Hey everyone. This is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology [https://nightlightastrology.com/].
Happy Friday, everyone. Today, Mars and Uranus are conjoining in the sign of Gemini. This is one of the most intense transits of the year, certainly a loaded month of July that this transit is also kicking off. So, we're going to take a look at your horoscopes today and give you a feel for where this Mars-Uranus conjunction is landing in your birth chart. You can listen to this for your rising sign, which I recommend, because that's going to be the whole sign version of your birth chart, so it's going to be most accurate. But you can also listen to your sun sign or rising, whatever you prefer. So that's our agenda for the day.
But before we get into it, as always, remember to like and subscribe. It helps us in everything that we do. If you listen regularly and you take two seconds to subscribe, it means a lot to us. It's free to do so. You can find transcripts of these daily talks on our website, that's nightlightastrology.com. Couple of brief promotions before we get to your horoscopes today. Head over to the shop page. You guys know I'm promoting my new book, The Oracle Speaks. I'm also really excited to tell you that the audible version of my book will be coming out later this summer, if you have not yet read it, check it out.
You can order the book directly from the press that we use, the Buy Book US only version. If you're outside the US, you can use Amazon, we have that link there for you too. The Audible version will be coming out later this summer. If you prefer to listen on audio, I'll have more announcements about that later. I'm also having a book release party. Go to the events tab, click on book release party. I'm going to be talking about some of the basic principles of personal storytelling and memoir writing, as well as reading something from the book, answering questions about the book, talking about personal storytelling and the art of storytelling in astrology.
I think it'll be a really fun night. It's free, so if you want to come out, register there, you get the link to attend the live webinar, but you also get the recording if you can't make it live. So, I hope to see some of you there and celebrate the release of my book. I hope you guys will like it. Check it out, if not, it's everything I know about astrology, sort of encrypted into storytelling. It was a joy to write this. It's been a joy to share it with all of you. So, thanks to everyone also for such warm feedback. It's been really, yeah, it's, it's been, it's really touched my heart, so thank you anyway.
Last thing to mention is that under the events page, community quiet every single day at Nightlight, seven days a week, we practice meditation together in community. You can come and hang out with us any day you like. If you need a little reset, some downtime, a place to meet and care for your soul. This is just something I'm doing to try and make sure that this channel is intentional about bringing spirituality and astrology together, spiritual self-care. There's no doctrines or dogmas around this, it's just get together and sit quietly. It's literally that simple. I think there's a lot of value in it. So, hope you'll come check it out.
Um, what else.. um, let's look at.. oh, you know, what I forgot to, I forgot to tell you guys an announcement. Pretty soon, on the website, there's going to be a page announcing that we have been - our school has been approved by the APAI, which is an international certifying board that recognizes institutions of astrological learning, and sort of, it's sort of like an accrediting body for astrology schools, and it's a really prestigious one, in my humble opinion, that we, we were really, we put a lot of thought into our application, and trying to be a part of this, so that the people who are certified from our programs can also be certified by the APA, I, which is an internationally recognized body that lists certified astrologers through a variety of programs that have been vetted by a council of astrologers, so to speak.
So, anyway, that API certification will be available in the next year for people who go through all of our first, second, and third year programs. That's just a really, really cool development that I'm super excited about anyway. Okay, there'll be more of a formal announcement about that later. But here's the Chepso, our official astrology software. You can get the perpetual discount of 20% off on your subscription to Necep, so by using the link that's in the description of this video or the comment section. Here we can see on the screen, we can see that Mars and Uranus are coming to I will circle it right here, so you can see there's the two planets.
This is Friday, July 3, and if I push this forward just one day, you'll see that by tomorrow afternoon, July 4, the two planets have officially separated from each other. And we did an archetypal deep dive on this somewhat recently on the channel, just looking at Mars Uranus as a combination, and why it's, it's one to, you know, really, really good, you want to get to know it. I think the phrase I used was this one on Fourth of July. It has 'blow your finger off' energy around playing with fireworks, but yeah, this is a very powerful combination that brings the god of force and action and will and conflict and war and violence, all the kind of terrible Mars things, but along with things like courage and risk taking and pioneering and strong, decisive, courageous, bold action Mars with the god of revolution and sudden unpredictable.
Acceptable, erratic, but creative breakthroughs. So, these two planets getting together can create some very powerful, creative moments of dynamism and breakthrough, and they can also bring erratic and sort of destabilizing and aggressive energies that can be a lot. Be careful of your caffeine intake around this one. But anyway, what I want to do today is look at your whole sign horoscopes. What I'm going to do is I'm going to isolate everything that we see on the screen right now. We're going to slowly take out every planet except for Mars and Uranus, and we're going to isolate, we're going to get rid of the nodes, and I'm going to go through each whole sign horoscope with some notes for all of you.
And actually, let's back this up one day. We'll get this on. You can see the exact time of their meeting is Saturday, July 4, at about one in the morning, that's central time, but yeah, so we're going to advance this one whole sign house at a time, which is how horoscopes are done, and you can listen to this for your sun, moon, rising, whatever you prefer. The reason I recommend rising is because if you're in Aries rising, this is exactly what your chart looks like from the whole sign house perspective of traditional astrology, that means the transit location will be precise in your natal chart, but if you use a different quadrant-based house system, then you prefer listening to your sun sign or something, that's fine too.
So, whatever you listen to, we're going to go through these Aries through Pisces, and I've just got some, I think, some rather quick hitting things to say, but hopefully it will help us get a feel for where the Mars-Uranus energy is appearing in our lives, and what we ought to keep in mind. So, let's start with Aries, where Mars and Uranus, one of the most powerful transits of the year for all of us, is coming together in your third house. I would think about unexpected news or announcements, I would think about disruption in travel, transportation, or commuting. I would think about potential conflict or sudden shifts or changes, maybe a little erratic with things like siblings, with neighbors, or with one of the significations of third house is kin, so not usually your parents, but family members around you.
Any kinds of sudden changes, innovations, breakthroughs, or decisive turning points with respect to things like technology, writing, teaching, communication, learning, skill development, or acquisition, anything that's mechanical or technological that presents a problem or an obstacle. This, unfortunately, is like, okay, you know, be really careful of those fender benders, or you know, if it says change your oil, be sure to change your oil, because you could get some kind of malfunction. But let's hope not, right? Let's hope that what's really happening is you have very interesting things to say, and you're not scared to say them. You're writing them down, you're getting them out, you're advancing rapidly in your mental or intellectual understanding of something, those are the most exciting things to think about with this one.
Now, let's go to Taurus. For Taurus rising, we place Gemini, we place the Mars-Uranus conjunction into your second house. Think about things like unexpected expenses or financial volatility as a worst-case scenario, but also unexpected opportunities to earn money or new revenue or income streams. There could be changes involving investments, assets, resources, that could be time, money, energy, or anything else that constitutes something you own or possess, and how you're using it could be something around impulsive purchases or investments that I would be a little bit careful of, also any kind of conflict, or let's call it revolution around income resources or earning power or potential.
I would also say that there could be something really innovative in using something that you have or using something differently. It's like there's a, there's almost like an inventor in this combination that says I can make something out of something, it's like MacGyver, you remember MacGyver, I can make something out of a Snickers bar and a hair pin, yeah, so innovation around your resources comes to my mind as one of the most exciting pieces here. If you're a Gemini rising, it's in your first house of identity, and so this urge toward independence at all costs, taking decisive actions that more clearly define your sense of selfhood or identity. This is a little accident-prone. I would be careful of that, but it's also about physical vitality and getting excited or inspired to be more athletic or active somehow.
There also could be major breakthroughs when it comes to knowing something about yourself, saying or doing something that represents advance. Best understanding of who you are, or what's most authentic to who to you. You may come off as a little unusual, or eccentric, or bold, or provocative, or unpredictable. So, if you don't want to be that way, think it over, but also you may have to be that way. It may be somehow necessary right now. I think the main thing that I would think of is this very strong desire to break out of habits or routines or limiting ideas or self concepts, and saying, no, I'm someone different, I'm someone new, you, you don't own me, you know, you can't control me, so let's, let's play with it like that, all right, uh, Cancer rising, we put this into the 12th house, well, I I would say, you know, things hidden, things coming to the surface, surprising or startling things that have been unconscious, secretive, or hidden, suddenly coming to light.
I would say there might be a need to break away and have some kind of retreat or departure from the world, it's like a sudden moment of, like, I just need to go for a walk by myself with my journal or just with my own thoughts. So, the sudden need or urge to break free and find solitude or retreat from the world could, could take place. You could also be looking at destabilizing energies mentally or or technologically. technologically, and I guess the other thing that comes to my mind is, what, what is getting stirred up that you couldn't previously see that needs to be seen right now, the unconscious piece of the 12th house. In what ways are you becoming aware of self-defeating or self-destructive qualities within yourself, all of these potentials here.
I also think that the potential to really be liberated and free from something that has been a burden. This is a Moksha house, after all, and Mars, Uranus, and the 12th could really free you from something that it really is time to let go of. All right, for Leos, I'm almost like immediately I almost see like a group being torn apart by conflict or a change in your friendships or your social networks or alliances. There could be new groups or communities or friendships or allies that are forming, but also I wouldn't be surprised if there were sudden rifts or almost like little schisms or clicks that are forming, and that you're having to decide very carefully which, if you want to participate in this or not.
There could be conflicts within places that are collaborative, and also the potential for breakthroughs to occur because of allies or collaborations, like this is as much as Mars, Uranus can be erratic and sort of destabilizing and destructive, it can also be the impetus for revolution creatively, and so, How is that entering the social scene of the 11th house, right now, that comes to mind as a potential blessing, like, hey, let's get excited and involved in something collaborative that constitutes a real creative breakthrough, a professional breakthrough. All right, we go forward to Virgo now. Virgo rising, we take the Mars-Uranus combination into the 10th house, a place of career, a place of the public and the workplace. Career developments with Uranus there right now are already peaking for you. It is a time to be revolutionizing something about your workplace, or your role, or your career, your the way that you interact with the public sphere, your public reputation is maybe changing rapidly, or your sense of professional vocation direction needs to break the mold.
There's new patterns that are seeking to establish themselves in the 10th house. Mars is activating that and making it happen more quickly or suddenly, that means public reputation, job, workplace, career developments happening sort of creatively, but a little erratically right now. There might be some unexpected opportunities that come up in your professional life that would be exciting, but conflict with employers or bosses or authority figures in the workplace would be something to be a little cautious about. Otherwise, I just think that this, this is maybe one of the first transits to really stimulate the revolution of Uranus in your 10th house. So, watch for this to be one of the first major inflection points for career revolution or public, sort of public-facing revolution.
All right. Well, let's go to Libra rising. With Libra rising, Gemini goes into the ninth house. We have a house associated with philosophy and wisdom, learning sages, teachers, gurus, even astrology. And so, when we're seeking truth at. Mars, Uranus come together in this house. They create breakthroughs in perception, in cognition, in understanding, and awareness, in learning, and intellect. So, I love this for Libras, as it's kind of a strong desire to study or teach something new. Your beliefs or your philosophical outlooks being changed, like really rapidly, with maybe a lot of passion or excitement, maybe there's some kind of travel abroad taking place, or the intention to go back to school, but I really like this as pressing the Iranian agenda to revolutionize your intellectual belief, your beliefs, or your intellectual understanding of something.
These two planets together are like, do you get the point? Here's the point. The point I'm trying to make, you know, this is the universe speaking. Here's the point I'm trying to make, and it ought to be kind of profound, and ought to break you out of familiar ways of thinking about something. All right. Well, we go to Scorpios next, and for Scorpio rising, we have Gemini in the eighth, which means Mars, Uranus is getting together in a place that is all about debts. A debt is a natural part of life. We, everything is reciprocal, you know. We breathe the air and it gives to us and we give back to the world through our exhalation, so there's always a give and take, and the eighth house is really fundamentally about life being interdependent, and so I give and I receive, I take and I'm, and then I'm taken from, I use and then I'm used, you know, but I give generously and I receive generously, so all of the exchanges, the soul level contracts that are there for us are part of the eighth house, but so too is liberation from those that entangle us and that are destructive to the soul, to the soul's evolution.
Let's say, so Mars, Uranus in this house can create sudden changes that liberate us from entanglements. This is its most wonderful superpower. You could get free of debt, get free of a tax burden, get free of some kind of contract, emotionally, psychologically. The transformation here can be sudden, quick, fast, and liberating from things that have entangled or ensnared. Now, on the other hand, the transformation and the release of bondage can be sudden, erratic, and a little intense. So be prepared for transformation to feel very quick, very fast, very intense, very unexpected. But nonetheless, it will free something up. So these are the things to watch for if you're a Scorpio.
Now let's go forward to Sagittarius, which places the Mars Uranus conjunction into the seventh. Well, partnerships are going to change rapidly, quickly, dynamically, which can be very creative and exciting. I mean, this is dating someone really brand new and exciting. This is getting out of a relationship really quickly and rapidly, because a series of events unfolds that makes it clear that you need more freedom, so conflicts with spouses or intimate people that you work with, or very close one on one relationships are affected by this, usually creating breakthroughs and revolution within the way you work together, what you're working on together, or the direction of the relationship, or either bringing you together with someone new or breaking you apart from someone, but all of the conflicts that come up with this are meant to create freedom and progress and change and innovation, so keep that in mind, because it really isn't a negative thing at all to go through something like this.
Now, for Capricorns, we're looking at the sixth house, in that sixth house, we're thinking about work, sacrifice, duty, some sense of service as natural parts of everyday life. It's not the fun part of life, but it is necessary. If you want to build anything, you have to work at it. It's not fun to work at it. We want the result, we don't want the work. If you care about something, and you see the world could be more ideal in this way or that way. Well, then you have to sacrifice, be in service, and work toward it. So, in this, in this way, these two planets here are they could do a couple of different things. One, they could change the way you work, so that literal techniques, or mechanics, or technologies or approaches or strategies to how you work, how you labor, how you work through the grind, the everyday grind of your job, or what you're learning, or studying, or what you sacrifice, or in service to, could become easier, freer, faster, more effective, which is great.
On the other hand, the natural quality of the sixth house is that every day it includes adversity, I have to make money to put, to pay the bills, to get the food on the table, blah blah blah. So there's a, there's a hard work under the sun kind of quality that the work never ends. You wish that it would end, but there's a kind of never-ending, always struggling, always working quality. To the sixth house. Well, Mars, Uranus here can erratically or spontaneously provide you with challenges or hurdles. I think from an evolutionary perspective, these are intelligent, deliberate, designed for us. They're not things that are just trying to mess us up, but we have to have eyes to see that when challenges come up that feel really erratic and destabilizing nonetheless, how we meet those challenges, what insight they provide us with, what wisdom they, they provide, that's everything for a transit like this, so that doesn't just become a pain in the ass, but but also when you really care about something and something is really your mind is opening, your heart is opening, your creativity is opening in a new direction, and inspiration is pouring through.
The feeling of naturally being able to work hard at something is oftentimes easy, doesn't make the work any less hard, but it makes it endurable, because you, you've located the why. I know why I'm doing this, and it really matters. The breakthroughs can happen like that with Uranus in the sixth that are pretty profound. Where look, I know it's going to take a lot of work, but I feel fully on board. It's like someone realizing they want to join the resistance, you know, against the Empire in Star Wars. It's going to be hard work, it's going to require dedication, sacrifice, maybe even some battles, but I'm a member of the rebellion, you know, something like that. All right, let's go to Aquarius. So, Aquarius rising puts Gemini into the fifth. So, Mars, Uranus getting together in the house of creativity, I could see there being some really unexpected romantic or creative energies, creative inspiration that arrives really suddenly.
I would also say that this is the unplanned for pregnancy, or you know, like something like that. Any, any kind of unexpected developments around children or kids or their behavior could come up here, but I think the creative piece is probably what will resonate for a lot of you, and to me this means there's there's there's the need to sort of press the gas pedal on something creative that you're really excited about. Mars is like the gas pedal, and Uranus is the creative excitement in the fifth house. It's I really want to learn how to play guitar, or I'm really getting passionate and excited about studying the language of astrology, whatever the case might be. So just keep in mind that the Uranus-Mars conjunction here is trying to activate and stimulate creative growth and awakening, and breaking the mold, and breaking the pattern of what makes you happy, or helping you get to know yourself, or bringing out sort of latent or hidden creative talents or abilities.
All right. Last, but not least, we've got Pisces. This takes Mars Uranus into the fourth house, so, of course, there's going to be sudden, somewhat erratic pattern-breaking changes around home and family that could be relocation, renovation, buying a second property, maybe a getting a timeshare, you know, just things like that are pretty common with Uranus in the fourth. Household repairs are common, appliance changes are common, technology in the household having, I don't know, new Wi-Fi installed or something, but also the destabilizing or revolution at the roots often comes in your family relationships. The family unit is going through a shake-up. Sometimes that means new people are entering the family through marriage, or new children are coming in, or, you know, the elders are leaving their bodies.
Revolution at the roots means that domestic matters will accelerate, and the pattern will change or break rapidly, unexpectedly, and how you meet or deal with shakeups or conflict at the roots is also really important right now to me. This also means that there's ancestral karma that might be coming up, so you know, one way of processing anything that's happening around home and family is to think about how generational patterns are seeking change or transformation through you, through your heart and soul, and your contribution. Well, that's what I've got for today. I hope that these horoscopes are a blessing to you as we head into a holiday weekend here in the US, I'm always.. I'll say, I'll say one little thing about the Fourth of July.
As a cancer, you know, I don't believe that I'm just.. I'm just someone who I don't believe that taking some, some measure of healthy pride and love for the country that you live in runs contrary to thinking that the country you live in is less than ideal or needs work or is imperfect, so sometimes every year, you know, I'll post something we're doing with the kids for the fourth of July or whatever, and people will sometimes be like, "Why are you celebrating this horrible place? and I'm like, "Yeah, I don't. You know, it's sometimes I feel like we're in the last moments of the Roman Empire, and I see why people would be really hesitant, but I, for as imperfect and flawed as the history of this place is, it's the only place I've ever, you know, called home, and I'm sure there are many places on the planet I'd probably prefer to call home, but I, as a cancer, and this cancer season, I always try to just be grateful, and you know, doing that with my girls, mostly just getting to see them enjoy some candy and colors, and you know, in the fireworks, they, they really enjoy that.
So I try to hold the tension of those things at this time of year, in case that's helpful for those of you who also struggle to hold that tension, maybe you don't, and that's fine too, but yeah, so I'll be, I'll be excited to see how this Fourth of July plays out collectively and personally, you know, globally, but also like here in the US, as the Mars-Uranus conjunction comes together over kind of profound, you know, moment like the declaration of Independence, the, you know, the, the Revolutionary War, Uranus, Mars is a pretty good echo for some of those things, and I, and I wonder if some of those things aren't present right now, somehow. I don't know, because I'm recording this in advance, right, so we'll see, but anyway, these are wandering thoughts. I'm not sure how meaningful they are, so I'll just leave it there before I wander off somewhere.
So I hope you have a great weekend, if you're celebrating the fourth, and I hope you have a pleasant and safe experience. And mostly I'm just grateful that I have this community as a part of my life, and I hope this channel offers something of a blessing to you, wherever you're at in life. I hope you feel a little bit more at home, because you know that you're a part of a cosmos that's meaningful, and that you have some community here on this channel, however small, or whatever little role it plays in your day, that's that's positive, that provides blessings and insight, that's always the goal here, and will continue to be. So, have a great weekend, everyone. We'll see you again next time. Bye.
