There are moments in the astrological year that feel less like a transit and more like a conversation the cosmos is having with the soul directly. As Mercury prepares to turn retrograde in the oceanic sign of Pisces, we find ourselves standing at the edge of just such a moment. It is not a time for rushing forward with a clear map, but rather for sitting with the mist, listening to the poetry that arises when the rational mind finally agrees to let the heart do some of the navigating.

This particular retrograde cycle is unique because Mercury is traveling closely with an exalted Venus, and together they are moving through the waters of Pisces—the domain of dreams, imagination, and spiritual yearning. If you have been feeling a pull toward the past, a softening of your usual boundaries, or a strange nostalgia for something you cannot quite name, you are not imagining it. You are feeling the astrology of the soul reweaving its own story.
In this video, we walk through the entire retrograde from start to finish, focusing on the critical turning points: the station, the conjunction with Venus, the Cazimi with the Sun, and the eventual handoff to a direct Jupiter. More importantly, we look at where this is happening in your own chart. For each of the 12 signs, we explore what is being revisited, revised, and re-enchanted in your life right now.
There is a difference between confusion and mystery. Confusion asks us to find an answer. Mystery asks us to find a meaning. As Mercury retrogrades through the domain of Pisces, it invites us to stop solving for X and start listening for the poetry hidden in the plot twists. The soul rarely speaks in bullet points. It speaks in symbols, in yearnings, and in the quiet return of people and dreams we thought we had left behind.
Whether this retrograde is activating your house of relationships, career, home, or spirit, the invitation is the same: to let the revision be as compassionate as it is clear.

Hey everyone. This is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology [https://nightlightastrology.com/].
Happy Monday, everybody. Today, we're going to take a look at Mercury's upcoming retrograde in the sign of Pisces. It's a really big retrograde for a variety of reasons. I'm going to walk you through all the reasons that make this retrograde so powerful, especially its connection to the next eclipse that's coming up in the sign of Virgo, but we're going to cover a variety of transits that will occur during the retrograde that become really powerful because of it.
But then, more practically, we're going to get into your horoscopes today, and I've got something to say for each sign with respect to this upcoming retrograde that will hopefully be, you know, helping you prepare and think about what might be coming as Mercury returns retrograde later this week. So that's our agenda for the day.
Before we get into it, as always, remember to like and subscribe. We would love people who watch regularly but are not yet subscribed to take that two seconds and subscribe, because it helps us grow and sustain what we do. It's a simple thing that you can do to give back for the content that you receive. We really appreciate it. Transcripts of any of these daily talks can be found, of course, on our website. That's NightlightAstrology.com.
There are a few things I want to promote. First of all, if this is a part of your spiritual life, and it is like part of your spiritual self care, your spiritual nutrition, to take in astrology, then I hope you'll click on the events page go to daily meditation group. We have daily free meditation every single morning, seven days a week, that you can pop in on whenever you want. I want people to know that this is a channel that is about that spiritual focus in life, about that spiritual practice and self care. And this is something I can do to give back a little bit. It was inspired by the Buddhist monks who are walking.
So we've been meeting daily for, oh, I'm getting closer to 40 days now. We're going to keep meeting every day throughout the year. Everything you need to know about the group is here, including the schedule. We meet Monday through Saturdays at 9:30 Central, 8:30 Central Time. And on Sundays, we meet at 11:30 Eastern and 10:30 Central time for quiet meditation. And then on Sundays, we have some reflection and sharing so that you can integrate and process what's been happening in that group setting. So that is free. I hope to see some of you there. Our numbers have been growing. It's been great to share that with all of you. So I hope you'll check that out.
Our immersive retreat to Mexico, a deep immersion into the oracular arts and how to really how to develop and fine tune a relationship, a living relationship, with the Oracle. That's the focus of this immersive, kind of healing retreat that we're doing that's in June. We have 15 spots remaining as of the time I'm making this, or maybe a little bit less than that now. I can't remember, but anyway, there's not a whole lot of spots left. Registration ends on March 14. So do take advantage of that if you want to go and then go to live talks, and you're going to see that. I recently gave a talk on psychedelics and astrology. Next month, my talk in March is on the first house, so you may want to check that one out. That's going to be a really fun talk. And if you can't make it live, of course, you get the recording as always.
The other thing that I want to highlight is, if you are in the Minneapolis St Paul area, we are holding a night for reflection, sharing, group processing for everything that's been happening in the Minneapolis Twin Cities area. That's going to be a group meditation and quite a little meditation on the spring equinox, on Friday, March 6. It is free to attend. All you got to do is RSVP. It's at the Grapevine Collective, which is in the New City Center in Minneapolis.
And then finally, our reading services need based astrology and horary readings. I do the horary reading staff does the natal chart readings. Check those out in case they could be of use to you. Flexible pricing. We have that intentionally to make sure that people who are in need of a reading aren't priced out. There's some flexible tiers of pricing that we have our staff on, and it's something we do as a part of our mission to make sure astrology is accessible. So yeah, just a few things there.
But let's put the real time clock up now and get into this upcoming Mercury retrograde cycle. There are a few things that make this cycle really powerful. The first is that we have to notice the dignity of Mercury. Mercury is in the sign of its fall, or its depression, sometimes called, and it is also in the sign of its detriment. That dual rulership of both detriment and fall is peculiar. It's something we unpack in my programs when we get deeper into the study of essential dignities. For now, all you need to know really is that this is a somewhat challenging place for Mercury, because it finds itself in the watery feminine double body domain of Jupiter and Venus.
Venus is exalted here. Jupiter is in its domicile, and that makes this place something of a polar opposite to what Mercury is all about. Mercury is a planet associated with the rational mind, kind of the technical, analytical mind, the hermeneutic, interpretive delineating mind, master of speech and discourse, interpretation, technical skills, technology, inventiveness, rationality. You place that in the sign of Venus's exaltation and Jupiter's feminine domicile, and it can lose touch with its rational ground and rational container a little bit more easily.
Now, for many people, that will be welcome. It's a little bit more poetic. It's a little bit more imaginative. It's a romantic, fluid, imaginative, otherworldly, mystical, inspired, yearning, emotional kind of Mercury. And for many people, that might bring soothing and calm and a kind of pacifying mental energy and that's not necessarily a bad thing, but the beware is the potential for a loss or lack of clarity or boundaries, fuzzy thinking, idealistic projections that haven't been rationally thought out. Those are some of the tensions that come up with a retrograde like this. So it is a little extra from the standpoint of the dignity.
Now we're looking at this on Monday, February 23, but the retrograde isn't taking place. You can see the little s appearing near Mercury. That's the station that's not happening until Wednesday, February 25, and then the retrograde turns by Friday. So we're really talking about something that forms from midweek to late week in terms of the station. Stations are the most powerful moments, typically, of the retrograde cycle when it comes to things sort of breaking down or getting delayed, or, you know, your plans kind of going off, off script.
The reason for that is that the planet's motion is stopping and that symbolically correlates to or mirrors flow or progress reaching a halt, or there being impediments or obstacles or twists or turns of plot that are somewhat inconvenient in the dignity of Mercury matters. And so this turning point, this prohibition or block or delay or setback or twist of plot could be influenced by some of the tensions that I just described. A twist of plot that comes because you realize you weren't seeing something clearly, or a twist of plot that comes because of a moment of imagination and fantasy, a twist of plot that comes with a sense of boundarylessness or lack of clarity or clear insight.
However, what's very exciting about this particular retrograde is that it starts by the end of the week in a conjunction with exalted Venus. Now that exalted Venus is just gradually gaining more and more separation from the sun and rising into more of her own power as an evening star. And that's good. In other words, we have a Venus that's protected in her own chariot, though she's under the beams of the sun. She's not really hampered by that position. She's in her exaltation. She's conjoining the start of the Mercury retrograde and an exalted benefic is a good thing. You know, generally speaking, Venus will translate that quality that she has into things like pleasantness, good fortune, harmonization, goodwill, friendliness, attractiveness, magnetism, charm, a likability, and also just blessings and fortunate turns of event. So the start of this retrograde is really interesting. You've got a banged up Mercury a little bit, but one that's conjoining exalted, exalted romantic Venus.
The other thing that's interesting about this retrograde is that the retrograde is hosted, as are all the other planets, including the north node of the Moon in Pisces by Jupiter. Jupiter is in Cancer, and as it picks up the trine from the sun in the next week, it will station and turn direct. So this is a kind of a double turning point. In other words, we have a Mercury retrograde in Jupiter's sign going through a transformational process that's intimately tied to Jupiter turning direct. Well, Jupiter's turning direct having finished something in the Jupiter in Cancer part of our chart, or the Cancerian whole sign house of our chart, I should say. It is, in other words, closely tied to whatever cyclical revisions and changes Mercury is bringing in the Pisces part of our chart.
So one thing that I recommend doing, although today we're going to focus on the whole sign house of Pisces, is to think about the connection happening in your chart between those two houses, which are trine to one another, Cancer and Pisces, because there are processes reaching critical turning points, really, in both houses, and a lot of that will take place in the next two weeks as the Mercury retrograde is fully active.
Now, if we take this forward a little bit, there are a couple of interesting points during the Mercury retrograde process that I want to highlight that we'll be coming back to on the channel as the progression of the cycle occurs. So first of all, Mercury, once it gets to within about eight degrees of the sun, it's departed from Venus. This is probably one of the more difficult parts of the process. It's a bit of a breakdown. There's a breakdown, maybe breakdowns in communication, a clear sense of direction or intention or understanding, contracts, negotiations could be strained. It could be that motivations aren't clear, or that there are things that are hidden. Projections, illusions, fantasies, intoxication, things like that, could become a little bit more problematic as Mercury reaches this spot of being under the beams that's from about March 2 onward, up until the cazimi.
Now, interestingly, it's going to be that cazimi moment, and the cazimi moment is taking place between March 6 and 7th, that Mercury will cross through the face and fire of the sun. That's Mercury's critical moment of transformation. As that occurs and Mercury pulls into the other side of its retrogradation cycle, starting to rise as the morning star, in other words, it is going to immediately trine Jupiter, its host. And this is the spot at which Jupiter is also turning direct.
I guess we have a yellow arrow for some reason. I don't know. That's the first time. Have you guys ever seen a yellow arrow on my channel before? I don't think I've ever seen one. Alright, I don't know why that happened. Let's just, now it's pink. Okay, no idea.
So Mercury's host is Jupiter. It connects with Jupiter in the trine right after the cazimi. Now, if you go forward just a couple more days now, you're going to see that by March 10, Jupiter is stationing and turning direct. And so there's a handoff between the retrograde of Mercury crossing the sun and reaching through its alchemical transformation toward Jupiter, its host, who then completes its transformation. It's a switch. It's a swap. It's a form of support that completes a transformational process. That is a really interesting inflection moment in the cycle.
Take it forward just a little bit more, and we're going to see that Mercury, toward the very tail end of the retrograde, comes through a conjunction with Mars in Pisces. That conjunction is also going to be a little intense, as Mercury is also starting to gain some real distance from the sun and will slowly appear as the morning star. That right there you can see the cross of Mercury and Mars, so that becomes a critical moment in the cycle as well. And then at the same time, Mercury will conjoin the north node of the moon. And then right as it does that, within the conjunction to the north node, it stations and turns direct. And then that's the end of the cycle by late March. So we're talking about a process of about a month, a little less than a month, between three and four weeks' worth of this cycle unfolding from this point forward. That journey, all those little pieces I just outlined, we're going to be visiting on the channel as we go. I just wanted to outline them for you now so you understand a little bit of what the cycle is about.
The next thing we're going to do is we are going to take a look at the whole sign house of Pisces for all 12 signs. We're going to get a feel for exactly what is going on. Now what I'm going to do is go house by house and just give you some kind of key ideas to work with for each sign. I want to remind you that we have horoscopic overviews for each month that I do with a team of Nightlight alumni who are in the process of building their platforms. So you know all of them, Kelsey, Q, Mal, and Emily, will be here on Friday, and we're going to be deepening this.
Because the one thing I didn't mention that we'll be mentioning on Friday is the fact that this Mercury retrograde also rules the lunar eclipse in Virgo. The lunar eclipse in Virgo will be coming through shortly. So we're talking about that as a separate piece of content. And that's really like March 13 is when that comes through. So horoscopes for the month of April or for March, excuse me, will focus on the eclipse with Mercury retrograde as its ruler. So just know that if you're kind of curious about the intersection between this Mercury retrograde and the eclipse in Virgo, that'll be coming at the end of this week in another set of horoscopes.
All right. Well, on that note, let's put the real time clock back up, and we're going to walk through this one sign at a time, and I'm just going to give you some key ideas for each whole sign house placement, given that you have about a full month of activity in this house, but excluding the lunar eclipse piece of it, because, again, we'll be visiting that in a separate series of horoscopes later in the week.
So for Aries rising or sun, if you want to listen to either, we're talking about a retrograde taking place in your 12th house. I wonder about revisiting old dreams, or like recurring dreams, or even nightmares that could yield a lot of insight. Watch for things coming up again from the unconscious. Sometimes I find that I have dreams that I haven't finished, like require moments for college or something. You know, they seem to crop up during certain seasons, like, oh, these dreams are back. And I've done a lot of interesting work looking at those recurring patterns of dreams in therapy. I wonder if something like that is coming up for Aries right now.
But either way, your spiritual insights as they arise from a more unconscious or hidden or secretive place, it's a great time for retreat, prayer, quiet, time, making art, solitude, and for the insights that may arise out of intentional creation of those kinds of spaces. It could be that you're reconnecting with someone from the past in a little bit of a subtle or behind the scenes kind of way. But watch for unclear boundaries, or watch for people that maybe aren't the healthiest, that undermine your health or well being in some way. I would say to watch out for romantic ideas, idealizations, excuse me, that are operating somewhat unconsciously. Watch for like rescuing or saving dynamics: "I'm going to rescue, I'm going to heal you, I'm going to save you," or anything that's like a bond rooted in some kind of fantasy or projection. Also, this is a really good time for just doing some compassionate self reflection, like if I need to learn how to forgive myself, or include some part of myself that feels like it's a bit excluded. Looking in the unconscious domain is really productive right now in the 12th house.
Let's move forward to Taurus. So for Taurus, risings or sun, you have Mercury retrograde in Pisces in the 11th house. There may be a need to reconfigure or redesign certain friendships, group or community ties. Maybe there's heartfelt connections with old allies that are returning. It wouldn't be surprising if, for example, there was mending of old hurts with certain friendships that happened, or if there's some level of collaboration that's occurring artistically, spiritually.
If you find that there are friends or allies that are entering or exiting your life, also be careful of idealizing certain people or friends or allies, and be mindful about the potential for boundaries to become blurry in group settings or among allies or colleagues in your field, and the give and take and the careful exchange of values or services or support. Make sure that everything's measured and thoughtful and not rooted in idealization or fantasy.
There's also maybe long term dreams or goals are part of the 11th house. And so what are you creating? What do you imagine as the right kind of community engagement or involvement? Who are the right friends and allies? How are you kind of reconsidering those, reprioritizing or revaluing them in some way? Those are things that come to my mind for Tauruses now.
For Geminis. Whoops, I just went backward. I don't know why I did that. Let's go backward. Here we go. Sorry about that. Oh, no, we need. I went backward by several days. I think I went backward by like a week. That was wild. Let's try this again. Sorry, everyone.
Alright, we're moving to Geminis now, so let me just get this up. Here we go, the Gemini rising or sun sign, you have this Mercury retrograde in Pisces in your 10th house. I wonder if there is some kind of revising or shifting of dynamics in the workplace, contracts and agreements, a different way of speaking or voicing your intelligence, your gifts, your crafts, your abilities. Maybe a softer, smoother, more graceful, empathetic or artistic way of voicing, speaking, offering something.
There could be some need to explore or revisit the dynamics of certain, let's call them public or professional relationships. Diplomacy, charm, tact may be important right now. There may be confusion or direction around your role or leadership or lines of communication in the workplace. You want to be careful to clarify boundaries and be really clear and direct about things, if anything like that is happening. And then I wonder about just changing the direction or nature of your work or your priorities, what you want to be involved in, what feels meaningful with your work. Those are things that come to my mind for Geminis.
Let's go forward to Cancers. So for Cancers, we take this Mercury retrograde and place it in the ninth house. And I wonder about spiritual paths, teachers, subjects from the past that are coming back or potential revisiting or revising of belief systems, paradigms, structures. If you're a teacher, this could be a time where you revisit or revise a curriculum that you have for your classrooms. It's a really nice time for study of poetry, feminine artistic subjects. Mystical insight, learning with an aura of like devotion and romance. You want to guard against fantasies, rose-colored beliefs, maybe gurus or settings that feel ungrounded or unsafe.
But also there's an ability here to soften views that are maybe too intense or that have narrowed, that need to open more or shift in order to accommodate something. I like this as a time of reflecting on, reviewing, revising beliefs. There could be some shifting with regard to plans, travel plans, things that involve international travel or foreign countries.
Let's go forward to Leos. So for Leos, the Mercury retrograde is in your eighth house. Makes me wonder about vulnerable emotional conversations in relationships, especially if relationship dynamics are codependent in any way, financially, emotionally. If there needs to be a revising of soul contracts. Who gets what? Who's doing what? Who owes what? It's a good time to pay off debts or renegotiate the terms of contracts.
Karmically speaking, there may be a need for deeper or greater emotional vulnerability in love and relationships, because this is a place of pretty deep intimacy and sharing. There may also be things that are fuzzy that need to be clarified in terms of things like loans or debts or taxes, or you want to double check basically all agreements and contracts where there's a give and take, or there's an expectation that one person owes another person something. And then just being released from emotional complexes or patterns in relationships that entangle rather than respect and free each other, you know, keep each other's freedom intact.
Well, for Virgos, we're talking about the retrograde in your seventh house. So anything that needs to be revisited, revised or reflected upon in intimate partnerships, relationships, interpersonal relationships. If it's an apology that needs to be given, a reconciliation that needs to be made, therapy that needs to be attended, or if there's a kind of a natural way in which you're going back to reconsider someone else's perspective, or you're saying, hey, you know, in order for this relationship to evolve, someone's perspective needs to be taken into consideration more than it has been.
A surge of empathy and forgiveness between partners would be natural right here, as would projection and idealization, where you see what you wish was true rather than what is true about someone that you're with. I think here there's an opportunity to understand that love requires boundaries, discipline, duty as well as sweetness, compassion and emotional connection. Those things in balance seem to be at play in the seventh house right now for Virgos. Any major changes in relationships would be fitting, though.
Alright, for Libras, we're talking about the Mercury retrograde in your sixth house. If you employ people or you have co-workers, you're thinking about compassionate communication dynamics, or people that might be suffering that you employ or work for or with. I think about things like bringing a more sensitive psychological understanding or awareness to the daily work that you do, to the daily upkeep, the daily tasks and daily health. Is there a need to rethink your habits? In other words, when it comes to rest, boundaries, work, labor, sacrifice and service play a strong role in this house.
But the Mercury retrograde may also have you reviewing or revising which forms of sacrifice, commitment, labor, duty are the ones that you feel aligned with. That typically happens with retrogrades in the sixth or major transits of the sixth in general, sort of like sacrifice is a part of life, but how much does it work to sacrifice for things that you don't really think are valuable? So those are some things that come to my mind in the sixth, as well as kind of empathy, compassionate, charitable acts of service, helping those who are suffering. There's some strong themes around that.
All right, we go to Scorpio next, and we get the Mercury retrograde into the fifth house. I think especially with Venus at the start of the cycle, this is a pretty romantic, dreamy period where things like music or poetry or art or romance could flow a lot more naturally, or maybe more important, somehow. There is a possibility for old love affairs to rekindle here, as there is sometimes in the seventh when Mercury is retrograde. So like Virgos, for example, may have that theme as well, but revisiting old connections, and that's one thing to watch for.
So the other thing that can come up are like love triangles and kind of romantic situations that become complicated and muddy. Clarity matters here during a transit like this. So be aware of that, that you want to have romance in your life that is not making your life eventually more complicated and painful. Learning to enjoy pleasure without losing discernment is another thing here, because the fifth house has to do with pleasure. Mercury retrograde here with Venus might be excessive or need to be rational about choices it's making with respect to sensual gratification and pleasure.
Otherwise, I think this is about a creative revisioning. What feels alive in you creatively right now? All right, let's go. And maybe the topic of children, pregnancy, that could always come up too.
Now, for Sagittarius, we put this Mercury retrograde in the fourth house, and it's all about family, home, maybe your childhood, your upbringing. Mercury retrogrades here, surprisingly, or not surprisingly, often correlate with redoing something in your home, painting the walls a new color, or rearranging furniture, or getting a feng shui consultant. But aside from practical things you could be doing to revise in your home, like actually the dishwasher needs replaced, or something super basic, watch for water things in the house: dishwashers, sinks, plumbing.
But also just that way that the Mercury retrograde with Venus will have of making you reflect on your upbringing, the psychological dynamics of home and family. Do I feel safe and secure in a private home world that I inhabit, or is there something about it that doesn't feel safe? There's potential for boundary issues around family, family gossip, emotional misunderstandings within the family. But I think broadly speaking, this is about a transit that's about revisiting what home really means to you and how it needs to shift or accommodate different parts of you that exist.
So we'll go forward from here to Capricorns. This place is the Mercury retrograde in your third house, and it really makes me think about any kind of medium of communication, speech, writing, where your voice, your thoughts, your psychology are being poured into some kind of creative medium, an instrument, a piece of writing, something that you're learning, a skill that you're developing. This could be changing your approach or your interests, or could reflect a changing interest, something new you want to learn, a new way of learning, something you've been studying for a while.
There could be things like, you know, things of importance with siblings happening when a retrograde like this happens in the third house: relationships or communication dynamics with siblings or peers. It's also about intuitive thinking and artistic thinking and inspired thinking, and not being too controlled or censored in the way that you speak, but letting things flow. And there could be miscommunications as an emphasis here, and also things as simple as like change of cell phone or change of computer or a different use of technology, or buying a new car. Sometimes things like that happen in the third house because of the emphasis on things like transportation, travel and technology. All right, change of mind, though, change of speech, change of intellect, all pretty common for that retrograde.
Now, Aquarius rising puts Pisces in the second, which means our Mercury retrogrades there. So any kind of reconfiguring of money, of material values, the sustaining, supporting things that are in your material environment, for example, money, food, clothing, shelter, diet, skills you're developing that can aid in making money, business and revenue, anything that literally acts as a support in the environment of support for your material well being and your material existence.
But it could also be about changing how you spend money, or what you spend money on, or how you earn it, how you track the details. And maybe at a deeper level, there's questions about changing values around material sustenance. So look at that for Aquarius taking place in the second house.
Now finally, we put Pisces in the first, where it's the first house, so the retrograde is in the first. So that means it's all about identity and character. This is an important inflection moment with respect to the evolution of your character, like, how are you changing as a person? What is present right now in terms of the feedback you're receiving from other people, and how is it making you reflect upon yourself, your attitude, your behavior, your way of communicating in the world, how you dress or appear to other people.
There may be a heightened sense of charm or magnetism around speech or dress or appearance, given the placement of Mercury and Venus together in the same place, just kind of radiating a gentle, soft sensibility. But there could also be some issues that come up around boundaries, as we've been saying with Mercury all along here. You don't just want to be or think or say what other people want you to so you get positive feedback. That could be a bit of a temptation here.
There's a chance here to embody something new, speak something new, and incorporate a new way of thinking or being into the way you exist. So character evolution, personal identity transformation, psychological personal reflection. That's what's up for you right now.
All right, well, that takes us through and hopefully gives you a nice starting point for considering the upcoming retrograde this week. There's going to be another really important transit coming this week, and that is the square from Mars in late Aquarius to Uranus in late Taurus. We're going to be exploring that this week too, and some horoscopes probably for that one. And then we've got horoscopes for the Mercury retrograde paired with the eclipse in Virgo at the end of the week. So I think some really good things coming up.
Let me show you what's on my altar for the week before we go. And that'll be the last thing I do. So here it is on my altar. My candles, I'm recording later in the day. My candles are already done for the day. Usually I light them in the morning, but I don't think you can really see it. Hold on, let me. There we go. It's a mushroom. You should be able to see a mushroom there in front of the altar. You might be saying to yourself, why in the heck do you have a mushroom? Let me tell you.
So every couple of years, for quite some time now, I go through a period of maybe 30 days where I will microdose psilocybin, very small amounts. We're talking like half of one gram, which is very minuscule. But for about those 30 days, I will kind of commune. I think of mushrooms, not just psilocybin, but any and all kinds of mushrooms, I consider to be teachers and therapeutic aids for many people in the right setting and context. I have a lot of history working with these. I can't recommend anybody else do it, of course, but I'm just saying thank you to the mushrooms for bringing me down the home stretch of about 30 days of working with them in very small, micro doses.
There's been a lot of people who have spoken about that and talked about the value of doing something like that. I'm not going to say much about it other than that. Yeah, last time I did it was 2023, so it's a little bit, almost three years ago. So it's not something that I do very often, but occasionally I find that it is very beneficial to just spend some time with those teachers, and in this way, feels good to me. I have had enough very powerful over the top psychedelic experiences for a lifetime, so I found this therapeutic context to be a little bit more effective for where I'm at in my life right now.
But anyway, just to make sure that I'm not necessarily endorsing that anybody do that. But I want to be honest with you guys about what I do for my spiritual self care, and how I learn and grow and what I say thank you to on my altar. So I'm thanking the living, sentient spirits that live in those plants, and not just them, but plant teachers everywhere.
So anyway, in case that's interesting, there's, again, if you're interested in something like that, don't look to me for advice. Don't email me for advice. There's so many people who have written and spoken meaningfully about working with micro dosing, in that set, in that way, that you can find all sorts of resources. So if you're interested, I recommend you check that out.
But the other thing I'll say, just to make sure that I don't sound reckless, is that I've always paired, for me, the use of any kind of entheogen has always been ceremonial, ritualistic and paired with spiritual practice.
