Have you ever noticed how certain endings feel less like loss and more like a deep, necessary exhale? That's the territory we're navigating this week as a purifying South Node lunar eclipse arrives in the sign of Virgo. There are moments in life when something reaches its natural point of completion—not because we forced it, not because we failed, but simply because its time has come. This eclipse carries that quality of karmic resolution, inviting us to witness what's ready to be released so that something more essential can take its place.

Today we're walking through how this Virgo eclipse will activate each of the twelve houses in your birth chart. Whether it's landing in your sixth house of daily routines and health, your tenth house of career and reputation, or your fourth house of family and inner foundations, there's a common thread running through all of these placements: the invitation to let go of perfectionism, self-criticism, and the endless project of trying to fix what was never broken. The South Node asks us what we've outgrown, and Virgo asks us what's actually worth our attention and care.
There's a difference between the discernment that comes from wisdom and the criticism that comes from fear. A lunar eclipse on the South Node in Virgo doesn't ask you to become more perfect—it asks you to finally see that you were never meant to be. What would it feel like to release the constant inner editor and trust that you are enough exactly as you are, right in the middle of your becoming?
If you'd like to go deeper with these themes, I'm hosting free daily meditations Monday through Saturday at 9:30 am Eastern, and Silent Sundays at 11:30 am Eastern—a space to sit with what's moving through you and share with others on the path. And if you're in the Twin Cities, I hope you'll join us March 6th at the Grapevine Collective for an evening of reflection and community healing around the Spring Equinox.

Hey everyone. This is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology [https://nightlightastrology.com/].
Happy Monday, everybody. Today, we are going to do some horoscopes for the upcoming Eclipse that's taking place in the sign of Virgo. The Eclipse is a lunar South Node eclipse in Virgo that's happening tomorrow. We spent some time looking at this from an archetypal and evolutionary perspective last week. You could also go back and check out those episodes for more.
Today, we're going to do horoscopes, take it through all 12 whole signs and give you some sense of what might be happening in that Virgo area of your birth chart. That's our agenda for the day. Before we get into it, as always, remember to like and subscribe. Subscribing helps us immensely. So if you listen regularly and have not yet subscribed, if you click the subscribe button, it helps us grow and sustain ourselves as a business, and we really appreciate it.
You can find transcripts of any of these daily talks on our website. That's NightlightAstrology.com.
A couple of promotions before we get started with today's episode. I'm going to take you over and remind you that every single day we are meeting in daily meditation. If you go down to the daily meditation group, scroll down, and you will see that we have a free—it's free. It's Monday through Sunday, every day of the week. Monday through Saturday, it is 9:30 am Eastern Time. We meet for about 30 minutes total, 20 minutes of meditation.
And then on Sundays, it's 11:30 Eastern Time for Silent Sundays, which is a session that lasts about an hour and a half because we do half an hour meditation, then we have a time for group sharing and processing what's coming up for you, what insights and realizations or healing are you experiencing with this daily practice, or even just whatever came up for you that day. It's a really nice way to connect and deepen and create more of a spiritual practice around astrology. So that's something that would work for you. It's really nice to have it in a group setting. It's free, our way of trying to give back to this community and marry this more to spiritual self-care.
The other thing to promote is, if you are in the Twin Cities, we have an event coming up on March 6 at the New City Center in Minneapolis, the Grapevine Collective Spring Equinox. We're going to have a night of reflection, collective healing, talking a little bit about the spring equinox. It's a little prior to the equinox, but there's been a lot that's been happening in the Twin Cities lately. A lot of, I think, a bit of collective trauma, and definitely, like we could say, the collective nervous center of the city has been activated in a way that's been really hard, honestly.
And so we're hoping that this will be an evening you can come in community. We can process and share time together and do some meditation, some light yoga movement and really healing. This is free, so RSVP just so we know you're coming, but it's March 6, 6 to 8:30 pm Friday night. Hope to see some of you there.
All right. Well, on that note, I am going to proceed with today's horoscopes, so let's do that next.
All right, so we're going to go through all 12 whole sign horoscopes. And the first thing I want to mention is that a South Node lunar eclipse in Virgo, as we talked about last week, is a very purifying kind of eclipse. Lunar eclipses around the South Node really have a way of bringing things to karmic resolution. You could think of it as a burning off of karma, usually of the kind of burning off of karma that leads to a deep sense of cleansing, healing, purification, crystallized insights as you reach really the end of a cycle.
The emphasis on other worldliness or internal psychological realizations can be quite strong with this placement. So as we are taking a look at this, we're going to go through each whole sign house, and we're going to be focusing on the topics of the house, given the nature of the eclipse.
So let's get started with Aries. If you're in Aries sun or rising, you can listen to this for either. You're going to find that the eclipse is taking place in your whole sign sixth house. So I'm thinking about the release of work routines or burnout patterns, or any kind of self-sacrificing roles that are quietly draining you. You want to think about those as something that are reaching an expiration date, which is maybe a very good thing.
Now, there could also be a bit of a karmic reckoning around your health or habits or stress cycles, or any kind of perfectionism that's crystallizing in the body and giving you feedback. Sickness has a way of being a teacher, sometimes with eclipses in the sixth. The need to surrender control that you don't have to fix everything, get everything right, so any kind of compulsive improvement or criticism tendencies might be ready to be released. If there's patterns of over-analysis or anxiety, they may be ready to be released.
And if there's anything you've been working on for a long period of time, developing practices, skills, habits, abilities, you may also be reaching a threshold of completion with some of those things, because this is a house that recognizes good work done, hard work put in.
All right, let's go on to Taurus rising, where we find this eclipse, the Virgo lunar eclipse in your fifth house. I wonder about patterns of self-criticism or perfectionism within love, romance, within your children, or child raising, if you have kids, or even if you are an artist. How have patterns of criticism or perfectionism played a role, and are you ready to release some of that so that greater, deeper joy can be felt?
Maybe there's karmic closure happening in the weeks ahead around creative projects, editing projects. I know, as a Taurus rising myself, I'm working through with a professional editor the copy of my book before it goes to press. Now, there could be anything involving fertility, children, the inner child, where internalized guilt or shame or "I'm not good enough" stories are lingering. Maybe it's time to let go of some of those. Anything that has been a performative identity where there's been a pressure to perform and get things right, that your self-worth has been something you've thought of as connected to performance—that's a fifth house thing sometimes.
And then sobering realizations about what brings joy versus what feels like obligation. Where does the joy or happiness really flow in your life, and where do things feel dry or stale?
Let's move on to Gemini next. With Gemini, we're looking at the fourth house eclipse in Virgo. So we're thinking about ancestral family karma surfacing, needing healing or integration, any kind of caretaking or duties around the family patterns that are reaching resolution or closure in some way. If there is a hyper-responsibility, control or perfectionism around how you manage your home or family or living environment, maybe it's time to let go and find a little bit more ease or flow.
Maybe there's some kind of decisive clearing or purifying taking place in your home or family. You could be downsizing. You could be organizing, decluttering, Marie Kondo-ing your way to happiness, you know, insight. Any kind of insight into inherited patterns of criticism, anxiety, perfectionism that are rooted in childhood or your upbringing—that could also have carryover into how you treat those people you live with, your family, your children. And maybe there's also closure along domestic, private family karma in general. That's how I'm looking at it for Geminis.
Now for Cancers, we're talking about the third house. There could be karmic developments happening here with siblings or peers. That's those are third house dynamics, for sure. But also, I think more mental-psychological would be the releasing of self-critical thought loops or ways of perceiving yourself in reality that are anxious or controlling or rigid or a little dry or narrow.
There might be something that a project of some kind of learning or education or skill development, or something you've been practicing or developing that's served its purpose or is reaching a point of completion or integration. Maybe there's just a way of cleansing or changing your daily schedule, the environment around you, so that there's less noise, less clutter, fewer obligations, easier, freer cognitive, mental, emotional space.
And I also wonder about words, thoughts, communication and speech, and what you're learning, or what kind of feedback you're receiving about the environment, mentally, emotionally. So those are things to watch for if you're a Cancer rising.
Now if you're a Leo rising, we have the second house eclipse in Virgo, and we're talking about scarcity consciousness, potentially with the South Node there. Especially if there's been a diminishment or lack or loss of funds or money or resources, maybe you're reaching the end of a cycle where things have just been a little drier or harder financially. But the good news is that maybe that cycle is kind of wearing itself out.
Now, there could be anything where there's a need to reorganize what you have, your assets, your values, your money. Untangling yourself from things that are an unproductive use of time or energy, simplifying possessions, purging your closet. You know, patterns around what you have and why you have it, what the values are—your values as they relate to your resources. And then anything involving spending and sensual gratification, or the joyful use of resources, as opposed to maybe a sense of guilt or shame, or, you know, some sense of being maybe frugal or conservative with resources to a fault. Those are all the kinds of tensions I could see coming up here.
All right, also things like food, eating, diet for Leos too could be important somehow.
Now, with the Virgo first house eclipse, we're obviously talking directly about the house of identity. And so this is one of those eclipses that can really help you shed layers that have been built around, you know, maybe a diminished sense of selfhood or self-esteem. Like, "Unless I'm useful, or unless I'm competent, or unless I'm good at things that other people deem to be valid or useful, then I'm not worth much." Maybe it's time to redefine what self-worth means and looks like in a more personal way. Like, what do I think makes me valuable, useful? What gives me value and joy? Releasing the inner critic might be another way of putting it, if it's a defining feature of your personality.
Now, there could also be just physical, energetic detox. Old stress signatures or old patterns of illness or disease that are sort of ready to be released somehow. Any kind of work you've been doing on self-improvement, reaching maybe a stage of completion after at least a full year's worth of doing so. And maybe there's some kind of karmic culmination taking place with respect to how people perceive you and who you are versus how you're seen, which can be a kind of first-seventh house dynamic in general. So those are some of the things I'm seeing for Virgos, a lot to do with identity and health and body.
For Libras, it's obviously the 12th house, and that's a kind of a slippery, tricky place to talk about with an eclipse, because it's often about, you know, unconscious guilt or shame or perfectionism, idealism versus realism, things like that that dwell in a slightly more unconscious space. It might be about dreams, memories, the subtle things that are coming up and maybe being explored in therapy, or maybe you're going to therapy. It might be about what's happening behind the scenes or in more invisible or private spheres, what you feel trapped or drained by that you sort of feel helpless to do anything about. But this eclipse might change that.
Maybe there's also some need for a quiet retreat or rest or solitude or space of surrender. This is a great eclipse to begin sobriety or to begin meditation, or to begin a process of recovery or healing from something that you're really seeing it's time to heal. Any kind of insight that you have into self-undermining behaviors or attitudes that are rooted probably in Virgo, in ways of being too hard on yourself or others, could also come up right now.
For Scorpios, we're looking at this in your 11th house, which means that eclipse is taking place here. Lunar eclipse would mean that it's time to release any friendships that have, um, served their purpose but run their course. Friends, allies, groups may need to change or shift course somehow. Karmic resolution in communities or group roles where you've been the problem solver, letting go of long-term goals that were driven by, you know, some kind of external validation, feeling not good enough as a, to a fault.
Maybe there's just a kind of pruning or careful discriminating differentiation of what friends or groups or allies are the right ones to go forward with from this point. There could be some very clear insights into the way that your hopes and dreams have been shaped by certain fears or anxieties rather than actual desires and joys of the heart. I mean, sometimes, in other words, we create aspirations and hopes for our lives that are really rooted in kind of like fear and anxiety. Like, "Oh, I just want to be accepted. I'm going to do everything I can to be accepted." But underneath that is the unexplored fear of maybe a lack of self-worth.
But the point is, exploring long-term dreams and ambitions would be appropriate right now, and maybe refining them in some way, getting wiser about what your dreams and ambitions are and who the right people are to join forces with, so to speak.
For Sagittarians, this is taking place in your 10th house. I think about closure around something professional or public. Is there a sense of being burnt out or overworking, or have standards been too high or critical or perfectionistic? Are some of those tendencies being released? Have you played the fixer, the helper? Is it time to be more of a leader, or is it time to have more self-respect and better boundaries around what you will or won't do to help?
Is there any kind of reckoning happening right now with respect to your ambitions or your professional role or reputation? I think any kind of releasing of reputational anxieties, fears, perfectionism would be totally appropriate here. Also, sometimes with the lunar eclipse in a differentiating earth sign like Virgo, the clarifying that takes place right now around your career has more to do with subtraction rather than addition. It's about taking things out that get you down or getting closer to an essence that feels right. So, but changes in the workplace environment overall would be totally fitting for this.
All right, well, with Capricorn, the eclipse is taking place in your ninth house. In this ninth house, we're exploring the release of belief systems or individual beliefs, or teachers or teachings, or reaching the end of an educational process, or reaching a place of integration or understanding after a lot of endeavoring to understand and learn something. It could be that there's a space of culmination around something academic or involving something in publishing or teaching.
I would say that letting go of a constant, deductive, analytical, overly rational approach to knowledge or wisdom might be called for, especially with, you know, the emphasis on so many planets in Pisces at the same time. Could there be a more inductive approach that speaks to right now? Maybe there's some kind of pilgrimage that you need to take, or spiritual religious feeling of cleansing or purification.
And then I think that the need to integrate humility into wisdom, whatever that means or looks like, you know. Can you have a sense of discernment that's not rooted in cynicism? Can you believe something while still allowing for your doubts? These are the kinds of syntheses I'd not be surprised to see happening for Capricorns right now.
Let's go on to Aquarians who have the eclipse taking place in the eighth house. Here, you might be clearing debts. There might be a sense of literally paying off a loan or a debt, or perhaps some refinancing a house or a loan, paying off taxes, getting a new CPA, changing investment strategies. Also, the negotiation of power dynamics—emotional, psychological, fiscal, financial, sexual dynamics in relationships—being let go of and transformed somehow. Intimacy patterns being changed, transformed, looked at, healed, especially where there's been any kind of theme of criticism or control.
Letting go of psychological fixations that are rooted in fear and anxiety, purging old resentments. These are the kinds of things that could happen in the eighth. I think that any kind of sober realization or recognition of mortality, impermanence, or the relinquishment of attachments could make sense here. And then any kinds of boundary clarifications that need to take place in relationships where there needs to be trust, but also careful discernment at the same time. These are the kinds of things that I wouldn't be surprised to see Aquarians dealing with right now.
That eighth house is a Moksha house, which means a lot of it has to do with relinquishment of attachments. But also, life is attachment. There is attachment to everything all the time. So what does healthy attachment look like? I mean, that's a real deep eighth house question. The unhealthy ones typically are relinquished, and everything naturally has a way of dying and changing anyway. So the eighth house kind of points to that process of change and loosening of bonds.
Now the Pisces takes in the eclipse into the seventh house, where there could be karmic closure in significant relationships—romantic, business, contractual relationships. Interpersonal dynamics that are more important now. That could look like a relationship ending, but it also could be that a season or a phase of a relationship has reached its conclusion and a new pattern is ready to emerge in a relationship that's healthy. It doesn't necessarily have to mean the death of a relationship.
Seeing clearly where criticism given or received has eroded your relationship health or well-being, that's something to watch for. I would watch for the impulse to perfect or rescue people, or the need to be rescued, for someone else to have to always be the boundary setter. Any kinds of roles that are rooted in subservience or diminishment of selfhood rather than reciprocity. And then just some real, crystallized insights around old patterns in relationships that are sort of peaking and reaching their moment of, you know, like "I've understood something. I've been through it enough now to understand what needs to stay, what needs to go."
So it's a real inflection point along the journey of intimate and personal relationships right now for Pisceans.
Okay, well, that takes us through all 12 signs. So before we go for today, first I want to say tomorrow we're going to have a little bit more coverage on the eclipse. We're going to revisit it again from yet another perspective, and I kind of have some ideas on workshopping, so it'll be fun.
Don't forget, you can come meditate with us every day. And before we leave, I want to show you what's on my altar for the week. Okay, let me change my camera.
So this week, on my altar, I have Demeter. She's missing an arm. But, you know, as my wife said—I said, "Can I use Demeter? It's in her office." She said, "Sure, she's missing an arm." And I go, "Oh." She goes, "We're all a little injured." And it's true. But yeah, I mean, it just felt like Demeter felt like an appropriate, you know, kind of goddess image for the lunar eclipse in Virgo this week.
So just feeling thankful for connections to all these gods and goddesses and really how they enrich our lives when we welcome them in as symbols moving through the psyche, moving through the psychic atmosphere that we live in, like fish that don't know they're in water. You know, this channel is meant to be a little dip of the toe into that water every day. I hope it is that for you.
I hope you're doing okay. Really, it's been a lot, you know. I said that recently in another episode, I was like, "You guys, okay?" I really mean that, though. That's why I've been trying to create some daily practices—meditation every morning, Silent Sundays—where you can just be in a group and be heard if you need to just vent a little about what's going on in your life and maybe how the meditation is playing a role.
I want this channel to be a daily source of spiritual nutrition, you know. Just to remember we're in a sacred cosmos, and it can be so overwhelming, but it helps if we're in daily practices of remembrance. So even more than, you know, I care that this channel be an accurate description of what's going to happen with your eclipse. I hope we get close to that. You know, always, I want to be a good astrologer, but I also hope that this is a place that can be a respite, you know, a sweet place of feeling safe and feeling like you can trust that you're in a magical universe even when we're going through a lot, you know?
So that's always the intention here. And just know that that's my practice behind this. This is more than just a job for me, though it is that too.
Anyway, much love to all of you. We'll see you again tomorrow. Bye.

Loved the armless Demeter symbology. How perfect. Ha ha.
