Hey everyone. This is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology [https://nightlightastrology.com/].
Happy Monday, everyone.
Today, we're going to take a look at Uranus, moving on to the final anaretic degree of Taurus. This is the completion of Uranus's long tour through the sign of Taurus, which started in May of 2018.
So today we are going to do some horoscopes and take a look at what might be finishing or concluding in our lives, from the standpoint of the whole past seven years of Uranus being in this whole sign house of our birth charts. The sign of Taurus, of course, it's moving into Gemini. So we will also be looking at Uranus moving into Gemini as well.
But today, we're going to focus almost exclusively on just what does it mean that Uranus is culminating right now, concluding its work in that last degree of Taurus.
I'm going to give you some general things to think about, and then horoscopes for all 12 signs with some just bullet point delineations to point you in the right direction of what might be happening in your life now as these final days of Uranus in Taurus take place.
I'll outline the timeline for you as well, so you know how long it's going to last, and everything like that.
So before we get into it, as always, remember to like and subscribe. It really helps us out a lot. If you listen to the channel and you're not yet subscribed, it's the simplest way that you can give back for the free content you get on the channel, and we really appreciate it. It helps us meet our goals and keep growing and doing all the things that we do.
You can find transcripts of any of these daily talks on the website, that is NightlightAstrology.com.
A couple of promotions today that I'm going to run through before we get into our horoscopes.
First of all, I'm going to take you over to the website and just so you know, every single day at Nightlight, seven days a week, we have a daily meditation gathering. No doctrines, no dogmas. You don't have to believe anything. There's no technique. It's literally just sitting quietly in community.
We do this seven days a week. You can check it all out under the Events tab at Nightlight, go to Community Quiet. The schedule is there, the live Zoom link that you can join us on, and the schedule all laid out there.
Pairing your study of astrology with spiritual practice is the way to get the most out of this beautiful, sacred tradition of astrology, in my humble opinion. So I made this, try to make this really accessible and give back to the community, and make this more of an intentional spiritual space. It's free. I hope that I hope to see you there.
The other thing you're going to notice is that under the Book a Reading tab, I have opened back up a select amount of readings in my schedule. I have taken a break for several years from doing readings, and I have a few new types of readings that I'm offering. So those will be up shortly. As of the time I'm recording this, they are not yet. They could be up by the time you're listening to this. It just sort of depends.
So in the meantime, check out the Book a Reading tab. Go to you'll see Horary Readings will be replaced with Readings with Adam. And under that tab you're going to find a new list of readings that are there for you to take advantage of if you want a reading with me, and what they are and how they work, and all of that.
Now I will say that, because I have limited time available, my readings are a bit pricier. If you are finding that it's outside of your budget to have a reading with me, this is why we also have need-based astrology readings with our staff, and those have flexible, tiered pricing. That way you can find a reading that meets your budget. I have to kind of put a premium on my work because I have very limited time. I've also been doing it for a really long time. So, you know, but for that reason, we have some flexibility in the pricing now.
The other thing that I want to go to is under the Events tab, go to Annual Retreat. We still have three or four spots left in our Oracle Within, excuse me, our Oracle Within retreat that's taking place in Mexico this June. We have need-based scholarships available for these remaining spaces. So if you would like to come on this retreat, and you were thinking about it, but you felt like the cost was prohibitive, we're down to just the pricing for your lodging and food for a few people who might really want to attend but need some help. So if that's interesting to you, email us at info@nightlightastrology.com.
A couple of other things, briefly. The Shop page. You can check out master classes and monthly webinars. A whole archive worth of really valuable in-depth astrology content that you can grab. Master classes, 10-12 hours worth of content on various subjects, tons of monthly webinars. So check those out. We just kind of reorganized our Shop page.
The final thing that I want to promote is under Courses, the First Year Course. At the end of today's video and videos going forward between now and June, you're going to see that there's a promotional kind of like advertisement slash orientation for our Year One program, Ancient Astrology for the Modern Mystic. That program begins again in June, so you'll see me starting to tell you more about that program at the end of every day's video content. So if that's interesting to you, you want to come study with us in June, it's a fantastic program, and the early bird pricing is now open.
All right, so I had to get through a bunch of stuff today, and I'm just back from vacation and catching up. So I apologize for the lengthy intro today.
Let's get into it. And hey, how's this? How's this for all you complaining, all you people who wanted to talk to the manager about the size of the screen? I appreciate you, you know, and it was too small for me, too, but I think we fixed it.
So, Nechepso. I was on vacation, I had recorded like three weeks of content in advance, with the help from some of my team, and we had the fix done, the update that they did specifically, by the way, for me, because I'm, you know, an affiliate. And I said, "Hey, look, everyone's used to seeing a bigger version of the chart on the screen." So Nechepso kindly redid the way that the screen is configured, so it should be bigger now.
I've also increased the font size, I've increased the glyph size, I've changed the radial spacing. I've done a lot of stuff to try to get it as close to what you're used to seeing, minus a blank white background. So please, though, tell me, because you've all been complaining so much, and I don't blame you, but does it look big enough now? Can you see it?
And if you're like, "I don't like the colors," well, I'm sorry, there's colors. So anyway, but can you see it well enough? Is it showing? Let me know what your thoughts are in the comment section.
They have an annotate feature built in, right? But I'm not going to stop using my Epic Pen, because I don't want the big circle or the big arrow to be robbed from our experience. So I'm going to continue to use it, even though I will tell you that if you get Nechepso, if you purchase it, because I'm an affiliate, there's a link in the comment section and in the description of this video, get 20% off the software if you decide to do it. They have an annotate feature built in. You just click this little guy right here, actually right here, and you see the Annotate pops up. But the lines don't have the big arrow thickness, and they don't have the surprise of suddenly changing the size of the arrows for random reasons that I still don't understand. So we're going to keep that around, because I just love it too much anyway.
So let's take a look at what's happening today. Longest intro in the world.
Okay, Uranus is in Taurus here, Monday, April 6 at the 29th degree. That is the anaretic degree. It is in the bound of Mars, culminating at that final degree. It is not retrograding back into Taurus after this is complete.
Let's move this forward a little bit and just see what it looks like. How many days do we have from April 6 until Uranus moves completely into Gemini? You notice that that Venus-Uranus conjunction is going to take place around the end of April, and as soon as it does, Venus moves into Gemini, and then shortly after, on the 26th, Uranus will move into Gemini.
So we have 20 days from today, if you're counting, to experience this last anaretic degree of Taurus. 20 more days of Uranus in Taurus. And that also means that we have some things to be thinking about.
I'm going to do horoscopes for all 12 signs. I'm going to give you some delineations to think about given the whole sign house placement in your birth chart. But I want to talk first about a couple of things that you should watch for. There's two of them that are going to be the most common for an outer planet reaching its anaretic degree.
One is for Uranus, especially critical mass. Uranus has been for seven years in a sign that likes stability, that likes ease, that likes comfort, that likes doing things the same way, as long as it's peaceful and stable and leads to productive and somewhat predictable and enjoyable results. That's sort of a little summary of what Taurus likes.
And if you're, I'm a Taurus rising, so I can vouch for this, but you Taureans out there, tell me if you think I've got that mostly right.
Now, Uranus is a god of revolution, and through that sign of Taurus has been creating slow, steady changes that revamp what looks like beauty, what looks like pleasure, the earthy, sensual dimension of Taurus, a Venus-ruled sign, a feminine Venus-ruled sign, exaltation of the Moon.
So Uranus has been bringing slow, steady, revolutionary shifts to what that sense of peace is. Stability, luxury, wealth, enjoyment, pleasure. All of us are, at least in part, seeking material stability, happiness, ease and abundance. Even if you denounce materialism, there's still a part of you that needs some measure of that Taurus energy.
And so Uranus in Taurus has been creating a slow, progressive revolution around these values, around these Taurian dimensions of life.
However, because Taurus tends to be a little resistant to change, that last decan of Taurus, that last degree of Taurus, the last 10 degrees of its decan, the last degree in particular, is a space where things that we've been resisting may reach a point of critical mass.
In the I Ching, the hexagram Critical Mass is sometimes called that, hexagram 28. It shows like a ridge pole that's sagging, that can't carry the burden of a weight that's too heavy any longer, and unless you brace it or change something about the structure, there's going to be a breakdown.
So critical mass in the I Ching refers to that space in time when change is imminent and necessary, because the structure can't hold the way it's been any longer.
For some people, this final degree will be like a grand finale, a grand moment of final revolution that may, in some ways, sort of dwarf all the others. Like you could find that there's something about this shift that is, in a way, summarizing everything that the shift has been trying to bring about in your life for seven years.
And not everyone's going to experience it that way, but I guarantee some of you will. Some of you will feel like, "Oh, this was a shit or get off the pot moment," or "This was a come to Jesus moment." This was a moment where something that had been progressively asking for change or restructuring or revolution, a reawakening, a renaissance, I've been avoiding, or there's been a stuckness, and the change will occur like a critical mass moment. So it's the final karmic shift that the whole process has been leading to.
Now that's a little dramatic, so let's look at the second option, which is a spin-off, and it's just karmic payoffs. A karmic payoff doesn't necessarily have to be big and flashy and dramatic, but it can be a sense that you've reached the end of a path, the end of a road. The fruits of a process karmically are ripe.
And that means that if you've been doing a lot of hard work, you may find that there's something like a transitional space in which you feel a sense of accomplishment, a sense of closing a door while another one opens as Uranus moves into Gemini, and just a feeling of almost like a retrospective, a sense of renewal and transition and change from one area of life to another.
Now, in order to really detect what that transition is about, make sure you pay attention to the Uranus in Gemini horoscopes that we'll do later in the month. That doesn't have to be super dramatic, but it could be quite profound. Intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, you may notice that there are some final last lessons or insights, but they don't have to be maybe as dramatic as some of the earlier experiences of Uranus in Taurus were.
Now the exception are going to be people that have planets in the last three degrees of those fixed signs, or maybe the first couple of degrees of mutable signs, because right now, Uranus will be hitting conjunction squares and oppositions to those planets. And so the culmination could be a lot more critical for those of you who have something like that going on in your birth chart.
But either way, think of it as an opportunity to say thank you to the god, to the planet, to the experience and season of life, to a road that you've been walking down, the insights, revelations, final sort of karmic payouts, final lessons and insights.
And then for some of you, you may experience this as the grand finale, something a lot more spectacular, but don't be surprised if it's subtler, you know. And again, a lot of it will have to do with where it lands in your chart. Angular planets, meaning fixed signs, fixed rising sign horoscopes, angular Uranus if you're a fixed rising sign might be a little bit brighter.
But anyway, so that's the basic outline of how to deal with this.
Let's get into some horoscopes now. And in order to do that, I am going to share my screen and bring up Nechepso again.
And what I'm going to do now is, let's see here, I want to take everything away except for Uranus, and the nodes of the moon, I suppose I'll take those out too.
Now what I'm going to do is, let's move this by hours. And oh, I'm going by minutes. Let's go by hours. Here we go. So we're going to do horoscopes. We're going to start with Aries rising and go right around the wheel.
Now, I currently have the bound wheel on, which shows you all the bound rulerships. I wanted to put that up today, just for the sake of really showing you that bound of Mars that Uranus is located in. But now I'm going to turn it off, just to keep our view a little tidier.
All right. So for Aries rising, and you could listen to this for your sun sign, your moon sign, your rising, whatever you want to listen to it for is fine. The whole sign rising sign will correspond with the whole sign house version of your chart, which is what Hellenistic astrologers like myself use and teach from, so I recommend that. But either way, let's get into it.
So for seven years, dating back to May of 2018, we have all been dealing with this energy of Uranus in this house with these topics. So keep that in mind as we go through the horoscopes one by one.
For Aries, there might be some kind of grand finale or final reckoning around things like money and livelihood and resources, the material environment, questions about material wealth or abundance, or what is sustainable and what isn't, insights about what you value and what you've been clinging to for security.
How have you been able to create a deeper, more abundant set of resources in your life over the past seven years? What kinds of revolutions have taken place around assets, money, wealth, resources and material security or stability?
You know, I think with this Mars-bound anaretic degree, there's an opportunity here for Aries to cut ties with anything that you've been hanging on to, that for this revolution to be complete, you need to cut ties with now.
There could be one last moment of revolution after a seven year cycle that has something to do with the development of skills, assets, resources, and again, material security or the theme of self-sufficiency. So what does that closure look like right now? Can you further simplify or liberate or claim what material abundance looks like on your own terms?
The revolution has been around not just assets and wealth and money, but also what provides a sense of well-being, ease and support in this material world. So consider that as this culminating moment is occurring.
Let's go forward to Taurus risings. If you're a Taurus rising, and that's me, so, my God, it's been what a seven years it's been, man. It started off. I changed my name part way through the process. I changed it back, but completely recreated my physical health and body. I mean, oh my God, it's been wild.
Anyway, a culminating identity shift feels right on point. For me, you are not who you were seven years ago. It has been a dramatic revolution of self and identity and body, old personas, body image stories, fixed sense of self that changed dramatically.
In this final moment, there might be a culminating set of acts or actions that are about your authenticity, that are about being you at whatever cost it comes with. There's a kind of breakthrough clarity around who you are becoming, what you have to do next. There's a "I don't have maybe give too much of a damn about what people think about me" vibe. Very Uranus in the first.
It's not like Taurus risings are mostly unpleasantly defiantly or rebelliously independent from other people. We're harmonizers. We're Venus-ruled people, depending on your Venus rulership, your Venus placement in your chart, obviously. But there's maybe some final moments of radical self-liberating that need to take place right now as the completion or closure of a cycle is occurring.
So keep all of that in mind. And congrats to all of you who have been through it. I know, just like in the first house, Uranus in the first is so demanding. It's like, "Be yourself or die." That's what it feels like. Pluto in the first is a little similar, actually, but different in how they deliver the goods.
All right, let's go forward to Gemini rising. Now, if you're Gemini rising, Uranus has been in your 12th house for seven years. My God, and it's been in this place of moksha, or liberation from unconscious or shadow material.
You've been looking at and releasing unconscious patterns and fears and karmic residue from past lives that live somewhere in the unconscious. Over the past seven years, that dimly lit space, the light's been turned up and turned on in that space. There may be hidden anxieties that live in that space that you're now much more familiar with, and maybe had to confront things that you like to avoid, that Uranus, in order to evolve and revolutionize your consciousness, you cannot avoid. You have to look at these things.
There may have been major spiritual breakthroughs, physical, mental, emotional health crises, destabilizing events that take away a normal sense of control or composure, or destabilize some nexus or locus of control that we all need, right? But can also be a bit of an illusion.
Uranus in the 12th's biggest gift is the way that it helps us let go of the steering wheel a little bit and trust that something bigger can drive for us at times.
But right now you're at the transitional space where Uranus, having gone through that gestational 12th house material, is ready to press reset on your sense of identity and selfhood. So what you've been processing is directly connected, for Gemini risings, to a complete revolution of identity and selfhood that's coming out of the processing of that unconscious material.
So, you know, good work, and now get ready to ride a tide of self-actualization and integrating and personalizing the changes that you've been looking at as Uranus has been in the angular triad belonging to the first but working in a much more unconscious space, now moving into conscious. I mean, that's just really exciting.
Speaking as someone who went through that shift, it's a long process, and there's a lot of levels and layers of actualizing what you learned in that 12th house dimension that will take place in the next sign. So just keep that in mind. And you know, I can't wait for your horoscopes when we do them next month too. That's going to be really exciting, all right. And I'm talking about Uranus in Gemini, of course.
Now, if you are a Cancer rising, for seven years, you've been going through a recreation of community and social spaces in your life, as well as what defines things like social validation and success. Popularity was traditionally associated with the 11th house, but also any and all forms of social happiness, wealth, honor, power, popularity that exists in the world, your dreams, your hopes, your aspirations that tie you to history and the public social arenas, the marketplaces, the institutions and social arenas of the world, right?
So a lot of change happening for seven years. I think of my wife, who in 2018 was at the outset of closing our yoga studio, moving our work online. We then moved to Minnesota. We re-established a total community, all of our community, you know, and redefining what community looks like has been a huge part of that journey for her over the past seven years.
But it's a culmination around your social life, friendships, long-term dreams and goals, realizations about which communities align and which have run their course. It's a last moment to break from groups or alliances that don't reflect the future you want to walk into, socially, publicly, professionally.
It's maybe a final shift with respect to long-term dreams and goals and who they connect you to in collective agreements or collective collaborative dimensions of life. It's also liberation through choosing authentic connections over what is, you know, expedient or opportunistic, or just basically familiar, but not necessarily aligned.
So for Cancers, long process taking place, culminating now in the 11th house.
All right, for Leos, it's your 10th house. Holy cow. It is. "Holy cow" is, I guess, an appropriate phrase for Taurus. All right, well. The 10th house, obviously about career, reputation, public identity, things like notoriety, influence, power and mastery in the world, professional and vocational direction.
You've been going through a remaking of your professional life in line with Uranian values: experimentation, originality, things like technology and inventiveness, thinking outside the box, and just general themes of revolutionizing your sense of life purpose and direction in the arena of career.
So it's closure on a long chapter of reinventing your career, of revolutionizing your public or vocational role. This could be a defining last moment of more fully stepping into this liberated, authentic path that's been cooking since 2018.
If you look back over the whole arc, it's a great time to go like, "What have I accomplished in terms of my life's work, professional life's work, creative life's work? And what further revolutions are becoming apparent to me right now that's going to lead seamlessly for Leos into social and communal dynamics shifting tremendously?" Very exciting.
I think there could be a kind of climactic turning point still with career, reputation, public identity. There could be sudden clarity coming after a long process, like it's all led to this moment, about true calling versus roles that you've outgrown in the career area of life. So any final moments of reinvention or kind of culminating realizations or insights you're having right now around career.
Alrighty, how's the display looking? I feel like this looks pretty good. I can't, I mean, like, I can't see it like you guys see it, I guess. But to me, on the screen, it looks almost identical to the size of my old program.
Anyway, let's go on to Virgo rising, which places Uranus in the ninth. So over seven years, you've been going through a process of disrupting and revolutionizing things like spirituality, religion, worldview, philosophical paths, places of higher learning or studying interesting systems of belief.
And there's a theme with Uranus in the ninth of disrupting and challenging existing norms or conventions, philosophically, ideologically, and maybe some very exciting educational journeys that you've been on, or maybe even journeys abroad or involvement in other places in the world. Ninth house often associated with foreign countries, pilgrimage, travel abroad.
So how has your belief system and your adventures in life, what horizons have been expanded, and what paradigms or thought structures have changed? How do you understand truth and reality now compared to where you were seven years ago?
There might be some final culminations around belief systems, final disruptions to outdated truths or teachings or ideologies, acting now on what you believe, things like teaching, publishing, traveling, and kind of one last revolutionary push around these things. This is carrying over into your career house next. Remember that, so some really powerful breakthrough insights that can reshape your sense of meaning and purpose.
And it might be that there's a time for excitedly, charismatically exploring new thought terrains, and that now it's about enacting them in the world too. That's a threshold that often gets mapped from an outer planet or slow-moving planet moving from the ninth to the 10th.
All right, let's continue on for Libras. So for Libras, Uranus is in the eighth. Wow, seven years ago, in 2018, the deeper structures of karmic soul contracts with other people started getting radically shifted.
So I know a Libra rising who, in 2018, was on the precipice within a year of her marriage ending in a very dramatic fashion that really pulled the rug out from underneath her. And this has given this person I know many successive opportunities over the past seven years to deepen her understanding of relationships, of the give and take of relationships, of what it means to be in substantive reciprocal dynamics of caring and sharing versus taking and using.
The radical shift around that dimension of life also has to do with the things that other people give you, and they give you as benefit or as like baggage. "Here's my baggage, you know, Merry Christmas," or here's, you know, this is why the place is taxes, but also inheritance. I remember this person's father died the same month that Uranus entered their eighth house. Inheritance, and then a year later, divorce and settlements. But you can feel that deeper.
So total revolution around your, let's call it, your awareness of what you give and take in relationships. Very powerful, the karmic exchanges, the liberation from attachments, the death and rebirth of the eighth house.
I will tell you, just to be like, because I don't like to blow smoke up people's butts, I'm happy for you that you get to get Uranus out of that eighth house. I'm legitimately happy for Libras out there, because it's just one of the houses where the work is a bit deeper and heavier. The ninth house is a bit more exciting, honestly. I'm not saying ultimately it's all good, right? Ultimately it's all valuable, but it's a little lighter going into the ninth. So congrats.
Let's go to, I'm obviously speaking in generalizations generally, because it all depends on the chart and so forth.
But let's go to Scorpios. Uranus is in your seventh house. Seven years you've been working through dramatic, revolutionary dynamics around marriage, marriage and family, perhaps marriage and living together, sexuality and intimacy, partnerships, interpersonal relationships, and how other people play a role in the evolution of your spirit and soul in this lifetime. Huge, absolutely huge.
So in this final 20 days, there might be some final, dramatic shifts in relationships, partnerships, that kind of interpersonal sphere of agreements that you have with other people, sudden realizations about who you are in relation to the people that you're closest with, and what has to change there. There may be some need to end or redefine or radically liberate yourself from partnerships.
A lot of that work has probably already been done over the past seven years for Scorpios, but depending on planetary placements, this could be a kind of threshold moment where you know closure is coming, endings, that final, grand finale revolution in the space of relationships.
But the most important thing is to look back and reflect on the seven years of Uranus in your seventh. What have you learned about relationships? Where have you been? What discoveries, what truths, what deeper soul-level work have you been doing in that area of life?
All right, moving on to Sagittarius. Uranus is in the final degree of Taurus, in your sixth house. I will also say for Sags, I'm legitimately excited for you. I know a Sagittarius who has been through one difficult life situation, circumstance, specifically around body and health, after another for like the past seven years.
Now in that time, I would say that physical health limitations and the process of aging have also been the vehicle for a lot of soul-level growth. So it's not necessarily a bad thing, and they've been able to, like, jump over the hurdles presented to them in their health for the most part. But you know when you're just dealing with one thing after another, and those challenges and persevering through them become the vehicles for growth? Well, you can see why I'm like, "I'm happy for you. I'm happy that you've reached the end of a long, difficult transit process."
Now, the other thing that's in the sixth house has to do with Uranus. In the sixth can afford a lot of opportunities for people who are willing to sacrifice and serve something bigger than themselves. So surrender to anything bigger than yourself as a way to get through the difficulties of life pays such huge dividends in the sixth house.
As someone with three planets there myself, when I was going through addiction in my early 20s, had some aspects that were hitting those Libran sixth house planets in my chart, and the revolution for me was all about surrender to a higher power through things like ayahuasca, 12-step programs, you know, therapy, yoga. It was all about saying, "I can't manage this on my own. I have to sacrifice. I have something bigger to serve than myself, and I have to surrender to a higher power." That's my language, anyway.
But for that reason, I've been able to chop wood and carry water more than I think I would have been able to had I just considered all of this a fight that I had to manage on my own. Do you know what I mean? That's a sixth house lesson over and over and over again. It's a place that was called Mala Fortuna, bad fortune. But for the ancients who practiced astrology, think of Stoics who practiced astrology, for example, they would say bad fortune is an opportunity to cultivate good spirit, you know. And like, I know it sucks, because that doesn't diminish the difficulty. It's not meant to bypass it, but it's a reality. How you respond is everything.
So you've been going through it, Sags, for seven years. What have the lessons been around work, health, daily life structures, what you serve, what's bigger than yourself that helps you get through, the balance between freedom and discipline? What does that look like? What's the next breakthrough too? That's carrying over from this space into relationships next. It's a huge transit coming up.
All right, Capricorn. You've got Uranus in Taurus in the fifth house, the place of creativity and joy and romance and self-expression. Seven years now, Capricorns have been working through what liberates and brings a deep, profound sense of creative freedom, creative satisfaction, genuine pleasure, versus things that are performative or habitual.
The difference in the fifth house is the joy that comes from playing an instrument versus the joy of taking a drug. I know that sounds extreme, but it's true. The fifth house is all about creatively fulfilling modes of being that align with Dharma, meaning a sacred sense of alignment with who I am, and a sacred sense of what is good, moral and true that doesn't disrupt the universal order of things.
In other words, by being me, I can be happy, I can be creative, I can be fun, I can feel joy, but I don't do it in a way that violates anyone or anything. You know what I mean? I mean, no one's perfect, and we kill ants just walking around. So you get what I mean. The simple version of it, though, is have fun and do no harm. Have fun and be yourself.
What does that look like for you over seven years, Capricorns? Is it time to take one last creative risk? Is there a more liberated, heart-centered expression that you are now ready to take? Uranus moving into your sixth house, you know? What are you going to start overcoming and sacrificing on behalf of?
See, one of the things that's so beautiful is that when you find something that you're truly passionate about, the sixth house following it says, "Well, if you're really passionate about it, you want to build something from it, or work towards something, then you'll have to sacrifice on behalf of what brings you joy and happiness." It's like saying, "I love playing guitar," and then it's like, "I want to be a musician. Great. You love the guitar. You want to be a musician. Now you got to practice all the time."
But there's a transition coming up that's been about first just relocating authentic joy and happiness, and maybe pushing the boundaries a little bit with respect to what joy, happiness, pleasure, creativity look like. But that process reaching a culminating point right now. What does that look like for you?
All right, for Aquarius rising, Uranus is in the fourth house, that culminating place of the fourth house. Wow, seven years' worth of working through home, family, emotional roots and ancestral karma. This is about belonging, what makes you feel safe, what gives you rootedness. It's about property and family dynamics. Parents, your upbringing.
There has probably been a lot of decisive changes at the root level of your life. That could be marriage and family and home structures, property and living setups or environments, family karma that's been explored or excavated, getting in touch with your roots, or changing and separating from your roots. Sometimes we need to say, "I got to start a new path. It's all my own."
What has the unconventional, untraditional revolutionizing of Uranus in your fourth house looked like? What has that been? What does that look like for you over the past seven years, and what place of final culmination is happening right now that truly supports inner stability, private emotional depth?
It's like a well is in the fourth house. Are you able to draw from it? Have you made the changes you need to so you can draw deeply from a place of peace, belonging, ease? Do you feel at home in life? What does the revolution at the roots look like for you, Aquarians, and what is this final moment leading to right now?
Finally, Pisces rising. You get Uranus culminating in the third house. You've had it there for seven years. A lot of this has been about cognitive, mental, intellectual and communicative changes that have taken place over the past seven years.
Over the past seven years, you may have learned how to perceive or speak or think or process information very differently. You may have learned how to communicate and give expression to your voice, your thoughts, your intellect very differently. You may have studied things, learned new skills, developed new mental processes or habits or technologies.
Things in your immediate environment may have been a little bit more chaotic, but maybe exciting. You may see that shifting. There may have been some dramatic shifts or changes with respect to peer-to-peer relationships or sibling dynamics in your life. Learning to speak truth, speak out, be a bit rebellious, or diverge from the crowd, mentally, intellectually, all normal for this planet in this house, but reaching this culminating moment right now.
What have you learned? How have you changed your mind? How have friendships changed? Peer relationships changed? How have you separated yourself from the herd or the pack, so to speak?
Now, remember, for you, Pisceans, the revolution is shifting into your fourth house, that place of home, family, roots, property, and that's a huge change coming up for you that we're also going to look at. But for now, I would say, look, think about what you need to give voice to, or what final moments of intellectual, philosophical, technical revolution still need to take place. What breaks from mental or intellectual habits are ready to finally happen after a long period of processing something?
So I think it's really exciting right now, all 12 signs. There's really a lot to look forward to, so we will end it there.
Actually, no, we will not end it there, because there's two more things I need to do.
One, I want to give you just a daily taste of the Nechepso program. The guys are going to be coming back this month of April to do a tutorial for total beginners. They're also coming out privately to the school to speak with our students. I'm an affiliate. It's the first affiliate program I've done.
This program is the cutting edge not only of astrological software technology, but really it is a grassroots movement being led by astrologers to create our own AI within astrology software programs not based in data centers, not taking your data. It's private. It doesn't run with the big data centers' environmental footprints. It's an attempt to keep up to speed with the infiltration of AI that's taking place in our field, whether we like it or not, but to do it ourselves, to have an AI that's programmed that can be used, for example, as a research assistant, as aiding with pattern recognition in charts, not replacing us at all. We don't believe in that at all, but trying to make sure that astrologers are leading the conversation about AI integration into software, because if we don't, it will be predatorial, you know, capitalist tech companies that seize on the popularity of astrology.
So to me, I'd rather take action. I'm not someone who thinks in black and white, for the most part. I don't look at AI and say, "It's God or it's the devil." I tend to think of it more as like a mirror. The kind of AI we design will mirror something back to us, and some of that's going to be shadow, and some of that's going to be light.
But the other thing that's cool about this program is that the AI is completely optional. You can use it if you want to, or you don't have to use it. And even if the AI weren't a part of this program, this program is next level in terms of what it's doing, just on the level of astrology software and the kinds of things that it provides.
Now, one little thing that I want to show you that's really cool, that I love about this, is you can really design your entire glyph set, your wheel, your background, in infinitely customizable ways. So what I'm working on right now, now that I've got the size right, is like, "Do I want to change the color dimensions of my wheels?" Or the other thing I can do is I can change the colors of the planets, so I can bring in different colors, I can make them grading, I can give them shadows.
So just in terms of the aesthetics, to me, that's really important, because I really like my chart to be aesthetic and not just like blocks of information. The more dead and sterile it looks to me, the less I enjoy using it, even though we're looking at charts and looking at data. To me, the more colorful and artistic that data can be, and the more flexible it can be on that level, the better. Because I really do believe that if this is like a mantic device we're using, even if it's software, that it should be, like mantic devices for thousands of years were inseparable from art.
So to me, that's a really important dimension. A lot of programs have different customizable templates, but I've never seen one that has this much flexibility in terms of what you can make the entire template look like. So that's a cool reason to use it.
The affiliate link, you get 20% off recurring every month on your subscription. 20% off that doesn't stop. So use the affiliate link in the comment section or in the description of this video. It supports the school, it supports Nightlight, and it supports this grassroots group of astrologers trying to lead the conversation, rather than be taken advantage of, when it comes to next generation astrology software, which I think is worth fighting for personally.
So anyway. Now the last thing that I want to do is, it's Monday, so of course, I got to show you what's on my altar to end the day.
Don't forget, altar practices are a super powerful way to really just stay engaged with your... Oh, that's funny. You can see the Lulu. That's not what I meant to show you. My daughters were, like, obsessed with Lulus for a real hot minute.
Okay, hold on. My camera's all wonky. Ah, there we go. Sorry, guys. I went on vacation, and the people who come and clean our office, I think, moved my camera so it's just like it was in the perfect spot, and I didn't think to check it. Whatever.
Anyway, I have a little sea turtle there, and the reason I have a sea turtle on my altar this week is really simple. We were just on vacation. Oh my gosh, I got to tell you guys a funny story.
We're on vacation in the Virgin Islands. We go to St. John. We've been going there for a long time. Pretty easy place to get to, pretty affordable place, as you know, as vacations go to sunny places. And anyway, we're there, and we went to this beach, and we did some snorkeling, and we saw sea turtles, and it was this really vivid beauty. It felt like a spirit animal for us on our trip as a family. So I just wanted to honor and acknowledge that spirit on my altar this week, as I'm just home from vacation.
If my face looks red, it's because I got a little too much sun on the last day or two.
Okay, so that's that.
Okay, funny story for you. So this is a super bizarre story. It's a little dark, but I have to tell it because it's also really just astrology good.
All right, so we were in the Virgin Islands many years ago now, our first time there, and we went snorkeling. This was, oh, when was it? 2022 or three or something like that. So it was maybe three or four years ago.
Anyway, we're snorkeling. They take you on this little boat. Wait, my mom was there, and her partner were there with us, and we all went out snorkeling. And my daughter Virginia looks at this very bizarre architecture on this island, and she goes, "Oh, look at that. I want to go. I want to go check that out. Can we go there?"
And the captain of the little boat that we were on, it's a speed boat, he goes, "That's Jeffrey Epstein's island." I go, "Sweetheart, that is definitely not the place that you want to go to."
I know that's really dark, but it was so, the amount of laughter that we all got from it, because obviously my daughter has no idea who Jeffrey Epstein is, but all of the adults seeing this innocent little girl, like, "Oh, that's pretty... what's on that island? That is not a place for kids. We don't recommend anyone go there, but especially not little girls."
That was like the weirdest, darkest, but kind of like dark humor moment. Anyway, so now every year we go there, she remembers it, which is crazy. She'll always be like, "Remember that weird castle tower architecture?" You know, it was a really bizarre looking thing.
And we're always like, my wife and I, we always look at each other and we go, "Oh, we remember it." Maybe she's old enough to understand the context of all of this story around Epstein. We'll tell her about that, and she'll be sufficiently creeped out as we were.
Anyway, that's a... sorry. I'm sorry if that was like a bad story to end with. Think about the turtle on the altar.
Anyway, after I sign off right now, you're going to hear some promotional content, like an orientation to the first year program. It starts in June. It is a year-long course. It is fantastic.
I'm going to tell you about it next. Thanks for listening today. We'll see you again tomorrow.
