Hey everyone. This is Adam Elenbaas from Nightlight Astrology [https://nightlightastrology.com/].
I Okay. Welcome in, everybody. We're
getting started here in just a minute.
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas, if you were celebrating, got the new year coming up. Solstice is we've moved through the solstice gateway. It's that
time of year where a lot of us start
looking forward to the new year, and so I think this is going to be a really nice time to spend together today looking at our eclipses for the next year.
I'll wait until we get more people in here, but if you are
just joining us, tell
us where you're coming from in the comment section, where are you hailing from? This morning,
all right,
I love seeing people coming in from all over the world. Makes me feel really excited,
and I have to apologize, you guys, if you caught my last live stream, you know, I was like on the edge of getting sick, and I have been, I haven't been this sick for a long time.
Right after the live stream a couple of days ago. Yes, that was Christmas Eve day. I spiked 103
degree fever, which I didn't come down from until this morning.
So I have just been totally wrecked for like two days.
And my kids got influenza, and my wife then got it. And then I thought I was in the clear,
but then I got it, and I have been down with a fever since the last time you guys saw me. And I woke up this morning and I was like, Oh, thank God, my fever is gone, because I didn't know how I was going to do this live stream, to be honest. Thankfully, I had everything written already, which meant all I have to do is get up and, you know, communicate something that I've already created.
So there was going to be no work involved. But I was like, Man, if I have a fever, I'm not sure I'm going to be able to do
it. And that would have been a first, because I've
somehow, I've always managed to
plug away, but here I am, through the grace of the gods, able to able to do another live stream, pound the drum with
barely any force in my wrists. It's a little it's like,
but we're gonna go.
We're gonna go, we're gonna make it through.
We're going to talk about the nodes of the moon moving into Aquarius and Leo. I'm going to keep it a little bit shorter today, because I can guarantee you I will pass out and sleep for several hours after I'm done today. But, yeah, I haven't been able to go to the gym. I definitely, when you got a fever, you're not going to the gym. So
I've been
but I had planned to take, you know, I got my workout in on the morning of Christmas eve before the live stream. So
I had planned to take Christmas day off from working out. And then today, I was going to go work out, but I'm not going to. I'm going to try to get well, and I'll finish up my my program over the weekend, hopefully.
Oh God, Ashley's been get Ashley's been giving me so many herbs. I don't even know what they are, man, I've just, I've been drinking them, and then, just like,
they're so gross, they're so disgusting. She's given me all sorts of stuff. She's like, drink this. I'm like, This is your chance, isn't it? Everything you've ever wished you could do to me? No,
I'm kidding. She's just like, cooking up a storm of stuff for me. But the weirdest thing, like, the thing that I hate about getting the flu
is that you can't really eat, you know? And like, Christmas is like, one of my favorite eating days of the year, so I haven't been able to eat anything.
I've been in bed with a fever. And man, fevers are like, dude, fevers are like, out of body experiences, guys. They're like.
Are so psychedelic. I was like, I was in some other dimensions. I've had a lot of really nice insights, a lot of really like, you're gonna die someday. Do you know you're, you're gonna die someday?
Just like, so otherworldly. So it's been, it's been wild.
But anyway, I've got some special stuff cooked up for all of you guys today on the nodes of the moon and and
don't worry about me, because once I'm done with this today, I've got the rest of the day to rest. So I'm very happy to you know,
be here today and spend some time with all of you. But let's hear where you guys are coming from.
Bucharest, I love that you've been here so regularly. Florinda, thank you for being here from all across the world. You know,
let's see where else are you coming from? Central Valley, California, Delaware. Cheers. From Las Vegas. Hey, Las Vegas. In the house.
From Athens,
okay, Athens, that's good. I'm going to move a little bit more slowly today. From Austin, Texas, from Spain,
amazing
Livonia. Hey, Michigan, in the house. You know, it's so funny. Yesterday, my my mom is here with her partner, and they're from Michigan. They grew up, you know, my mom, dad grew up in Michigan. They're divorced. My mom has a new partner, so she's been with him for like, 10 years now. Anyway, they came over for Christmas,
and they're big Detroit Lions fans, so for Christmas, yesterday,
I got them tickets to go to the lions Vikings game, because it was here in Minneapolis, and I knew that I'd be going over to my wife's side of the family later in the afternoon, and, you know, they would just be sitting here otherwise. So I sent them to the lions game. I thought, well, they're gonna win because lions are so good and the Vikings suck so bad this year. It'll be a great Christmas present. They'll probably get to see them their team, you know, clinch a playoff birth or something like that.
They got their butts kicked.
I was secretly so happy, you know, I was like, I
was like, I'm so happy to give my mom and her partner, my Lions fans a gift to see their team eliminated from the playoffs. So I had this like secret devilish satisfaction and having given, given them a Christmas gift to go to the game see their team get beat, it wasn't,
it was, it wasn't the original intention, but as I was laying on the couch, like in a fever dream, watching my team like, weirdly, You know, they're they're just not that good this year. So to watch them suddenly beat the lions. I was laughing so hard, I was like, ah, that's so funny.
Anyway. Okay, if I laugh too hard, it feels like I'm gonna faint. Like, what if fevers are so funny, they're like, if you move too much, we'll just make you pass out.
Okay, what? Houston, Maine,
Chile. Chile. Wow. Jamestown, Saginaw,
Columbia, Central, Alberta. Oh, wow, snow. I love, I love you're getting snow. That's, that's great.
Millersport
from New Zealand,
Saginaw. Hey, I know where Saginaw is. I went to Central Michigan University for my master's degree.
Yeah,
from Idaho.
All right,
good,
okay, guys, should we get into it? Let's get into it before I die. I'll
just it's the first I was following this astrologer. I really appreciated all of his content. And then he just died in a live stream.
He passed out right in his chair. He he hit the ground with a thud. That was, that was, it was the last we ever heard from him.
Okay, so guys, here's where we stand today. Before we get into it, we're going to be talking today about the nodes of the moon changing signs into Aquarius and Leo. The north node of the moon is moving into the sign of Aquarius. This year, the south node into the sign of Leo, and we have transitional eclipses taking place prior to the nodes changing signs. So it's a big year in terms of the direction of our lives and the way that the direction of our lives is.
Is partly guided always by eclipses. So I thought this would be a really good day, as we're looking forward into a new year to consider the change of direction indicated by the nodes of the moon that's coming. So
I have written something that I prepared in advance. Thank God I can just read something
I promise I'll try to still be as animate as I can reading this reflective essay that I wrote about the nodes changing signs.
But anyway, and then I've got some some horoscopes for all of you as well. Before we do that, I want to promote the Kickstarter campaign. So now I'm going to use my sickness
as a tool to leverage your deepest sympathy for me and the Kickstarter All right, here we go. I'm going to drop the link to the Kickstarter campaign into the chat box. Guys, we are down to five days left. We are down to five days left. And let me do a real time. We're at 1221
backers.
We need to get to 2043
backers, which means we still need 822
backers.
We need 822
backers in about five days. That's crazy. We've done it before in the past. It's funny because now I'm like, Well, maybe I'll the Kickstarter won't work, and then I'll die, and it won't matter anyway.
That's what it's felt like the past two days.
Oh my god, I was talking to my dead grandmother last night.
I swear to God, I was talking to my dead grandma. Was crazy. Fevers are gnarly, man. It was so cool though, like, I was like, seriously, talking to my dead grandmother, and I was just so thankful. I don't know if any of you, does that sound crazy? It's not crazy when you have a super hot, hot fever, it's very dissociative. You're like in a completely different universe. Anyway, I was talking to my dead grandmother last night. It was very beautiful. And she was talking to me about what it felt like to die from cancer at the end of her life. And I was wow. I just, you know, when you have a fever, you It's hard because between time when you're really, really sick, you you kind of forget what it's like to be like, really, really sick, and then when you're really, really sick again, it's kind of like, Oh, God, I remember. I here I am again. It's been years for me, literally years. I don't even remember the last time I've been as sick as I have been the past two days.
And I was like, God, this like, people leave their bodies this way, just feeling this sick. It is really hard to leave your body in a place of trust and surrender when you're feeling this sick, it's scary, you know. And my dead grandmother came, and she was like, This is what it felt like when I was dying from cancer, you know, it was very scary and, and she was like, but, but, you know, God, God carried me, and I was okay. And it's purifying. I needed that reminder. I was like, Thank you. Thank you. Grandma, Frieda, I happened to be born on her birthday, so it was really special that she came to me
anyway.
Alright, all on that note, guys, we need 822
backers in we need it in five days.
So we have a long way to go. If you have not yet donated and you get something good out of this channel, please consider supporting it.
$5 donation is good, but we have so many good rewards available. Let me take you over and show you what they are. And then we're going to get into
your eclipses.
All right, so on the right hand side,
you'll see that when you scroll down, there are rewards available, some really cool rewards. There are a number of guided meditations, the astrology of 2026
chapter by chapter, release of my new book that's going to be starting later in the year. Very excited about that. Year ahead horoscope readings. If you want to get all 12 signs a forecast for the entire year ahead. Check that out. Lot of good work. There a lot of master classes that are available, including this upcoming year's master class.
Tons of previous master class bundles. Those are like 40 hours worth of content on advanced topics in astrology. Check all of those out. The best thing we offer are our class passes. So if you want to come study with us, pick up one of the class passes. Come study with us, and
you can save significantly off the cost of the courses.
Goes up to about 70% off when you get a three, four class

Those are our best deals of the year. I highly recommend taking advantage of them. Those class passes don't expire. You can use them anytime you want.
And
there are four years worth of professional astrology curriculum that we have. Four years worth of content on our website. You can learn about all of those classes, and you can use the past the class passes for any of those programs. And again, they don't they don't expire.
All right, so
here's the link again to the Kickstarter campaign.
Let's rally some support here at the very end, see if we can cross the finish line in the next five days before New Year's Eve, and during this today's live stream. Let's see how we can do
we're sitting at about 1221
backers or so.
Let's see if we can get like 20 or 30 backers during today's live
that would be fantastic. All right. Well, on that note, I'm
going to bring up the real time clock, and we're going to take a look at
take a look at this year's eclipses.
Okay,
let me put up the real time clock and show you what I'm looking at.
Okay,
first of all, let's get the timeline straight before we continue.
Let me go to
Oops, here we go. Okay.
So the eclipses this year are, there's four of them, and two of them are going to be initiating eclipses, taking us into the round of eclipses in Aquarius and Leo.
So on February 17,
we're going to see our first one. Let me go forward here just a little bit
the fact that this eclipse, by the way,
here we go.
This eclipse is happening just a few days before our Saturn Neptune conjunction in Aries. That's pretty amazing. So this is the first out of sign eclipse in Aquarius at 28 degrees of Aquarius happening on February 17. This is our first official Aquarius eclipse.
The nodes are not going to change signs until August. I'll show you that in a second. But here is the solar eclipse in Aquarius. Now, this eclipse, you can see, is also happening in a very tight square to Uranus. So it's a very powerful solar eclipse. It's only partial. It's still, you know, about 11 degrees away from the north node of the moon. So it's not the world's most potent eclipse in terms of its totality, but it is squared to Uranus, and it is the first of our eclipses in Aquarius. So you're going to get like, an introduction to the Aquarius Leo cycle here.
The second that we will experience will come in August so if I go forward to August 12,
on August 12, we'll have a solar eclipse in the sign of Leo.
And this solar eclipse in Leo will be an out of sign Eclipse, just like the solar eclipse in Aquarius.
This is taking place almost exactly as the nodes of the moon actually change signs. Yeah. So I'm excited about that one, that one, that one's going to be landing on my ascendant ruler. So I'm like, ooh, that ought to be interesting. That'll
I have a fever. Now, let's see what happens then. No, I'm kidding, but let's go to
there we go. This is the mean nodes changing signs by about August, 19. So just after that solar eclipse in Leo in August, the south node will change into Leo, the North Node into Aquarius. So
that's the timeline of our eclipses this year. So.
So what I want to do next is read to you a reflection that I've written on the meaning of the nodes changing signs. Now I want to be very clear in telling you that what I've done here is I've taken a blended approach. I have blended the evolutionary, modern evolutionary perspective with the traditional Indian perspective, because those are the two
traditions within our horoscopic
history that focus on the nodes of the Moon from a karmic perspective, modern evolutionary astrology and Indian astrology look at the nodes of the moon in terms of a karmic path or trajectory. Ancient Western astrology doesn't really use that language, so I'm not going to include the ancient Hellenistic perspective today. It's going to be like an evolutionary meets Jyotish perspective.
And I think that this will be interesting, because what it's going to do is it's going to give us a sense of what that north node path in Aquarius is drawing us toward from a souls, a soul evolution perspective, while also giving us some warnings about what Rahu the north node can do, that will trip us up, because in ancient Indian astrology, it's not as simple As go do the North Node, and you'll evolve. It's, it's, there's a lot more care and concern that you have to give to Rahu as a place of potential entanglement. So we're going to kind of blend these two perspectives, and in this way, I think we'll have a well rounded way of saying, yes, you're going to feel compelled to go in the direction of north node and Aquarius shed, so to speak, in the direction of South Node Leo.
But what are the temptations of Rahu and north node that you have to be aware of as well?
So here's what I have for you.
Pray that I don't literally fall off my my chair. I feel so out of my body right now. It's wild.
All right, here we go.
Whenever the nodes of the moon change signs,
we're invited into a very deep and consequential form of soul listening
the nodes speak to us through a kind of quiet orientation.
They describe how our consciousness leans. They describe what our consciousness reaches for. They describe what our consciousness repeats, and they describe what we're being asked to outgrow.
In my experience, the nodes are less about what happens to us, though things will happen to us, and they're more about how we are pursuing meaning.
In modern evolutionary astrology, the North Node is understood as the soul's forward pull.
It's a direction of growth that feels compelling, precisely because it is not yet mastered, or it is unknown, or it feels like something that has yet to be satisfied within us,
it often carries with it a sense of fascination, a sense of restlessness or longing, as though life is urging us toward this new terrain,
and the south node, by contrast, will describe what has already been lived.
The South Node is like a very familiar posture for the soul shaped by past patterns of success or past life identities, if you believe in that kind of thing, or how we've survived in the past, the South Node, in my view, is never a flaw. It's memory.
But if you lean too heavily on memory, it can become a constraint rather than a resource.
Ancient Indian astrology deepens this picture by naming the nodes Rahu and Ketu. And they have a whole mythological history I won't get into right now, but the nodes in ancient Indian astrology are not just evolutionary signposts, but forces that are bound up with desire, attachment, illusion and liberation. Rahu, corresponding to the North Node, represents appetite,
the hunger that propels one incarnation after another. It's the drive to experience, to have experiences and new bodies and new lifetimes and new chapters within each lifetime that we live right here and now. When the notes change signs. It is the desire to become, to reach beyond the present moment in search of fulfillment somewhere in the future or some where we have yet to feel satisfied or complete or whole. Rahu amplifies anything that it touches. And it is always whispering. Rahu is that satisfaction lies just.
Head, that the next identity, the next vision, the next alignment, the next realized goal, will finally resolve the ache of incompleteness.
Ketu, on the other hand, which corresponds with the South Node, represents the residue of past experience. It's associated with detachment, renunciation, in the sense of having already been there.
Ketu cools desire, it brings natural disinterest in certain pursuits, not because they're immoral or wrong, but because they no longer carry vitality for the soul. If you ask me, right now, would I like a drink for New Year's Eve? I'd say no, not because of moral principle, but because I truly don't want a drink. I've done that enough before, and I know that it doesn't really make me happy.
That's very Ketu like
it brings Ketu brings a natural disinterest in certain pursuits, not because they're immoral or wrong, because they can no longer carry vitality for the soul, yet Ketu
has its shadows as well. Detachment can become disengagement with Ketu and renunciation become can become avoidance,
what once liberated can quietly turn into a refusal to fully inhabit a life and repression obviously accomplishes nothing. So when these two perspectives of the nodes are held together, the nodes reveal themselves as a living tension in ancient Indian astrology and not a moral hierarchy or a simple linear directionality. Go toward the north node. Growth requires desire.
It requires experience. It requires living a life where desires are acknowledged and pursued authentically. But
from the ancient Indian standpoint, we have to be aware of the fact that desire can and will entangle us.
Release can bring clarity, but detachment can isolate. Growth requires desire, but again, desire can entangle so the evolutionary task is not to choose Rahu over Ketu, the North Node over the South, but to bring consciousness to the relationship between them. Now, as the nodes shift into Aquarius and Leo, his tension becomes especially pronounced.
South Node in Leo speaks to a history of prominence. Let me show you. I wanted to make sure that I acknowledge the authors that I revisited while writing this talk. This is a great book by Steven Forrest, yesterday's sky. This
is a great classic by Jeffrey wolf green Pluto, the evolutionary journey of the soul. I was revisiting, brushing up on my evolutionary astrology literature while I was writing this talk. And I want to make sure I cite them, because the perspective that we have on the nodes and these signs that most people have really came from their brilliant way of articulating these things, and I think it's important to acknowledge the great teachers in the any lineage that we're talking about.
But anyway, onward, the South Node in Leo speaks to a history, Soul history. Let's call it of prominence, of visibility, and let's call it creative authority.
We know that Leo is the lion the king associated with royalty, Dominion and centrality. Like the sun as the ruler of Leo is the center part of the solar system, so to speak of the South Node in Leo as a kind of symbolic royalty. Doesn't mean we have to think about literal crowns or literal thrones, but to recognize that there is a karmic familiarity in the soul with status, with recognition or being seen as exceptional.
And these kinds of positions we know can be earned through genuine accomplishments, or they can be inherited through circumstance. I think, for example, about two different visions of fame. One, you're born into the royal family. Two, you become a movie star from modest beginnings. Either way, you end up becoming royalty,
regardless, being central in any position, no matter how it's come to comes with expectations. Roles are prescribed, values are inherited, and identity is shaped in a dialog with how one is perceived by others, and the projections that one receives,
even admiration, can become a constraint when it demands performance rather than authenticity. Think about how many celebrities wear glasses to be shaded from the sun when they come out into the world, the projections of sunlight that people put on them as solar figures is something they have to hide from so they can just be a person.
Even admiration can become a constraint when it demands performance and.
Rather than just authenticity, and over time, the South Node in Leo as the self can be shaped less by inner truth and more by the projections of a surrounding world or audience or community or family or marriage partner, even
I. In the present life, this doesn't require wealth or aristocratic birth. It often shows up simply as a tendency to shine, to stand out or to be noticed. Others may view such individuals as lucky or gifted or Wow, they're just naturally successful, regardless of the effort actually involved. Creative expression may come more easily for people with South Node and Leo, and we're using this now to project what it might be like for all of us with the South Node coming into Leo.
Leadership may be expected. Even style and presentation can carry an effortless sense of color
or charisma,
and yet, beneath this very leonic visibility, there can be this subtle alienation, a feeling that one is being seen but not known, the
evolution evolutionary vulnerability lies in the creation of a life shaped by external forms of validation. Success becomes defined by applause rather than alignment or creativity turns theatrical rather than truly dharmically expressive. Identity becomes something enacted rather than a fulfilled sense of living something.
I don't think this happens super consciously, having worked with people with South nodes and Leo for many years, I think it usually arises from a sincere attempt to fulfill expectations to be worthy of the roles and projections that one is given
now opposite this,
the North Node in Aquarius calls the soul toward freedom,
not the superficial freedom of rebellion or novelty. It's not a te shirt that says I'm a punk on it. I think Aquarius represents true individuation, which is the capacity to live according to one's own inner truth, even when it creates an otherness socially.
In other words, when your inner truth places you at odds with social cohesion or acceptance, it doesn't make you easily likable or easily famous or easily shiny and bright to receive the projections, the validation, the applause, the love of others.
This can sometimes mean that there's a period of alienation, of standing apart or of feeling different or out of step with a dominant culture. From an evolutionary perspective, this sense of difference isn't a failure. It's not a failure of belonging or adaptivity. It's a developmental necessity.
The soul can't grow any longer inside of social validation structures or projections that have become crystallized or outdated. So old identities, old values, old roles, especially those inherited through family. This is what makes you shiny, bright and lovable. This is what makes you valid and endearing to families, groups, cultures, work, environments, they all begin to feel restrictive when the south node is in Leo and the North Node is in Aquarius, and the urge comes up within us to question everything. How should I live? What should I value? Who should I be? Because
you make come to realize that you don't feel like people are really seeing you who for who you are, or there's an inner dissonance between the way that people want you to show up and the way that you feel you really are.
Aquarius asks for this kind of
objectivity. It asks us for enough distance and detachment emotionally to see where a conditioning has put you into a role that, yes, maybe you receive some love or validation from, but it's not authentic any longer.
So
it's tempting Aquarians objectivity is notoriously called cold
but actually with the North Node in Aquarius, this kind of objectivity, of really looking at yourself and saying, Well, I get some validation from this, but it's not really who I am, and I have to be very clear and objective about this, that's actually a tool of liberation when the North Node is.
In Aquarius. Without it, the soul will remain entangled in roles that worship but don't reflect the truth.
It's like you're going to start worshiping at a false idol of selfhood within yourself, and you're
starting to realize it doesn't feel good,
but we have to be very careful here, because Rahu has to be handled very carefully. Back to what I was saying about Indian astrology. It's not just a simple moral prescription, go do the North Node, revolutionize who gives a shit what anyone thinks about you know, the desire for freedom can become reactionary in rejecting the past. One may simply invert it. Let me tell you something. When I was a kid, I went through a period of time when I was in junior high, and I wrote about this in my book that's coming out, I went through a little kleptomania phase where I would like steal random shit. It was really weird, because I didn't steal anything that was really of any value. It was all random shit. And I became very clear during a sequence of Ayahuasca ceremonies that one of the reasons that I stole random stuff, like just really weird random stuff, a sip, pair of scissors or something, you know, was because I was the preacher's kid and I was in the spotlight, and I didn't like that. I had to play this kind of socially defined role. And I didn't, I didn't like that it was a performance, and that they were all like, it wasn't me, you know. And so one of the weird ways that I had of trying to like that's not me. I'm not this good, bright little Jesus boy was to steal shit when nobody was watching.
So silly, you know? And then I went through, I had a very deep sense of remorse and a kind of
a really profound lesson that came up for me as a kid, and I wrote about that in the book too.
Anyway, a lot of the times
we can go to an extreme to try to liberate ourselves from other people's projections. Do you know what I mean? And we have to be very careful of that with Rahu in Aquarius, because the desire to be free from other people's projections and to inhabit a new selfhood can become really radical. It can become like, well, what can I do to
not let myself be owned by someone else, and that can be very reactionary and very impatient.
Old visions of success can be replaced with rigid visions of how things should be. I remember in the early to mid 90s, when I was in junior high and going into high school, that you know, alternative rock, indie music, indie films, were all subversive, but people were also basically
trying to forge new identities based on things that were counter they were the counter narrative, you know. And I was found it ironic that people were like, you know, oh, now there's masses of us wearing ripped up jeans and flannel shirts. We all just decided to go to the thrift store on the exact same day, I guess. You know. And so
the thing about Aquarius is that
to rebel just for the sake of rebelling isn't enough. It's not that rebellion is not the answer. Rebellion is something that has to be in half, like, what is your rebellion is more about who are you authentically than just rebelling to get away from the trap of a false identity or projections. You can't just rebel to rebel. It doesn't work,
because if you rebel just for the sake of rebelling, even if it feels impulsively like the right thing to do,
ideals can harden into dogma and non conformity becomes its own ironic performance, like Leo all over again. So Aquarius, when it's unconsciously driven by Rahu, can project salvation into the future. It can mistake ideas for wisdom, detachment for clarity, moral certainty for truth, a rebellion for evolution, rebellion for authenticity. The danger is not the soul seeking freedom or authentic break from an old role. The danger is that it believes freedom lies entirely outside the present moment. Just one more break away, one more re definition, one more vision ahead. So
as eclipses begin to form along this Aquarius Leo axis, these dynamics tend to surface with clarity. Eclipses will start to reveal imbalances. Eclipses temporarily darken what's familiar so.
That what has been overlooked can be seen. That's a simple explanation of what eclipses do.
So under these skies in 2026
questions may arise that feel unsettling but necessary. For example, to what extent is my identity shaped by projection rather than inner knowing or truth?
Where has desire for approval masqueraded as purpose, where has the pursuit of freedom because it become another way of avoiding vulnerability.
I think that the work of this nodal cycle, for as big and loud at it as it is with Aquarius and Leo, is also very, very subtle.
It doesn't ask and ask us with the South Node in Leo, to abandon creativity, leadership or the heart. I don't think Leo is being erased here. It's being purified. The heart's learning how to shine without demanding recognition. Creativity is learning how to express itself without performance. Leadership is learning how to serve rather than dominate. And I also think that Aquarius doesn't ask us to withdraw from life or float above it or not care what anyone thinks about it. It asks us to participate differently, to form new kinds of social identities or belongings based on shared truth rather than inherited norms, to risk being misunderstood in order to live more honestly,
to make choices that may look strange or impractical to some people or even wrong by conventional standards, but which align with the soul's deeper integrity. And how can we do all of this while still remaining humble,
some decisions under a cycle like this will appear illogical to people. They'll go, Who are you becoming? Why don't you fit the mold that I've had you in?
Why don't you conform to the shape that I appreciate or that I am used to? And so when we're evolving personally and we're caring less what other people think about us, it can be very there can be a lot of pain involved.
Our decisions may look just illogical or strange or quirky to other people,
but some paths
need these detours or disruptions of familiar molds that we fall into. The
evolutionary measure is not approval. When the North Node is an Aquarius. It's freedom, freedom from projection, from compulsory roles and from identities that no longer breathe in our own hearts.
Held together. I think the South Node in Leo and the North Node in Aquarius describe a movement from being shaped by the expectations of others, towards shaping a life from within, from being defined by applause, toward being guided by truth, from standing at the center of a stage, towards standing in integrity, which is the only stage that ought to matter to us when the North Node is in Aquarius and the south node is in Leo, whether anyone is watching us or not.
And I think there's if there's anything to be warned of during this cycle, there's a compassionate warning.
Desire can always teach us where the growth lies, but it can't be trusted blindly.
Detachment can free us, but not at the cost
of the heart, somewhere between the hunger of Rahu and the release of Ketu, the brilliance of Leo, the objectivity of Aquarius,
there is a quiet courage required, the courage to
live truthfully into a new, evolving sense of who we are, even when that truth will not be instantly recognized, celebrated or approved by others, culturally, socially.
Now I will say that's that's my reflection for us today, but I will add this one little point,
which is that
I do believe that the North Node going through the sign of Aquarius will also
bring up some of those Rahu
compulsions, collectively, In other words, the kind of like
Fu, I don't care what you think freedom at all costs. I don't care about being liked.
The extreme version of that is always forgetful of the need to be
an orienting center of life and vitality. You.
So the balance between these two is that even if you have a very provocative,
subversive perspective, there is still a way to deliver that in a manner that is encouraging and warm and bright.
And what I would be aware of is that tendency for North Node Rahu in Aquarius to abandon Leo,
and what that looks like to me is the
person who is provocative and rebellious and defiant, and even if their ideas
are dazzling, and even if there's something about lifting that middle finger to what anyone thinks about us that feels compelling and even necessary,
caring enough to be kind, caring enough to be encouraging, caring enough to communicate in a way that's still heart centered, caring enough to communicate a provocative or differing or other perspective
in a way that is coming from the heart is still incredibly important.
The South Node in Leo isn't about abandoning the heart. It's about leaving behind things that are no longer heart centered.
Finding new things that are can initially feel like you have to resist someone or something that's telling you to be something you're not, but as soon as you find what you are, get back into the heart with it, or you will be lost all over again.
I hope that helps.
All right, so
at one point in that transmission,
I was flying
through another universe.
I barely remember anything I just said,
because I am so sick right now,
that was wild.
Like I was like, like, I was like, flying through the air in like a snowstorm, with like, goggles on,
all right?
Before I do some horoscopes for you guys,
let's promote the Kickstarter campaign. All right. Link is in the comment section. Guys, we are 47 minutes in. We have 300 people in the live stream. We have had four backers in 47 minutes so we can do better. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Come study with us. Pick up a class pass. Dive into your studies of astrology at Nightlight, or pick up one of the gifts that we have so many awesome rewards available. When you support this channel, ask yourself a simple question, is this a place of consistent, high quality astrological and spiritual content? Do I get something good out of this? You know, does it help my life? Does it provide me with some humor and laughter, insight, astrological learning? Does it help me keep my moral and spiritual compass pointed in the right direction.
Because guys, if I can show up and do this when I'm sick, because I care so much about this work, and if we can all value the daily tracking of our lives through astrology,
then we can do this. We can support a channel that has the right vision, that has the right direction, not just myself, but a team of people behind the scenes at Nightlight, 12 of us that make this thing fly,
and so you get something good out of it. You know, we're here day in and day out,
year round. We give you guys good content. If you like it, pitch it and support it. $5 $10 it all really helps.
Here's the link again in the comments section,
please consider pitching in and supporting us before the end of the year. Here we have quite a ways to go. We still need over 800 backers left before the end of the year.
Okay, well, then thank you to the 1224
people who have already backed us. Holy cow, that is absolutely amazing. And that's what makes it, makes it easy for me, you know, every year to show up no matter what, to just keep chopping wood and carrying water. And, you know, holding this being a part of what holds this tradition alive in the world, because I see it touch people's lives and it touches my own. And even now, like I'm in the middle of being sick, I was having all sorts of wild astrological insights. It's great you don't have to suffer a fever, you know, for two days without getting some really amazing astrological insights. I was like, there's some things going.
Out of my chart, I became aware. I was like, Oh yeah, that's interesting.
In the midst of being sick, what else in the world gives you something like that, where you could be in the midst you could be, you know, just totally fever dreaming and being able to see some astrology in the midst of it. That's what I love about this. So anyway, it's great to be here with you guys today. Let's keep going. I'm going to do some horoscopes for you guys. Don't forget to head over to the Kickstarter if you're listening to the replay of this. The the link is pinned to the top of the comment section or in the description of this video. Thank you guys. Okay, all
right, let's do some horoscopes.
Now. I'm going to change the nodes of the moon. I'm
here we go.
We have family here. My mom and her partner are here visiting us, and all my my kids and family are downstairs,
so the dogs are with them right now. They'd be really sad to be cut off from the pack, you know. So I'm just here. I'm just here chilling today by by myself, but they'll be back this week. I'm sure I'll
answer this question. You talk a bit about the decans masterclass, yeah, so we're going to be working through all 12 all 36 decans, all 12 signs, all decans for each sign. So for example, in the winter master class, we'll do Aries Taurus and Gemini in three classes, and each class will cover one sign in three decans per sign, you get about two hours covering the three decans of Aries, and then two hours covering the three decans of Taurus, like that. So you're essentially taking, you know about let's see 1224,
2425 hours on the decans, a thorough walk through the decans in the master class, and how to use delineations of the decans in your practice or in your own chart, or transits, or whatever
you
I got some electrolytes in here. It's really funny.
I was like, maybe, I don't know, like, a day into my fever, and I was hydrating myself pretty well, but I was like, you know, all of a sudden it hit me. I was like, add some electrolytes. I have these sugar free electrolytes that I use. So I dumped some electrolytes into my water. It was amazing how much clearer my brain felt with electrolytes added to my water, as I was, you know, trying to stay hydrated.
All right,
let me get this lined up, and then we'll get started. All
right, so I've written some horoscopes today that I'm going to read with you if going to take the nodes through the houses and give you a sense of how this nodal shift will be impacting you based on the position of the whole sign houses of your birth chart. You can listen to this for your sun or your rising sign. We'll go through each of them.
So we start with Aries. If you are an Aries, you're going to have the North Node moving into your 11th house, and the south node in your fifth house
eclipses across the these houses in this position emphasize the evolution from personal centrality toward collective contribution. So if you're in Aries, the south node in the fifth reflects a sole history of creative prominence of personal expression, or the need to be special or seen. Well, this nurtures confidence. It can also isolate and so the North Node in the 11th will invite participation in larger so.
Communities, networks or shared collective social spaces.
Obviously, the caution is going to be about losing individuality within the growth within the group, but it's also about finding the right group within which to creatively contribute or creatively individuate. Growth will come through one's offering of one's gifts to something larger, without abandoning of the heart. That's what I see for Aries.
Now for Tauruses, we're talking about the North Node in your 10th house in Aquarius, with the south node in the fourth, the call here is toward public contribution. South Node in the fourth reflects strong attachments to home, family or emotional familiarity, which can become a refuge from risk. The north node in the 10th will ask for visibility, responsibility and more purposeful engagement with the world.
The danger here is going to be about defining worth solely through success or status publicly. The deeper work is to bring inner private values, your inner life, into public life, so that vocation or public reputation is able to reflect authentic purpose and authentic internal selfhood, rather than inherited expectations.
But think about the evolutionary potential there for your career to mirror something of the inner life and inner worth. There's also questions about
family inheritance, karmically in public, social or professional development, publicly or socially.
Excuse me, all
right.
Gemini,
north node is in your ninth house. South Node is in your third
so when eclipses form in this shape across the ninth and third,
there's the need to reopen a search or quest for meaning from a new or broader perspective or vantage point. South Node in the third suggests habitual thinking, familiar narratives over reliance on your own mind and concepts and your own intellectual or psychological orientation. The north node in the ninth will invite a perspective broadening, a seeking of new wisdom, information teachers, through study, travel, exposure to different world views. You You have to be careful, of course, of dogmatism or of fanaticism, religiously, philosophically, but the evolutionary task is to allow your perspective to widen without closing your mind
and to let new experiences reshape belief and your own psychology, so that you can inhabit new paradigms heart in a heart centered, authentic manner. But also this really is ultimately a transit of broadening your perspectives. I Yes.
All right, so cancer, you have the North Node in the eighth house south node in the second. When eclipses fall across these houses in this orientation, the soul is invited to move into deeper formations of trust and bondedness in the eighth house. South Node in the second reflects attachment to things like stability, materially financially, possessions or fixed values that once provided security. But over time, these can become limiting.
North Node in the eighth will
increase the need to be vulnerable and to share in things with others, to engage with a certain level of uncertainty that comes when you're reliant, at a more deep level upon other people. Transformation occurs through letting go of control. The danger would lie in romanticizing,
intensity or crisis. That's a north node, eighth house kind of thing to think that you can't grow without a crisis.
Growth comes from learning how to share power and resources consciously without losing self respect, but also about truly saying it's okay if I'm dependent upon someone else.
All right, Leo, so if you're a Leo, you've got the North Node in the Seventh South Node in the first
relationships become the site of growth the South.
Node in the first will suggest the sole history of strong self definition, independence, identity form through self reliance. And while this can be a great asset to you, it can also isolate you. So the North Node in the seventh will typically invite learning through partnerships, the mirroring of partnerships, cooperation, compromise and mutual engagement and reflection with people that you're intimate with. I don't think this has to mean losing yourself, but you want to be careful that you don't.
But rather, it's about allowing other people to shape your self understanding and to help you evolve.
You don't want to idealize relationships or project your fulfillment onto another person, but you also want to open yourself up to
a more objective understanding of who you are and the potential to continue growing through the perspective that can only come if you decentralize your own perspective and really allow someone else's in.
All right,
so
for Virgos, we're moving with the north node into the sixth house and the south node into the 12th.
The evolutionary emphasis of the North Node in the sixth is often from withdrawal or otherworldliness, into participation and daily work and labor and sacrifice.
The South Node in the 12th can reflect a tendency in the soul history to escape,
to leave the world,
or to be invisible.
The north node in the sixth typically asks for more engagement with daily life, tending the body, refining habits, offering practical service to the world.
The danger of the North Node in the sixth house is going to be overwork or perfectionism,
but the deeper task of the North Node in the sixth house is going to be to integrate spirituality into the ordinary rhythms of life, which is to say, bringing a kind of transcendental, mystical, otherworldly reality reflected by the south node in the 12th into the things that you care about and work on behalf of every day.
Another way of looking at the North Node in the sixth house would be in terms of learning to manage time, energy and the material world in healthier ways, and
having to look very deeply at what is positive self esteem, and how is positive self esteem shaped
because of the way that you work and act day to day. Sometimes we think self esteem is a baseline thing that you should just feel about yourself. The North Node in Aquarius in the sixth says, actually,
if you work out, if you hydrate, if you rest, if you eat the right food, if you take care of your body, if you work on things that are meaningful to you, if you put your best effort into the things that you're learning, if you make meaningful sacrifices, These all contribute greatly to your sense of self esteem. And so paradoxically, the North Node in the sixth house is sort of like
daily upkeep is the path to a much deeper and healthier sense of self love.
All right, let's move on to Libra. So here we get north node in the fifth house, south node in the 11th.
This highlights the tension between individuality and the collective. South Node in the 11th suggests a past shaped by group identity causes collective roles and belonging probably came for Libras at the expense of personal joy or creative risk. The north node in the fifth for Libras says, To reclaim your heart creative expression, play romance, courage, to feel more personally invested in life again, and to do so regardless of what other people may think of you,
it's not a selfish thing to care less about how you fit into the world, and that kind of social calculation is hard for Libras to let go of the South Node in Leo and the 11th though, will say
it's not good enough to be liked socially if I don't feel like I'm.
Finding an authentic creative voice within myself.
Growth comes through creating and loving from your heart without losing awareness, of course, of the larger whole of the social reality of life. But Libras are going to be learning to let go of social approval in the year ahead in a way that might be startling for some Libras,
all right,
for Scorpios, the North Node is in the fourth house. The south node in the 10th.
There's a rebalance here between the public and the personal or private life. South Node in the 10th will reflect the kind of soul history of identities that have been shaped through achievement and responsibility or public notoriety, authority in the world and recognition in the world may have defined purpose for different chapters of the Scorpios life here, but Often at the cost of emotional reality or inner emotional truth. North Node in the fourth will invite a return to that inner foundation where your emotional honesty, your care for your inner life, is paramount.
This is not a series of eclipses that eliminates your public life or your career, but it reroutes it in a more real and authentic assessment of what lies inside of you.
Evolutionary task here is to build a sense of home within yourself so that whatever public roles you play are aligned with it.
All right, Sagittarius.
Sagittarius rising the North nodes in the third and the South nodes in the ninth.
This is another access of learning and meaning and philosophy. The evolutionary movement here with the North Node in the third is away from fixed belief system in inherited philosophies toward lived, immediate understanding. Whenever the North Node is in the third house, it's as though the south node is suggesting past life orientations towards truth, that something that is known, doctrine, ideology, you know, inherited belief systems,
and that maybe you've conformed to and found that you were liked or loved because you knew how to behave according to a set, set structure of rules or religious or philosophical beliefs. But the North Node in the third will call you into curiosity, dialog, learning and engagement with everyday life, and it will ask you to say
your own experience is going to be the leader of what you know or what you believe. It's it, it's important because the third house wisdom is found in listening and letting your own experiences guide you like breadcrumbs to the realization of your own truths. It
doesn't mean that you can you have to discard any kind of religious, philosophical moral compasses or traditions. It just means that you have to weigh them against your own ongoing personal experience. You
right. Moving on,
getting my notes straightened out here. All right, so Capricorn,
north node in the second house, south node in the eighth
This typically happens when the soul is learning to stabilize itself from within. So the evolutionary task that's being emphasized is about developing resources and material security or self reliance. South Node in the eighth will point toward prior patterns of entanglement, shared resources, crisis, bonding, power dynamics that have defined meaning and certain level of dependency or codependence.
So the North Node in the second will typically invite simplicity and grounding. I am my own best resource. I have my own resources. I have my own talents. I have my own skills and values,
and I need less, I'm less dependent upon others. So the south node of the eighth will often bring disentanglement from bondage and disentanglement from dependencies. And the north node will bring further self reliance, or self sufficiency. And.
That doesn't mean anything and everything that you share with others has to be discarded, but it does mean that there's probably a period of evaluation coming up.
All right for Aquarians, North nodes in the first house, South Node seventh, the
evolutionary pull here is towards self definition that's not being shaped by partnership, approval or intimacy.
There's a call whenever the North Node is in the first house to figure out who you are on your own terms. South Node in the seventh can suggest a sole history of defining your purpose through your relationship, often being seen or validated or feeling like you are special
because of how other people assign value to you,
and that's always important. Social life and relationships aren't to be discarded here, necessarily, but it does mean that the North Node is asking you for the courage to stand alone or apart, to be your own person, to be less defined by what other people confer upon you as your value or worth and more about what you determine to be your own worth.
You all want to be careful of not being so assertive and individualistic that you burn bridges or lose relationships. So I don't think that growth here comes from opposition and power struggles necessarily just honesty, just self honesty.
All right. Finally, Pisces, this takes us with the north node into the 12th house, and the south node in the sixth.
The south node in the sixth suggests a sole history of duty, service, work in the world, usefulness, but maybe also exhaustion and sickness.
And the North Node in the 12th tends to invite us into a space of letting go.
The north node in the 12th says, How can you surrender and let go of feeling like you have to be perfect, or feeling like you have to work toward salvation? Or the sixth house is such a chop wood, carry water house, the 12th house is like taking a retreat to an ashram for a week of meditation, and, you know, quiet time.
And so any way in which we can disentangle ourselves, it's a Moksha house, and liberate ourselves from suffering, especially the sixth house, kind of suffering, which is that daily, hard,
grinding work
and even a kind of servitude.
The 12th house will invite us into ego dissolution and healing and releasing or surrendering
into a kind of other worldliness that says, look, the material world will be there with all of its chopping of wood and carrying of water to be done. It's not going anywhere, but for now, a period of time in which you step apart from duty and hyper vigilance, and that might feel like a great act of rebellion. For some people, stepping apart from the world feels like, Oh, I'm abandoning someone or something, or I'm disengaging, I'm bypassing I'm you know, it's just because you take a break, just because you set the world aside for a moment, doesn't mean you've abandoned it forever. Sometimes that perspective is the most revolutionary thing we can do. Just give yourself some time away. Just give yourself a break. Doesn't mean it has to be escapism,
becoming more aware of unconscious patterns that shape our everyday relationship with the world
as well. So if you're someone who experiences a lot of stress, North Node eclipses in the Six can make you aware of the actual source of that stress in your material experience, day to day.
All right, we did it. We got through them.
So
how's everybody doing?
All right, I'm going to we've had 13 backers in an hour and 15 minutes.
We're going to go into some Q and A and let's see if we can get some more backers too. There's the link to the Kickstarter campaign in the chat the live stream. It's pinned to the top if you're listening to the replay of the comment section. It's in the description of the video. Head over there. Help us get to our goal. Let's see how many backers do we need left here, let's do 2043
minus 1233
we need 810 backers in just about five days left. So
if you haven't yet supported us, please consider pitching in.
Thank you to the 1233
of you who have become our patrons in the year ahead. We just so deeply appreciate you guys. Let's see if we can cross the finish line here in the next five days,
a couple of announcements.
There will be a live stream on Sunday. We're going to do live birth chart readings. Come and join us for some live birth chart readings and Q A,
and then Monday, I'll be doing
a live stream, and then we have some good content on Saturn Neptune to round out the year, Tuesday, Wednesday, next week. So that is what's on the schedule.
I'm happy to take your questions if you have them. So if you have any questions, put them in the chat box. I'll hang out for maybe like 1520 more minutes.
Scroll back and see if I missed any.
I backed earlier today with both of my emails. Oh, that's so nice of you. Thank you. So whenever people are like, you went to the trouble of putting a second email address and I'm like, That's so sweet. Thank you. It's really nice of you.
Thanks Adam for being here even when under the weather. Yeah, you know, I want, like, if I had had a fever, I don't think I would have done it, but, but I didn't have a fever this morning, so I was like, All right, I'm gonna be loopy as hell, but let's go. Let's go,
yeah,
South Node, moving into Leo with Jupiter. There is a pretty unique, is pretty unique, and almost seems like a contradiction. What do you think
it could make us a couple of things that come. That's a great question. First of all, I think it could bring up a few really interesting points.
I remember,
I remember my wife and I got approached to do a reality show when we had our yoga studio,
and they wanted to follow us around and show our lives as a spiritually married couple running a yoga studio.
This was when Jupiter was in Leo last
and
we were initially both very excited about it, like, Wow, that's so cool, you know? Like, who wouldn't be excited about that? But then when we thought about it a little bit more, we realized that it it wasn't going to be a good idea for us,
for a variety of reasons. I won't go into all of it, but the main reason was that we thought to ourselves, our yoga studio, really our community is so special, and everyone really trusts us.
And there's something about
the genre of reality television that dramatizes,
and even though these people are telling us, don't worry, we won't make it dramatic, we didn't trust that there wouldn't, I
don't know, just we didn't trust that it there wouldn't be some element of drama that was put into
the presentation of our lives in our yoga studio to make it more sellable. You know what I mean. So we ended up saying no, and this would have gone through
a process. It's not, it not it's not that
there. I think they have to do a pilot, and then it has to sell. And so there was a whole thing. But anyway,
that was Jupiter in Leo, moment of pretty deep self reflection for me and my wife, that I could see is there's like a little parable in that for the South Node Jupiter in Leo.
So when the south node and Jupiter are in Leo, the temptation could be, hey, you'll be popular. Hey, people will project and confer a lot of meaning and value on to you, right? But you know, if you're going into it, that it could be a kind of meaning and value and confirmation of your worth that's not actually seeing you for who you are. Wouldn't that be a very powerful Jupiter in Leo with the South Node in Leo, kind of temptation to be offered a reality show that doesn't actually see you as a real person, even though it could also build your career.
You see what I mean. So
the danger of Jupiter in.
Sign of Leo at the same time as the south node is that there could be a lot of blessings that come, that that look like they're coming to augment your your life with good fortune, but are only reiterating a hollow, outdated version of what success means or looks like, or what power or authority or greatness or visibility or fame or status looks like when actually there's something hollow about it. That would be very Jupiter South Node together in Leo. Now, on the other hand,
one of the things that's really amazing about the Jupiter South Node connection is that the south node is also about the blessings and the benefits of past life karma. So the south node is not just generically, you know, bad or outdated. There can also be this way in which
things that are ready to be harvested from the past are
are brought to bear. So let me give you another example. That same year, while Jupiter was in Leo,
I got invited to do readings at a gifting suite backstage at the American Music Awards, and I went backstage and did some readings, and it was super cool. And I did readings for some very famous people. And, wow, this is amazing. That was very Jupiter and Leo.
And I think, like, honestly, like that, that felt like a very healthy
like, a really, like, clean version of Jupiter and Leo. I really valued the experience. I learned a lot about it. Learned a lot about
a certain
you have a lot of thoughts about what fame is, until you're actually speaking with famous people as a reader. That was a year in which I also did some really meaningful work with celebrities in my practice, Jupiter and Leo year.
So,
so yeah. Anyway, long story short,
Jupiter in the south node could bring together some real blessings and benefits that have been harvested through past effort. Now, the thing with the south node is they may confer blessings upon you that you recognize as like stuff that you've you've banked through a previous version of yourself that you're no longer super aligned with, but they're blessings nonetheless, like, Look, if in the next year, some kind of success came to you and you were like, Well, I'm really thankful for that success. It's not exactly aligned with who I am any longer, which you wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. You'd probably still be very thankful for any success you received, even if it was kind of conferring success upon an old version of you. That's another way of looking at Jupiter in Leo.
All right.
What other questions you guys have? What
kind of things have you seen in your practice over the years when it comes to nodal returns.
Well, yeah, if you're if you're like, for me, this will be a flipped because I've got my north node in Leo and South Node in Aquarius,
that'll be interesting.
The Flipped returns are always interesting. But what you can say about the nodes of the moon is that they're like river currents running through your chart, karmic river currents,
and they ebb and flow
in in your lifetime, during different periods of time, the currents will never be stronger than when you have a nodal return. That's one way of putting it. So if you're getting a return right now with the North Node in Aquarius, South Node in Leo, then that core evolutionary desire to evolve and to leave behind outdated modes of self. Leo, in favor of authentic individuation and revolution, not caring so much if you fit in or not or are loved or liked or not because of the direction of your evolution. North Node, Aquarius,
that's an inborn trait of this lifetime, from an evolutionary EA perspective, then it doesn't get stronger than at the times when the North Node and south node are realigned in the same places, those become like,
you know, what is? What is the phrase I'm looking for,
watermarks, something like that. They.
Anyway, they become inflection points of that evolutionary desire or intention that's coming with the soul into this lifetime. You could say
flip nodal returns are interesting, because it's as though the temp the in order for things to move forward in a certain way, you sometimes have to cross back and go in the opposite direction I would I would speak of this from the standpoint of the type of writing that I learned when I was in graduate school, the kind of writing that I studied in creative nonfiction was called braided memoirs.
In a braid in a memoir is a way of moving backward and forward in time, weaving past, present and future
into and out of one another. And so it's a nonlinear movement, even though it's linear, the story feels like it's moving from the past to the present, but it doesn't feel it is moving from the past to the present, but it dips in and out of different time periods. Different time periods, and it weaves back and forth.
Flip nodal returns are like the braid of a life story in terms of having to go backward before you can go forward again. There are periods of time where the value of the past life reference of the South Node in Aquarius or the North Node in Leo, whatever they have to be revisited in the order that prioritizes their their flip sorry. I'm like, I'm my my brain is such a soup right now. I'm so sorry.
In other words, like, let me just put it this way. So for my South Node in Aquarius, which is at my mid heaven, and my North nodes in Leo, in my fourth house,
the like
when the North Node comes through Aquarius, even though this lifetime for me has been a lot about learning to become like. I was very like. I don't care what anyone thinks about me when I was younger. Progressively I had to be more like, No, I actually really care what people think about me very north node in Leo.
This would suggest that temporarily, it's going to be important for me to recalibrate that Leo north node by a period of
individuation again, where I have to go through a period of like, caring less what other people think about me, and socially or publicly, probably being more contrarian or Even less likable for one reason or another, visibly publicly being more rebellious, or
in the choices I make to define myself publicly or professionally, having to go through a period where it's more contrarian, for example, that would be
not the natural direction of my soul in this lifetime, because my north node in Leo is Telling me actually it's important to not be such a contrary in this lifetime, but to actually experience that Leo sense of belonging or approval or whatever. But this will be a period of time where you have to kind of reverse that temporarily
anyway.
So there are like these evolutionary periods of time where you have to the wisdom of the south node becomes the important point again, and the
North Node is being like temporarily, sort of curbed or tempered. And it's as though that, you know,
I would say with Leo and Aquarius, it's as simple as saying that
even if your north node is in Leo, you're going to have to go through periods of time where you have to re evaluate
exactly what it means to be authentic and individual before you can be liked or loved again. You know, something like that.
It's like the, it's like the currents of the river are flowing in the opposite direction for a period of time,
watersheds. Yeah,
your first book, fishers of men was a great braided memoir. Love that style. Thank you. It's coming out. We're just, I'm just about finished with the second edition. It's awesome. I'm so excited. I've got a new preface in it, and that'll be coming out. And then my my new memoir called the Oracle speaks,
that will be coming out in the spring. I'm really, really excited to share that with you guys. Any
last questions that you guys have for me today? Let's
see how we're doing on the K.
Starter.
All right, making some progress.
Got about 15 backers. We're an hour and a half in. I'm going to post the link. There it is. I'm
I thank you. You're cheering me on. I need that
gonna go.
I'm gonna go pass out after this.
Do you see the astrology of 2026 as dramatic and transformational as many others are? Other astrologers are interpreting it to
be, you know what? You guys know how I'm going to answer this question. You guys should be able to predict me. I should be I'm like a meme of myself.
No, I don't think it's going to be dramatic, because every year is dramatic, you know, that's really, truly, that's where I'm coming from. Every year is so dramatic. Life is dramatic. The cosmos is dramatic. Reality is dramatic, you know? And because we love drama, so we create drama, because the universe is drama.
I I think what is more problematic is not the drama and less of the aware, like we don't have enough awareness about the fact that we're in love with drama. James Hillman made such a great point of this in all of his work. He said
the problem is not when he was a therapist, right? A archetypal therapist, and he said, The problem is not drama.
It's that we live under this false belief that drama is bad, rather than recognizing that drama is the great love of the soul.
The soul is drama. You know, the cosmos in a weird way, like, is very dramatic.
There's a reason that we're all here being like, what will the Eclipse changes? What kind of drama will they bring into my life?
You know that that word too? Check this out. This is something I did a while ago. Let me do it again now. I
Yeah, so it comes from the Greek etymologically,
and it means action, but it also means play or performance.
But when, when we're thinking about this word, you and I, when we think of a play, we think of going to see a play on a stage, but the word has an even earlier and more basic etymological meaning than that,
which is like Leela. Have you ever heard of the word Leela before, which means play? It's the play of light and dark. It's the play of the eternal opposites, and reality is that play. And so why do we love going to the theater? Why do we love movies? Why do we love Stranger Things, season five? You know? Why do we love these things? It's because our lives are little microcosms of the plays that we see on stages that we tell ourselves stories about history are not untrue, but it's also
we tell ourselves stories because we're people who look for stories.
We we
look for grand historical narratives. We look for grand historical redemptions. We look for historical apocalypse. We look for messiahs, you know, and we look for,
we look for Shakespeare, you know, we, we we look for tragedy, we look for humor, we look for comedy, we look for story everywhere.
And when we
are into astrology, to me, it's not about is it more or less dramatic? It's all drama.
It's about what kind is it? What kind of drama in my view, and it might sound a little
condescending, so I have to be careful, because I don't mean to be a jerk, but it's just like the astrologers that talk about things as more or less dramatic all the time, all The time,
that's a sign of just bad astrology.
Whereas, to me, if I hear someone talking about
an event in terms of its potency, and there's some really good reasons, comparatively, that it stands out like, okay, it's not illegal to talk about something being, you know, a.
Astrology has a way of showing us like some events are much more dramatic than others. That's fair. I'm not trying to eliminate that way of thinking or talking about astrology altogether, but when that is the only way we talk about astrology constantly, it loses all of its meaning. It loses all of its value,
you know, and that's what I mean when I say it's bad astrology, because it's leela, it's play, it's all drama, and most of the time the the more important question is, what kind of story is this? What kind of drama is this not? Is it more or less than another? Does that make sense?
It's like, what kind of story are we in that's
more important than like, well, is this story, like, you know, is it? Is it,
does it take you, is it like, 10 times faster and like, twistier and crazier than the other story? You know?
Not really in the grand scheme of things, every year is
horrifying and blissful, you know, it's got all of the extremes packed into it. There's rarely a year in human history that doesn't
but a Saturn Neptune year is a very particular type of year. It's some very particular stories. You know,
I think Saturn Neptune is probably the biggest storyline of the year ahead, but the Uranus Pluto Trine are right up there.
Jupiter opposite Pluto, which we talked about a couple days ago, is right up there. I
Adam, you should do more lives when you're sick, you're
Yeah,
it's like truth serum. I
I have a question above, Tracy says, Let me see if I can find your question. Tracy,
oh, it's a delineation question that's too specific for me. All right,
all right. I
think I'm gonna end it here because I'm out of gas. I'm just I'm feeling pretty drained, so I'm gonna
end it here. Thank you guys so much for participating today. I really appreciate it. It's nice to be here with all of you. One last reminder to hit up the Kickstarter.
Feeling kind of weird out here?
Feeling kind of weird in here?

If you're listening to the replay, you guys have a great weekend, everybody. I'll see you again on Sunday for a live stream. If the Kickstarter is majorly lagging over the weekend, I might come back tomorrow. I just haven't been at full strength to support it today, so usually I'd be I'd have more energy. So we'll see how it's doing over the weekend. You might see me back again. Check the Live tab for the streams that you may have missed. We've had several so make sure you check that out too.
