As Uranus completes its final direct motion in Taurus, a profound chapter of your life reaches its natural point of culmination. This isn't about sudden magic; it's about the slow, tectonic work of the soul—the kind that reshapes the very ground of your values, security, and sense of self. Over these past seven years, you’ve been in an apprenticeship to authenticity, often through necessary disruptions that broke molds which no longer fit.
Now, as this celestial body pauses and turns forward one last time in the sign of the Bull, it offers a moment of clarity. It's a chance to see the arc of your own revolution: what you've released, what you've rebuilt, and who you've become in the process. This video explores that closing movement and what it means for your unique path, with horoscopes for all 12 rising signs to help you locate your story within this larger sky.
The revolution is not for its own sake. It is to break out of bonds that aren't honest or real. What feels like destabilization is often the soul’s insistence on authenticity. As this long transit closes, you integrate not just the changes, but the courage it took to make them.
Reflect on this turning point with us. If this perspective resonates, consider subscribing for daily guides to navigating your chart with heart and insight.

Hey everyone. This is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology [https://nightlightastrology.com/].
Today we're going to take a look at Uranus turning direct in the sign of Taurus. This is Uranus turning direct for the very last time in the sign of Taurus, because after this point, it will move slowly into the sign of Gemini in the next couple of months, and then stay there for the next seven years.
So we are looking at the last change of direction for the planet Uranus in the sign of Taurus. I'm going to give you some horoscopes today and maybe tie a little bit of a ribbon around what this process has been about.
It's a really good time to be reflecting on that whole sign house of Taurus in our birth charts right now, as this process is at a point of closure. It's the beginning of the start of a closure that will take a couple of months, but that turning point is really powerful and important to look at. So that's what we're going to do today.
Before we get into it, remember to like and subscribe, share your comments and your reflections. If you have them, you can find transcripts of any of these daily talks always on the website Nightlight astrology.com.
Remember, our success depends on people who watch, subscribing. It really is that simple. There's nothing you can do that is more helpful than dropping a comment every day, giving us a thumbs up and subscribing if you're not already that is how we grow and thrive and live as a business.
So Nightlight astrology.com is the website when you head over there, I want to remind you that there's a free speaker series that you can attend if you are interested. Go to the events page, click on speaker series, and you're going to click on this here.
You're going to scroll down here and see that this weekend, Stormy Grace and Rod Chang are giving talks. These are fantastic astrologers giving free talks. This is hosted and sponsored through the annual Kickstarter campaign, we're able to hire great speakers to come out and give these talks and open them publicly for free to all of you because of your generosity and support of the channel.
So be sure to take advantage of those. If you can't attend live, you do get the recordings afterward. So when you register, all of that will be taken care of for you.
Now, the other thing that I want to emphasize silent Sundays, if you are interested in daily meditation, maybe you want to start a practice. We meet every day, Monday through Saturdays at 9:30 Eastern for a time of sitting quietly for 20 minutes. You can join us doing that.
It's a great time to do it as Saturn and Neptune are coming together. It's free, she's the passcode there on Sundays, we meet at 11:30am Eastern, 10:30 Central, a little bit longer for silent Sundays than our weekday meetings, but that's free, and something we're also doing just to help people regulate your nervous system during a period of time where, you know, the transits are pretty intense right now.
So the other thing you can see are my live talks coming up each month. Next month, I'm doing a talk on psychedelics and astrology, why they are so often connected for people, or why psychedelics often serve as a kind of bridge into astrology.
Need based astrology readings give you tiered pricings. You can book a reading with me through the horary service if you are interested. That is the kind of reading I my needle practice is limited to training programs now, so we also have your three starting guild has just started, master classes, just started. Check out the class page for all of that good stuff.
All right. Onward. Here we go. Here's the real time clock. And what I want to emphasize today is, you know, yesterday, this week, we've been talking about Mars, Pluto, we talked about Mercury and Venus. It's been a very dynamic week for all of those planets in Aquarius.
And if you missed any of that coverage, be sure and go, go back to check it out. Today I want to focus on something. Whoa, the big air. Okay, Mount big circle. Okay. I love it when that happens. Okay. So anyway, Uranus is in Taurus at the 27th degree.
It has been just seated there off from my ascendant of a degree. I'm a 26 degree Taurus rising. So it's been fucking with me for just kidding. Okay, so anyway, but here's the deal. There's the station that's Tuesday of next week, February 3, and then the direct motion really in place by the end of next week.
So the reason I'm getting out in front of this now is because next week is the change of direction for Uranus, and a lot of you are going to feel that if you have any kind of tracking of planets, that's that you're sensitive to in your life, you probably will notice this.
The change of momentum is kind of a slower sweeping turn. It's like a big tugboat turning around in a harbor or something. But it does with Uranus, though, the thing is that Uranus can be when it's stationing, when it's barely moving.
I think about it a little bit like, like a metaphorical image that comes to my mind would be like, you know, in the summertime, sometimes we get these big thunder and lightning storms, and they roll in, and when they first roll in, it's kind of like, crash, boom, bang, whoa.
And then after a while, it's just like, well, it's just been steadily raining for like an hour, and there's flashes in the sky, but maybe the feeling of being at the grand finale peak of a fireworks show has sort of subsided, but you're still like, you know, you're just, you're kind of in the midst of a prolonged period of lightning and thunder and storming, but nothing so dramatic that it makes you feel like the roof's about to blow off.
You know, that's a bit, to me, what Uranus stationing feels like. And then when it changes direction and it starts moving forward again, there are often these very decisive moments for Uranus, where you can feel it. It has that feeling of a shift happening.
And for Uranus, those shifts will often be a little bit more dramatic. I'm trying to think if I can come up with another image. Well, I guess one of the things that happens for me when Uranus changes directions is I often feel like if something has been in a process of disruption.
Let me use the psychedelic analogy, because I'm really I want to find the right image here. I'll use psychedelic ceremonial experiences that I've had. Some of you may be able to relate, if not just, you know, I don't think it's like that hard to follow in a psychedelic ceremony space, there will be like passages that you go through with Ayahuasca, for example, that are really turbulent and disruptive to your sense of sanity, physical stability, mental stability.
It's just like wild and you feel like you're in a cyclone of healing, purging, reflecting and there's it's not like a center that you can hold on to. This is like a Uranian Mind Storm, psychedelic healing experience, and then all of a sudden, what happens is the quality of that space shifts often because you purge, or you you you vomit, or maybe you start crying, or there's some kind of cathartic release, and then what has been a very unstable kind of space shifts, and it's like the psychic storm cloud starts to part and separate.
In my experience, the shifts of Uranus are a bit like that. There might be another two or three more passages ahead in the span of a six hour ceremony. But you know, if you've been, I've been through 100 plus ceremonies in my life, if you you can identify your two hours in you've just gone through a cyclone of experience, and you're like, well, that one passed.
I still probably have four more hours of the medicine doing its work, you know. So you know, it's not over over, but that period of chaos with the meaning it carried has passed, and now we're going to continue into another Uranian experience, and those passages, I think they're sort of, you know, I'm talking about a passage that might be in the span of six hours.
We're talking about the kind of shift of psychic weather that might take place over a couple of weeks as Uranus changes directions. But if there have been themes of focused destabilization of patterns, habits, perceptions, modes of being, modes of living, dynamics that have been, you know, kind of like consistently working things to reshape and break the mold.
Now you're going to find that those that that that pattern of destabilization is starting to pass, which can feel very relieving. It's like, Wow, thank you for doing that work that was nice and destabilizing, and I feel a little unregulated.
But then when, paradoxically, when Uranus starts moving forward, it's going to start moving into different spaces that need different kind of attention. And it does that tends to do that differently for each of us as it also contacts different planets by aspect in our chart, or angles and so forth.
But the other thing that happens is it starts shifting dramatically when it leaves the sign and when it enters a new sign, it's entering a totally different field. To use my analogy loosely, I guess it'd be like saying, okay, that ceremony is done.
Maybe now I'm going into a totally different ceremony that will have a totally different texture, totally different themes and topics, maybe different intentions before I take the medicine into my body. I mean, I'm just using the Ayahuasca analogy the best I can, but it's sort of like that in terms of like we're going into totally new ceremonial space in our chart, because Uranus is going to move into a new whole sign house, and new topics are going to be active and at the forefront of the kinds of change, awakening, revolution, destabilization that Uranus is bringing.
This can feel cumulative. This change of direction for Uranus can feel like, okay, wow. You know, I went on a whole tour of the Uranus and Taurus experience over seven years, dating all the way back to like May of 2018 when it first entered.
And over these seven years or so, give or take with its retrograde, out of your Gemini and back into Taurus, this past fall, I have I've grown. I've seen a lot. So today, what I want to do is think about this as a an experience Uranus turning direct that may put a bow on things in that whole sign house of Taurus in our birth charts.
So what I've got for you next are horoscopes that hopefully get at the get to the heart of what that's been about. We'll have separate horoscopes when we look at Uranus entering Gemini. And before I do this, what I'm going to do one more thing.
Okay, one more thing, so after Uranus turns direct early to mid next week, that's like February, 2, third, fourth, fifth, right around there, we're going to take Uranus through Taurus, and just give you a feel for how long this very last section of Uranus and Taurus last, it changes into the sign of Gemini right about April 26 April 25 into April 26 that's my wife's birthday The 26th so should be interesting.
But anyway, so then we have Uranus, in the sign of Gemini, not retrograding back into Taurus, and we don't see it crossing into the sign of cancer, excuse me. Until here we are, May of 2033 that's about seven years.
That's the average amount of time, give or take that Uranus spends per sign. So we're now going to be squarely into this new Uranus in Gemini era, highlighted this year by several Trine from Uranus in Gemini to Pluto in Aquarius.
We'll be covering those more coverage on Uranus in Taurus or in Gemini to come closer to the time that it makes the change. But today it's all about the whole sign house horoscopes for these next couple of months of Uranus, final work in the sign of Taurus, with right now in the next week as a decisive shift or change one last time in direction.
So let's, let's go. Let's go through these, if you have, if you're an airy sun or rising you can listen to this for either. Then Uranus will be changing directions in Taurus, in your second house.
And I think about a final reckoning with money, with security, with your material values, with what you earn or what you own, and also who you've become over the past seven years with respect to how you earn, how you relate to the material energy, how you define your self worth relative to things like money, income, assets and resources, what kind of resources you've built, or what kind of change in material values you have gone through in the past seven years.
If there have been a lot of experiments around business, or a lot of forward thinking, maybe you're reaping the fruits of that labor or that inventiveness. If there have been a lot of disruptions and uneven up and down periods of time, it might be nice to see that pass by, but really looking since May of 2018 and thinking like, what? What have I learned around this second house of money and resources assets.
It's a place that has to do with how our well being is tied to a sense of material security. So what does that look like for you over the past seven years? What have you been learning? An inflection moment coming up here that suggests that there's just one small little chapter left to come.
Now, let's move forward to putting Taurus on the ascendant. Now, to me, as a Taurus rising, I can already see where this is heading. You know, it's easy for me to pick up on it personally, but for all of us, Taurus is out there, if you're listening, a long process of identity, experimentation reaches coherence.
This is who I've become. This is what the process this. These are some of the results that the process has yielded, the wisdom of identity and selfhood that I have found. Or discovered the urge to live more authentically in your bodies, your personal values, your self presentation is ready to stabilize after a long period of not just destabilization, but you know, revolution, any changes that you've made to your appearance, your health, your way of inhabiting yourself may move forward now with confidence, like that phase of reworking my sense of identity is complete, not that it's ever complete complete, but this phase is Complete, embodying your own independence, embodying your own irreducible nature.
And what does that have to do with the level of the body, the physical nature, in particular with the first house earth? All right, we move to Gemini, where Uranus is spinning, finishing a long seven years in your 12th house.
Let's call it a long strange trip, thinking of the Grateful Dead lately, you know, but that's kind of what it is in the 12th house, a long strange trip. It's included Inner Awakening. It has included startling awakenings of the unconscious.
It has revealed unconscious patterns around what you fear, or how you try to control things, or what you do to feel secure in the world, and maybe loosen some things up helped you find and inhabit a sense of steadiness or peace or ease or simplicity that has been found because of the things You've been able to release.
Maybe you feel a little bit less restless internally, more grounded, physically and spiritually because of this process. And this is, in a way, a sense of closure. It's like a long therapy session you've been through over the past seven years with Uranus in this house and entering your first house next you're ready to now embody the changes that have come about because of that deep, long processing of unconscious material, which is very exciting for cancers.
It's so funny whenever I do horoscopes, you guys, I always have, like, a handful of people I know, you know, with different rising signs, kids, wife, friends, parents, whatever, like all sorts of people in my life.
And I'm always, I'm the first thing that always comes to my mind is, like, in case they're listening, like, how can I fuck with them? I'm just kidding. Totally joking. But no, I always felt like the people that if you do horoscopes, you know what I mean, like you always think about the people, you know.
Anyway, some things come to my mind for cancers right away, because I've quite a few good friends who are cancer risings in my life, actually, and my wife too. But anyway, okay, onward here. Sorry to get distracted. So this is your 11th house, and over the past seven years, there have been really unique and distinct changes in who you consider, your friends, what communities you've come in and out of the long term goals and dreams for your life, how they've changed and integrated you might be clear about, you know, the kind of people that you want to belong with or to or live life alongside of, and what no longer fits.
You know, just thinking about Ashley and at the outset of this transit, we were in the process of closing our yoga studio, and she was not, not saying, Oh, I hate the yoga world, or anything dramatic like that.
But kind of finding that she was more aligned with her herbal work, very Uranus and Taurus and herbal communities of practitioners, than she was to continue being as identified and involved in yoga communities.
She's still a deeply yogic person, right? She still has morning meditation, just like I do, like, nothing's really non yoga about her anymore, but I remember the distinct shift of being like, I just really feel like I want to be more involved in my herbal work and my herbal communities.
And we closed our yoga studio, and I remember that not long after closing the yoga studio, covid happened in a bunch of studios in our area. Not far from our own studio had to shut down.
And I remember telling her at the time, because we were about to sign a lease that would have taken us through covid, for sure, and I remember saying like, if this is how you feel. Trust that, and we've helped each other.
We help each other over the years like that. But the shifts that you make when Uranus comes through can feel like kind of destabilizing. Like, Wow, am I really going to do this? It's sort of like when you have the impulse to dye your hair blue, you know, you're like, oh, but you got to do it, if you got to do it.
So anyway. Just an example there your sense of community and who you who you consider your people, where you belong, what defines your long term dreams and goals has gone through a Uranian and Taurian revolution.
All right, let's go to Leo's. So the 10th house, the 10th house, Leo rising. You've got Uranus in your Leo rising, Uranus in the tent, sorry.
Over seven years, there has been a long period of work and change with respect to your career, your public identity, or your public facing sense of identity and the disruptions may now make sense. They may be, in a way, complete you're you have now stepped into a more authentic version of authority or career or leadership or professional direction, or you've established very clearly what isn't working and just won't be you.
Professional risks that you've taken over the past seven years may begin to crystallize in things that are that feel more stable and sort of established reputation may align more closely with your values, or you might be at the point where you're finally reaching that that moment I'm going to make a decision a long process has reached a point of culmination, and if It hasn't, if some of these things haven't happened already, then it wouldn't be surprising to see some of those kinds of decisions or changes of direction happen in the next couple of months.
All right, with Virgos, we're looking at the ninth house. Well, you've had seven years of evolution in belief, which always informs our worldview. It might be about the spiritual, religious kinds of values or philosophical beliefs that you have, or maybe even something like the study of certain topics that have changed your your worldview or have provided you a different paradigm.
Many people study astrology over the seven years that Uranus is in their ninth house. It is so common, you might know what you believe more clearly now than you did seven years ago. Anything involving teaching, studying, world travel, publishing, philosophy religion may have been a major area of evolution spiritually for you in the past seven years, and maybe now you're ready to move forward with a philosophy that has been lived, that has been coming in revolutionary bursts and changes over seven years.
But it's not theoretical anymore. It's it's embodied. It's ready to step forth into the world. And that's often the transition that happens when Uranus goes from the ninth to the 10th. So watch for that. All of you lovely Virgos out there.
All right, let's go to Libra. We got it in the eighth house. Bet you're happy to be sure you're happy to see it. It leave the eighth, because the eighth house work is it's a Moksha house. It's about emotional financial entanglements that have been renegotiated with more awareness.
It's about, it's it has been about getting free of different kinds of debts and obligations, finding more literal or psychological freedom and less complicated forms of entanglement, power dynamics have had to come become clearer. Power dynamics and the exchanges, the give and take, karmically on any level, emotional, financial, sexual has had to be examined and shifted.
Long standing shifts around things like trust and intimacy and shared resources may be ready to integrate so and honestly just fear anxiety and the way that we allow the esteem or evaluation of other people to inform our own self worth is has maybe been a place of focus for seven years, there has been a process of being liberated from bonds that have entangled and good work.
You know, it's like you paid off a credit card. So let's look at it that way, and I hope that that's resonant. All right, let's move on to Scorpios. You Scorpios Boy, you've had Uranus doing seven years of work in the relationship house.
So relationships are maybe now ready to fully embody the kinds of revolutionary changes that have come through over seven full years, apart from whether that kind of grand narrative is appropriate or not, there could be a just a turning point moment in relationships coming up now and in the next couple of months, patterns of who and what you're attracted to, commitment or conflict every relationship.
Relationship is about conflict as much as it is about peace, because the two coexist and co-arise patterns of attraction, commitment, conflict and peace have been revolutionary for seven years. I would venture to say that you may be less interested in unpredictable patterns in relationships and more in honest ones.
That is quite commonly a reflection that people have after Uranus transits in the seventh because what was destabilizing is typically tied to what wasn't authentic or real, and the revolution is to break out of bonds that aren't honest or real.
And it feels like there's just destabilization, but it's actually lack of authenticity and honesty anyway, just some reflections there, in case they're useful. So relationships, what have you been through over seven years? And it could be any kind of interpersonal dynamic, not just marriage.
All right, let's look at Sagittarius, where Uranus goes into the sixth house of work, health, daily routines. There's a sense that nothing in the sixth house is easy, that it requires perseverance, sacrifice, service and work, that work will often pay off at the end of a long transit through the sixth house.
So you could really be reaping the benefits of a lot of hard, work, effort, practice, devotion, care, service to something bigger than yourself, even apprenticing to something is kind of Sixth house in the sense that it's a slow process, that the labor doesn't pay off right away.
You have to stay persistent, consistent, etc. But watch those things pay off right now and create really interesting shifts in your life. The kinds of conflicts that we deal with in the sixth house lead to a different way of wanting to be in relationships when Uranus moves into the seventh so keep that in mind for you Sagittarians out there, what kind of work and drama and habitual forms of conflict or stress are worth it and are not are about to also reshape how you do relationships.
We'll talk about that more in the months to come. You may finally understand more about what your body has been asking for for the sake of health or wellness on a daily level, greater freedom through better systems of daily work, rather than chaotic systems of daily work and daily habits.
So a revolution in this space is feels good. I think that having it leave this house, it's sort of like if you apprentice in a space of a lot of hard labor, like, I think of like med school, you know as very sixth house, and then you graduate, and it's like, now you're ready to take what you've learned and the skills you've honed and go and bring them into acts of service that maybe don't have to feel as taxing anyway.
All right, so let's go into the fifth house. Capricorn rising takes us into the fifth house. You've seven years of creative revolution. Now that can be romantic. It can involve children and pregnancy, because this is a house that is associated with joy and creativity.
Creativity is ultimately one of the primary ways that the soul experiences its own bliss and its own nature of bliss. We're all supposed to be in touch with that. Uranus through this house over many years, is like, Well, are you in touch with that? You know, have you been what does that look like? A lot of shifts or changes around parenting or child rearing, uh, risk taken in love or creativity, reclaiming what pleasure and the body and its joy looks like creative fulfillment.
So it's kind of like a personal creative renaissance for seven years, and it's reaching a place of culmination right now. There may be also lessons that have been learned about moderation or temperance, of the pleasure principle that also often comes up for Taurus.
Let's move forward to Aquarius, where we see Uranus in the fourth house. And the changes here that Uranus brings into the fourth house are around home, family, the Emotional Foundations of life, property, living environment, parental or ancestral karma.
For Aquarians, it's been seven years of a pretty deep level of work and reflection on these themes. For seven years of life, there has been a constant theme of radicalization, of the roots of your life. Radicalization sounds like political or something.
I don't mean that. I mean like, what makes you feel safe at home, grounded? What does home look like? Sometimes Uranus in the fourth in order to create a safer, more stable, authentic space for refuge, safety at homeness brings a lot of upheaval.
First, you know it, you it might have to rid the house of an alcoholic. I know it sounds harsh, but you get what I mean. It might have to it might come as your parents get divorced, they split up, they start new lives, and then you have to reestablish what your sense of home and belonging and family looks like in a as the adult child of divorced parents or something.
You know, a lot of that kind of stuff. Is Uranus through the fourth but the point is that after a period of revolution at the roots, things are ready to integrate. Now, what does that look like through it's a good time to reflect on it.
Finally, for Pisces, we're looking at the third house. And over seven years, you could say the third house as it is connected to our mental, emotional, cognitive level of of life. It was called The Joy of the moon in ancient Hellenistic astrology and in Vedic Astrology, it's also associated with the mind, the intellect, the emotional body, and the connection between, sort of like our somatic, psychological self and so your voice maybe has changed over seven years, how you know yourself and your mind and how you process emotionally, cognitively, intellectually.
Maybe that's involved different kinds of learning. Maybe that's involved different kinds of skill development or practices, shifts in how you think, write, speak, relationships, also with things like siblings or neighbors or kind of like the ecological, karmic village that you inhabit on the every day, and what kind of role you play in it, and how you fit or don't fit.
That's a important part of Uranus in that house, maybe you have developed an ability to feel more confident in expressing unconventional thoughts or ideas, and you've learned to trust that old mental or emotional patterns have broken open, changed, moved forward, and now maybe you're reaching The end of a long process of psychological and emotional sophisticating sophistication, like you're becoming a more sophisticated person because you're allowing more complex elements of your own nature to be a part of your your mental and emotional ecosystem.
So anyway, I hope this is all interesting. I am thinking funny to me that when I do horoscopes, that I think of people like that, because I was just thinking about Pisces rising that I know, and something that they said to me recently, anyway, yeah, I hope that you're having a great week, and I hope these horoscopes landed in a way that was helpful.
I'm this Sunday. I'm going to be doing a little bonus episode, just telling a story and kind of tribute to Bob Weir from the Grateful Dead in a fun astrological story about a time that I met him.
So that is it for now. I hope you're all having again a great day. Have a great weekend. We'll see you again soon. Bye.
