Today, I’ve posted a video that feels particularly close to my heart as we navigate Uranus’s final retrograde back into Taurus. I wanted to create something more than a forecast—a kind of contemplative guide. In it, I offer three questions designed to help us have a conscious, meaningful dialogue with this energy, inviting more ease and authentic beauty into our lives, before we then look at what this means for your specific sign. I hope it serves as a useful tool for your inner work.

Hey everyone. This is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology [https://nightlightastrology.com/].
Today we're going to take a look at Uranus retrograding back into the sign of Taurus. We have some last lessons to be learned from Uranus and Taurus before it leaves to stay in Gemini for good this retrograde, I have created some questions for us to reflect upon as it heads back into Taurus.
I'll give you those questions today as prompts for working with Uranus over the next several months of its final stay in Taurus. And then we're going to review whole sign house locations and topics as horoscope as horoscopes today, which I hope, along with these questions, will give you a well rounded sense of what we're what we're working with here with Uranus last days in Taurus.
So that's our agenda for today. Before we get into it, remember to like and subscribe, turn on the notification bell for updates. Hype us. If you have that on the options there, you can find transcripts of any of these daily talks on the website, which is Nightlight astrology.com
the main promotion that we are going through today is our year one program's early bird Sale ends at the end of this week. So if you go to the Courses page, click on first year course, ancient astrology for the modern mystic, is our first year program in Hellenistic astrology begins November 15.
The early bird sale is available through Friday of this week, so you have just a few more days to save on the cost of the course. But if you need a little extra help to make the course feasible for you. Maybe you're hurting financially, or you're between jobs, the exchange rate is high, you're a single parent, whatever the case might be, we want to make sure that people don't hurt themselves living outside of their means to take a spiritual course, which we think should be available to anyone and everyone who has a sincere desire to study.
So check out the need based tuition assistance, if that will help you. At the end of today's talk, there is an informational video about the program. I really can't wait for it to start a new course starting under a year in which Uranus and Pluto will be trine to one another in Gemini and Aquarius, a very good signature for studying astrology and transforming your life from the inside out through the understanding of a beautiful Hermes based paradigm.
So can't wait to get going every day I've been saying one reason that I think it's worth coming and studying with us today, I will say I believe our school has spiritual integrity. I believe there are that's a hallmark of many good astrology programs or any good spiritual programs out there, yoga programs, yoga teacher training programs, etc.
What I mean by that is that both myself and the people you'll meet at Nightlight, the staff, teachers, tutors, the readers on our staff, are people that believe that inner work takes place in and through our study of astrology, of course, but also outside of astrology.
So what you're going to find at Nightlight, whether it's myself or again, any of our teachers and people helping out in our programs, is that you have people very dedicated to taking care of themselves, daily meditation, prayer, ongoing learning therapy, different different healing modalities.
You're going to find that at Nightlight, what we support you in is not only your development of learning astrology, but we really encourage you to take time to invest in your inner life, to do that personal, transformative work outside of the classroom.
And so you get you're involved in a learning community that is really emphasizing how important it is that this be a part of an overall approach to life that is about spiritual integrity. So if that's appealing to you, check out the informational video at the end of today's content to learn more about the program, come study with us, starting here on November 15.
All right, on that note, Let us now turn our attention to the real time clock. Let's do a little reflecting on Uranus, backtracking into the sign of Taurus. So what I'm going to do right now, I'm going to remove everything from our perspective, except for Uranus.
And here we are on Tuesday, October 28 we're going to have a live stream, by the way, Thursday, looking at the Grand Water Trine. So if you'd like more on that, we also have our monthly overview for November, horoscopes for November. So lots of good stuff coming this week, but it is coming up very soon.
It is November 7 into the eighth, just a little over a week away that Uranus will move into Taurus. Once it moves into the sign of Taurus, it will stay there for quite some time. It's going to backtrack all the way down to about 27 degrees and turn direct in the month of February, late January, early February, it stations and turns direct.
Then it slowly moves forward and back into Gemini by about April 25 so we're talking about November, beginning of November through about the end of April that we have one last hour in class with Uranus in Taurus, I have created some questions for us today, and then I'm going to take us through brief horoscopic house reminders as a way of just helping us prepare for this transit.
Let me see if I can. There we go. So I'll come back to the horoscopes in a minute. First, I have three questions to ask ourselves. Now to me, these questions are really meant, as I said the other day, I actually backtracked over to my couch and sat down and said, I really mean sit with it, but I mean that when I suggest sitting with these questions, asking yourself these questions.
I mean taking some actual time to contemplate them. To me, that could be five minutes in silence, that could be journaling, that could be bringing these questions up as you go for a walk, while you're on the treadmill at the gym, but taking some time to really reflect on these questions is in a way, like addressing a god that's entering a certain area of your life, if we were in a temple with many, many rooms and many different gods and goddesses in those temples, and you imagine that every time you enter, you have to ring a bell announcing that you're coming in, which is actually done in India.
When you enter temples, you ring a bell to let the god goddess know, hey, I'm here. I'm coming in. The gods come into these different rooms in our lives, but we rarely greet them. We rarely we think, what will they do? What will happen to me? But we don't really think, ah, there's a God or a goddess, an archetypal field that is alive, that's sentient, that I can communicate with, and it's coming into a certain area of my life.
How can I begin an intimate, meaningful, conscious, reflective dialog with this presence, this teacher, when we do that and asking questions like this, in my mind, is designed to help us do that. Then we're going to get so much more out of the experience. Because we're turning a light on, we're lighting some incense, we're putting flowers on the altar, we're ringing the bell saying, I'm here, I'm here to learn.
I'm here to grow. And you can even do this, by the way, reflecting on the entire passage of 2018 to 2025 where Uranus has been in Taurus over that whole period, any of these questions could apply in retrospect to the last seven years, as Uranus spent that much time in Taurus.
But anyway, here are the questions to ask. With the sign of Taurus. We're thinking of the exaltation of the moon and the feminine earthy sign of Venus, the sign of the bull, the middle of spring, as the light is rising in the northern hemisphere, all symbolic.
Of course, these Moon Venus, feminine, earthy kinds of qualities ask us to consider, where does peace, enjoyment, pleasure, flow, happiness, steadiness, even a vibe of simplicity. Where do those things exist in my life in a healthy, happy way already? Where could they get stronger? Where could things get a little easier, a little happier? Where could there be a little bit more pleasure or steadiness? Steadiness is we so greatly underestimate how important steadiness is.
By the way, you can hear Thor. That's our Connie Corso puppy. I don't think you guys have met him yet, but He's snoring mightily so you can hear he has the Taurus thing totally figured out. He's got the he's just such a weighty, dense little dude, and he's like, he's six months old.
Anyway, where do I need greater ease, flow, happiness, pleasure, steadiness, where can I create more of those things? Is it in my body? Is it in my work? Is it in my relationships? Is it in my parenting? Is it in how I curate my home environment? Are is it in my social groups, social spheres and circles, will visit the topics of the houses in a minute.
And then you can apply this question to that area of life. Where is there an invitation for just that, that Venus, Moon feeling, you know, ease, flow, peace, serenity, simplicity. There can be a sense of control with Taurus. But it's where control and ease, flow and simplicity come together with control that it is really the best of Taurus, if you want to put it that way.
So this is a question to ask ourselves, where can I create more of this? Where is there a little bit more work yet to do with respect to these qualities, their creation in my life. Number two, what still requires a makeover? Taurus, although it is a very earthy and can be a very simple sign, is also a sign that loves luxury.
It loves comfort, it loves beauty. And so we might ask ourselves, where is something asking to be beautified. Where is something asked to be made over? Is it again? Is it our home? Is it our body? I've had Uranus in my first house for seven years, and it has coincided, as I've shared with you guys, with a huge transformation of my physical form, my body like a big makeover in the form of five years of body building, fitness and training and diet and so forth, bio rhythms.
So it really could be anything. Does your workplace need a makeover? Does your house need a makeover? Does your basement or your bedroom require a makeover? And by makeover, it could be something really mundane and superficial, like the way something looks. Or appears, which really isn't superficial. But it could be that external is what I'm trying to say, but it could also be something internal.
Beauty does not always have to be just an external appearance thing with Taurus, it has to do with value, and how we assign value, not value as in moral value typically with Taurus, but value as in an esthetic, a sense of what is pleasurable, beautiful and appreciated.
What do I appreciate? What do I have and hold that? I say, Yes, I like this. This sparks joy in me, as Marie Kondo would say, right? So what still requires a bit of a makeover might be another really good question to ask ourselves and think about makeover in the deepest, most soulful way that you can number three, where does my relationship with the material world and or the body require further transformation? Uranus and Tarnas asks us to reconfigure our relationship with the material energy, time, energy, food, what we spend, how we spend it, what we have, what we possess or acquire, assets, resource management, anything and everything that speaks to how we have hold work With material things, material forms, material forms of energy, where does my relationship with pleasure and the pleasure body, with the desire and the instincts of my body, my appetites and the pleasure principle, you could say, within me, where does that require further work or transformation? For some people, that might mean eating less or spending less.
For others, it might mean loosening up and enjoying a little bit more. But you know where that is, if you take the time to reflect, to say, welcome Uranus into this beautiful sign of the Goddess, teach me from within, where does my relationship with the material world and body require further transformation? I think if we ask these questions sincerely and ring the bell that the gods, it's just so much lighter and easier to work with, because there's nothing worse.
There's nothing worse than feeling like things are happening to you rather than being in a relationship with something that's unfolding. And we get there when we're consciously asking and talking to these experiences as entities that we have a living relationship with, rather than responding to as objective, mechanistic things happening to us as victims of circumstance.
Of course, there's that dimension to things we experience, the ups and downs of fortune, and we go, wow, why did that happen? Or, Wow, look at that. Wasn't that great? Or didn't that suck. And there's a feeling in that of something objective happening, and that's a way, it's like a mode of experiencing things that's valid, but it's that inner relating that we do to experience itself that takes the astrology and brings it into our lives as a spiritual practice.
And this is what I mean when I say spiritual integrity. By the way, we want to cultivate modes of consciousness that experience life as a living spiritual matrix of being. All right, let's move on to some horoscopic reminders. Take those three questions and apply them. If you're in Aries rising to the house of money and resources, if your Taoist Sun are rising to the house of identity and body, if you are a Gemini rising to the space of what is unconscious or unseen, to what undermines you, or to what you need to make more conscious somehow, if you are A cancer, then it is groups and community.
It's a sense of where you fit in the world and what social networks are most important and create the greatest happiness or ease, or how they need to change. If you're a Leo, it's the career house. It's the place where you intersect with the public and you have a reputation or a job or a vocation or a calling.
For Virgos, it's about your beliefs. It's about education. It's about gurus, and it is about the process of learning and enlightenment. It's about your beliefs and the shaping of your spiritual understanding of things, maybe foreign countries as well. For Libras, it's about soul contracts. It's about bondage and liberation.
It's about attachments and entanglements, and what they give and bless us with, as well as what they take away or keep us hold us back from. And it's about liberation from those that are unhealthy, and maybe liberation in the form of new bonds that provide us with new resources.
For Scorpios, it's about relationships. It's about intimacy. It's about sexuality. It's about partnership. It's about the interpersonal domain and sphere of life. For Sagittarians, it's about that work a day world. It's about the daily grind, the daily work, the daily sacrifice, the daily efforts, how you work with and overcome frustrations, anything that you have to apply effort toward, that you have to you.
Exert yourself to achieve. And it's about what breakthroughs can come in that area of life, as it has been for quite some time now. For Capricorns, it is all about the creative sphere of life in the fifth house, sorry, I got stuck there for a second, creativity, the arts, a sense of being in touch with some authentic creative spark within yourself, children and pregnancy, but creative Dharma is where it's at.
For Capricorns, for Aquarians, it's in the home and family house. It's in the sphere of life that is focused on things like roots, ancestors, parents and your parental karma, also roots and foundations of things, and the foundations perhaps being shaken up or changed somehow.
And then finally, for Pisces, it's Uranus in the third house, the place of the mind, the emotional, mental center of your being, what you're learning, how you're expressing yourself or communicating, maybe the topic of siblings or your immediate or local environment, like your village or neighborhood.
And changes happening in there that have to do with how you speak up or speak out, stand out or stand up, those kinds of things come to my mind for Pisceans. So these are just brief house reminders that I want you to take alongside of these three questions to ask.
Let's review, where do I need greater ease, flow, happiness, pleasure or steadiness, what still requires a bit of a makeover. And where does my relationship with the material world, the material energy, the bodily sense of things, the sensual domain, require further transformation, further healing or further change? I think if we take those questions seriously and bring them into that house placement, the topical domain, as a little bit of a compass, sort of pointing us in the right direction that we're going to get a lot more out of Uranus last months in the sign of Taurus.
Now, at some point, what I'll do is like a retrospective. We'll visit the whole timeline of Uranus and Taurus. And of course, we will probably prep ourselves again for Uranus re ingressing into Gemini. So there'll be more to come, but it felt like a good moment to pause as we're literally like a god is entering a new room in the psyche, and it's good to ring the bell.
So I hope on that note, remember if you are someone who likes this way of thinking about astrology, connecting it to things like mindfulness, prayer, self care, therapy, healing, work, we believe that astrology should be one part of a spiritual lifestyle, and that's something you're going to get when you're in our programs.
You're going to get a community of people who believe that this should be one part of an overall approach to a spiritual life. So on that note, stick around to hear me talk about the program next. Remember early bird rate ends at the end of this week.
You can use need based tuition up at the start of the program, which is November 15. It's coming up soon. Hope to see you all in class and yeah, meet Thor. Meet Thor. The Kanye, course. Let's see if you'll come Thor. Buddy. Hey, are you awake little bit anyway? All right, we'll see you guys later.
Bye.
