both ways.
I've seen Mars show up in the seventh when I'm not being the nicest to my wife, like I'm just getting into it more with her.
And I've also had Mars transits to my seventh where I feel like she's on a mission and I just have to get out of her way or something.
It could be me or could be her.
I've learned over the years never to assume what kind of conflict and from which direction it may come from when Mars enters the seventh.
But also sometimes joint effort happens in the seventh with Mars.
Ashley and I work together, so maybe there's a project that we're having to push really hard.
That could be Mars in the seventh too.
So there's a lot of different ways of looking at that.
I appreciate your coverage there, Mal.
That was great.
Let's go to Sagittarius, back to Kelsey.
All right, for Sag rising, this activation in Taurus is in your sixth house, daily routines, work, service, sacrifice, health.
I was thinking about operationalizing your life, maybe new responsibilities coming online here and requiring some restructuring, finding effective ways to take care of yourself, to be more productive, to cultivate resilience, also to navigate inevitable life challenges that you may face sometimes.
Sixth house activation can present the need for that.
Maybe also seeking out a job that feels more worthy of your investment of time and energy.
Now that Uranus is out of Taurus, you're probably also seeking a new rhythm and pace to how you structure and move through your daily life and obligations to really set that in this month.
Mercury cazimi can represent coming to an intellectual, emotional, psychological understanding of why there really needs to be more consistency and ease and productivity in this area, and maybe some ideas on how to achieve that.
With Mercury ruling the 10th and the seventh, maybe there's a new role you're taking on at work, new coworkers or employees that can help you refine your responsibilities.
Maybe you're stepping away from a role that used to be very foundational and setting goals that can help you adjust more smoothly.
The initial Taurus activation here with Mercury cazimi and the New Moon is answering to Venus in your seventh, so I was thinking a lot about relationships and the changes that you may be going through with a partner or in the life of a partner, and how those are affecting the sacrifices that you may have to make, or the challenges that you are navigating.
Maybe a partner is going through a life shift, and you have to take on more work to recalibrate or find sustainable, practical steps in your routine to get a lot of things done.
Mercury separates from the Sun and becomes an evening star just as Mars is forming that square to Pluto in Aquarius.
So there's an extra push at the end of the month to assert what it is that you need and want to establish here as a new foundation.
And I was also thinking of this podcast.
I know Adam has mentioned it a few times, that podcast "We Can Do Hard Things."
So I was thinking that with Mars in Taurus in the sixth and the Venusian vibe that these hosts bring, although they're discussing a lot of life challenges, perhaps this involves listening to this podcast or things like that to help you navigate maybe breaking away from some old habits and thought patterns or conditioning, facing fears of change with Pluto in the third house.
I'm in the Decans class, so I was thinking about this through the lens of the decans.
The beginning of Taurus, where Mars will be during the square, is all about the building of basic needs and what we need for survival.
Sometimes there's a great deal of necessity that comes in when we have transits here, the need to persevere.
And I was thinking about the activation of the awareness of that necessity right now to help you generate some grit.
Mars really cuts and severs, so separating from obligations or habits that are not sustainable anymore, offering you maybe more flexibility to take on things that are more fruitful.
But at first in doing this, it could feel like you need to act very quickly.
So just being mindful of burning out or striking out in some way.
There's also potential for this to be centered around health, regulating your nervous system comes to mind.
I know we say that a lot in this era, but I think it's really important for Taurus sixth house to develop basic routines that ground you and increase your capacity if you're taking on more work through this Mars transit.
Mars Pluto can be very powerful in changing habits or responsibilities that get in the way of a new vision for your life.
Mars is in its joy in the sixth, but it's fixed earth in Taurus, so moving the earthly things can be a little bit of a challenge.
So the force could feel uncomfortable if you're super attached to the way things have been or the way things are, but it could also be the thing that pushes you to confront what is not pleasurable or valuable or reliable, what isn't bearing fruit in comparison to the effort that you've put forth.
And I was also thinking about the mental and psychological elements that we need in order to make a conscious, long lasting shift in our physical life.
We can simply stop or start doing something behaviorally, but the mental element and the conscious shift is often the most important thing in making sure a habit or a new pattern actually lasts, and that the old ones fall away.
So understanding why they need to comes to mind here.
There could be pressure from your workload or elements of social life in your work.
I could see the Mars Pluto aspect as a confrontational exchange with someone, like a conversation with a colleague or a friend, where there's a lot of willpower in asserting needs and expectations.
Maybe they are clashing in some way, but I also want to highlight the potential for this to be a constructive, helpful conversation that is just very powerful and influential and helping you change something about how you're approaching daily life.
The sixth house can be about health and illness, but also about the dis-ease that we experience socially, like with conflict in our lives.
So that came to mind, helping you maybe confront a conflict, something that doesn't feel good, just making sure to tread lightly with Mars in Taurus when making your point.
And I think with Pluto in the third, there's a lot of implementation of new things that you're learning, new skills, new ways of perceiving your life that you could really implement into your routine and help you become a little bit more productive if you've got a lot on your plate this month.
So that's what I've got for my Sag risings.
Love that.
Thanks, Kelsey.
One thing that I would add is that the power of Pluto in the third when it comes to helping you understand the nature of recurring patterns of conflict can be really illuminating.
Oh, here's how I contribute mentally, emotionally, psychologically to the types of struggles that I keep seeing in my life.
That doesn't have to be about blame.
It can just be about enlightenment, like, oh, hey, here's how I could make it easier for myself.
On the other hand, just becoming more aware of any kind of pattern or habit, health, diet, sleep, having knowledge is power, having more knowledge about what creates peace and what creates conflict comes to my mind.
Okay, great, let's go to Capricorn.
Q, you are back up.
All right, so Capricorn risings, this is happening in your fifth house of creativity, of joy, your authentic self expression, romance and all things that you birth that you're capable of birthing into this reality, which will affect the world at large, the audiences and the societies and groups that you're a part of.
So with Mercury transiting this house and experiencing a cazimi around these things, you could receive a lot of channeling, a lot of downloading through, I would say, Mercurial creative outlets.
Whether that be a comedy show that you go to or a workshop that you happen to do.
Since we're thinking about Capricornian things, maybe it's something like a creative project that you've been working on.
You're suddenly getting insight on how to work through that and whatever concerns or issues or roadblocks that Capricorn can naturally already place into that house for themselves.
You're able to work around it and have the mental capacity and understanding to persevere through whatever fear you placed instead in that house.
Capricorns can be a little strict on themselves and have an ideology or a way about them that they may not even be aware of, that they're moving and desiring struggle or hard work dedication before they can reap the rewards of joy, of creative delight and pleasure.
So that house can go a little malnourished if Capricorns aren't careful about intentionally allowing creativity to flourish, be abundant, be lush, and very Taurian in this nature.
So I think that with this cazimi happening in this house for Capricorns, Capricorns are going to be like, oh, I actually do like having fun, and I can make this a lot easier on myself than what I've been making it.
And these are the people that I can do that with.
These are the spaces that I can do it within, and these are the creative projects that can flow for me.
This is what I can birth into actual tangible form.
I think it's really beautiful having Taurus in the fifth house, because there's this natural connection, or just ability to think something, desire it and bring it forth into actual tangible form.
You really are birthing something here.
I think that some of the insights that you could possibly have could be actually working with children, or having conversations with children that hit home in a very specific way.
When you talk to a kid and they say something that really has you just like, oh, okay, wow.
I thought that I was the adult here, but clearly you have wisdom beyond your years, my young friend.
I feel like Capricorns can have those type of moments where things suddenly get very serious in a confirming way, in a validating way that allows them to right from the mouth of babes, the truth comes from the mouth of babes.
The kid's gonna be honest.
They really are.
They're right on the money, and they make sure you get the message.
Spirit just works through them in that way.
So I do feel like Capricorns can feel like, dang, wow, I didn't know that I even needed that.
That nourishes the body and my creative body, my creative capacity and will to bring forth these things.
So once Mars moves into this house, it's really going to be working off of that new moon energy.
With the new moon, it's like, okay, insight has come.
Let me actually put it into action.
Taurus requires for something to be forged and created.
It does not have to be expeditiously done and finished.
You don't begin and finish all on the same day.
But I think the new moon is telling you, like, hey baby, run with this.
Mercury gave you the seed of insight on your creative desire, your abilities, your natural creative nature.
Mercurial energy is naturally creative in the sign of Taurus.
We're really building off of something stable.
So the new moon is like, hey, this is the best time, fertile soil, fertile creative soil, to go forth and do what it is that you would like to do, that you find joy in actually doing, without having to sacrifice diligently, work hard at it and be disciplined and very regimented.
Let go of that a little bit here.
Allow yourself some play time.
I said that with Virgo, but it's even more serious here with Capricorns.
Really allow yourself to be romantic, to get insight on that relationship maybe that you've been real fearful about.
Allow whatever insights you need to have come through at this time, pave the way and clear out that path of confusion around what your heart is kind of leading you to.
Allow joy to be the compass here.
Allow your heart to vibrate and find the frequency that works well for you during this time.
And again, allow that new moon moment to say, hey, go forth and be great.
Go ahead and have fun that you deserve to have, that you have inherited.
You inherit joy, and it's not something you got to work for.
I think it's a really big message coming in for Capricorns.
However, Mars squaring Pluto is going to challenge that later in the month.
So after you got the good feelings and the insight, I do feel like that challenge with the second house, the fears are going to come back up.
So definitely be aware that this again will be something built, which Capricorn you should be ready for that already.
But I think that if you really harness the energy, the insight, the channeling that happens, the downloads that you receive during that cazimi and the new moon, and you kind of ride the wave of Uranus in Gemini things, it will be easier to step into this fearlessness that Pluto is shaking up as needing to come to the surface.
Like Emily said, it's pushing all of that that's in that second house of self resource that you've probably felt like you don't actually have, that you're lacking, that you need to just work a little harder to secure.
Pluto's like, no, these structures that you put your faith in, your values, your morals, what makes you feel secure in your own sense of self, those are false.
And it could be very cage rattling for the Capricorn to have your soil, your second house, shaken up, tilled away.
The roots of things, the weeds that have overgrown, now being pulled out and creating all this disruption.
Your creativity, you allowing Pluto, not Pluto, but your pleasures, to be a compass of guiding light and knowing and creation for yourself, will be the support of soul here, I believe.
And allow your body to get into action and pursuing this pleasure, and it will secure something in your own sense of capability too.
I think that there's something really particularly necessary for our earth signs to allow their hands, their body, their physical vessel, to be a part of this experience, as far as creating the worlds that they desire and building that for themselves in the communities that they're a part of.
What you make in the fifth house will feel pressure from what you have and believe you're worth from the second house, and that's going to be an eternal battleground, if you will.
We've talked about war, about battle.
This is that internal strife of, I don't feel like what I create is actually valuable, and why possibly, or like I know it's valuable, but the outside world, the perspectives, the ideologies, the institutions that be put me in this power struggle, this relationship to self that makes me feel like it won't be valued once I put it out there.
And I think that if you allow your creative life to be held back, it will be a physical manifestation of the disease, oh, Kelsey, you said it perfectly, the disease that you feel in your body.
The physical vessel will come forth and show and communicate to you that you are shutting off your creative flow.
You can't enter flow state.
You can't get the things done you're trying.
Things that you've done in the past aren't working exactly like how you're used to them working, and that's bringing up frustration, because Pluto's asking for you to change.
Change and resist whatever the fear ideologies are, the fear values that you have.
If you're finding that you're valuing fear more than you are valuing your ability to create beauty, life, joy, happiness, art, then just sit.
Sit with yourself, sit with the situation, allow the insights to keep coming in.
Journaling, anything having to do with the word is going to be really important for you to play around with and see how much you can express your honest, true desire of self-led joy, through art, through the word, through communication with other people.
Like I said, being around children could be really, really great with their freedom, their sense of freedom, and their capability to be liberated in their essence, in their being.
That could be really noteworthy for Capricorns.
If you got some kids around you, if you'll be kicking it with the kids, take a note from them.
But I do think that this is going to be an exciting time where you're able to revolutionize the way in which you perceive your ability to create a sustainable lifestyle based off of what it is that you, in your vessel, are able to create and share with the world and have the world love your baby like you love your babies.
But it's scary.
It's a very scary thing to do that.
So I just really want to stress, allow yourself to breathe through these dramatic changes that feel so ungrounding.
Capricorn babies, y'all just be so fearful sometimes.
So I get it.
It is very scary, but you got this.
I think that it's going to be very freeing.
You will know the essence of what it feels to actually move freely after you have worked through these transitions with the planets.
Awesome.
Thank you so much.
That was great.
Really appreciate that deep dive.
We are running a little short on time, so I am going to just move right along to Aquarius next, and we'll go with Emily into this air sign.
Yeah, so we have the Mercury cazimi and the new moon in the fourth house for our Aquarians out there.
This feels like after a seven year stint of Uranus in your fourth house of home, family, roots and foundation, that you might be getting some downloads, some new awareness with the cazimi and the new moon around what you need to plant in Taurus to reform some stability or some sense of security at the roots of your life.
That feels like it could be something to do with a parent.
Maybe you're becoming aware of something about a parent that is aging, or something like that.
Maybe they need to come and stay with you, perhaps something like that is on the table now you're thinking about that.
Is that going to provide them more sense of security and safety and you, or vice versa?
So questions around that, possibly.
How can I feel secure and stable in the very foundation of my life?
How can I feel rooted, and who or what are the things that can help to lead to that sense of security?
Is this where you're learning something about your actual physical home?
You're becoming aware of something that needs to shift in the home in order for you to feel safe.
Maybe it's time to downsize or upgrade, anything like that.
Something to do with home, family, roots and foundation.
Some downloads around that, some new awareness around that.
When it comes to the Mars square to Pluto for Aquarians in particular, I really want to mention what was happening in January for you.
There was a series of conjunctions between the faster moving planets, including Mars in January, to Pluto in your first house.
And the Mars Pluto conjunction took place towards the end of the month.
It was the last of those.
I think it was the 26th or 27th of January.
So I'm wondering, that was the seeding moment for which this square between Mars and Pluto is the opening square.
So anything that was coming up late January for you personally, Aquarius, that now is feeling like, oh, okay, there's some conflict, some pressure, some dynamic that's going on in my private life that's connected to what was begun maybe in January.
That I'm at a point of needing to make some adjustments again, maybe having to do with that sense of feeling safe and secure within your own home.
I'm thinking with Pluto in the first, this is a long, slow process of self actualization.
That's the term that's coming up for me.
So what is it about your home, your family, your parents, your private life, the ways that you feel rooted, that right now is somehow at odds or putting pressure on your sense of a real slow moving desire to self actualize?
There's a process underway of becoming something that's intrinsic.
Something intrinsic to your nature is coming slowly into being, and what is maybe at odds with that, or putting some stop gaps right now that you're having to deal with in your home or with a parent or something like that.
That's maybe hampering this ability to really just become, to be in the process of becoming who you are.
That can be uncomfortable.
It could be literal.
With Mars, something you have, a pipe that breaks or it cuts in the home.
It's not a water sign, so maybe it's not a plumbing issue, but something is going on in the home that brings up a conflict that threatens your sense of feeling safe and secure, and that you have to deal with that even though what you want to be doing is becoming this person, actualizing your dreams.
So that's what I'm thinking of for our Aquarians out there.
Check back in January.
Look at your journals.
What was going on that feels like you're at a point of adjustment right now, or that you're having to come up with some conflict resolution, as we've all said, around something happening at home in order to get back on track with that self actualization journey you're on.
Yeah, awesome.
Thank you so much.
That was great.
Yeah, and again, I will just refrain from adding commentary here, because I am just about up against my time limit, so I want to make sure we have time to just get through everything with a similar time treatment.
So we'll go on last but not least to Mal with water.
Yeah, okay, Pisces rising.
We've got the third house containing this Taurus pile up, and then we have that influence coming in with the square to Pluto in the 12th house of the subconscious.
Now I pulled this book out, which is called "Decolonizing Nonviolent Communication."
It's technically a workbook by Menakem.
I'll put this in the comments on YouTube, because I can't recommend this book enough.
I can't say enough how much this workbook has helped me, and I specifically thought about it for you, Pisces rising, but perhaps decolonizing nonviolent communication could be a good coping mechanism for this month as a whole.
But I was thinking about communication being maybe the theme with the third house and the 12th house, specifically when we're communicating from a conscious place versus when we are letting things slip from the unconscious wounds that we might carry.
And I just wanted to read a really short paragraph about communication from this book, because I think it'll make a lot of sense to Pisces rising specifically this month, but maybe even everybody.
So Menakem writes, "Trauma disables healthy communication by pushing us out of our bodies and making us frightened to ask for what we need.
A key point of decolonizing nonviolent communication is developing the discernment to know when we are communicating from a place of trauma versus when we are communicating from a place of alignment and connection."
And I just thought that was like, yeah, I know that we could talk about that for an hour, but I thought that could be so relevant, especially for the Pisces risings having so much emphasis on the third house, which often does link to how we're mentally and verbally processing things.
Really taking a step back and asking, yeah, where am I communicating from?
And I think there's an opportunity this month to communicate from a very empowered place.
I could see a Pisces rising finally setting that boundary, or finally saying what they want to say without the fear of hurting someone else's feelings.
Even standing up for their creative project or their vision in some way, containing that self autonomy and saying, no, this is my vision.
This is my project.
I'm going to have the confidence to say what I'm going to how I'm going to proceed, and make sure everybody is on the same page.
At the same time, I think there could also be situations where we find ourselves maybe communicating more from that unhealed place, versus the consciousness it requires to really stay in the body while communicating something difficult.
So it's not the end of the world, Pisces rising, if maybe you find yourself in a situation where you communicated something that was maybe harsher or more emotional than you intended.
I think this month does present an opportunity to walk it back a little bit, try again.
Shape your words in the way you really intend them to land, and it's going to be a healing opportunity for you, especially when it comes to the power of your words, the power of saying what you mean, the power of sharing your feelings, the power of setting a boundary or making a request in the right circumstances.
So yeah, I'm excited for you, Pisces risings.
Using your voice this month is important.
Thanks, Mal.
That was great.
I again, I'm a little bit short on time, so I apologize.
Last few signs I didn't get to add much in.
But I thought these takes were really nice and comprehensive.
So I thought everyone did a really nice job today, and hopefully we've given all of you listening something really good to work with here for the month of May.
We'll be covering these transits individually, and may even do some horoscopes in Taurus again later in the month.
So there'll be more where this came from.
But before we leave today, I want to make sure you know how to follow each of these lovely souls.
So let's start with Kelsey on Instagram at metanova.girl.
And then the website that you can find Kelsey's work and booking readings is going to be astrologyrx.com.
All that's still good.
Yep.
Thank you so much.
Anything new happening you want to mention?
I think by the time this is posted, Mal and I will have a Uranus in Taurus retrospective view on her channel.
So check out her socials and check that out.
Nice.
So you can, again, Kelsey is at metanova.girl on Instagram, and then astrologyrx.com.
Speaking of Mal, I have Instagram handle for Mal for you, for all of you listening.
It's at underscore malloryhasty.
Mal, anything you want to add?
I'm back in Chicago now, and back to hosting the Chicago Astrology Group.
So if you're in the Chicago land area and want to attend an in person lecture series that I put together, make sure you follow me on Instagram and or the Chicago Astrology Group on Instagram.
Nice.
That is awesome.
And let me scoot over to Q.
Instagram is at sensual.noir, and you can find Q's work there, along with links in the bio to connect more with Q.
Do I have that right, Q?
Yes, that's perfect.
Perfect.
Books are open, so if you'd like to work with me, go ahead and check it out.
All right.
Yeah, totally.
And really, having any of these folks look at your chart individually is going to go quite a bit deeper.
So I recommend that if you feel a pull toward one of the voices on the panel, that's always a good sign that you probably have a good fit there for an astrologer.
Emily is emilyteatamer.com and then Instagram is at emilyte.astrology.
What's up with you, Emily?
Anything you want to share?
Yeah, YouTube, Emily Te Astrology as well.
Come on over there, you guys.
I put out weekly episodes, and Kelsey and I just released a collaborative episode.
I did one with Whitney Kranz as well.
So my plan is to get all y'all on there.
So, yeah, check me out on YouTube, Emily Te Astrology.
And also, hey, if you're at NORWAC, come say hi next month.
Kelsey and Adam and I will all be there, right?
Yeah, we will be.
Hopeful to see some of you folks soon.
And yeah, on that note, after I sign off, there's going to be an informational video about the year one course that starts in June.
We do have really nice flexible pricing for people who really want to study but might need a little help.
There's also an early bird sale that's in effect now, so check that out.
I'll tell you more about the program next.
So from all of us signing off, see y'all later.
Bye, guys.
